Meloni: ‘The left was unable to stop the rise of the right’

During Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni’s victory speech, she said that the left is falling to the wayside while the right is ascendant in Italy and across Europe.

“The left saw the rise of the right but was unable to stop it,” Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni said in the early hours of Monday as her FdI (Brothers of Italy) party went from 6 percent of the votes to 28 percent in the European elections, a statement that also applies to the wider European context.

She recalled that she and her party celebrated their victory in the Italian parliamentary elections in the same place in September 2022.

“That was a good night, but this one is even better for me,” she said, adding that less than two years ago, Italians had hoped for a center-right government, but “now they know what we are capable of.”

She stressed that the government she led found the country in an extremely difficult situation when it took office, the only thing more complicated than that was the international situation.

“Our strategy has always been to speak the truth and do what we have to do for the country. The Italians understood that,” Meloni said.

She pointed out that her party, which scored just over 6 percent in the 2019 EU parliament elections and 26 percent in the 2022 domestic parliamentary elections, is now polling over 28 percent in the current EU parliament elections, according to preliminary data.

Since 2022, the domestic tripartite coalition of the Brothers of Italy, the Forza Italia and the League has continued to grow stronger, she added.

“I am proud to represent the strongest government in the G7 and in Europe as president-in-office,” Meloni said, referring to the group of the seven most industrially advanced countries in the world.

She welcomed the fact that the European Parliament elections have strengthened the bipolarity of center-right and center-left politics.

“It makes it easier for citizens to decide which side to take,” he said. Giorgia Meloni delivered her speech in front of an azure blue backdrop with the logo of the Brothers of Italy and the words “Grazie!” (Thank you!) in the party’s Rome media center. The choice of color was reminiscent of the political heyday of the late Silvio Berlusconi’s Forza Italia party.

Despite Meloni’s speech, many on the right have accused her of betraying voters on the issue of immigration, with Italy seeing huge increases in illegal arrivals since Meloni took power. In turn, she also backed the EU migrant pact and is pushing for more legal migrants for the country.

A Revolution in Europe – This ought to be a warning

A conservative revolution has swept Europe lifting parties in France, Italy and Germany.

After months of eco-riots, the public firmly rejected green fascism and kicked them to the curb. The results were especially stunning in Germany and France, but political earthquakes also rocked Belgium and Austria, and despite every possible effort to stop Geert Wilders, the Netherlands continues to swing further toward sanity.

The results are not genuinely surprising. A public suffering from a terrible economy, rising crime, migrant invasions and government overreach looked for answers, and rejected a Euracratic establishment that ran on open borders for every country except Ukraine and environmental austerity.

And parties right of center were able to seize the opportunity. Some did anyway.

Rishi Sunak’s Tories are headed for utter disaster and it’s hard to argue that they don’t deserve it. The thing that many people very invested in politics forget is that the general public is apolitical and in bad times will kick out whoever is in power. And the more the establishment shouts about who they shouldn’t consider voting for, they’re going to vote for them. That happened in Europe and polls suggest that it’s happening in the U.S.

Paradoxically, if the Dems hadn’t started raiding and arresting Trump, he might not be nearly as appealing to a section of the country that doesn’t care about issues, but does care about sending a very angry message.

“On 8 November, the dispossessed will walk into the voting booth,” Michael Moore warned back in 2016, “And put a big f**king X in the box next to the name of the man who has threatened to upend and overturn the very system that ruined their lives. Donald J. Trump.”

For once he had a point. And the Biden regime connived to make this happen again in 2024 while little understanding the public dynamic at work. The public hates this economy, hates the elites telling them everything is fine and hates Biden.

But the flip side of that is the public hates the people in power. And is prone to kicking out the last man standing. It’s not a free pass, but an opportunity to earn it.

In Europe, the EUcrats will do everything possible to block the will of the people. As their counterparts will do in America.

The revolution in Europe ought to serve as a warning. Instead it will make the establishment even more insufferable and abusive.

Germany: Muslim party DAVA wins 41 per cent in Duisburg in the European Parliament elections

The Marxloh district of Duisburg, screen grab youtube

The fact that Germany no longer looks like Germany in certain areas is evident after the EU elections in voting districts in the highly Islamised city of Duisburg, where Erdogan’s hardcore Muslim party, DAVA, was able to collect 41.10 per cent of the vote.

Voting district 1001 in the city of Duisburg – like many districts in Germany – has already been lost to Islam. There, the Muslim party founded in January, which operates under the bogus name ‘Democratic Alliance for Diversity and Awakening’ (DAVA), was able to mobilise its Islamic voters and achieve a shocking election result. With 41.10 per cent of the vote, the Muslim party did best by far. In second place was the AfD with 14.16 per cent, followed by the SPD with 10.96 per cent. The CDU achieved 8.68 per cent.

DAVA, which is considered to be Islamist and the extended arm of Erdogan, celebrated its victory in Duisburg on social media: ‘ Let’s see what we can achieve together’ was the party’s message to its Muslim voters.

What they want to achieve can be described in one word: Islamisation. In their party programme, those loyal to Allah start by talking about a ‘general commitment to promoting integration and participation’. But then, without further ado, they go on to talk about their actual goals. Under the heading ‘Combating Islamophobia’, it says: ‘Just as East and West are inextricably linked, we recognise that Islam is an integral part of Germany.’ In order to force Germany under the Islamic thumb, the DAVA wants to gain even more influence over the educational programmes offered by schools, the work of the media and the activities of public administrations. The aim is to ‘promote a realistic and more positive image of Islam’. In the ‘Culture and Media’ chapter, for example, this is concretised by advocating ‘correcting inappropriate portrayals of Islam and Muslims in school and history textbooks and replacing them with factual information’.

Macron dissolves French Parliament after crushing defeat

French President Emmanuel Macron has dissolved the French parliament after a crushing defeat in the European Elections.

In an address to the nation on national television, Macron said that the general election will take place on June 30 and July 7th.

“The result is clear. It is not a good result for the parties that defend Europe, including the presidential majority,” he said.

“It’s a situation I just can’t accept. This is why, having carried out the consultations provided for in Article 12 of our Constitution I have decided to give you back the choice of our parliamentary future by voting.”

Exit polls have indicated that the French hard-right party National Rally has defeated the President’s  Renaissance movement by a large majority.

With a predicted 32.4 per cent of the vote on June 9, National Rally appeared to have solidified its status as the main opposition in France. This would be the first time since the 1980s that a party has surpassed 30 per cent in the European Parliament elections in France.

Renaissance secured just 15.2 per cent of the vote, closely followed by the Socialist Party at 14.3 per cent.

Earlier in the evening, National Rally president Jordan Bardella called for a general election.

“Tonight, Emmanuel Macron is a weakened President … and now his actions are reduced in the European Parliament,” he said.

“A wind of hope has risen in France and it’s only just begun.”

The polls also indicated that the French hard-left party La France Insoumise has continued its slow but steady growth in France. In 2019 it garnered 6.31 per cent of the vote but the June 9 polls suggested it will pull in 8.3 per cent.

Germany’s Exit Polls: Populist AfD Projected to Be Country’s Second Biggest Party

Government parties in Germany have been given a kick up the backside by voters in the EU elections. According to exit polls published after voting closed at 6 p.m. the anti-immigration, anti-globalist AfD appears to have finished strongly in second place despite a recent scandal which resulted in their expulsion from the right-wing Identity and Democracy group in the EP. The party is projected to receive 16.5% of the votes and 17 seats, an addition of six seats in the EP. The AfD got 11% of the vote in 2019 and just 7% in 2014.

The centre-right opposition CDU/CSU alliance received 30% of the votes, which would give them 29 seats in the European Parliament (EP), the same number they got five years ago.

The traffic light coalition government appears to have failed to deal with the migration, energy, and cost-of-living crises to the voters’ satisfaction.

The governing Social Democrats (SPD) are projected to be third with 14 seats (two fewer than last time), the Greens look to have taken an enormous loss with just 12 seats (compared to 21 in 2019), and the liberal FDP at 5 seats (the same as 2019).

Germany: Young People Voting AfD

According to German media, 17% of young voters (aged 16-24) voted for the anti-immigration AfD party in the EU elections, a 10 point increase compared to five years ago. The only other party to have such a high share of the young voters is the centre-right CDU/CSU alliance.

This was the first election in which 16- and 17-year-olds could vote in Germany, and despite hoping to attract the youth vote, only 11% voted for the Greens and just 9% for the Social Democrats. AfD co-chairman Tino Chrupalla described his party’s results as “historic,” adding that they will boost the AfD before three regional elections in the eastern states of the country in the autumn. AfD is predicted to finish second at 16%, a 5-point increase compared to the elections in 2019.

France: Le Pen’s National Rally set to trounce Macron’s party in European elections, exit polls say

Screenshot X

Speaking to supporters, National Rally list chief Jordan Bardella has said that French people have given a “verdict without appeal” by giving his party more than 30% of the votes. This is more than double what President Emmanuel Macron’s party managed to achieve (15%).

French media have reported that President Macron will take the unusual step of addressing the nation later this evening.

“We welcome this verdict with humility and with seriousness. Our fellow Frenchmen have expressed a desire for change. This clear message for European leaders shows the will of the French to see Europe change course,” Bardella said.

“A wind of hope is blowing over France, and it’s just the beginning.”

“The president cannot stay deaf to the message sent tonight by the French people,” he added.

He also said President Macron should dissolve the government and call a general election.

Brussels region: ‘teenagers wrongly given votes’

Voting in the Brussels region has been “completely chaotic”, according to Belgian Socialist Bert Anciaux.

On June 9, many of those queueing to cast their ballot had to wait for more than two hours, it was claimed.

Technical issues played a part but primarily the system seemed to have been snagged more by the numbers of 16 to 18-year-olds turning up – who are now allowed to vote in the Europe Parliament elections.

“Voting sometimes is no party,” New Flemish Alliance MP Anciaux noted, adding the situation was “completely chaotic”.

“I’ve already been waiting here for half an hour and it will probably take much longer,” Anciaux told Belgian public broadcaster VRT NWS. His Brussels colleague Ans Persoons said he had to wait an hour and 45 minutes.

Due to the problems, voters queuing before 4pm were given more time to cast their ballot.

The municipalities struggling most with the election procedures for younger voters were Evere, Laeken, Schaerbeek and Brussels city.

In Neder-Over-Hembeek and Woluwe-Saint-Lambert there were also issues regarding the computers dealing with the voting procedure.

Woluwe-Saint-Lambert Mayor Olivier Maingain of the DéFI party instructed the Red Cross to distribute water and chairs among the hundreds of waiting voters.

In his municipality, out of the 31 polling stations, approximately 10 electronic voting machines were reported to be malfunctioning.

While there were few problems elsewhere, the Minister of Interior Annelies Verlinden and others said the numbers of new young voters had proved challenging in some areas.

Although 16 to 18-year-olds were only supposed to vote for the European elections, the confusion meant that, in some cases, they also posted ballots in the national and regional elections in Belgium.

The scope and relevance of these incidents is as yet unknown but it is likely the issue will become clearer once polling stations close.

Official electoral witnesses from the political parties must record the events in the minutes that each polling station is required to provide following the votes. The primary counting bureaux will then aggregate the data from each electoral district to determine the total number of “extra” ballots cast.

If this numbers appear to be above what is expected and votes for certain seats are close, that could result in defeated politicians choosing to take to the courts.

Right-Wing FPÖ Strongest Force in Austria

Anti-globalist, anti-immigration Freedom Party (FPÖ) are expected to win the European elections in Austria, according to exit polls released at 5 p.m., after voting closed in the country. The party, which has seen its popularity grow due to an increasing influx of migrants, gained 27% of the votes, which means they’ll get six seats in the European Parliament (five years ago they won three seats).

The governing centre-right People’s Party (ÖVP) got five seats, and so did the largest opposition force, the Social Democrats (SPÖ). ÖVP lost two seats compared to five years ago. The smaller government coalition party, the Greens, and opposition liberal NEOS are both projected to have won two seats on Sunday.

MADNESS: Germany Declines Taliban Offer to Repatriate Afghan Migrants Convicted of Heinous Crimes

The German government has declined an offer from the Taliban to repatriate Afghan migrants convicted of crimes on the grounds that it would indicate recognition of the Islamist regime.

The offer from the Taliban government follows the murder of a police officer by an Afghan national in a senseless knife attack in the southwest city of Manheim.

Following the attack last week, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz initially indicated that he wanted to deport violent criminals, even to dangerous countries such as Syria and Afghanistan. “Such criminals should be deported – even if they come from Syria and Afghanistan,” Scholz told the Bundestag or lower house of parliament.

There is currently a ban on deporting migrants back to Afghanistan since the Taliban took back control of the country back in 2021.

The Taliban’s Foreign Ministry spokesman Abdul Kahar Balchi expressed openness to the idea, posting on the X platform: “The Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan calls upon the German authorities to address through normal consular engagement and an appropriate mechanism based on bilateral agreement.”

The knife in the heart of multicultural Europe

X

by Giulio Meotti

For a few minutes, an Afghan migrant wanders around the stand of the civil movement “Pax Europa” in Mannheim, Germany. An Israeli flag flies on stage. In front of him, a poster with the writing: “Criticism is not directed against Muslims, but against political Islam.”

Then he attacks Michael Stürzenberger, the organizers, and the police (one later died) with a knife. We know about the terrorist that he has been in Germany since 2014, that he is married, that he has two children and that he lives with his family in Heppenheim, Hesse. He seemed like a model citizen. A champion of the “diversity” praised by the leaders of politics and the media.

But according to mainstream media, it seems that there was a prior “incident” with “people” in Baden-Württemberg, where Shani Louk, the Israeli girl killed by Hamas, also came from. Not even such atrocities seem to be enough to put an end to the sleep of our Sleeping Beauty and to put the handbrake on the entry into barbarism.

In an unprecedented relativization, an activist who exercises his right to free speech is placed on the same level as a jihadist and made unceremoniously complicit in his fate. Anyone who dares to hold a mirror close to our psychiatric institution, commonly known as the West, deserves death. On social media, Stürzenberger is defined as a “Mossad agent” due to his pro-Israel position.

On December 1, the ordinance on the “ban on carrying knives in the city district” came into force in Mannheim. But since the Germans are methodical, the ban applies exclusively from Friday at 8pm to Saturday at 6am, on Saturday from 8pm to Sunday at 6am and on the eve of holidays from 8pm to 6am. It’s a shame that the attack therefore took place on Friday morning.

Meanwhile, the rulers hide behind empty phrases with which they want to avoid addressing the connection with the two great taboo topics: the catastrophic migration policy and Islam. Western Europe is on track to become semi-Islamic in its cultural character, and very quickly.

In the same hours as the attack in Mannheim in Loyettes (France), a man destroyed a cross using a van. He tied the cross with a strap to the vehicle and knocked it down. Of Turkish origin, the man shouted “Allahu Akbar” before starting to pray at the scene of the accident. The police said he was “deranged”. Indeed, what level-headed person would do that?

And during the same hours, Mathis, 20 years old, and Ibrahim, 18 years old, two residents of Verviers, Belgium, were arrested for the “Pati 2” project named after the French professor who was slaughtered by an Islamic terrorist on 16 October 2020. Mathis and Ibrahim had already purchased a machete. They first damaged the chapel of Our Lady of the Poor in Stavelot and trampled on a cross. “I am Muslim,” Ibrahim told the judge. “I accept Allah as the sole judge, I totally renounce your laws.” They wanted to kill a professor who “speaks badly of the Koran”.

Three attacks in 24 hours, but for the Western media it is as if nothing happened.

It seems that all compass has been lost and the desire for a transition towards a new cultural entity is stronger than ever in Europe. It might be great, but it might not be so great…Surely such an unprecedented transformation cannot fail to have consequences. We are in the midst of an upheaval of our identity, our majority customs and our democratic structure that disappear in masochistic flagellation.

And then “diversity” will end and a new homogeneity will reign.

The time for political intransigence and cultural tenacity should have come long ago, but it is not without reason that “L’amour toujours” is sung in every bar, on every beach and at every festival of Europe.
