Federal Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock (Greens) has refused to reveal the names of the guests she invited to a secret dinner. She did not answer a parliamentary question from CDU member of parliament Gitta Connemann.
The dinner with anti-Israel activists took place on September 12. It became public due to the indiscretion of participants. The pro-Palestinian activists Alena Jabarine and Emilia Roig had posted photos of the event on Instagram and the Federal Foreign Office has now only stated that the dinner cost 1,859.50 euros. The aim of the dinner was to ‘represent a broad spectrum of opinions’. The minister’s office, the planning staff and several departments were involved in the ‘preparation and follow-up work’, as the Bild newspaper quotes from the reply.
Connemann told the newspaper: ‘What is the Foreign Minister afraid of? She refuses to provide information about the guests. This is not about a private dinner, but about a dinner at the taxpayer’s expense. The public has the right to transparency.’
The CDU/CSU parliamentary group believes that parliament’s statutory right to information has been violated because Baerbock does not name her guests. Parliamentary Secretary Thorsten Frei has now written to Federal Chancellor Olaf Scholz (SPD) to complain about the Foreign Minister: ‘This behaviour does not meet the requirements of proper handling of the parliamentary right to question.

A 22-year-old Egyptian man was arrested in Bergamo Friday for allegedly preaching terror on the Web and planning to blow up a church in the centre of the Lombardy city. The man, who has not been named, posted photos of himself armed and ready for action against the “infidels”. He said he belonged to the terror group Islamic State Khorasan Province (ISKP). The man was arrested by DIGOS special branch security police from Brescia and Bergamo for apology of terrorism.

The imprisonment rate for foreign nationals is 27 per cent higher than British citizens, according to an analysis of data from the government.
A project to create the first “league table of criminality by nationality” conducted by The Telegraph newspaper analysed the number of people in jail by the passport they hold and compared that with 2021 Census data to create a picture of the likelihood of criminality of various ethnic groups in Britain.
The analysis found that there were 18.2 prisoners per 10,000 migrants living in Britain compared to 14 out of 10,000 UK citizens, meaning that foreigners have a 27 per cent higher imprisonment rate. However, the differences become more stark when looking at specific ethnicities.
By far and away, Albanian migrants were the most likely to be imprisoned, with a rate of 232.33 out of 10,000 people, or one in 50. Second on the list was people from Kosovo at 150.23 per 10,000, followed by Vietnamese (148.88), Algerians (124.41), Jamaicans (110.77), Eritreans (110.7), Iraqis (104.43), and Somalis (100.37). The figures mean that such ethnicities are at least seven times more prone to be imprisoned than British citizens.
There are some ethnicities which actually fare better than the native population in terms of avoiding criminality, however, with people from Germany being the least likely to be imrpisoned of any group at just 4.68 per 10,000. This was followed by migrants from Italy (4.96), India (6.24), Greece (6.36), US (7.27), Sri Lanka (8.17), France (8.64), and China (9.39).
The findings have led some to suggest that the government tailor its immigration policies by curtailing inflows from countries with populations which have a higher likelihood of criminality.
Conservative leadership candidate and former immigration minister Robert Jenrick said: “This analysis confirms what the public will have sensed for a long time: some nationalities are more likely to go on to commit serious crimes than others. It once again points to the need for a far more tightly controlled immigration system, including more rigorous security checks for nationalities linked to criminality in the UK.”
The project conducted by the British newspaper has also led to redoubled demands that the UK government finally begin to release full statistics on migrants and crime.
Leading the charge has been Conservative MP Neil O’Brien, who previously introduced legislation that would have required the government to publish the asylum and visa status as well as nationality of every criminal convicted over the previous year.
“It is shameful that the Government refuses to publish so much of the information which it holds about this subject. It should be available to the public so we can have an informed debate,” he said.
“The Home Office knows the immigration status of prisoners and whether they were here legally or illegally, but it does not publish this. It knows about the offending history of overseas nationals in our prisons and whether they are committing multiple offences but it does not publish this.
“Across the board, the migration debate is hampered by a lack of data which the Government could easily publish but chooses not to on things like the impact on public services and spending. The data the Government is refusing to disclose on criminal justice is a particularly bad example of this.”
A government spokesman said: “This Government is committed to delivering justice for victims and safer streets for our communities. Foreign nationals who commit crime should be in no doubt that the law will be enforced and, where appropriate, we will pursue their deportation.”

What is that ‘One Year of Resistance’? Why are there rallies on the anniversary of the worst Islamic massacre of Jews in centuries?
The media nods along and labels them as protest rallies against the war. But they’re not protesting the Hamas massacre of Israelis.
They’re protesting against Israel fighting back.
Rather than reporting this the media even adopts the terrorist vocabulary using terms like “Resistance” to whitewash and even glamorize Islamic terrorism.
These rallies are not anti-war, they’re pro-war. It’s another reason they keep using “flood” names.

A rational case can be made on the appropriateness of allowing people suffering from terminal illnesses to choose to ‘die with dignity.’ However, experience shows us that these policies rapidly progress in a way in which the thresholds are progressively lowered until we come to a point, like in Canada, where a disabled female veteran called the Health service to demand treatment, and the operator SUGGESTED that she opt for assisted suicide instead.
It is also clear that this measure is another devilish way of saving money destined for pensions.

On Thursday morning, several Syrian course participants got into a heated argument at a language course centre in Vienna’s Favoriten district. The argument was triggered by a 29-year-old course participant who had repeatedly approached the 16-year-old daughter of a Syrian family in an intrusive manner. The girl’s mother (33) did not want to accept this and asked a friend of hers (23) to confront the man, but the situation escalated: instead of a clarifying conversation, a fight broke out. The 29-year-old punched the 23-year-old hard in the face, to which he responded with a heavy kick. The attack was so severe that the 23-year-old had to be taken to hospital. The 16-year-old’s mother also suffered a swollen lip during the commotion, and just as the police were calming the situation, the 36-year-old father and the 15-year-old brother of the teenage girl suddenly appeared in the classroom building. The younger brother immediately became aggressive towards the officers, while the father suddenly attacked a policewoman who intervened. The 36-year-old was eventually arrested on suspicion of attempted grievous bodily harm and resisting arrest.
The 15-year-old brother, on the other hand, was charged under administrative law. After the incident, the language lessons were initially ended prematurely for the students involved.
