Asylum, money and flats for foreign criminals: Not only one, but four more Syrian officers engaged in torture are said to have been brought to Austria and to be living here. The eXXpress now possesses intelligence info on this scandal in the State Protection Service (BVT).
In 2015 and 2016, not only the “skilled workers for the Austrian economy” hoped for by some arrived in our country with the wave of refugees: The newspaper “Kurier”, the eXXpress author and the news platform “Fass ohne Boden” already revealed in 2018 that the globally wanted suspected war criminal Khalid al-H. (59) was staying in Austria and that this Syrian brigadier general had been smuggled into the country by Austria’s constitutional protectors themselves (!) (“Operation White Milk”).
According to the latest intelligence information, however, four more Syrian officers are said to be in hiding in Austria. This means that there are already five Syrian military officers and Syrian police chiefs living undetected as neighbours or in an asylum shelter in our country, who are suspected of having committed serious torture or war crimes for years.
The fact that these people can live here unmolested by prosecution and are financed to boot is the second biggest secret service scandal after the blow-up of the hard-hitting criticism by the “Berner Club” of the extremely bad state of the Federal Office for the Protection of the Constitution and Counterterrorism (BVT), which is now hoping for a better image with a different name (Directorate for State Protection and Intelligence, DNS).
And so it has now been revealed that four more top Syrian officers are being hidden in Austria: The eXXpress and “Fass ohne Boden” have statements from foreign intelligence service employees as well as a previously secret testimony from one of these officers. This head of the police department from Rakka (Syria) stated during questioning in an asylum shelter in Großraming (Upper Austria): He knows “three former police officers” of the Assad regime who live in Vienna and Burgenland.
These police officers, who also came to Austria as “refugees”, are, however, no minor hangers-on, as can be read in the interrogation dossier: They are Lieutenant Colonel Abdalmalek A., Brigadier General Zyad A. and Colonel Talal A.
The eXXpress also asked the Ministry of the Interior who could comment on this case – by the time of going to press we had not received an answer.
The following question should also have been answered: According to the intelligence service information available to eXXpress, a state “friendly to Austria” is still supposed to pay for the costs of accommodation and care for the five prominent Syrian asylum seekers – how long are these foreign officers, who are possibly predisposed to violence, supposed to continue living with us in Vienna and Burgenland?
And another question arises that is probably not answered by the Ministry of the Interior: Why does Austria have a motive to hide massively incriminated Syrian officers?
Intelligence circles have reported on this: The state “friendly with Austria” would have a great interest in having these generals and top officers “parked” here in safety – as a personnel reserve for a new basic security structure in case the regime of Bashar al-Assad (56) is suddenly overthrown one day. They are to help ensure that Syria does not fall to the Islamists even then.
