Twelve years after being elected Pontiff in 2013, Pope Francis remains very controversial, with his leftist ideas alienating the conservatives both inside the Church and in the wider field of Catholic faithful.
He is regarded as having packed the College of Cardinals with men with his own political pedigree to ensure that the next head of the Church would be a leftist like him.
As he suffers from double pneumonia, acute respiratory difficulties, and partial kidney failure, choosing a successor is a task that may have to be faced soon.
Out of 138 Cardinals eligible to vote for the next Pope – under the age of 80 – no less than 110 were appointed by Pope Francis – about 80 percent.
With so many members of the College of Cardinals appointed by him, ‘progressives’ are expected to easily have the numbers to overcome the conservatives, although some say that the Cardinals are ‘highly intelligent people who think for themselves.’
While Pope Francis is still alive, with his condition reportedly getting better, it hasn’t stopped the intense speculation over who will emerge as the next Pope.
She was only 11 years old, but that was no problem for Mohammad S.: He continued to have a sexual ‘relationship’ with the underage girl, celebrating her 12th birthday with mini cakes and abuse … The trial against S. continued on Monday. The actual accusation against him: on the evening of the 31 August 2024, he allegedly lured two 18-year-olds into his flat in Erfurt (Thuringia), threatened them with a machete and then forced one of the women to have sexual intercourse. ‘You won’t get out of here until one of you has sex with me,’ the Afghan, who was infected with scabies at the time, is alleged to have said before the rape. During the trial at the district court in Erfurt (Thuringia) on Monday, further shocking details from the Afghan’s life came to light: the criminal investigation department discovered the sexual child abuse when investigating his mobile phone.
Since at least March 2022, Mohammad S. is said to have molested the then 11-year-old Emily K. on a daily basis. He claims that the family agreed to the relationship.
The parents told a very different story: ‘We wanted to stop it, we told him that it was a criminal offence,’ said the girl’s father on the witness stand. But the relationship continued in secret: ‘As soon as she left the house, there was nothing more we could do,’ he says about the difficulties of protecting his drug-addicted daughter from the accused, who claims to be 19, then 24 and suddenly 29 years old.
In fact, the central register of foreigners suggests that Mohammad S. is not 25 years old, as assumed in the indictment, but 31. But that’s not all: the fugitive had already served six months in prison for threatening to bomb a savings bank in Erfurt in 2022. The extremely aggressive behaviour of the alleged rapist is consistent with the expert opinion of psychiatric doctor Dr Iris Maurer. He told her about violence since his earliest childhood: beatings by his teachers, daily fights in which he also used a knife. A behaviour that S. did not stop even after he fled to Germany (2016). His gratitude for 575 euros in social benefits plus rent is documented by expert Maurer in her documents: ‘There are no good people in Germany. Animals are better than them. And if a person is an animal, it must be slaughtered’ he claims,
Vučić is standing tall against the Globalist NGOs.
Serbian police raided today (25) the offices of two Belgrade-based ‘democracy watchdogs’ (a.k.a. Globalist NGOs) as part of an investigation about abuse of funds donated by the U.S. international aid agency (USAID), according to Nenad Stefanovic, a senior state prosecutor.
Prosecutors got information from the US Trump administration after Trump, State Secretary Marco Rubio and other U.S. officials commented publicly about the freeze of USAID funding for shady purposes.
The Higher Public Prosecutor’s Office ordered the confiscation of all documentation related to USAID from the four NGOs, and interrogated individuals in charge of spending.
Maja Stojanovic, director of Civic Initiatives, stated that 20 detectives raided their offices ‘without a court order’. Reuters’ report does not check this information but publishes it.
“’Today’s intrusion by the police… represents a brutal demonstration of force and continued pressure on civil society in Serbia’, Stojanovic said.”
It arose that USAID has invested almost $1 billion in Serbia since 2001, in what the Reuters’ report describes as ‘bolstering growth, strengthening the ‘rule of law’ and improving ‘good governance’ – all those code-words that signify ‘color revolutions’ and ‘regime change’ in the double-speak of CIA-USAID.
These donations go to ‘government bodies and parliament’, as well as to a number of ‘watchdogs and rights organizations’.

The post-World War II international order of human rights was built on the ashes of dead Jews, whom the world refused to save as they were being led to the death camps of Birkenau and Treblinka.
Here we are: that international order has just been dealt a mortal blow by the defense of Hamas, which has staged a spectacle, returning the bodies of murdered Jewish children.
The two little Bibas children were not murdered with firearms but strangled, and, after death, “terrible acts” were committed on their bodies.
Is this the “armed resistance” praised by the our esteemed philosopher Judith Butler?
French professor of sociology, Guillaume Erner, had already said that Kfir Bibas introduced the monstrous concept of “hostage newborn” into our vocabulary. I had never seen it before. I had never heard it before.
On October 7th, terrorists in Gaza killed many other children. Entire families.
The Siman Tov family was murdered, including the beautiful 5-year-old twin daughters and the 2-year-old son Omer; their bodies were burned.
The Kapshetar family, including Aline, 8, and Ethan, 5, massacred while returning from a family trip.
On the day that Hamas showed the world the coffins of the Bibas brothers, one could only expect what we saw Francesca Albanese, UN special rapporteur, do,… send a request to the Spanish government to stop selling weapons to Israel.
From Save the Children – remember them? – comes a post about Gaza, but about Palestinian Arab children receiving vaccinations against polio from Israel (part of the strange “genocide” in which Israel organizes vaccinations of the population it is supposed to be eliminating).
From Oxfam comes an alarming post about the hygienic conditions in Congo. No, nothing about the 70 Christians beheaded in a church in Congo (the only Western government to report what happened is the Hungarian government).
Amnesty International on the Bibas family is shocking. It compared the Palestinian Arab terrorists imprisoned and with 40-50 life sentences to the Bibas children, murdered and mutilated, as “civilians detained arbitrarily”.
In Gaza, 365 square kilometers for two million people, there are a thousand non-governmental organizations, a third of which are foreign (even the Palestinian Arab ones receive generous Western funding). Gaza has the highest concentration of NGOs in the world. In the Congo, two million square kilometers for 95 million people of which nine million are displaced, there are the same number of NGOs as in Gaza. Yet, in 500 days of captivity of Israeli hostages in Gaza, not one NGO has ever asked for, let alone demanded, their unconditional release, without ifs and buts.
“Look, there are many reasons to light up the City Hall, the problem is to hold political positions,” said the mayor of Milan, Beppe Sala.
Indeed, Sala has always found many reasons to light up the City Hall, and almost all of them are useless.
He lit up the facade of Palazzo Marino for refugees.
Palazzo Marino then decided to dim the lights for Energy Saving Day (Sala compared Greta Thunberg to Anne Frank).
Then Palazzo Marino was dyed blue for Europe Day.
Then it was dyed purple for people with disabilities.
But on October 7th, the mayor of Milan said no to lighting up the Palace in white and blue as a sign of solidarity with Israel. The Israeli flag and the (horrible) peace flag remained up for just 24 hours.
No orange color for the Bibas brothers, killed and mutilated by terrorists in Gaza. The mayor refused to do it.
Even Israel’s most bitter enemies, the anti-Semites of yesterday and today, are tempted to keep a low profile after the news of the strangulation and mutilation of the Bibas brothers.
What cause demands the sacrifice of an 9-month-old baby, a 4-year-old child, and their mother?
What cause demands the extermination of an entire people?
What cause feeds on the massacre of civilian families?
What cause sublimates death and places no value on human life?
What cause can raise its children to be so fanatical that they hate other children they don’t even know?
The only relief is that the two little Bibas boys and their mother never knew about the mayor of Milan, Amnesty, Oxfam, Save the Children, Francesca Albanese and all the other humanitarian clowns who make up the “humanitarian” soundtrack of the West, while their captors cut off the breasts of Israeli women and sold the heads of their victims.
A Syrian migrant has an incredible arrest record, including smashing the windows of 245 cars, beating and injuring an 84-year-old woman, and possessing illegal weapons, but the courts have decided to let him stay in the country.
The man, Firas A., is a chronic repeat offender in theory, but in practice, this designation has also been dropped by the criminal police office of Hamburg. No deportation is currently planned, which has been revealed due to a parliamentary inquiry by the Alternative for Germany (AfD).
Firas A. arrived in Germany in 2015 and was issued a permanent residence permit in December 2021. He has also driven without his license on numerous occasions, but had his car keys taken away during the second time he was arrested for this offense, according to Bild.
Afterwards, he began his spree of smashing vehicle windshields. The man was causing incredible damage across the city before plainclothes officers caught him in the middle of destroying a vehicle window.
In November 2023, he was arrested for threatening his ex-boss and found to be in possession of an illegal butterfly knife. He was only detained for one day, and according to the public prosecutor, this was because he confessed to the offense and there was no further risk of “obstructing justice.”
Now, the man has been taken into custody for attacking an 84-year-old woman.
He has already been convicted eight times, including the last instance on July 24, 2024. He has compiled a total of €10,500 in fines.
Hamburg is known to be one of the most pro-migrant cities in Germany and is ruled by a red-green state government. They argue the man cannot be deported as a person entitled to subsidiary protection may “only be deported if there are compelling reasons of national security or public order.”
Apparently, despite his incredibly long criminal record, these conditions are allegedly not being met.
However, the city of Hamburg has reported the man’s offenses to the Federal Office for Migration and Refugees (BAMF) “and asked them to determine whether the protection status will be revoked.” A response is still pending.
“We need tough consequences for repeat offenders. Repeat offenders must be stripped of their protection status. Anyone who abuses our hospitality in this way must be consistently deported,” said Hamburg’s AfD parliamentary group leader Dirk Nockemann.
Amid a wave migrant attacks, greenie energy devastation costing the country its global competitiveness, and a surge of populist conservative victories from political upstarts elsewhere — in Italy, Netherlands, and other parts of Europe, as well as the U.S., El Salvador, and Argentina, Germany opted for the same-old stale conservatives who brought them to the state of where they are.
New chancellor Friedrich Merz is their perfect pick.

Sure, they threw a nest of leftist vipers out, which I suppose is an improvement. The far-left SPD trashed Germany’s energy production in the name of going green, mismanaged the country’s economy, spent up a storm, left Germany a military weakling, and opened the country’s borders to the absolute bottom of the barrel in illegal immigrants, enforcing no laws against them, which has led to a string of terror attacks and a sea of crimes. presumably, the CDU/CSU, led by the inexperienced and unfortunately named Friedrich Merz (can we call you ‘Fred’?), will hopefully clean up at least some of that. And on the bright side, NBC News described the results as “causing dismay,” forgetting that every election has a winner and a loser and one of them is going to be unhappy.
But the upstart AfD should have won, not the stodgy CDU/CSU, if Germany were ride the world’s populist trend. Call me impatient, but they should have won. They could have joined the Trump-like nations, brought back law and order, thrown the illegals out, ended green nonsense, and restored their nation’s greatness. Their moment seemed to be now, but they didn’t win. Sure, they made gains, but they didn’t win. How many times have we heard this kind of story in Europe?
Germany just held their election.
They require photo ID and use paper ballots. They hand-count the votes of each station one by one. No electronic voting machines due to security concerns.
Worse still, Merz has stated that he plans to form a coalition with the outgoing SPD leftists, the third-place finishers who took 18% of the vote, their worst result in decades, bypassing the AfD because he considers them basically Nazis, ignoring that Nazis carried ‘socialism’ right there in their name as well as game. That pretty well means the socialists will be calling the shots, given the experience we know here in the states of RINOs aligning with leftists. They all go leftist when that happens. The AfD will be completely shut out of power, much as France’s upstart party led by Marine Le Pen got that number pulled on them a couple years earlier.
For us, the Germans will probably be a pain in the keister, with Merz stating he will distance himself from the U.S. If that means Germany pays its NATO bills and adopts a responsible energy policy, we can salute them anyway. If that means Germany gets rid of its open immigration and at least repatriates criminals, even better. But more likely, they will just obstruct the U.S. in the name of consensus or what the U.N. wants, making themselves a drag on the alliance.
Elon Musk, who loudly supported AfD, noted that it was young people, particularly in the battered east, who supported AfD in the greatest numbers, meaning, the picture isn’t entirely bleak — the young people will continue to build strength for this party as the older, more cautious, generation dies off.
As Rich Baehr has noted, movements take time to build strength and compared to the last election, this was impressive. The layered building of this party is continuing, much as has been seen elsewhere, because up until now, they were nowhere on the map. If the momentum continues, they will eventually win.
But oh, it’s so disappointing to see that, as Thomas Lifson once told us, the Germans “just want to be nice people.” That seems to be the dynamic here, and one can only hope that for Germany, it’s not too late to change course and become the dynamic nation they ought to be.
Britain’s speech police have come under fire yet again after they showed up at a grandmother’s doorstep to give her “advice” after criticising left-wing politicians on social media.
54-year-old school administrator and grandmother Helen Jones said that she was frightened into considering keeping quiet about her political beliefs after officers from the Greater Manchester Police showed up at her door last week over her mild-mannered calls for the resignation of local Labour Councillor David Sedgwick.
Cllr Sedgwick was involved in the WhatsApp scandal in Britain, which resulted in the sacking of former Health Minister Andrew Gwynne, who was accused of posting racist and sexist remarks in a group chat. In response to a letter posted by Sedgwick from an elderly constituent complaining about poor garbage collection, Gwynne reportedly opined that it wouldn’t matter as hopefully she would be dead by the next election.
Outraged, Mrs Jones took to Facebook, where she posted of Sedwick: “Let’s hope he does the decent thing and resigns. I somehow think his ego won’t allow it.” In another post, she said: “Not looking good for Cllr Sedgwick!!!”
Despite admitting that the grandmother had not committed a crime, two plainclothes police officers appeared at her doorstep last Tuesday. Jones later received a phone call from a sergeant informing her that they had received a complaint about her posts on Facebook.
Speaking to the Mail on Sunday, Mrs Jones said: “It was actually quite scary. It made me think I best just keep quiet for the rest of my life, because you just can’t say anything these days.”
“I asked the police officer, have I committed any sort of crime – why did you call at my door? They said, ‘Someone has spoken to us about your social media posts’.
“I then said: ‘If I don’t take your advice and continue doing what I am doing, will I be committing a crime?’ He said no. I then asked: ‘What will you do about it?’ He said: ‘There’s not a lot we can do, we are just giving you advice’.”
🚨 Come out, it’s the thought police!
As thousands of REAL criminals go uninvestigated, two British detectives call on a grandmother…
Her crime? Criticising Labour councillors at centre of the ‘Hope you Die’ WhatsApp scandal
She went on to claim that her neighbours had not received a police visit after reporting actual crimes but that she had been doorstepped by the police within 48 hours of a complaint being made about her social media posts.
“I’m living my life day-to-day, law-abiding, and then suddenly I’ve got the police at the door showing a warrant card,” Jones said.
The incident came just days after U.S. Vice President JD Vance lambasted the British and other European governments for failing to uphold freedom of speech.
British columnist Allison Pearson, who was also doorstepped by police over her own social media posts, said: “Unfortunately, the time has now come for members of the public to take legal action against the police. We may not want to, but they leave us no choice. Police are harassing innocent people and contravening their free speech rights. JD Vance was right. We have lost our way.”
Former policeman Harry Miller, who founded the free-speech Fair Cop campaign group, added that Mrs Jones’s treatment “flies in the face of our freedoms, and it’s wrong. That’s far more akin to a European police force—or even worse, a Stasi police force.”
A spokesman for the Greater Manchester Police said: “We spoke to the woman for six minutes to advise she was the subject of a complaint of harassment and to answer any questions she may have. No further action is necessary as no crime has been committed. We are under a duty to inform her that she is the subject of a complaint.
“The genuine threats that have been made to local councillors recently have meant it has been more necessary to ensure all reports are looked at. On this day officers were making 203 arrests for crimes like assault, burglary and rape. Tackling these priorities are why the complaint was dealt with two days after it was reported.”

Germany’s likely next chancellor did not even wait 24 hours after polling closed in the federal election before revealing that voters who demanded changes to migration policy should instead expect more of the same.
Friedrich Merz, leader of the ‘conservative’ Christian Democratic Union (CDU), said on Monday that “none of us are talking about border closures” to deal with illegal migration.
NOW – Germany's likely new Chancellor Merz (CDU) announces: "None of us are talking about border closures" to curb illegal migration.pic.twitter.com/lneI0ZtS8e
In fact, polling strongly suggests that many Germans support the right-wing populist Alternative für Deutschland (AfD)’s stance on limiting migration and refugee numbers, and believe the party better understands the growing sense of insecurity among citizens. The fact that the AfD finished in second place in the election with more than a fifth of the vote—just eight points below the CDU—is also indicative of a frustration with establishment failings on border (un)control. Not that this will impact national policy.
Merz’s statement prompted angry claims on social media that he was already going back on pre-election pledges. In particular, that “permanent border controls” would be imposed “on day one” which would “refuse all attempts at illegal entry.”
Anticipating such criticism, the CDU boss—saying that “this was claimed at times during the election campaign”—suggested that media outlets exaggerated his migration stance ahead of the national vote.
If that was true, Merz was happy to go along with this portrayal right up until polling day. Instead of refuting these claims when they were made, he waited hours after voting booths closed to keep the appeal of ‘conservative’ beliefs alive until the last minute.
The same misuse of conservative beliefs has been seen in the UK—where the Tories ruled as conservatives in name only for 14 years before being replaced last year by Labour, which in turn only pretends to represent working Britons—and elsewhere across Europe.
The CDU has now, at least, revealed its true colours—albeit too late—as well as its efforts to resist the pressures of democracy, particularly on migration control.
Trans police officers will be allowed to strip-search women despite previous outrage.
Proposed guidance for the National Police Chief’s Council (NPCC) says that biologically male staff who identify as women should be allowed to intimately search women as long as they possess a gender recognition certificate (GRC).
The council withdrew similar instructions last year, and launched a “thorough” review of the guidance, after the previous government said it could impact women’s safety.
Women’s rights groups claimed that senior police officers had “forgotten about women, in their pursuit of ideology”, saying the guidance represented a “serious breach of the fundamental rights of female detainees”.
However, it has been revealed that the council’s DEI committee has decided that biological males with a GRC should be able to strip search detainees.
The Telegraph, having seen the documents, stated: “The recommendation from the NPCC lead for LGBTQ+ is that a trans officer searches a person consistent with the officer’s sex as established by a gender recognition certificate [GRC].
“It is important that employers treat people in accordance with their lived gender identity, whether or not they have a gender recognition certificate.”
It suggested that transgender officers without a GRC could be exempt from searching and that if a detainee objects to being searched by a trans officer they could be substituted by another officer.
However, it also noted: “Consideration should also be given to the manner in which the detainee objects to the search and any prejudicial language should be dealt with positively.”
The previous guidance, which has now been withdrawn, read: “If the refusal is based on discriminatory views, consideration should be given for the incident to be recorded as a non-crime hate incident unless the circumstances amount to a recordable crime.”
The guidance, though taking into consideration the wellbeing of trans officers and detainees, does not consider the impact of female detainees being searched by biological males.
In 2024, 68,874 strip searches were conducted in police stations and 5,098 in other locations.
The guidance will be reviewed by the full NPCC next month before becoming an official policy.
Cathy Larkman, the national policing lead for the Women’s Rights Network and a retired police superintendent claimed police officers had been “entirely captured by gender ideology and have taken leave of their senses”.
She hit out at forces, calling their words hollow when speaking about tackling violence against women and girls if they then allow biological males to strip search women.
“We have seen time and again the impact when it goes wrong, yet the police want to magnify this a hundred-fold by allowing opposite sex strip-searching,” she added.
“The police have forgotten about women, in their pursuit of ideology. They have become fanatics. It’s unforgivable”.
Chief executive of Sex Matters, Maya Forstater said: “The natural reaction to this new guidance on trans officers searching is: what can the NPCC possibly be thinking?”
Forstater branded the new guidance as a “serious breach of the fundamental rights of female detainees”. Screenshot X
She branded the new guidance as a “serious breach of the fundamental rights of female detainees.”
An NPCC spokesman said: “We have been conducting a review of the national guidance on custody searches carried out by transgender officers and employees.
“This review has been informed by colleagues across policing and partner organisations, community groups and associations and with extensive legal advice.”
The spokesman added that chief constables will be reviewing the changes in the coming weeks.
