“Get lost, this is the land of Allah”: Muslims attack Catholic procession in France

Translation:

“Wallah on the Koran I will cut your throat”, “This is the land of Allah, fuck off”, this is what is happening in France, in Nanterre, and with these slogans young people attacked and prevented a procession authorised by the prefecture.
It is worth remembering that Christians are persecuted in the land of Islam. Can we accept that the same incidents are repeated in France in the name of Islam? When will people stop denying the radicalisation efforts of Islamism among young Muslims and the great influence of Islamism in the suburbs? When will there be a serious plan to combat this ideology and those who spread it: radicalised mosques, associations linked to the Muslim Brotherhood and patronage-based MPs?

A recent study conducted by the FIFF and commissioned by the Licra shows that young Muslims have a radical view of religion compared to other young believers. Do we continue to pretend that we do not know that the Islamists’ influence on young Muslims is growing, or will the government decide to react?

ANTI-CHRISTIAN ASSAULT. Today we celebrated the Immaculate Conception in our parish of Fontenelles in Nanterre. For this occasion, a short procession of 1 kilometre is organised in the evening, carrying the statue of the Blessed Virgin and singing songs to the Virgin.1/9

After only 100 metres, at our first stop, we were called names by passers-by…. Then several young men began to surround us, about ten in all, giggling as they insulted us 2/9

Then the giggling was followed by increasingly violent insults “children of whores”, “gang of whores”, then more and more Christianophobic words “This is not a cathedral”, “You are Khouffars, infidels”, “Get lost, this is not your country” 3/9

In view of the hostility of these youths, we decide to continue on the way of the procession. There they come closer to us, the insults become more and more violent and there is spitting on the ground in our direction. 4/9

The priest is the first to be attacked because he is leading the procession. He is spat at and then cold water is poured on him. Tension rises and the group that has surrounded us makes contact. “wallah on the Quran I will cut your throat”. 5/9

The priest explains that it is a procession dedicated to the Virgin. Nothing to do: “This is the land of Allah, fuck off”. More words are spoken in Arabic while several parishioners are violently pushed around by the youths 6/9

We were followed almost during the entire procession and insulted with the foulest possible language, which we drowned out with chants to the Virgin. Finally, calm returned only when we returned to the church where a police patrol was waiting for us because they had been called 7/9.

No one was hurt, but the parishioners were shocked by this inexplicable violence against a simple procession that was taking place in a peaceful atmosphere, had been authorised by the prefecture and was following a traditional route. There was hatred in their eyes without anyone being able to explain it in any way. 8/9

Honestly, the atmosphere is very stressful and it is becoming more and more complicated, even dangerous, to be a Christian in certain areas. I am not trying to excite compassion, but only to explain the verbal and physical violence faced by Christians in France 9/9
