What has happened over the last few days has been nothing short of extraordinary. Tech mogul Elon Musk has engaged in a vocal critique of British Prime Minister Keir Starmer and Britain’s Labour Government (see British Conservatives Have Worst Election in 190 Years; Labor’s Keir Starmer Is the New Prime Minister – RedState) over its incredibly ham-handed handling of substantiated reports that rape gangs victimized tens of thousands of British girls for years and the gangs were protected by police and local authorities because of fear of ethnic turmoil; see Rotherham and the failure of multiculturalism – RedState, Silencing The Other – RedState

A series of utter[ly] horrific revelations we learned of young girls being returned to their rapists by police and of fathers being arrested for trying to rescue their daughters.

It is a shame so many care so little about victims in Britain or the U.S. How does George Soros get a Medal of Freedom award when he works so hard to let dangerous criminals roam the streets?

It’s just another example of the media, politicians, and others covering up abuses and looking the other way when the truth is inconvenient to their agenda.

The Catholic church covered up horrendous acts of priests because they didn’t want the public to know. 

The media and others worked very hard to block the public from learning that Planned Parenthood committed the horrific act of selling body parts. Instead of caring about the murdered babies, the people who exposed the despicable practice were prosecuted for invasion of privacy.

How many people was ABC trying to protect when its executives blocked the public from seeing a report about the despicable acts of Jeffrey Epstein?

Leaked footage shows a US TV anchor complaining that editors ‘quashed’ a story about paedophile Jeffrey Epstein due to pressure from the Royal Family.

ABC’s Amy Robach is seen in the clip griping that her interview with an alleged victim of Epstein and Prince Andrew never made it to air.

‘The Palace found out and threatened us a million different ways,’ she says.

The Justice Department also didn’t care much. They certainly didn’t care about all the girls that were harmed by Epstein and others.

How many supposed journalists and other Democrats didn’t care and covered up for Bill and Hillary for decades no matter how many women they physically and mentally abused and sought to destroy while they pretended they were great people and cared about women?

The media and others clearly knew about P. Diddy for decades, just like they knew about Epstein, and hid the truth from the public. Who are they protecting?

The media, Justice Department and others have known about the corruption of Joe Biden yet they intentionally hid the truth from the public in 2020 in order to interfere in the election. It is no wonder that there is so much political corruption and that the public doesn’t trust the media or the Justice system when you have these intentional cover ups.

Imams are still actively promoting grooming rings, Dr Taj Hargey from the Oxford Institute for British Islam has said on GB News.

The group’s founder made a series of staggering claims 11 years after he first raised concerns about race and religion being inextricably linked to grooming rings in Britain.

Speaking to Martin Daubney in an interview you can watch above, Hargey said his warnings are yet to be heeded amid renewed calls for a national inquiry into grooming gangs.

After a spate of grooming rings in Oxford where Muslim men targeted under-age white girls, Hargey told the Daily Mail in 2013 that the activities of the sex ring were “bound up with religion and race” because all the men – though of different nationalities – were Muslim.

He said they “deliberately targeted vulnerable white girls, whom they appeared to regard as ‘easy meat’, to use one of their revealing, racist phrases”.

Speaking 11 years on, Hargey was asked by Daubney if imams are actively encouraging the attitude, to which he claimed “absolutely”.

“There’s a perpetuation of ‘them and us’”, he told GB News.

“The theology from the Mosque and the elders is to perpetuate this idea of ‘them and us’.

“The criminality is fuelled by the ideology of the Islamic fundamentalism which has no basis in the Qu’ran.

“These fundamentalist Muslims believe If the Prophet Muhammad can sleep with a nine-year-old, what’s wrong with me sleeping with a 12-year-old?’, even though the story is not true.

“The idea is, when you can delegitimise these youngsters as being less than human and being less than equal and for you to do whatever you please, that is the basis for these men to act like that.

“There is this ideology, this interpretation of Islam which makes this possible.

“Why is virtually every single person in these grooming gangs Muslim? It seems like 95 per cent of them are. We need to look at the interconnection between Islam, promoted by the clergy and the establishment in the UK, because Islam is not promoting this reprehensible behaviour.”

Dr Hargey’s remarks come amid a blistering political fallout in the UK over Safeguarding Minister Jess Phillips’ decision not to launch an inquiry.

The Labour Government insist a new inquiry would slow down measures in the pipeline designed to support vulnerable youngsters.

But pressure has been mounted by the likes of Elon Musk, who has posted hundreds of messages about the issue on his X platform since New Year’s Day.

Labour has accused the Conservatives of “political opportunism”, with Education Minister Bridget Phillipson warning the intervention risks sacrificing crucial child safeguarding legislation.

Professor Alexis Jay, who led the 2014 Rotherham investigation and chaired the national inquiry that reported in 2022, has strongly rejected calls for further inquiries.

“I think that the time has passed for more inquiries. We’ve had enough of inquiries, consultations and discussions,” she told BBC Radio 4’s Today programme.

She emphasised that action is needed instead of more investigations, particularly for victims who have come forward.

“We have set out what action is required and people should just get on with it. Locally and nationally,” Prof Jay said.

She noted that while recent attention to the issue was welcome, the focus should be on implementing existing recommendations.

After decades of sweeping under the rug the massive tragedy of millions of raped and trafficked girls by Muslim grooming gangs, it did seem that now, with all the international pressure we are applying, this issue would be investigated as thoroughly as it should.

But, no – Labour MPs have voted to block a national inquiry into the grooming gangs.

The weak Conservatives did what they do: complain.

Tories accused Starmer of using his ‘supermajority’ to block the inquiry.

We will not let them forget this act of cowardice.”

A major German news website has attacked one of its main rivals over its competitor’s decision to publish an article written by Elon Musk.

Der Spiegel released its English-language criticism of Die Welt‘s move on January 8, alleging the publication ignored warnings from its own newsroom about releasing the opinion piece written by Musk, citing what it said were leaked emails.

According to Der Spiegel, the emails revealed that journalists at Die Welt viewed the Musk article as “propaganda” for the Alternative for Germany (AfD) party, the right-wing political group currently holding second place in the latest German polls.

Der Spiegel article went on to suggest that — despite claims to the contrary made by those working with Die Welt — it was the CEO of parent company Axel Springer, Mathias Döpfner, who gave Musk the opportunity to have his piece published in the newspaper’s flagship Sunday edition on January 5.

Justifying the claim, Der Spiegel said “many people” inside Die Welt believed he was responsible, although the article did not provide any evidence for that.

It added that Döpfner did an interview with Musk in 2020 that the news group deemed constituted “flirtatious fawning”, characterising the CEO as a “Musk acolyte”.

Der Spiegel also alleged that Döpfner had right-wing views more broadly and was pro-free speech.

It added that it believed Die Welt appeared to be moving to the Right on certain issues. It also claimed the publication was looking to merge some of its operations with the German-language editions of fellow Axel Springer-owned publications Politico and Business Insider.

Brussels Signal approached Die Welt for comment but none had been received at the time of writing.

The Musk piece seemed to mark the latest example of German journalists’ infighting following the publication of an article by the US tech billionaire in December. Die Welt‘s Comment Editor Eva Marie Kogel resigned shortly after it was released.

Politicians in Germany expressed outrage at the latest incident, with one senior member of the ruling Social Democrats describing the paper’s decision to publish Musk’s pro-AfD article as “shameful and dangerous”.

On Sunday, the people of the rural Austrian state of Carinthia will vote in a referendum on whether to ban the construction of wind turbines on the region’s mountains and alpine pastures.

The outcome, while not legally binding, has ignited a heated debate over environmental preservation and the future of renewable energy in the state.

The referendum, initiated by the Freedom Party of Austria (FPÖ) and supported by some members of the populist Team Carinthia, asks citizens: “Should the construction of additional wind turbines on mountains and alpine pastures in Carinthia be prohibited by state law in order to protect Carinthia’s nature (including the landscape)?”

Proponents have framed the vote as a chance to preserve Carinthia’s pristine mountain landscapes, while those against it argue the move threatens to stall the region’s energy transition and attempts to combat climate change.

FPÖ state leader Erwin Angerer has been vocal in his opposition to further wind power development, warning of the “destruction of the homeland and landscape” that he says would result from new wind turbines. He likened the potential impact to the overdevelopment of Carinthia’s lakeshores in recent decades, calling on voters to protect the state’s unspoiled mountain scenery.

“Nobody can legally force us to set up even one wind turbine in Carinthia. We are completely free to decide how we generate our energy,” he said, as cited by the Exxpress newspaper.

While the FPÖ staunchly opposes wind power expansion in Carinthia, other parties and groups have defended the plans. Green Party state leader Olga Voglauer accused the FPÖ and Team Carinthia of “sacrificing the energy transition with their biased referendum for party political propaganda.”

“Wind turbines should be erected where they belong: on flat, windy areas or in coastal regions, but not on our mountains and alpine pastures,” countered Angerer.

Team Carinthia leader Gerhard Köfer emphasized the importance of citizen participation in the decision. While not outright opposing wind power, the party advocates for controlled development, supporting only advanced projects and rejecting what it calls “uncontrolled expansion.”

The referendum has cost the FPÖ approximately €100,000 in campaigning, highlighting the significance of the issue to the party.

Regardless of the result, Köfer stated that the referendum is evidence of successful direct democracy, enabling voters to have a greater say in the issues that affect them and the place they live.

“The Carinthian population should have the opportunity to decide for themselves whether or not further wind turbines should be erected on mountains and alpine pastures in Carinthia,” he added.

Jimmy Carter made history by becoming the only president to offer a pardon to a child sex abuser. The abuser was Peter Yarrow from Peter, Paul and Mary.

Carter did not contact the victim, who was barely 14 at the time, before issuing his pardon to the lefty folk singer.

Since then at least one more victim has come forward. A lawsuit claimed that other members of the group “knew that Yarrow liked to have sexual intercourse with and perform other sex acts on minor children.”

While presidents do have a great deal of pardon power, at least in this world all pardons have been withdrawn.

Eight days after Carter went to his reward, Peter Yarrow followed him. The obituaries keep referring to Yarrow as a “social activist” which is apparently college slang for child sex abuser. But those same obituaries also praised Carter for his decency which is apparently media slang for enabling child sex abusers.

It’s bound to be a great reunion down there between the child molester and his presidential enabler.

French Minister of Interior Bruno Retailleau has targeted what he referred to as “political Islam”, calling for a ban the Islamic veil in French higher-education.

He told Le Parisien on January 6 that “France could be hit again” by a terrorist attack and said he was making “the fight against Les Frères Musulmans [Muslim Brotherhood] and Islamism one of his ‘top priorities’”.

To do that, Retailleau said he wanted to increase the scope of secularism by extending the ban on Islam beyond French elementary and middle schools through widening the scope of a 2004 law that banned religious symbols in such establishments.

According to the minister, the banning of religious symbols should also apply to school outings and chaperones as they were an extension of classrooms and universities.

“The veil is not merely a piece of fabric; it is a banner for Islamism and a symbol of the subjugation of women to men,” he alleged.

Retailleau’s idea to extend the scope of the 2004 law is not new. In 2013, the French Council of State argued that chaperones for school outings were not considered civil servants and were therefore not subject to the principle of religious neutrality.

During his interview, he assured Muslim citizens that the French Government was “not fighting against their religion, which is disfigured by Islamism, but against a political ideology that disfigures their religion”.

For Retailleau, political Islam threatens France’s institutions and national cohesion.

He accused the Muslim Brotherhood — a transnational Islamist organisation– of undermining France’s institutions and national cohesion to ultimately impose Sharia law.

“This is a slow conquest strategy, seeking to infiltrate all sectors of society — religious, cultural, sports, social, municipal, and so on” he claimed.

Retailleau also targeted immigration as part of the problem.

“Opening the doors to uncontrolled immigration from an Arab-Muslim geographical area where Islam has become radicalised has had consequences,” he said.

“This phenomenon has encouraged the creation of Islamist enclaves, where young girls are veiled and our Jewish compatriots are targeted.”

Following a report to the Direction départementale de la protection des populations (DDPP), a butcher’s shop in Bobigny, Seine-Saint-Denis, France, was inspected on December 31. The findings: thirteen breaches of health regulations were identified and the prefectural services decided to close the shop immediately on January 3, as reported by the newspaper Le Parisien.

The shop, which described itself as ‘100% halal’, sold meat from wild boar. ‘Fourteen wild boar carcasses and several pieces of vacuum-packed wild boar meat were found in a cold room,’ the prefecture of Seine-Saint-Denis told our journalists.
Customers are astonished and angry. They assure us that the butcher’s shop had never mentioned the sale of wild boar in its displays. Some regretted the closure of the butcher’s shop, others pointed out the unhygienic conditions on the premises.
The butcher’s shop, which also offered a restaurant and parcel service, had already been reported twice for health defects. In December, the inspectors found in particular the presence of pests, a ‘lack of manual hygiene’ and poor handling of the cold chain.

The butcher’s shop will remain closed until further notice until measures are taken to rectify the deficiencies.

Jean Marie Le-Pen has died at the age of 96.

A former paratrooper who fought in multiple conflicts, Le-Pen led France’s National Front from 1972 to 2011 and contested dozens of local and national elections.

In 2002, he made the run-off in France’s presidential election but was ultimately defeated handily by former president Jacques Chiraq.

In a statement on Tuesday, the Le Pen family said that he had been in a care facility for several weeks and passed away “surrounded by his loved ones.”

Le Pen’s daughter, Marine, took over from her father as party leader in 2011, cementing the family name in French political life.

Under her leadership, Marine rebranded the party as the National Rally and moderated its more extremist tendencies, turning it into one of the country’s most powerful political forces.

The National Rally paid tribute to their former leader on X, describing him as a “visionary” who had helped define France’s political landscape.

Europe’s elites are visibly shaken by the fact that yet another democratically elected right-wing government will upset the balance of power and challenge liberal leaders on their failed policies.

“Barbarians at Europe’s gate”; a “pro-Russian axis”; and “demolishing democracy”—comments from Western European liberal politicians and their affiliated media paint the imminent rise to power of the Austrian right-wing Freedom Party (FPÖ) as the emergence of tyrannical rule, with Europe at risk of descending into the Middle Ages.

FPÖ’s leader Herbert Kickl was tasked with forming a government on Monday, January 6th. It is expected that his party will enter into a coalition with the centre-right People’s Party (ÖVP). Austrians clearly want a change—that is why more than half of them voted for a two-party conservative government that would be tough on immigration, crack down on crime, repair the economy, and get rid of the ridiculous climate policies imposed by the EU.

An FPÖ-led government will join the ranks of Viktor Orbán in Hungary, Giorgia Meloni in Italy, Robert Fico in Slovakia, and the Geert Wilders-led cabinet in the Netherlands as part of a new wave of patriotic leadership in Europe. These leaders aim to defend their respective countries’ sovereignty and work together to push back against Brussels’ centralization plans and ideological overreach. And this is what is scaring the political establishment in Europe as they see a rise in patriotic parties all across the continent.

Western European politicians and their affiliated media have already started to sound the alarm bells over Herbert Kickl’s imminent rise to the position of chancellor.

In Germany, where another right-wing anti-globalist party, the Alternative für Deutschland (AfD) is on course to finish second in February’s national elections, Lars Klingbeil, the co-leader of the Social Democratic Party (SPD), called the FPÖ “right-wing extremist” and Kickl Russian president “Putin’s friend.” Klingbeil called on the German Christian Democrats (CDU) to distance themselves from their Austrian counterpart, ÖVP, for agreeing to form a coalition with Kickl.

Under its previous leader Karl Nehammer, the ÖVP, along with all other Austrian parties, had refused to cooperate with the FPÖ. A similar cordon sanitaire exists in Germany, where the AfD is vilified and isolated by all the other parties.

“Conservatives would rather govern with fascists in Austria than tax the super-rich,” moaned another German party, the far-left Die Linke, which criticised the ÖVP for not being willing to reach a coalition deal with the Austrian Social Democrats who wanted to introduce new taxes on wealth and inheritance.

The German Green Party’s nominee for chancellor, Robert Habeck, also warned that what is happening in Austria should never be repeated in Germany—namely, a deal with the AfD.

Another Green politician, a regular, outspoken critic of Viktor Orbán, MEP Daniel Freund, warned that if Kickl goes down the path of Orbán and “demolishes democracy,” there will be no more EU funding for Austria. Both Hungary and the previous conservative government of Poland were denied EU funds under a rule-of-law pretext, and the nationalist Slovakian government has also been threatened with similar action if it doesn’t adhere to ‘EU values.’

A high-ranking politician from the centre-right Christian Social Union (CSU), Alexander Dobrindt, gave a more sobering assessment of the situation in Austria, saying that “radical parties” are “increasingly capable of winning a majority,” and that that should be a warning sign for the parties of the centre that they have failed in their policies.

The liberal media is also up in arms. Brussels insider Euractiv is panicking about the rise of the FPÖ, “one of the most potent anti-immigrant, pro-Russian parties in Europe,” warning that “Austrian barbarians” are “at Europe’s gate.” The article adds that it “will become much more difficult” to maintain a cordon sanitaire around “extremists” when they begin winning elections, just like the FPÖ has done in Austria.

One would of course assume that winning elections in a democracy is a reflection of the will of the electorate, and empowers the winning party to try and form a government—but the liberal media seem to think otherwise.

A similar interpretation was provided by another Brussels outlet, EUobserver, which says that “in the end, mainstream parties once again paved the way for the far-right to power.” In other words: establishment parties were right to block the victorious party from entering government.

The EU institutions’ favourite Brussels media outlet Politico says it is “bad news for Europe” that “together with Orbán and Fico, Kickl is likely to block key EU initiatives—from the Green Deal to migration to Ukraine.” Evidently, standing up for their country’s national interests, and vetoing EU decisions they perceive to be harmful is something that European governments shouldn’t be doing, according to the elites in Brussels.
