After the killing of a 29-year-old woman with a knife in Vienna’s Meidling district, the suspect has been arrested: The Afghan husband ( aged 31), who had been on the run since the crime, was apprehended at Berlin airport. The police had been contacted by relatives of the woman who had reported an argument between the couple and were worried when they could no longer make contact with the Afghan-born woman. The door to the locked flat was opened at 9.20am on Thursday. The police found the dead woman there, she had stab wounds to her chest and neck. According to information from oe24.at, the victim had only recently arrived in Austria. The marriage is said to have been arranged. The suspect is said to have been living in Vienna for 14 years and to be a registered asylum seeker.
Many defenders of Islam’s growing presence in the West say that moderate Islam needs to be promoted while “radical” Islam needs to be fought. However, one French journalist has now written a book, “At the heart of French Islam, Three years of infiltration in 70 mosques,” about his experience posing as a Muslim convert for three years and the various experiences he had with “moderate” imams. His book shows that even with these imams, which did not operate in any of the so-called radical mosques, that “the most brutal precepts of the Quran are transmitted literally but often with a smile.”
What does that mean in practice? For the journalist, Etienne Delarcher, he says these imams are clear that “theocracy remains the ideal regime.” His book has been published under a pseudonym for fear of reprisals, but he also recorded his conversations as evidence of his claims.
The views of these imams also have practical implications for how society would theoretically one day operate in France.
“I asked 15 religious leaders whether the hands of thieves should be cut off. Fourteen answered in the affirmative. Some are not enthusiastic, even uncomfortable, but, in the end, they advocate applying divine rule,” writes Delarcher.
Delarcher visited 70 different mosques over the course of three years.
“Deliberately, I did not target mosques identified as centers of radicalization,” he states.
Woman and Islam
In the first part of his book, Delarcher focuses on the role of women and Islam in French society, with the journalist stating that the imams partake in an “uninhibited festival of patriarchy.”
For example, one so-called moderate imam provided him “marital advice” in a recorded conversation. The imam said that if his wife is insubordinate and persistently fails to follow her husband’s “advice,” “then you must hit her… but not in the face, because you risk breaking her nose or put out an eye and you would be forced to pay,” he explained.
Delarcher has released a number of his recordings, with the subject anonymized, on his X profile. For example, in one video with a religious authority in the Grand Mosque of Villeurbanne, he explains that a wife does not have the right to refuse sex to her husband.
“The husband, he has needs in bed. That’s fine. As a woman, you’re not going to say no. If, today, there isn’t a reason, you are not menstruating, you don’t have anything at all, then you can’t say no. No, it’s about compulsory obedience. Why? Because it’s based on the duties and requirements of women,” says the imam.

In another video, he shows a compilation of imams defending domestic violence in mosques. In one clip, the imam says:
“She cannot say she does not follow her husband. If she doesn’t want to, then he’s allowed to ‘appeal,’ in other words to hit them, to frighten them. It’s not to hurt them. You can hit them to frighten them, but you can’t break things or do anything that hurts them too much, it’s more of a threat in the sense that you don’t talk to each other anymore, but if it persists, the conflict persists, then… you take out the Siwak, or the little stick, there’s this little stick. It’s the little stick. So it’s a gesture of a threat.”
The imam refers to the Siwak, which in Arabic is referred to as a thin, flexible twig chewed on for dental hygiene, which can also be used to beat a woman.

The journalist said that what is striking is the difference between the often affable, smiling and friendly demeanor of religious authorities in the mosques and the message they deliver in private.
“It is never hate speech, except perhaps against homosexuality. It’s radicalism uttered kindly,” he writes.
Notably, these more controversial statements come about in private conversations and are not openly preached at sermons.
Public discourse is much more controlled because there is always the threat of expulsion,” he said. There can be, for instance, consequences for “anti-Republican” statements from imams, including monitoring from security services.
In terms of messaging, there is not so much difference between the radical Islamists and the “moderates” when they are spoken to in private, according to the journalist.
“We talk a lot about Salafism and Islamists, but the heart of the problem is that Islam is an unreformed religion. There has been no update (…) the Muslim Brotherhood, which is in the crosshairs, does not in fact have a more radical discourse than that which is current in so-called moderate mosques,” he writes in his book.
Critics of mass immigration to France often have pointed to the crime and disorder brought by many of the newcomers, particularly from Muslim lands. However, some say the greater threat is what role Islam could play in shaping France’s secular beliefs.
“Not a single one of my interlocutors defended secularism… they hope for the advent of a theocratic system. When one of the imams interviewed castigates the Islamic State in front of the ‘convert,’ he immediately recommends a ‘book from the Middle Ages which glorifies jihad and death as a martyr,” wrote Delarcher.
Delarcher denies his is Islamphobic
Delarcher refutes that he has an ideological bias or that there is any sort of Islamophobia behind his work, and says he tried to deliver his findings in the most objective and straightforward manner possible. He also says that he tries to avoid sensationalism in his book, instead delivering evidence.
He said that Islam is given a very superficial treatment by journalists in France, with Delarcher previously working as a broadcast journalist for a French television network. For instance, journalists will focus on the burkini for an inordinate amount of time, but do not provide any systematic insight into Islam, instead focusing on whatever sensationalist elements they can find to produce a news report.
French journalism offers a “very superficial treatment of Islam in the media, particularly the audiovisual media. It is handled by editorialists and not by field journalists. For example, we spent weeks on the burkini, even though it is an anecdotal, derisory phenomenon.”
Some mosques have already reacted to the book, with one located in Villeurbanne stating: “The Council of Mosques of the Rhône (CMR) solemnly contests that the authorized imams of the mosque could have made the remarks attributed to one of them,” reports the Saphir news site, which follows community news Muslim; however, the philosopher Faker Korchane, who is an expert on Islam in France, said he does not doubt the truth of the remarks in the book, which were often backed by audio recordings.
The investigation could raise questions about the role of moderate Islam across Europe. For instance, Muslim kindergartens are being opened up across Germany, many even sponsored by organizations known for extremist views. While these initiatives are celebrated due to “diversity and inclusion,” in the end, many of these institutions may be promoting a message vastly at odds with mainstream opinion in liberal countries like Germany, France and other Western countries when it comes to women’s rights and the rights of gay and lesbian people.

The Paris Olympic Games have just witnessed a scandalous scene during the boxing event—and one that could easily have been predicted. A young Italian boxer, Angela Carini, quit her match against a male opponent who delivered a violent blow to her head. The scene was impressive for its violence and brevity. After only 46 seconds of confrontation, the young Italian Olympian was demolished by the Algerian boxer Imane Khelif, who punched her in the face. The sportswoman immediately chose to forfeit: “I went into the ring to fight. I didn’t surrender, but one punch hurt too much and I said that’s enough.” She broke down in tears at the injustice of the situation, which prevented her from showing off her talent.
In a moving video, she had earlier explained that she had wanted to take part in the competition in memory of her father.
“I wanted this victory at all costs. Just for my father.”

Imane Khelif is an Algerian boxer who carries male XY chromosomes but fights in the female category. In 2023, Khelif was banned from fighting at international level because of testosterone levels that were over the accepted limit. However, Khelif was allowed to take part in the Olympic Games. According to the French essayist Marguerite Stern, a specialist in transgender issues, Khelif did not ‘transition’ but suffers from a chromosomal disease known as gonadal dysgenesis, which gives the carrier a male hormonal constitution. As a result, Stern thinks Khelif should never have been allowed to compete in the women’s category.
Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni came to Angela Carini’s defence, saying that “athletes with male genetic characteristics should not be admitted to women’s competitions.” Matteo Salvini, vice-president of the Council and former interior minister, denounced a “slap in the face to the ethics of sport and the credibility of the Olympics.”

On social media, a hashtag #IStandWithAngelaCarini was launched in defence of the Italian. Writer J.K. Rowling called out the “misogynist sporting powers” who had deemed Imane Khelif eligible for the Olympics: “A young female boxer has just had everything she’s worked and trained for snatched away because you allowed a male to get in the ring with her,” she said.
To date, there are no uniform rules governing the participation of transgender athletes in Olympic competitions. Each federation therefore sets its own rules. For boxing, the rules for the Games have been established by the Paris Boxing Unit (PBU), because the organisation that ruled against Khelif’s participation in 2023, the International Boxing Association (IBA), chaired by Russian Umar Kremlev, has not been recognised anymore by the IOC since June. IOC spokesman Mark Adams clumsily defended himself by explaining that the testosterone test was not “a perfect test.”
In Algeria, it is felt that Khelif is the subject of an unfair smear campaign. Khelif is counting on a gold medal despite the controversy.
Homophobic assassination attempt in Corbeil Essonnes: The four suspects have been identified and are Islam H., Aymen R., Karim D. and Nessim N., according to a police source. A police operation in two squats in the town had already led to the arrest of Islam H., who was born in Algeria on October 2, 1991 (32 years old), on Tuesday, July 30. During his interrogation, the accused did not admit to being involved in the attack, but … to have intervened to help the victim. He was brought before the court in Evry on Thursday, August 1, for investigation. The two victims of the knife attack were placed on 31 and 20 days’ incapacity for work respectively.

After the attack on a homeless man (38 of age) at the main railway station, the police are now investigating a treacherous murder: the Romanian man died in hospital, a Nigerian had apparently kicked him to death for no reason! The unbelievable act of violence happened on the night of the 26th of July in Bochum. At 1.15 a.m., the young man (21) from Lünen (North Rhine-Westphalia) attacked Silvio M. – who was sleeping near the left-luggage office at the time. The Romanian with no fixed abode didn’t stand a chance: the Nigerian repeatedly kicked and punched him, leaving him with life-threatening injuries. The suspected perpetrator was arrested shortly afterwards. The homicide detectives know exactly how the crime took place. “A surveillance camera filmed what happened,” says senior public prosecutor Andreas Bachmann. So far, it has to be assumed that the victim and perpetrator did not know each other. That is why the detectives are currently assuming that the murder was committed for “base motives” and that the murder criterion of malice aforethought has been met – the victim was asleep. Paramedics and an emergency doctor treated the homeless man at the scene and took him to hospital. But his injuries were too severe – Silvio M. died in hospital three days after the attack. His body was autopsied at the forensic centre on Monday. “The cause of death was determined to be the consequences of blunt force trauma”, said Bachmann.
Silvio M. had often slept at the railway station, having only returned from his home country a few weeks ago. The railway mission had sponsored his ticket to Romania – but he obviously preferred to live in Germany. A social worker: “It’s terrible what happened. We can’t believe it. Silvio didn’t harm anyone.” The investigations by the public prosecutor’s office and the homicide squad have not yet been finalised, but a motive is unlikely to be found. The Nigerian has hardly attracted any attention so far; according to the BILD newspaper, he has no previous convictions for violent offences. He remains silent about the accusation that he killed a person for no reason. The chief public prosecutor assumes that the suspect may have a mental illness. This is now to be clarified with the help of experts. Despite the video recording, the criminal investigation department is looking for witnesses to the crime. At the time of the crime, a group of travellers is said to have been in the vicinity – as were two women who disappeared in a taxi before the police arrived. They are asked to come forward by calling (0234) 9094441.
A Syrian teenager was arrested in Germany on Tuesday evening on suspicion of a mass stabbing which left one victim in critical condition.
The attack occurred on Königstrasse in the German city of Stuttgart around 6:30 p.m. local time. According to the police report, the 17-year-old suspect was walking down the street with two other individuals when they initiated an altercation with another group.
During the subsequent attack, the Syrian allegedly stabbed three men, aged 24, 37, and 47, between an ice cream parlor and an optician on the main street.
The 37-year-old man was rushed to hospital and remains in critical condition. The other two men suffered minor injuries.
Two women, 52 and 33 years old, who were with the injured men, were unharmed.
The 17-year-old Syrian migrant was arrested near the crime scene by responding officers, while his two companions evaded capture despite a mass search comprising around 40 officers.
“The investigation into the 17-year-old’s companions is ongoing. The 17-year-old suspect with Syrian nationality will be brought before a judge on Wednesday at the request of the Stuttgart public prosecutor’s office,” the police wrote.
The authorities are encouraging witnesses to the incident to contact Stuttgart police headquarters.
Despite the police report stating quite clearly the nationality of the man arrested, several mainstream news outlets across Germany omitted this fact from their report.
Tagesschau reported an “argument between two groups” during which a “17-year-old” was arrested, without any reference to his nationality.
The British government is considering proscribing the English Defence League (EDL) as a terrorist organization, the country’s deputy prime minister has confirmed.
In an interview after violent clashes outside a mosque in Southport, Angela Rayner indicated that the Home Secretary would be looking into the matter of proscribing the EDL as a terrorist organization.
“We have laws and we have proscribed groups and we do look at that and it is reviewed regularly,” Rayner told LBC.

The clashes took place after an unnamed 17-year-old went on a stabbing spree in which three children have died and many more have suffered serious injuries.
Police have so far not confirmed a motive for the crime, although they do not believe it is terror related.
The English Defense League was founded by the activist Tommy Robinson back in 2009 to combat the growing Islamization of British society. However, he is no longer involved with the organization.
Over the weekend, Robinson was himself detained under Britain’s anti-terrorism laws after he held a massive rally in Trafalgar Square, where he also held a screening of his latest film Silenced.

Faced with a case of legal correction on the attribution of a third gender, Italy’s Constitutional Court denied the possibility of recognizing in the courts the alleged “non-binary” sexual identity, that is, neither masculine nor feminine. The Constitutional Court alerted that Italian law “establishes the principle of correspondence between name and sex and that, therefore, only a legislative intervention could overcome or change this rule. Its clarification is based on the fact that the binary nature of human sexuality of man and woman characterizes the varied and most disparate realms of social life, governed by the legal system, such as family law, labour law, sport, and the civil state and that, therefore, the legal recognition of an alleged third non-binary gender would disrupt the entire Italian legal and social system in such a way as to be incompatible with the faculties and attributions of the Constitutional Court or of any judge.”
Antonio Brandi, President of Pro-Life and Family Onlus, highlighted to the EFE Agency that “the Court confirms our repeated alarms about the legitimacy of the ‘alias race’ adopted increasingly by schools, given that, by permitting a student to choose a different name from the name in the register, to attribute to him the sex opposite to his own, and even without the need of a clinical diagnosis of gender dysphoria, acts out precisely the disassociation between name and sex that the Constitutional Court denies can be permitted without legislative intervention. It is more urgent than ever that the Minister of Education, Giuseppe Valditara, intervene to block the spread of this dangerous phenomenon, which reinforces in thousands of minors the absurd belief of being “born in a mistaken body,” orientating them to ways of social transition and, then, of sexual transition, which are harmful and damaging to their psychophysical health.” The same Agency verified with Italy’s Embassy in Spain that the intervention of Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni is false, to have her Government eliminate the non-binary gender in official identity documents, as asserted on the social networks, given that Italy does not include a third gender in documents and cannot do away with something that is not contemplated.

A UK Muslim organization is offended again, this time, because a Hindu organization released a statement not wanting their Hindu and Indian identities to be conflated with the Muslim identity of the Manchester Airport Pakistani-origin attackers.
On the 28th of July, Insight UK, a Hindu organization, posted a statement on X where they objected to the use of the term “Asian” to describe the Muslim attackers, saying that it creates confusion and conflates the Hindu and Indian identity with that of the attackers’ Muslim identity.
INSIGHT UK strongly objects to the use of the term “Asian” to describe the individuals involved in the recent Manchester airport incident. The individuals in question were neither Indian nor Hindu. The conflation of British Hindus and Indians with the broader “Asian” identity often leads to a misrepresentation of Indian and Hindu values and behaviors, which are fundamentally peaceful. The British Hindu and Indian communities are highly educated, well-integrated, and law-abiding. They are among the highest taxpayers and contributors in the UK across all ethnic minorities. The British Hindu and Indian communities make significant contributions to business, healthcare, technology, innovation, and finance, driving economic growth and societal progress in the UK. As law-abiding citizens, we stand by the police and commend their decisive response to the senseless attack on their officers. We urge all journalists to avoid using the term “Asian” to ensure accurate and respectful representation.
Insight UK essentially wrote that the media was using the term “Asian” to describe the two perpetrators who attacked police officers at the Manchester Airport. The accused are of Pakistani origin. The use of the term “Asian” essentially broad brushes all Indians and Hindus under the same umbrella as Muslim identities from the sub-continent, in this case, Pakistani, leading to confusion and misinterpretation. For the broader Western public, the use of the term Asian leaves no room for differentiation between Hindus and Indians, and Muslims from Pakistan. When violent behaviors are then displayed by the Muslim community, especially by those of Pakistani descent, the Western community at large gets prejudiced against Hindus and Indians as well, owing to the broad brush of identities as “Asian” by the media. Insight UK legitimately urged journalists to use an accurate representation of identities, given that the Hindu diaspora is law-abiding and amongst the highest taxpayers in the UK.
This was a perfectly reasonable demand given that it was indeed not Hindus who assaulted the police officers in Manchester Airport. It is also not the Hindu diaspora that gets into repeated trouble with law enforcement for such violent behavior. For example, as of 2022, at 4% population in the UK, Muslims made up more than 18% of the prison population. In fact, in the grooming gang issue in the UK, where non-Muslim girls are sexually abused and harassed, the perpetrators are mostly Muslims of Pakistani descent. It is, therefore, not unreasonable for the Hindus and Indians of the UK to not want their identities conflated with the Muslims of the UK, especially those of Pakistani descent.
There is additional context to the statement by Insight UK. Pakistan has been the mothership of Islamic terrorism against India for decades. Pakistan has for decades followed the policy of death by a thousand cuts when it comes to India and harbors special animosity towards Hindus. In Pakistan, the usual narrative is that someday, they would turn India into an Islamic nation – from Dar-ul-Harb to Dar-Ul-Islam. The Islamic terror group Lashkar-e-Taiba has, for example, framed the prophecy of Ghazwa-e-Hind, as one in which India is defeated and united with Pakistan, unifying the Indian subcontinent under Muslim rule.
With such animosity towards India and Hindus, it is reasonable for Insight UK to take umbrage to Indian/Hindu identities being conflated with that of the Muslim/Pakistani identity under the broad brush umbrella of “Asian”.
This reasonable demand, however, did not sit well with Muslim organizations.
Muslim Association of Britain (UK) took to X to condemn the statement by Insight UK.

MAB was offended that the Hindu diaspora of the UK did not want to suffer for the crimes of the Muslim community, especially those where the perpetrators are of Pakistani origin.
Interstingly, while MAB is talking about shared identities and “bringing communities together” after the Manchester Airport assault by Pakistani-origin accused, during the Leicester violence in 2022, where Hindus were mercilessly attacked by Muslims, they were busy blaming the Hindus and allying with Islamists like Majid Freeman.
In 2022, MAB organized a conversation about the Leicester violence where they blamed Hindus after Muslims had gone on a rampage. One of the people who was a part of the conversation was Majid Freeman – the Muslim man who had spearheaded the violence against Hindus in Leicester and also, has now been booked for terrorism.
What’s Happening in Leicester? The Worrying Rise of Hindutva in the UK
MAB has also spread utter lies and hate against Hindus when they came under attack from the Muslim mob in Leicester.
Majid Freeman, who MAB quotes to spread hate against Hindus, has recently been booked in the UK for terrorism. Majid Freeman was charged with inciting terrorism and lending support to the proscribed terrorist organization, Hamas. Freeman was arrested on July 9th last year on suspicion of counter-terrorism offenses, including encouraging acts of terrorism.
Majid Freeman is a local Leicester Muslim “activist” who is known to harbor problematic and extremist Islamic views. Throughout the Leicester violence, Majid was at the forefront of spreading fake news that instigated violence against Hindus.
It was on 28 August 2022 that a scuffle broke out after India defeated Pakistan in a T20 match after the Indian flag was desecrated. After the scuffle, Hindus had even calmed the situation down and tended to the individual who had snatched and desecrated the Indian flag. Majid Freeman, however, had a different story to tell.
On the 30th of August, after the Leicester police got influenced by the Muslim organizations and lied about “death to Muslims” being chanted by Hindus (they later clarified their investigation found no such chants were heard), Majid took to Twitter to rabble-rouse against Hindus.
On the 30th itself, he lied about the Quran being desecrated in Leicester, insinuating that the Hindus had committed this act. However, OpIndia tried to verify these claims.
There was another incident that was cited by Majid Freeman to claim that Hindus had been attacking Muslims. He claimed that a mob of 30+ Hindus had chased and assaulted a Muslim teenager. When confirmed, it turned out that while the Muslim organizations had claimed this, no video evidence was submitted to the police and no investigation was underway, OpIndia was told by Insight UK.
On the 4th of September, when the violence against Hindus started with mobs hunting them down in their houses and on the streets, Majid Freeman took to Twitter to dog-whistle against Hindus again.
From the 4th to the 7th of September, Muslim mobs went on a rampage against Hindus. On the 4th of September, when Majid tweeted and dog-whistled, the Muslim mob went on a rampage unprovoked while the Hindus were celebrating Ganesh Chaturthi. Eggs were thrown when Hindu symbols were spotted and where Ganesh puja was being held. A Hindu man was dragged out of his home and stabbed when his aunt ran out of the house to defend him, she was injured because the Muslim mob punched and beat her.
On the 12th of September, a dangerous lie started. It was alleged that Hindu men had attempted to abduct a Muslim girl while she was going to school.
After the story went viral, aided by Majid Freeman, the Hindu man started getting threats from Islamists since they had outed his car number, his location, and his picture.
On the 14th of September, the Leicester police confirmed that the news was fake.
In fact, another lie that was circulated by Majid Freeman and his Islamist cohorts was that a Mosque was attacked by Hindus during their peaceful protest. The Leicester police confirmed that no such mosque was attacked, however, they did confirm that a Hindu temple had been vandalized.
Besides being the key instigator of the 2022 anti-Hindu riots, Majid has also encouraged European Muslims to “do jihad in Syria,” and has promoted “tributes” to the late Al Qaeda terrorist Anwar Al-Awlaki on his Twitter and Facebook accounts. OpIndia had, in fact, exposed Majid Freeman’s links with ISIS and organizations connected to Al Qaeda and IHH.
MAB, which is closely associated with Majid Freeman, and justified violence against Hindus and blamed Hindus for the violence committed by Islamists, is today offended that Hindus of the UK don’t want to bear the burden of the crimes committed by the Muslims of the UK.
This playbook of indulging in violence and then crying Islamophobia is repeated across the world, with minor tweaks, depending on the situation. MAB accusing Insight UK of ‘sowing division’ is just another manifestation of it.
What happened at the Manchester Airport
On the 23rd of July, there was reportedly an altercation between some passengers of a Qatar Airlines flight. Greater Manchester Police said that the police were called by the Airport staff after an altercation at Terminal 2 of the Manchester Airport. The police reached the airport, checked the CCTV, and spotted the suspect at the ticket counter. The accused further attacked the police and broke the nose of a female police officer after which the police had to act.
Initially, a video emerged where the police officer was seen kicking the accused’s head. This led to widespread outrage claiming that the police were being racist and had used excessive force even after the accused was down on the ground.
However, later another video emerged where it was seen that before the police officer had kicked the accused in the head, the accused had rained punches against the police officers injuring one male and 2 female police officers.
In the second video which has emerged, according to the Independent, “Three police officers – one male and two female – approach two men standing by one of the ticket machines and proceed to restrain one of them, who was wearing a matching light blue top and shorts. The second man, wearing a black t-shirt, then circles around the male officer, who was leading the restraint of the first man, and appears to begin to attack him. The pair then seem to begin punching one another while the first man hits the two female officers multiple times. The man in the black t-shirt is eventually tased by the male officer, at which point the second man looks to have knocked the two other officers down and proceeds to punch the male officer in the back of the head. After the male officer and the first man wrestle to the ground, he appears to be tased by the female officers. The male officer then gets up and appears to kick the man in the head, where the video ends”.
Two of the accused are Fahir and his brother Amaad. According to The Express report, the row erupted as the two brothers headed to Manchester Airport on July 23 to meet their mother, who was returning from a visit to Pakistan.
While the police – two women officers and one male officer – got seriously injured in the violence which was unleashed by the accused, the Muslims of the UK have cried about Islamophobia.
