Gaza’s barbarians enjoy an admiring Western press office

We have gone far beyond the grim comparisons with the 1930s. The reason why the Germans had to hold the conference on the shores of Lake Wannsee in secret (only one copy of that conference survived, miraculously reaching us) at which they decided to exterminate 11 million Jews is because if they had announced it in public, even the typical quiet German might have felt a little uncomfortable.

For all those in the West who have perpetuated the lie of the “Israeli genocide” in Gaza over the past 15 months, have a good look at the videos and photos of the immense well-dressed and well-fed violent Arab crowd surrounding the first three freed Israeli women, the Islamic terrorists with balaclavas emerging from “humanitarian tents” and tunnels, watch them jumping on the Red Cross cars.

Did the news and newspapers at least understand what they were broadcasting?

A large mob of lynchers shouting “Allahu Akbar” at the three Israeli women as they are handed over to the Red Cross, whose vehicles are being stormed by the same mobs that abused the living hostages and desecrated the bodies of the murdered ones when they dragged them to Gaza after October 7.

The Western darlings have done and are doing all the sorts of things that the United States and the EU claim justify the overthrow of a regime. But fortunately for them, the Palestinian Arabs enjoy a fawning Western press office.

La Repubblica, the Italian left’s newspaper, titled the agreement the “return to freedom.” Are they telling us that Hamas is a regime of freedom? That the freedom to plan the next pogrom is returning?

Not only that. The Red Cross also signed Hamas’s “certificates” on the release of the hostages.

Israel: “Give us the women and children first.” Hamas: “Give us the terrorists first.”

For each of the women, children and elderly people still alive, Hamas demanded the release of 30 Palestinian Arab terrorists. For the nine sick hostages, Hamas demanded the release of 110 terrorists. For each of the female soldiers, Hamas demanded the release of 50 terrorists. For the hostages Avera Mengistu and Hisham al-Sayed, held in Gaza for a decade, Hamas demanded the release of 30 terrorists each.

Mohammad Abu Warda: 48 life sentences for two terrorist attacks on bus line # 18 in Jerusalem in 1996 that murdered 45 people.

Tabet Mardawi: 21 life sentences for involvement in a series of attacks including a suicide bombing at a bus station in Binyamina, a shooting at the Hadera market, a suicide bombing on a bus in Hadera, and a restaurant bombing in Kiryat Motzkin and Wadi Ara.

Mohammed Naifeh: 13 life sentences, including the attack on Kibbutz Metzer that murdered five Israelis.

Ahmad Obeid: 7 life sentences for sending the suicide bomber in the Jerusalem Café Hillel bombing that murdered seven people.

And while the indecent spectacle was being played out in Gaza, in the streets of Europe…

A “victory march” was held in Berlin, where Palestinian Arab terrorists and murderers who massacre Jews were frantically celebrated. “Let’s tell every martyr that he has gone to heaven: he has not gone in vain,” chanted the participants. Many of them shouted in Arabic calls to bomb Tel Aviv and annihilate Israel. In Brussels they were distributing sweets to celebrate Hamas…

A piece of Europe is lost since it is no longer part of the West, but soon it will realize what it means to live with barbarians at home.

Germany’s Cultural Elites Perverted “Debate” on Israel

National Gallery of Berlin, Wikimedia Commons, A.Savin, Wikipedia

On November 22, 2024, at the National Gallery of Berlin, the American photographer and political activist Nan Goldin asked, “Why can’t I speak, Germany?” With apparently no sense of irony, she spoke at a lectern in front of a large audience, with numerous phones pointing at her, at the opening of her retrospective, titled “This will not end well.” The subject of her talk was not her artistic portfolio but rather her political agenda on Israel.

An enthusiastic audience applauded her outrage and indignation over the “genocide” in Gaza and Lebanon, and her immoral equivalence between the Palestinian population after the October 7 atrocities with pogroms against Jews under the Russian Empire. Goldin’s false claim that “antizionism has nothing to do with antisemitism” was followed by loud chants of appreciation and applause.

The one person who could not speak was the National Gallery’s Director, Klaus Biesenbach, who was shouted down when he attempted to distance himself from her statement, while adding the obligatory and obvious defense of Goldin’s right to express herself.

The “Nan Goldin incident” was widely covered in prominent media platforms, including the New York Times and German press, as well as in social media, almost everywhere repeating her false accusations regarding the ostensible silencing of Israel’s critics. Goldin is one of a number of examples (another is Judith Butler) in which Jewish anti-Israel activists are used by Germans as fig-leaves to claim that their agendas should not be labeled as antisemitic.

These events took place against the backdrop of and in response to a resolution the German parliament (Bundestag) adopted on November 7, and supported by all of the major parties, which sought “to ensure that no organizations or projects that spread antisemitism, question Israel’s right to exist, call for a boycott of Israel or actively support the Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement receive financial support.” Diverting attention from the issue of taxpayer funding, the attacks from the far left repeated the “assault on free speech” meme. The alleged “cultural crackdown” and “silencing of critical voices” are fictions, manipulated to create the false image of victimhood.

This battle over state support for anti-Israel propaganda and Holocaust inversion under the facade of supporting culture and free speech is not new. The November text reiterates and strengthens a May 2019 Bundestag resolution that labeled BDS as antisemitism and explicitly referenced the working definition of the International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance (IHRA). At that time, a vocal group of German artists and activists aligned with the far left launched a highly publicized and well financed campaign, under the grandiose heading of “Initiative GG 5.3 Weltoffenheit” (open-worldness). They declared:

“The application of the parliamentary BDS resolution by the Bundestag is cause for great concern… By invoking this resolution, accusations of antisemitism are being misused to push aside important voices and to distort critical positions.”

Behind the thin facades of false antisemitism and “silencing,” the goal of this campaign is to end German military and diplomatic support for Israel. While much of the German elite continues to acknowledge the nation’s post-Holocaust responsibility towards Israel and the Jewish people, this consensus is opposed by the ex-Communist far left, including many involved in arts and culture, and who are primarily supported by institutions funded by the German Federal government.

These frameworks are frequently exploited for promoting virulently anti-Israel and antisemitic events and exhibits, such as the infamous 2023 Documenta festival of contemporary art, which was widely condemned both inside and outside of Germany. Indeed, the Bundestag resolutions calling for an end to public funding for such events are direct responses to this abuse.

In the 15 months since the October 7, 2023 atrocities and the Israeli military response, German cities, as elsewhere, have been the sites of violent “pro-Palestinian” mob actions, including attacks on pro-Israel and visibly Jewish targets and against the police. Jews are routinely intimidated, Jewish life in Germany is under threat, and Israeli academics are often excluded from scholarly exchanges. The leaders of these discriminatory and blatantly antisemitic actions attempt to justify their behavior by repeating the false allegations of “genocide” and similar labels.

Fringe activists and their “positions of moral outrage” continue to be funded by the German government, with high visibility platforms to promote their blatant anti-Israel and antisemitic campaigns.

In the face of poisonous propaganda, the Bundestag resolutions calling for an end to German government funding to “organizations or projects that spread antisemitism [or] question Israel’s right to exist” are important. Implementing them and stopping the support via cultural and academic institutions will not “silence” the voices of hate, but at least the German state will no longer be providing them with resources or legitimacy.

Osama bin Laden Looms Over Autobahn

Osama bin Laden is no longer with us, but the image of this fiend with his finger in the air to indicate there is no god other than the demon he worships still provides inspiration to the Islamic colonists who have been imported to destroy Germany. At last word, drivers could see it looming over the A8 Munich-Rosenheim motorway just outside Munich:

Translation:

The police station in Munich-Giesing was informed by telephone about the Osama bin Laden scandal on the A8 on January 10. The Bavarian Ministry of the Interior and Minister Herrmann on 17 January by e-mail. When will the former al-Qaeda terror chief finally disappear from the highway?

Via Allah’s Willing Executioners:

[The sign] shows Osama bin Laden, the former head of the Islamist terrorist organisation Al-Qaida, which carried out a large number of devastating terrorist attacks, including New York [and elsewhere] in 2001 with 2,996 dead and over 6,000 acutely injured, Madrid in 2004 with 193 dead and 2051 injured and London in 2005 with 52 dead and over 700 injured.

In case anyone misses the point:

One could assume that this message is intended to announce that political Islam will soon rule Bavaria. In autumn, a group of young Afghans who call themselves ‘Kings of Munich’ and ‘Rulers of Europe’ on TikTok became known. Tens of thousands of fans watch their videos. RTL broadcast a report on this group in September. Their aim is to help Islam rule Germany and install Sharia law. The Taliban are ‘the best government’. As Osama bin Laden also spent many years in Afghanistan, this mindset would fit in with the campaign.

The Taliban — to whom the Biden Administration surrendered and upon whom it showered hundreds of $millions of other people’s money — provided a haven for bin Laden as he launched the 9/11 attacks.

Apparently no one in charge has been in a hurry to take down this advertisement for Islamic mass murder. As of Sunday, bin Laden’s face was still up there, reminding Germans of their impending doom if they cannot reassert control over their country.

Joe Biden infamously opposed killing bin Laden in 2011. Biden is gone now, and his party is out of power. The USA has made amazing progress recently in the crucial task of getting moonbats out from behind the wheel. Germany still has some work to do.

Germany: When men pray, women are not allowed to enter! Sharia law apparently already applies in the quiet room at Aachen University of Applied Sciences

So-called ‘rooms of silence’ now exist at almost every university and are intended to give students, regardless of religion, denomination or gender, the opportunity to pray in everyday university life. At Aachen University of Applied Sciences, however, this is not possible due to radical Islamic students, who claim the Room of Silence exclusively for themselves.

On its website, Aachen University of Applied Sciences, which is actually known for its top ranking in degree programmes such as business informatics or business law, advertises ‘sustainability’ and ‘diversity and equal opportunities’. However, it remains questionable whether the university, which claims to offer ‘high-quality teaching’, can really speak of equal opportunities. For although the educational institution advertises itself as offering ‘study and employment conditions without discrimination, barriers or exclusion’ and claims to offer ‘protection against discrimination on the basis of gender’, there appears to be a blind spot at Aachen University in this regard: the so-called ‘room of silence’.

The so-called ‘rooms of silence’ have existed at German universities for many years – especially in the context of demographic change. They are intended to give students the opportunity to switch off, meditate or pray during the hectic university routine – regardless of religion, gender or origin. At Aachen University of Applied Sciences, however, silence does not seem to be granted to all students. There is a notice at the entrance to the Room of Silence that reads as follows:

‘Please wait outside if someone of the opposite sex is praying!!! Thank you!!!’

Equal opportunities? No chance. At FH Aachen, men and women are not supposed to pray together.

According to the students, the note was put up by devout Muslims who use the space for their own religious purposes – and who do not respect the religious practices of other religions, as officially intended.
Although it should be emphasised that there is no evidence that the notice was posted by Muslim students, it would not be the first time that a ‘Room of Silence’ has been hijacked by devout Muslims. Back in 2016, journalist Louisa Schmidt described in an article in the German magazine Spiegel that the Room of Silence at TU Dortmund University had to be temporarily closed after Muslims erected a wall separating men and women.

Even then, Schmidt describes in her article: ‘Muslim students spread out in the room with prayer mats and put up a wall to separate women and men. Other students began to avoid the room.’

However, the ‘rooms of silence’ have also caused problems at other universities. For example, Muslims at the University of Hanover have already demanded the separation of women and men during prayer on several occasions. At the Technical University of Berlin, problems arose because Muslims used the gym instead of the ‘Room of Silence’ for their Friday prayers, often bringing together several hundred people.

At Bochum University of Applied Sciences, the police and the Office for the Protection of the Constitution even had to intervene in 2012 because the Salafist and suspected bodyguard of Osama bin Laden, Sami A., was holding secret Islamist meetings in the ‘Room of Silence’. Here too, the university prayer room had to be temporarily closed and the then President of Bochum University of Applied Sciences, Prof Dr Martin Sternberg, had to admit to the press: ‘The experiment has failed’.

But things can be worse. At many universities, Muslims refuse to use the ‘Room of Silence’ at all due to the lack of gender segregation and switch to university libraries, for example, where they disturb others with their calls to prayer.

Last year, for example, a video of Muslims praying at the University of Essen went viral on social media, in which Muslim students prayed between library shelves without shoes and with prayer rugs spread out.

Even at Aachen University of Applied Sciences, the ‘Room of Silence’ does not seem to be sufficient for many Muslim students. Despite the notice calling for gender segregation, many Muslims pray under the stairs of the stairwell at the Eupener Straße campus. According to eyewitnesses, some were also shouting ‘Allahu Akbar’ loudly.

In the corridor instead of the ‘Room of Silence’: Muslims at Aachen University of Applied Sciences pray underneath a staircase in the university building, shouting ‘Allahu Akbar’.

However, although many students feel intimidated by the prayer practices of Muslim students at Aachen University of Applied Sciences, the university, which advertises ‘diversity’ on its website, strongly promotes the Muslim student body. Last year, for example, the university even organised a ‘Joint Breaking of the Fast’ during the Muslim fasting month of Ramadan, which was sponsored by the Federal Foreign Office.
The General Students’ Committee (AStA) of Aachen University of Applied Sciences also sees no misconduct on the part of Muslim students. The student committee, which officially has the task of representing the interests of all students and campaigning for the improvement of study conditions, wrote in a statement on the issue of the use of the Room of Silence:

‘However, the claim is indirectly made that Muslim students would claim the premises of a Room of Silence exclusively for themselves. This never came up in the previous discussion and continues to show that Muslim students are ascribed negative behaviour across the board.’

UK lawmaker threatens to use Online Safety Act to censor social media platforms

Politicians from the U.K.’s ruling Labour party are starting to openly “out” the country’s Online Safety Act for the sweeping censorship law that its opponents have all along been warning it is.

The extreme case of using the law to completely ban social media platforms in the U.K. is now being promoted as a possibility by Labour MP Lola McEvoy.

“If these big platforms that have huge users don’t comply with the Online Safety Act, then they have no right to be accessed in this country,” the MP said while appearing on a podcast, adding, “So I think that’s what the law’s about.”

The masks are coming off, prompted by the latest clash between the government and Prime Minister Keir Starmer in particular and X owner Elon Musk – who criticized their role in a historical child sex exploitation scandal in the U.K.

In addition to saying that failure to comply with the law could result in the platforms getting banned, McEvoy suggested that “unelected citizens from other countries” should not be allowed to criticize U.K.’s government – she justified this by saying the criticism of Minister for Safeguarding Jess Phillips created “a very dangerous situation,” equating it to “bullying and harassment.”

McEvoy even made a point of public figures needing to be even more aggressively protected through censorship – effectively from whatever the government backing those figures decides to pack into the vague categories such as “bullying” and “harassment,” and in that way deal with critical, including legitimate, speech.

And where would any controversial call to step up online censorship be without getting served to the public as a way to above all – protect children?

So, in addition to blanket bans on accessing apps and platforms for essentially political reasons, China-style, McEvoy recalled that the Online Safety Act also contains the threat of massive fines in case the social media companies fail to comply with what she referred to as “very strict age verification” requirements.

McEvoy spoke about regulator Ofcom’s powers, which she described as “really significant” in enforcing the fines under the law that is being gradually implemented.

And as that is happening, this MP wants the Online Safety Act to be “strengthened” where it concerns the focus on things it treats as harmful to children, such as access to illegal content or pornography.

The dark side of Europe’s energy devolution

By Vijay Jayaraj

The winter of 2025 has been brutal for Europe, exposing the severe flaws of its over-reliance on wind and solar energy. As temperatures plummeted, countries grappled with electricity shortages, soaring energy prices, and the grim specter of blackouts.

In the United Kingdom and Germany, two countries that have positioned themselves as global leaders in the adoption of “renewable” energy, the dangerous gamble of prioritizing wind and solar power over reliable energy sources is leaving millions vulnerable in the dead of winter.

When the wind doesn’t blow and the sun doesn’t shine, backup energy sources — usually fossil fuels or nuclear power — must fill the gap. This winter is bringing reality into sharp focus.

Britain’s Brush with Blackouts

The U.K. narrowly avoided catastrophic blackouts this January, coming “within a whisker” of widespread outages, according to the National Grid. On multiple occasions, Britain’s grid operators scrambled to stabilize the system as freezing temperatures coincided with a prolonged drop in wind power generation.

Wind turbines, which typically supply nearly half of Britain’s electricity, failed to deliver as winds died down during critical periods. This left the country teetering on the edge of disaster, relying on last-minute imports and emergency measures to keep the lights on.

Adding insult to injury, the U.K.’s gas storage capacity proved woefully inadequate. Despite warnings about low reserves, the country remains ill-prepared to meet sudden spikes in heating demand. With gas prices spiking and domestic production insufficient, Britain has now turned to expensive imports, driving energy bills to astronomical levels.

The U.K. now holds the dubious title of having the highest electricity prices in the world — a burden that is crushing households and businesses alike. Millions are struggling to pay their energy bills, forcing many to choose between heating and other essentials.

Germany’s “Dunkelflaute” Reality

Germany’s situation is equally concerning. The country’s Energiewende (energy transition) policy has made it heavily reliant on wind power and susceptible to “dunkelflaute” — weather conditions characterized by low wind and solar output.

As unreliable sources faltered, Germany was forced to ramp up oil-fired power generation, driving short-term electricity prices to record highs. In December, gas-fired generation surged to levels not seen in years, while output of wind turbines plunged to historic lows.

Energy experts warned that the country’s reliance on intermittent solar and wind is unsustainable. Moreover, Germany’s decision to phase out nuclear power has left a gaping hole in its energy mix. Once a cornerstone, nuclear power has been replaced by a patchwork of wind, solar, and fossil fuels.

Germany’s ambitious energy transition has become a cautionary tale for the world. High electricity prices have eroded the competitiveness of its industries, sending them toward oblivion.

Flawed Assumptions

The root of Europe’s energy woes lies in the flawed assumption that “green” technologies can reliably replace fossil fuels. One wonders if European planners also assumed milder winters because of their predictions of global warming.

In any case, the continued need for reliable heating during cold snaps highlights the dangers of planning critical infrastructure around uncertain — even bogus — projections about the weather and capabilities of “green” energy.

Particularly frustrating is that these difficulties were foreseeable and preventable. A resilient power grid must be prepared for a range of weather conditions, including extended periods of cold with minimal wind and little sunshine.

Traditional power systems, built around controllable — rather than weather-dependent — generation sources like coal, nuclear, and natural gas, are relatively straightforward to operate. In contrast, “green” grids require sophisticated forecasting, complex backup arrangements, and extensive international interconnections to maintain stability. This complexity not only increases costs but also introduces additional opportunities for failure.

By clinging to the fantasy of 100% renewables, Europe risks condemning itself to an era of energy insecurity and economic decline. Physical reality always asserts itself eventually, and the costs of ignoring it fall most heavily on those least able to bear them — people forced to choose between paying for electricity, food, and shelter.

The mistakes of the U.K. and Germany this winter serve as a wakeup call for policymakers worldwide as they consider their own energy policies.

Sex allegations against German Greens MP Gelbhaar ‘fabricated’, news outlet admits

Allegations of sexual misconduct against German Greens MP Stefan Gelbhaar have been retracted after a news outlet that published them admitted they were probably fabricated.

In December last year, Gelbhaar was forced to withdraw his candidacy for the Greens in the Berlin State elections – despite having all but secured sufficient votes – amid reports of alleged sexual harassment.

Yet, on January 16, news outlet Rundfunk Berlin-Brandenburg (RBB), which had published the accusations against Gelbhaar, retracted its reporting after admitting a key piece of evidence, a supposed affidavit from a relevant person, was likely fabricated.

On January 18, RBB‘s chief editor David Biesinger officially acknowledged what he termed the broadcaster’s mistakes.

Gelbhaar has made a criminal complaint against unknown persons for alleged defamation.

Also on January 18, Shirin Kreße, Berlin district parliamentary group leader of the Greens and part of its progressive wing, announced her resignation from the party, reportedly over the suspected fake allegations against Gelbhaar.

Initially, at the end of last year, several women had told RRB, some anonymously and some speaking under oath, that they had been harassed by Gelbhaar, who has always denied all accusations.

One allegation was that he undressed a woman in her apartment in late November 2023 after accompanying her home from a party event. The woman suspected her drink had been tampered with.

Another woman reported that Gelbhaar had allegedly touched her inappropriately on her way home from an event.

On January 17, RBB retracted its reporting of the events.

“An informant apparently pretended to be a person who does not exist,” it said.

“Doubts arose about the affidavit of the informant ‘Anne K’ when she could no longer be reached by RBB a few days ago,” the news portal stated.

“After further research, there is now a suspicion that a Greens district politician had pretended to be Anne K. She denies all allegations. The RBB has filed a criminal complaint against the district politician.”

According to the newspaper Tagesspiegel, a certain “Anne K” had submitted an affidavit to RBB but claimed the broadcaster had not checked it sufficiently. RBB‘s legal department had, though, reportedly approved all reports on the allegations.

Tagesspiegel said it had been pressing the matter since January 17 but RBB had refused to give answers.

According to the newspaper, the anonymous accusations were allegedly spread by Kreße, including those by the “person” known as Anne K.

In a response to the Tagesspiegel reports, RBB editor-in-chief David Biesinger said: “We as RBB made a mistake in the research. Journalistic standards have not been fully complied with. The identity behind the affidavit has not been sufficiently verified by the editors.”

The Greens leadership addressed the issue on January 20. Party leaders Franziska Brantner and Felix Banaszak faced the press after delaying the conference by an hour, citing extended board discussions.

Banaszak said he was “personally affected and shocked”, condemning what he said was behaviour “marked by criminal energy and infamy” as unacceptable in the party.

Brantner said the Greens’ federal executive committee now wanted to press criminal charges – against Kreße and other unnamed persons.

The pair announced that the party’s ombudsman’s office would look into further statements made by seven unnamed individuals.

Later on January 20, Habeck described the whole affair as “serious and shocking”.

“It is imperative that what actually happened is clarified quickly and ruthlessly and that the consequences are drawn,” he said.

“This is exactly what the federal association has set itself as a high priority,” he stated, adding that the party executive was “completely on it”.

Why are Dutch police protecting a sexual assault suspect’s identity?

Six moths after a Dutch woman was sexually assaulted in her own bedroom after being awoken by her attacker, the police are finally releasing a video of the suspect. Now, they are already requesting everyone delete his photo and say they have also deleted a copy of his photo, despite the man not having been apprehended.

The woman was sleeping in her room on June 21, 2024, in Tuinstraet in Groningen in the Netherlands when a “dark-skinned” man forced his way into her home. The man appeared near her bed at 10:00 a.m. and was caught by surveillance riding his red bicycle around the same time of the attack in the vicinity of the house.

The victim suddenly woke up and saw the man standing in her bedroom.

“The woman told the man to leave the house immediately. Eventually, the man left, but before he left the house, he groped the young woman,” the police report stated.

In a bizarre message from the police after posting the man’s photo, they are now calling for everyone to delete the photo.

“We have received several valuable tips in the investigation into the intrusion and assault in Tuinstraat in #Groningen, last June. For that reason, we have deleted the images of the suspect. The investigation continues,” the police wrote. They then added in a subsequent post: “We request everyone who shared the images to delete them. Thanks for your thoughts and any tips.”

Notably, the police have not said they actually found the man yet, only that the investigation “continues.”

The suspect is described as being between 22 and 29 years old, was wearing long light-blue pants and had a black bag. He was spotted in the area around Poelstraat before the attack.

The video footage release, coming about half a year after the attack, mirrors other incidents across Europe when police wait sometimes nearly a year after an attack to release footage of a suspect. Part of the reason is that Europe has strong safeguards on privacy, which are designed to protect people who are not accused of any crime.

In one case, the police waited 11 months to release the photo of a Black male suspect who raped a woman in Darmstadt, Germany. In another case, police waited eight months to release the photo of a Turkish-speaking man who tried to rape a woman in Berlin

Notably, German media outlets were quick to run a video of German teenagers, none of whom had been accused of any crime, who were singing the infamous “Auslander Raus” song at a private party on the island of Sylt. The video had tremendous consequences and effectively ruined the lives of the young teens involved. To date, none of them have been convicted of any crime.

Muslim Terrorist Who Killed Little Girls Was Referred 3X to UK Anti-Radicalization Authorities: They knew. They lied. And arrested those who told the truth

The story of Axel Rudakubana is important because the authorities not only denied he was a terrorist, they denied he was Muslim. The Starmer regime unleashed a ruthless crackdown on the native population, arresting people for simply saying on the internet that he was a Muslim terrorist.

And not only was Axel Rudakubana a Muslim terrorist, but he had been repeatedly reported to authorities.

The teenager who murdered three young girls at a dance class in Southport was referred three times to Prevent, the government’s scheme to stop terrorist violence, the Guardian has learned.

One of the referrals followed concerns about Axel Rudakubana’s potential interest in the killing of children in a school massacre, it is understood.

His behaviour, including his apparent interest in violence, was assessed by Prevent as potentially concerning. But he was deemed not to be motivated by a terrorist ideology or pose a terrorist danger and was therefore not considered suitable for the counter-radicalisation scheme.

Rudakubana, who was 17 at the time of the Southport attack last summer, was first referred to Prevent in 2019 when he was 13. A further two referrals were made in 2021, all when he was a schoolchild living in Lancashire.

In July, Rudakubana attacked a dance class, killing three girls aged nine, seven and six, and wounding eight more children as well as two adults. On Monday, he pleaded guilty to murder and attempted murder.

On Monday he pleaded guilty to a terrorism offence, possessing a document called Military Studies in the Jihad Against the Tyrants – the al-Qaida Training Manual, and also to producing the biological toxin ricin.

The authorities knew he was a Muslim terrorist. They knew it for a long time. They not only lied, they arrested people for saying so because they were complicit in it.

Now PM Keir Starmer is promising that “Britain will rightly demand answers, and we will leave no stone unturned in that pursuit,”

The answers should begin with why he and government authorities lied, with accountability for those who unleashed the wave of arrests in the cover-up of these murders and Starmer leaving office.

Asylum Chaos: Netherlands Pays Migrants €36.8M in Penalties

Photo: Donald Trung Quoc Don (Chữ Hán: 徵國單)  CC BY-SA 4.0 , via Wikimedia Commons

The Dutch Immigration and Naturalisation Service (IND) paid a staggering €36.8 million in penalties to migrants last year due to delays in processing asylum applications. This figure is over three times the €11 million paid out in 2023, highlighting the worsening crisis in the nation’s asylum system.

According to figures reported by De Telegraaf, the IND’s inability to meet deadlines has led to nearly 30,000 migrants successfully claiming penalty payments, usually capped at €7,500 per person. Critics, including the IND itself, argue that these penalties do not speed up processing times and only worsen the backlog, which now exceeds 51,000 cases. The IND stated

We have been advocating for some time to abolish judicial penalties, so we can focus entirely on processing new applications.

Adding to the strain is a surge in family reunification requests, with over 75,000 individuals waiting for decisions and average processing times stretching from 70 to 84 weeks. Despite these delays, 86% of family reunification requests were approved in 2024, raising concerns about whether the system is encouraging dependency rather than integration.

Meanwhile, the Dutch population reached a record 18 million last year, with immigration driving the increase. Geert Wilders, leader of the Party for Freedom (PVV) which heads a right-wing coalition government, criticised the rapid population growth, stating

18 million people on a small piece of land… While there is a huge shortage of housing, healthcare, police. Crazy.

The government has introduced measures to address these challenges, including plans for stricter border controls under Schengen rules. Set to last six months, these controls aim to combat so-called irregular migration and smuggling without disrupting commuter traffic.

Despite these measures, the Dutch immigration system appears to be at a breaking point. Without substantive reforms, the financial and societal costs are likely to grow, deepening public discontent and straining resources in an already densely populated nation.
