Trans-Identified Male Convicted of Beating Woman to Death with a Hammer Transferred into NJ Women’s Prison

Reduxx has learned that a man serving a 30-year sentence for the fatal beating of a 55-year old woman has quietly been transferred into New Jersey’s Edna Mahan Correctional Facility for Women. Elliot Rivera Jr., 35, now calls himself Jamie Belladonna and is described as “female” within the state Department of Corrections (DOC) system.

Rivera’s total prison term amounts to 40 years, to be run concurrently, on the basis of two convictions. In November 2011, he was sentenced to a mandatory minimum term of 30 years for the 2009 murder of Patricia Cantaloupe. In a separate case, Rivera was sentenced to 10 years in prison for carjacking a 57 year-old woman in the parking lot of a supermarket on February 26, 2010.

On July 31, 2009, an investigation was conducted into the death of 55 year-old Cantaloupe after a building maintenance supervisor reported an unusual smell coming from her residence. The homicide investigation, led by Sgt. Thomas Cassidy of the Sayreville Police Department and investigator Scott Crocco of the Middlesex County Prosecutor’s Office revealed that Cantaloupe had been struck multiple times in the head and died from blunt force trauma. An autopsy report identified the weapon used to bludgeon the woman to death as a hammer.

On March 4, 2010, Rivera was charged with accosting and carjacking a 57 year-old woman’s vehicle, and he was arrested by Spotswood police.

The slain woman had also been robbed, and reports from The Central New Jersey News state that law enforcement had considered Rivera a suspect in Cantaloupe’s homicide “within days” of conducting the investigation.

‘Jamie Belladonna’, aka Elliot Rivera

Nicholas Sewitch, assistant Middlesex County Prosecutor, said detectives focused on Rivera, formerly an acquaintance of the victim, early on in the investigation. “It was always, ‘Where is Elliot Rivera and what is he doing?’” Sewitch told the press. Evidence needed to charge him with the murder was discovered hours after his arrest for the carjacking, though Sewitch declined to give further details to the news outlet at the time.

Since 2011, Rivera had been serving his sentence in the New Jersey State Prison (NJSP) in Trenton. In February 2023, independent news site The Appeal reported sympathetically on Rivera’s situation as a “trans woman” who was unjustly incarcerated in a men’s facility.

After communicating with Rivera via email, The Appeal reported that “she attempted to remove her testicles after officials denied her request to move to Edna Mahan”. According to statements made by Rivera to the outlet, in the process of mutilating his genitals, the convicted killer cut an artery. He claimed that he required emergency medical attention as a result, but the DOC declined to comment on the matter.

“Because of how hurtful the language was to me with this denial, the next day I was set to mutilate this crap that I’ve been begging to have removed for a whole year,” Rivera wrote. “But no one took me serious & then to deny me saying the main reason is the very thing I’ve been begging to have removed.”

In October 2022, New Jersey lawmakers amended the DOC prison policy in order to allow officials to override the housing preferences of trans, nonbinary, or intersex prisoners. Previous policy gave prisoners the “presumption” to be housed according to their self-declared gender identity.

The decision was made after the widely-publicized case of Demetrius ‘Demi’ Minor, a trans-identified male transfer into EMCF who impregnated two female inmates and had been trying to have sexual relations with the women from the moment he was transferred in.

Reduxx has previously interviewed female inmates at EMCF about the situation, who explained that following the news of the two pregnancies at the prison, Minor and four other male inmates were segregated from the female inmates and relocated to the Vulnerable Persons Unit (VPU) of EMCF. Shortly afterwards, he was transferred to a male facility at the Garden State Youth Correctional Facility.

Just like Rivera, Minor had also claimed to have mutilated his genitals by attempting to amputate his testicles with a razor, though the only evidence of this occurrence is a blog post he authored himself. “I started cutting again, and with a razor I begin making a incision to remove my testicle. In my head, I just wanted the pain to stop,” Minor wrote.

“Truthfully the one family that I had is at Edna Mahan Correctional Facility. It was a group of friends who helped me get through this pain, from being stuck in a body that I hate. I went through many depressive nights, and often wanted to be loved.”

Curiously, both Minor and Rivera have been housed in the same unit the Garden State Youth Correctional Facility, designated for “vulnerable” inmates.

In previously denying Rivera’s transfer to EMCF, officials cited “reproductive concerns,” according to The Appeal. Rivera told the outlet that he was facing “hostility” at the NJSP for men and that he was “begging” prison officials to stop calling him a man.

Rivera is also calling on the DOC to provide him with “gender-affirming” surgeries. “It is torture for me because I only have half of my bottom surgery and so I’m stuck in the room all day with this part that doesn’t belong to me,” he said.

In 2019, an ACLU lawsuit against the New Jersey Department of Corrections resulted in a settlement which required the state to allow violent male inmates to self-identify into the Edna Mahan Correctional Facility for Women. The lawsuit was launched on behalf of a trans-identified male inmate and convicted terrorist Daniel Demers, named in the court documents as “Sonia Doe.” Reduxx was the first to reveal that Demers is a vocal participant in the “adult diaper” community, a fetish subculture which involves adults dressing up and roleplaying as children during sex.

According to previous testimonies provided to Reduxx from women incarcerated at Edna Mahan, among the first men to be transferred to the prison after the ACLU was victorious in their lawsuit was a sadistic murderer who had boasted about drinking his victim’s blood.

Perry Cerf was handed a 50-year sentence in 2003 for the brutal rape and murder of a sex-trafficked woman from Ecuador. Cerf, who now goes by “Michelle Hel-loki Angelina” and is recorded as female by the DOC, had been found wearing his victim’s clothes and utilizing her identification with his photo superimposed over hers.

France: A man armed with two knives enters the entrance hall of the hospital and shouts ‘Allah Akbar’ and takes a visitor hostage

An armed person was arrested this afternoon at the hospital in Narbonne in the Aude department. The person is said to have approached the reception desk armed with several knives and shouting ‘Allah Akbar’. The man was taken outside by hospital staff. As he had a psychiatric history, he was admitted to a care facility. The incident took place in the early afternoon in Narbonne in the Aude department. A person came to the emergency room of the city’s hospital armed with several knives. The man shouted ‘Allah Akbar’ among other things, as the public prosecutor of Narbonne, Éric Camous, told France 3 Occitanie. According to our information, the person had taken one of the hospital visitors hostage. The health staff were able to get him out and closed the access to the hospital. The first signs indicate that this is a man with serious psychological problems,’ said Camous. He had previously asked his partner to accompany him to the hospital. He was in an even more unstable situation when he arrived at the emergency room, which leads us to believe that he had suffered a psychological decompensation’.

The man was initially taken into police custody and subsequently examined by a psychiatrist, who described his condition as incompatible with police custody. He was admitted to the psychiatric emergency ward.

The man, who is known to the police in particular for psychiatric disorders, is 42 years old and not a Muslim, according to the public prosecutor’s office.

The hospital staff were attended to by the police and are to be examined by a doctor. There were no injuries.

Éric Camous would like to emphasise ‘the very high level of operational readiness of the police’.

Support for terrorists, threats with a knife, refusal to visit a concentration camp: Belgian teachers report on the radicalisation of Muslim pupils

he topic is extremely sensitive. Proof of this is the fact that the people who have agreed to make a statement have requested anonymity. ‘Any wrong move can be misinterpreted. I don’t want my child’s throat to be cut,’ said Alicia, a school headmaster. ‘We’ve gotten to the point where teachers are afraid to talk about certain things. There are topics that have become taboo.’

For some years now, teachers have been observing how scientific, historical and generally accepted concepts are being rejected: Limitlessness in maths, the theory of evolution, secularism, the equality of men and women, the human body… are said to be at odds with the values of an Islam. ‘All I hear in class is ‘C’est haram’ (meaning ‘it’s forbidden’ in Arabic),’ says Maud, who has been a history teacher for 39 years. ‘Some students tell me that I have no right to talk about Islam, that I’m not authorised to talk about religion.’

The university is not spared from this phenomenon either. Recently, the rector of the VUB (Vrije Universiteit Brussel) warned about the impact of religion on Muslim students: Refusal to support the principles of the democratic rule of law, wearing short-sleeved clothing within the Health degree programme, occupying rooms to pray without permission, etc.

‘It’s intense what you sometimes hear. During the terrorist attacks, pupils clapped in class and I found the name of the Tunisian who shot two Swedes on the blackboard. Some support the behaviour of Afghans towards women,’ continues Alicia, who was called a racist by a father after she made a comment to her daughter because she was wearing the abaya, which is forbidden according to school rules. ‘I end up having to explain how to live in Belgium, which is not my job.’ When she was a teacher, she also had to deal with parents who didn’t want to send their children to her because she is blonde and blue-eyed, and experienced pressure from older children who checked whether the little ones were observing Ramadan, and the murder of Samuel Paty in France for showing a caricature of the Prophet Mohammed in class shook the world of teachers to the core. ‘Teaching has become dangerous. Even if we know our students, there is a feeling of insecurity because we don’t know if they would tell a brother, an uncle or a cousin,’ Maud points out. “My relatives have already told me that there will be a bounty for me if I continue.”

The refusal to listen to certain teachings can go as far as threats and harassment. Bernadette, an economics teacher, experienced this four years ago. ‘Several Albanian pupils asked me if I had my husband’s permission to work. Once I took a pupil out because he was disrupting the lesson. There were five of them waiting for me by my car after class and one of them pulled out a knife. I don’t know what would have happened to me if the PE teacher hadn’t turned up,’ she sighs. ’I cried before and after school. The next year, I refused to go back to school.’ Religious education teachers are not spared either.

The Israeli-Palestinian conflict has added fuel to the fire. ‘There is ignorance and prejudice. As soon as it comes to Jews and Israel, everything is hyped up, everything is manipulated because they have no idea. When I tried to explain how the state of Israel came about, I was accused of proselytising and one student threw an uncontrollable tantrum. There is no way to have an objective discourse anymore,’ says Maud, who last year had to witness how a dozen Muslim pupils refused to go on a school trip to the Fort Breendonk concentration camp. ‘They are taught to hate Jews from a very early age. That’s anti-Zionism, as they call it, and not anti-Semitism.’

In contrast to France, there are no figures in French-speaking Belgium on radical behaviour by schoolchildren in connection with religious matters. At the end of 2023, Flanders looked into the issue and found that the number of reports, statements and radical behaviour by pupils had risen from three or four per year in 2019 to three or four per day in 2023. alibre.be

French revolution? French interior minister shifts Right and wants ‘referendum on migration’

screen grab youtube

Bruno Retailleau, the new French government’s interior minister, has said he wants a revision of the country’s constitution and a referendum on migration.

In the lead-up to the parliamentary elections in France, the hard-right National Rally (RN) strongly advocated for such a referendum.

Speaking to television station LCI on October 29Retailleau seemed to adopt the RN proposal, suggesting the government shift in a big way to the Right regarding mass migration.

“Like millions of French people, I think that immigration is not an opportunity,” he said and added he wanted to mobilise “all means” to “reduce immigration in France” while admitting “there is no miracle solution.”

“The French have sent a clear signal in the elections, they want more security and less migration.”

Retailleau added it was currently constitutionally not possible to hold a referendum on the matter, something he said he deeply regretted and called for a change of the Constitution.

“Migration is a phenomenon that has turned French society upside down for the last 50 years, but the French people were never allowed to speak out over it,” he said.

Asked if his new government was at risk of getting too close to Marine Le Pen’s RN, Retailleau said the administration represented all French people and was not making distinctions between them.

“There are no first and second-class citizens,” he said and added that if 11 million people voted for something, they “need to be heard.”

Retailleau further said discussions regarding Schengen should also be on the table.

He argued that what he called the multicultural society was, in his eyes “conflictual” and potentially “multiracist.”

Additionally, the minister cautioned against what he termed the dangers of the “Anglo-Saxon multicultural model,” where communities existed side by side without integration, leading to potential “violent clashes”.

In contrast, he promoted the French Republican model, which he said emphasised transcending an individual’s origins and uniting around shared values.

Retailleau went on to defend France’s cultural heritage, describing it as “Judeo-Christian… made in Jerusalem, Athens and Rome.”

“It’s a unique civilisation, which is also European and the worst thing for me is to see this European guilty conscience when Europe is the symbol of freedom,” he said.

“How do you want to integrate young people who have doubts, telling them that France is not loveable, that it is guilty of all crimes?”

Migration has remained on top of the political agenda in France and received extra attention after the murder in early September of a French native, a 19-year-old girl named Philippine, allegedly by an illegal immigrant.

Regarding such incidents, Retailleau claimed that sometimes criminals were better protected than their victims — the “ordinary” French. He stressed there needed to be a debate about justice and the rule-of-law to address this.

Part of this equation, he added, is to send back foreign criminals to their home country.

Retailleau said he was ready to “use all levers” at his disposal and saw “no taboos” on the topic. He mentioned using visas, development aid and customs tariffs to weaponize the “balance of power” with countries in Africa and the Middle East to force them to take back their criminal countrymen.

He also said he wanted to see “reciprocity” regarding migration, where immigrants should respect the law and culture of France much more, he said, than they do currently.

Retailleau added he was in favour of systematically expelling convicted foreign criminals.

The interior minister said he would meet with his German counterpart Nancy Faeser, who is considering a model where migrants were processed abroad, similar to Italy’s Albania deal.

Going into detail on the issue, Retailleau told the interviewer that there were three major things to keep in mind regarding the issue of mass migration.

First, he said, was that there are already agreements in place that would enable the creation of “retention” measures at countries of migrant departures and transit, with Retailleau stressing that such agreements should be activated to this end.

Second, Retailleau pointed to the European level, highlighting that right-wing parties had won recent elections in June, contributing to an EU-wide shift toward stricter migration policies. He also noted that left-leaning governments, such as those in Denmark and Germany, already adopted more conservative stances on migration.

“Things aren’t like they were six months ago anymore,” Retailleau said. He referred to the Return Directive (Directive 2008/115/EC), which sets out common standards and procedures for the return of non-EU nationals staying illegally in European Union member states.

Retailleau argued that the directive needed a comprehensive overhaul to better address illegal migration in Europe. Currently, member states must demonstrate that they are making every effort to accommodate these individuals, but Retailleau advocated for reversing this approach, placing more responsibility on the migrants to justify their right to stay.

Finally, he also wants to change the rules within France to combat illegal migration. For one, he stressed, being illegally in the country is a crime and should be treated that way.

The interior minister called for the State to retake control over migration because otherwise, he said, “people smugglers are in charge.”

Muslim Austrian officer refuses to shake hands with female defence minister for religious reasons

Klaudia Tanner, screen grab youtube

There was a scandal at this year’s military discharge ceremonies at the Theresian Military Academy in Wiener Neustadt: one of the newly discharged officers refused to shake hands with Defence Minister Klaudia Tanner (ÖVP) – for religious reasons, as Tanner is a woman – and the cadet in question, a devout Muslim from Bosnia-Herzegovina, explained that he was not allowed to touch the minister for religious reasons. The incident during the ceremony caused a stir – and the reaction followed promptly: the officer was excluded from the rest of the ceremony, and Defence Minister Tanner was outraged by his disrespectful behaviour. The deputy defence minister of Bosnia-Herzegovina, Slaven Galić, also officially apologised to the ÖVP minister for the soldier’s behaviour.

According to information from military academy circles, the officer is said to have undergone a change in his values in recent months, possibly in connection with his marriage. The military imam explained that it was a matter of different interpretations of the Quran, otherwise the officer had not shown any abnormalities. Until now, the soldier’s behaviour had not been known, as it is customary to only salute during service at the academy.

A total of 74 cadets completed their training at the military academy at the weekend, including eight women and one guest soldier from Montenegro. However, the incident involving the Bosnian officer overshadowed the otherwise festive ceremony in which the new officers were presented to the Austrian Armed Forces.

French teen boxing champion stabbed to death by Algerian migrant outside nightclub

The 17-year-old teen had recently become boxing champion in his category in Normandy.

An Algerian migrant has been arrested in France on suspicion of stabbing to death a French teenage boxing champion outside a nightclub.

The attack occurred in the early hours of Sunday morning in Subles, near Bayeu, Normandy in the parking lot of the Octavia nightclub.

The suspect, identified as 24-year-old Nasser Bekaddour, of Algerian nationality, was apprehended by a nightclub security guard at around 6:40 a.m. and held until police arrived.

He is accused of stabbing 17-year-old Kylian Binard in the throat and the back after a fight broke out as the two were leaving the establishment.

According to the owner, both men were first-time visitors to the club and were members of the last two groups to leave the club. There had been no altercations between the pair earlier in the night to alert security staff, he insisted.

Kylian Binard, a rising star in the boxing world and champion of Normandy, had reportedly been enjoying a night out when the altercation unfolded. Despite immediate attempts to save his life, including efforts by the nightclub manager’s companion, Binard died at the scene.

Caen’s public prosecutor Joël Garrigue confirmed that an investigation is underway.

Surveillance footage from the nightclub has been seized to assist in determining the exact circumstances leading to the attack.

Bekaddour remains in police custody as authorities continue their inquiries.

The local community is left mourning the tragic loss of a young athlete whose promising career was cut short in an act of sudden violence.

Glorifying terrorists as martyrs: How Western media is whitewashing Hezbollah chief Nasrallah’s bloodstained legacy and portraying him as a ‘charismatic’ crusader

Media houses including New York TImes, The Guardian etc whitewashed Hassan Nasrallah and Hezbollah’s crime in articles on his death (Image: Dall-E/jns/NYT/Le Monde/Guardian)

The head of the Lebanese terrorist organisation Hezbollah, Hassan Nasrallah, died on 27th September in Israeli air strikes. His dead body was recovered on 29th September. While several of his followers took to the streets in mourning, his death sparked a troubling wave of media coverage that romanticised and sanitised his violent legacy. The media’s job was to reflect on the devastation caused by his leadership prominently.

However, several notable Western media outlets chose otherwise, focusing on his so-called “charisma” and political influence. They glossed over the bloodshed and terrorism he orchestrated during his decades as Hezbollah’s chief. The dangerous trend followed by media outlets to humanise individuals like Nasrallah is not just misleading but reckless. Such reporting has a long-lasting effect on the psychology of the upcoming generation.

The Guardian’s ‘adulating’ obituary to Hezbollah chief

One of the most glaring examples came from The Guardian. On 28th September, it published an article describing Nasrallah as a figure “hard to replace”. The Guardian claimed the task would be difficult because of Nasrallah rose from “humble beginnings in Beirut to a position of great power”. The article painted a picture of Nasrallah as a man who inspired loyalty and admiration among his followers. While praising the dead chief of a terrorist organisation as an “Islamic scholar”, The Guardian completely failed to adequately address the brutal acts of terrorism that Nasrallah sanctioned during his leadership of Hezbollah.

Source: Guardian

The Guardian focused on his perceived charisma, and while doing so, the media house became distracted from the essential truth: Nasrallah was a man who led a terrorist organisation responsible for numerous attacks. One of the notable terrorist attacks initiated by Hezbollah during his tenure includes the 1983 bombing of the US Marine barracks in Beirut, which took the lives of 241 Americans.

Interestingly, The Guardian gave him a clean chit on the 7th October terrorist attack by Hamas on Israel and stated, “There is no evidence that Nasrallah knew what Hamas had planned for 7 October, but he reacted to the bloody raids on Israel with what must have seemed fine judgment. Hezbollah did not launch a major offensive but began firing some of its vast stocks of rockets and missiles into Israel in a bid to maintain its “resistance” credentials.” For The Guardian, firing “few rockets and missiles” towards Israel was not a big deal.

The Guardian should have critically analysed the destruction Hezbollah caused under Nasrallah’s leadership. However, it chose to imply that his leadership style was something to be admired. It is a fact that Nasrallah was revered by some in Lebanon, and even in other parts of the world, including India, where he was seen as a “warrior”. However, this does not whitewash Hezbollah’s violent role in the region. It does not excuse the fact that the international community has classified Hezbollah as a terrorist group. The focus on Nasrallah’s so-called charisma risks normalising and even legitimising the very terrorism that has destabilised the Middle East for decades.

The New York Times’ whitewashing of Nasrallah’s terrorism

The Guardian is not the only media outlet that has gone to great lengths to whitewash Nasrallah’s terrifying legacy of terrorism. The New York Times took a similarly problematic approach. It offered a long, detailed account of his political and military achievements. In a 28th September article, The New York Times referred to Nasrallah as someone who built Hezbollah into “the most formidable military and political force in Lebanon”, as if this were a neutral or even positive development.

Source: NYT

While doing so, NYT completely failed to emphasise that Hezbollah’s rise to power came at the cost of thousands of innocent lives. It destabilised not only Lebanon but also the broader Middle East. Instead of dwelling on the countless acts of violence that Nasrallah orchestrated, including rocket attacks on Israeli civilians and the terrorist organisation’s role in the Syrian Civil War, the NYT article spent a significant portion of its time recounting Nasrallah’s “determination” and “strategic thinking”.

NYT normalised Hezbollah’s violent methods and presented them as a necessary evil for political gain rather than the terroristic acts they truly are. This dangerous narrative not only erodes public understanding of Hezbollah’s true nature but also emboldens other terrorist organisations by offering them the same media legitimacy.

Le Monde: More than a terrorist leader?

Le Monde is one of France’s most prestigious newspapers. While covering the death of the head of a terrorist organisation, Le Monde did not “disappoint” and behaved exactly like its counterparts. The coverage was an obituary that described Nasrallah as “a charismatic leader for more than three decades.” The headline itself was enough to raise eyebrows as it reduced Nasrallah’s life to that of a mere political figurehead while sidestepping the heinous crimes committed by Hezbollah under his leadership.

Source: Le Monde

The article painted Nasrallah as an influential political figure with a towering stature in Lebanon. However, it failed to grapple with the core truth that his leadership was responsible for fostering a terrorist group that aimed to sow division and destruction in the region.

Le Monde portrayed him as a larger-than-life political leader, which was not only misleading but immensely dangerous for society. By framing Nasrallah as a “charismatic leader” without delving deeply into the ramifications of his leadership, the publication effectively whitewashes his crimes. There was no explanation of how Hezbollah, under Nasrallah, caused thousands of deaths, particularly, through suicide bombings and missile attacks targeting civilians.

When media houses paint an aura of legitimacy around terrorists, projecting them as political actors, they contribute to the obfuscation of the real dangers these organisations pose.

AP News: A sanitised legacy

Even media agency AP News, which is generally known for its straightforward reporting, failed to deliver a truthful portrayal of the terroristic legacy of Nasrallah. The publication covered airstrikes involving Hezbollah and acknowledged the group’s military actions. However, the tone surrounding Nasrallah’s death leaned towards a neutral, almost detached perspective. It described him as an “astute strategist” and “fiery orator”.

Source: AP

The article published by AP News mentioned his political influence and Hezbollah’s role in Lebanon’s government. However, it failed to take a firm stance on the organisation’s violent actions and terrorist activities. AP News focused on Nasrallah’s political influence rather than the terror he endorsed, leaving readers with the impression that he was a complex political figure and not a terrorist leader.

The sanitised version of his legacy will serve to downplay the organisation’s role in violence, not only against Israel but also against moderate Lebanese who have suffered under Hezbollah’s domination. Many moderate groups celebrated his death, but at the same time, it was celebrated by radicals worldwide. Such reporting on Nasrallah’s life only fuels the problematic sentiments of the latter.

The danger of glorifying terrorists

The dangerous trend of romanticising figures like Hassan Nasrallah reflects a broader issue within media coverage of terrorist organisations and their leaders. Publications that choose to downplay or sanitise the terrorist activities of the likes of Nasrallah are complicit in distorting public perception of these individuals.

Nasrallah’s case is not the only one. The same was done with the legacy of Osama Bin Laden, Burhan Wani, Afzal Guru and many others. By portraying Nasrallah as a political leader or focusing on his charisma and influence, these media outlets became an obstruction between reality and a false narrative. Such reporting whitewashes the violence and suffering that terrorist leaders like him have caused. It not only dishonours the memory of those who died at Hezbollah’s hands but also emboldens other terrorist organisations, who may see that their leaders can be eulogised in Western media as “charismatic” figures rather than the violent criminals they are.

A call for honest reporting

It is the responsibility of the media to be careful when reporting on figures like Hassan Nasrallah. Any sort of glorification of these leaders not only projects the irresponsible behaviour of the authors of these articles but also poses a threat to the future. Such reporting shapes public opinion in ways that downplay the severity of terrorism. It inadvertently legitimises organisations that threaten global peace.

Journalists must tell the truth. In the case of Hassan Nasrallah, the truth is that he was not a figure of charisma or political acumen, but a man responsible for bloodshed and terror. His legacy is one of violence, hatred, and death. It is time for the media to report that truth without glossing over the reality of who Hassan Nasrallah truly was. The world does not need another glorified image of a terrorist;it needs an honest account of the devastation Hezbollah caused under his leadership.

German mainstream media and politicians conceal the Islamist nature of the Essen terrorist attack

X

It is the next terrorist attack in North Rhine-Westphalia – just one month after the ISIS terror in Solingen (three people stabbed to death): a Syrian in an Islamist combat outfit marauded through Essen, North Rhine-Westphalia, on Saturday evening and set fire to two residential buildings. Eight children are seriously injured by smoke inhalation, two children are still in mortal danger. The Syrian then rams into several shops with his van and attacks people with a machete and combat knife. Armed police officers are only able to arrest him hours later.
According to information from the German broadcaster WDR, the Syrian perpetrator is known to the police and was wearing the colours of the Palestinians and a Palestinian scarf as a headband when he committed the crime – clear signs of an Islamist ideology.

Remarkable: although the perpetrator clearly followed an Islamist behaviour and pattern of terrorism, the media and politicians remain silent. The newspaper ‘Süddeutsche Zeitung’ succinctly states: ‘There were two fires in apartment blocks in Essen today, and a van drove into two shops.’

The news programme ‘Tagesschau’ lists the attack far down online. Headline: ‘30 injured after fires – perpetrator to be remanded in custody’

On the X account of North Rhine-Westphalia Minister President Hendrik Wüst: There is no mention. On the X account of Interior Minister Nancy Faeser: There’s not a word. On the website of the TV programme ‘ZDF Heute’ a small news item and the misleading headline: ‘Residential buildings in flames. Many injured in fires in Essen.’ Not a single word in the article about the fact that the perpetrator was a Syrian or that he was wearing Islamist clothing.

How long will the UN continue to dine with the devil?

by Giulio Meotti

China has secured its sixth term as a member of the United Nations Human Rights Council, becoming one of the most elected countries on the council where 64 percent of member countries are not democracies.

Iran has secured the presidency of the UN Commission on Disarmament. Then of the Human Rights Forum. Right: Iran executed 87 people in August, 29 in a single day, over 400 in a year. World record for hangings and shootings.

Saudi Arabia has secured the presidency of the UN Forum on the Status of Women. Right: Saudi executioners kill one person every two days, many of them women. 172 in a year, fewer than the Iranians, but not a bad record.

It brings to mind what the French mathematician Laurent Lafforgue wrote, who wrote that with the UN it is “like calling on the Khmer Rouge to set up a group of human rights experts”.

“Here are the moral leaders of the United Nations: this year, the Chinese communist regime is a member of the UN Human Rights Council, Iran’s Islamic regime served as president of the UN Conference on Disarmament, and Saudi Arabia was named chair of the UN Commission on Women’s Rights,” said Hillel Neuer, head of UN Watch.

“The United Nations is a giant dictators’ club,” added Thor Halvorssen, founder of the Human Rights Foundation.

The UN “public service” award went to the Lebanese Interior Ministry that is in the hands of Hezbollah. The UN’s Orwellian Committee on the Peaceful Uses of Outer Space, “Copuos,” was chaired by an Iranian.

“Imagine a land plagued by inefficiency, Kafkaesque bureaucracy, and the miasma of corruption,” wrote Stephen Halper in the Wall Street Journal. “Imagination is unnecessary; you’re at the United Nations.”

While the Saudi Supreme Court (which is not really a supreme court, but more of a congregation of imams) gave the green light to a thousand lashes and ten years in prison for liberal blogger Raif Badawi, guilty of having “insulted Islam,” a delegation of United Nations bureaucrats landed in Jeddah to promote an “international conference on religious freedom.” Leading the delegation were Joachim Rücker himself, the president of the Human Rights Council, photographed alongside the guardians of Wahhabi Islam in white robes, and Heiner Bielefeldt, the UN envoy for religious freedom.

Saudi Arabia is the third largest donor in the world. Could this have something to do with it?

Qatar – a sort of Islamic Luxembourg that finances all the henchmen, from Hamas to the Taliban – has just made an agreement with the UN to finance…”road safety in the world.” Then another donation from Qatar to the UN Fund for Women.

Orwell is alive and fighting alongside us.

“China has succeeded in making the UN more Chinese,” Moritz Rudolf, founder of Eurasia Bridges, a German consultancy that studies the new Silk Road, tells the Wall Street Journal. “It’s systematic.”

Meanwhile, the Taliban, with whom the Chinese are doing big business (now there is even a “Taliban ambassador in Beijing”), are working to get their hands on the ecological investments that the international community had planned for Afghanistan. What could possibly go wrong? The UN is about to bring the Taliban back to the table of nations. And since the Taliban came to power in 2021, the German government has sent over 400 million euros to Afghanistan.

To quote that fantastic contrarian Mark Steyn, the problem with the United Nations is that if you take ice cream and a bit of dog feces and mix them together, the result will always taste like dog feces and not ice cream.

What is the length of the spoon used by these corrupt people to dine with the devil?

Just ask Marzieh Hamidi.

She is twenty-one years old, a high-level athlete, a taekwondo champion and a refugee in France. A refugee, because Marzieh is Afghani, she left the country three years ago, when the proto-Western protectorate collapsed in a few hours. She has received three thousand death threats, of ending up raped, which has led to her living under escort. It is in France that this political refugee was placed under police protection and forced to leave her home, again, after the Taliban.

Where are the feminist associations? Where is the left that takes to the streets against Israel? Where are the political figures of #MeToo? Have they met Hamidi? Have they chanted his name? Some, perhaps.

Already in 1996, in the Express, Elisabeth Schemla wrote an article entitled “Feminists and the Koranistan”: “Feminists are silent on the radio, while Radio Kabul broadcasts the Taliban precepts. The fight for equality monopolizes them completely. It is far away, so far away, the Koranistan! Have you forgotten the firm resolutions of the Cairo and Beijing conferences, which refused to make ‘cultural difference’ an alibi for slavery?”.

Meanwhile, Marzieh Hamidi opens her cell phone to check WhatsApp: 4,324 messages and 500 phone calls in one night. Not only from Pakistan and Iran, but also from Belgium, Germany, Switzerland, Serbia, South America and France. They call for murder, rape, stoning… the whole range of telegraphic barbarism. No major feminist association has taken up her dramatic story or organized a demonstration to defend her. “I have been called a slave of the West,” she confesses to the Point, which calls her “an abandoned heroine.” “But I warn those who call me an Islamophobe: open your eyes! Let them move to Kabul! They have never experienced what I have experienced or what Iranian women go through! Let them settle in Afghanistan, they won’t last two days.”

Thanks to the UN, Koranistan is close, so close!
