At around 8pm on Monday, a man brutally attacked a mother and her daughter on Rue Pascal d’Oriano in Toulon. The perpetrator first attacked the mother, threatened her with a knife and choked her before slapping the daughter, who tried to intervene, and finally fled.
Police were unable to find the suspect, a 36-year-old man from Toulon, at home as he was identified and located by a witness. The latter was eventually arrested a few hours later.
