On November 11, at a concert entitled ” The armed man: a mass for peace “, musician Yassine Hawa sang the Adhan (call to prayer) in the Sainte-Trinité church in Paris.
Following the numerous complaints from internet users on social networks, Father Emmanuel P., the parish priest of the Paris parish, published a statement in which he shares the parishioners’ bewilderment and explains that he had not been informed about the interpretation of this call to prayer, which is normally sounded in Islamic countries.
