A 36-year-old Moroccan man allegedly beat his 23-year-old Moroccan wife after she put herself on the Pill despite his wanting more children, police near Bologna said Wednesday.
Carabinieri said the woman was subjected to threats and violence by the man.
The latest bout of alleged domestic abuse took place Tuesday night, after which the young woman reported her husband to police.
They arrested him.
It is not yet known how many children the couple have.
