The daily newspaper Heute reports today, Thursday, about a “secret AstraZeneca file” and about a federal crisis team on Wednesday that brought to light that most of the deaths and hospitalisations are said to have occurred in temporal proximity with the vaccine from AstraZeneca.
According to the report, 149 deaths were reported to the AGES (Agency for Food Safety) that were in temporal proximity to the vaccination. Not only that: 1,214 patients had to undergo inpatient hospital treatment after the vaccination, and 220 people had allergic reactions.Politicians apparently reacted to these worrying statistics as early as the summer, because, as Heute further writes, the Green Minister of Health, Wolfgang Mückstein, announced on Puls24 that Austria would phase out AstraZeneca. Mückstein is said to have justified this step with delays in delivery, “bad press” and reservations in the population about the vaccine.
