Germany: A TV crew from the newspaper Welt, one of the country’s largest dailies, is attacked by Hamas sympathisers in Berlin; on the street, some, wrapped in the Palestinian flag, hand out pastries to celebrate the attacks on Israel

In the Neukölln district of Berlin, a camera crew of the newspaper WELT was threatened and forced to delete the footage. Jörg Reichel from the German Journalists’ Union (DJU) Berlin-Brandenburg of the trade union Verdi witnessed the incident and recounts the events.

It's worth noting that Hamas has significant support in many of Europe's larger cities.
