France: A man of Turkish origin knocked over a Catholic cross with his van. After shouting ‘Allahu Akbar’, he started an Islamic prayer on the spot

According to reports obtained by Le JDD, the man deliberately drove his van backwards into the monument before securing it with a belt and knocking it over. The man, who is of Turkish origin, shouted ‘Allahu Akbar’ before starting to pray at the scene.

When the police arrived, the man behaved calmly but spoke incoherent religious words. It turned out that the person suffered from repeated psychological problems. His wife confirmed that he had already been admitted to a psychiatric facility at the beginning of May. www.lejdd.fr

Germany: Slap in the Face for Left-Wing Parties in Local Elections

It is curious how all the mainstream parties unanimously declare to voters that the AfD’s election victory under Björn Höcke is not really an election victory.

Left-wing parties took a heavy beating in local and mayoral elections in the eastern German state of Thuringia on Sunday, May 26th. The parties of the minority government of Thuringia—the Social Democrats (SPD), the hard-left Die Linke, and the Greens—could only garner an insubstantial 23% of the votes, a sign that Germans have had enough of the energy, green and migration policies that have left the country in an economically and socially dire state.

The clear winner of the elections was the centre-right CDU and the right-wing, anti-globalist Alternative für Deutschland (AfD), two parties which are in opposition both in the Thuringian parliament and in the Berlin Bundestag. The CDU garnered 27.6% of the votes, modestly improving on its 27.3% result from the elections five years ago. The biggest gains were made by AfD, which went from 17.7% to 26.4%.

The Social Democrats, who are the largest governing party in Berlin, managed to get only 11.1% (down from 13.4%), and their Berlin coalition partners, the Greens and the liberal FDP finished on 3.8% and 2.7% respectively (down from 7.5% and 4.8%). The leftist Die Linke, which has led the Thuringian government for the past ten years, suffered the biggest losses, dropping from its previous 14% to just 8.4%. The rest of the votes went to independents and other, smaller parties.

Mario Voigt—Thuringia CDU leader—said the parties of the government had lost the people’s trust because of their policies in recent years. As the politician told The European Conservative in an interview in January,

The hard-working people of this country feel that the traffic light coalition is constantly reaching into their pockets through higher burdens, raising the cost of living, more bureaucracy, high numbers of illegal migrants.

Since coming to power in 2021, left-wing parties have been losing support throughout Germany and are set to lose next year’s federal elections. Meanwhile, the CDU and AfD have become the two strongest parties, profiting from a series of harmful decisions and political infighting within the Berlin coalition that have made the German energy, cost of living, and migration crises more severe.

The local elections on Sunday will be followed by state elections later this year in Thuringia, as well as in Brandenburg and Saxony, which will determine who gets to govern these eastern German states.

Disillusionment with the government and mainstream parties is even more visible in this part of Germany: according to opinion polls, AfD is projected to win all three elections with around 25-35% of the votes. A similarly anti-globalist and anti-immigration—but leftist—party, Bündnis Sahra Wagenknecht (BSW), which split from Die Linke last year, could finish third or fourth with 10-15%.

“It must be taken into account that the Bündnis Sahra Wagenknecht only ran sporadically in these local elections. In the European elections on June 9th and the state elections on September 1st, it will be in serious competition with Die Linke,” Hermann Binkert, head of the INSA polling institute told Der Tagesspiegel. Of the AfD he said that, despite recent scandals surrounding the party, it has significantly improved its result in Thuringia by almost ten percentage points. The AfD was kicked out of the right-wing Identity and Democracy group in the European Parliament last week after the party’s lead candidate in the EP elections, Maximilian Krah, made comments deemed to relativise the SS. This may have put a dent in the AfD’s until recently soaring popularity.

Conservative publication Tichys Einblick writes that if the AfD was expected to have a better showing at the local elections, it would only have itself to blame, but also the concerted efforts of the mainstream parties, the media, and the domestic intelligence agency, the BfV, to undermine the credibility of the party. Another conservative outlet, Apollo Newscriticised the mainstream media for reporting on the local elections as if the AfD was the party that had suffered losses, and not its left-wing rivals. According to the publication, the results mean it will become virtually impossible to maintain the cordon sanitaire or Brandmauer (firewall) around the party on a local level, because the mainstream parties do not have enough votes combined to form a majority.

Video: Illegal migrant brutally stabs Polish soldier at border with Belarus, 50 migrants attack medical teams and soldiers attempting to aid their colleague

During attacks on the Polish-Belarusian border, migrants have been documented using stones, branches, and bottles as projectiles, and some are armed with dangerous tools with blades. (Source: X@Straz_Graniczna)

A migrant attempting to illegally cross the border from Belarus into Poland stabbed a Polish soldier on Tuesday, with the police sharing footage of the shocking incident that was recorded from a surveillance camera.

The attack on the Polish soldier occurred during a patrol along the border on Tuesday morning. Other officers were also injured during the incident, which involved a clash with around 50 illegal migrants.

According to prosecutors, the attack happened at around 4:30 a.m. The assailant reached through a gap in the steel barrier and stabbed the soldier in the ribs, with the knife becoming lodged in the soldier’s body.

Footage of the incident shows that immediate medical assistance was provided, and the soldier was transported to a hospital in Hajnówka, eastern Poland. During attempts to aid the injured soldier, the illegal migrants continued to attack the border patrol. The wounded soldier’s life is not in danger, and his family is receiving psychological assistance to cope with the situation.

The Polish military prosecution service has announced that it is investigating the incident, which has been classified as attempted murder, and secured webcam footage from the border guard service.

In the past few months, violence has escalated significantly

In recent years, Polish media and films have portrayed the migrants as innocent victims attempting to seek a better life in Europe, but Polish soldiers and border guards have been routinely attacked by what are mostly migrant males.

In separate incidents on the border, a border guard was attacked with a broken bottle, suffered facial injuries and was taken to the hospital, and in another incident, a guard was injured in the arm by an assailant who used a spear with a knife attached.

The Polish Border Guard has highlighted an alarming rise in violent incidents at the Polish-Belarusian border. According to their latest statement, border officers are increasingly facing aggressive behavior from migrants attempting to cross into Poland.

The report details numerous assaults on the border guards, stating that in the past few months, the violence has escalated significantly. Four border guards have been injured as a result of these confrontations. Migrants have been documented using stones, branches, and bottles as projectiles, and some are armed with dangerous tools, including knives. Additionally, slingshots have been used in attacks, which can shoot projectiles at high rates of speed, leading to the risk of serious eye injuries.

The situation has not only put the border guards at risk but has also led to substantial damage to border patrol vehicles. Incidents of smashed windows and significant damage to vehicles’ bodywork were specifically noted in the report.

‘Foreigners Out’: German EDM Song With Nationalist Lyrics ‘Ausländer Raus’ Becomes a Sensation Among Youth – Police to Crack Down on ‘Racism’ (VIDEOS)

Germany is the fatherland of unchecked mass migration, the suicidal set of EU policies that were once forcefully championed by former Chancellor Angela Merkel, the woman that became the symbol of the destruction of the European nations’ social tissue via an uncontrolled flux of foreigners.

Is anyone surprised that importing culturally disparate economic migrants by the millions would create a strong backlash?

Did they expect the European peoples’ to just lay down and die?

Breitbart reports that ‘Young people are the most right-wing generation in Germany’. That seems an inevitable consequence.

And now, a great controversy has arisen as a ‘eurodance rave classic with reworked lyrics calling for foreigners to be deported’ has become a youth anthem, leading the country’s ‘authorities’ to plan to intervene.

Because, of course, the main civic duty Europe demands of its subjects is the acceptance of migrants – whatever the cost.

“German youth are increasingly right wing and the anti-mass migration AfD party is now the most popular among 14 to 29-year-olds, recent polling shows. While this may have an impact at the ballot box — Germany and its neighbors vote in the EU elections in two weeks — it is also emerging in culture.

German politicians and media have reacted with outrage several times in the past year as video clips of young people dancing and singing along to a song proclaiming ‘Deutschland den Deutschen, Ausländer Raus’, ‘Germany for the Germans, foreigners out’, keep emerging. The latest such instance which has again set fingers wagging comes from an apparently exclusive nightclub on the German holiday island of Sylt.”

Are they moving their hand in dance moves or are they ‘Hitler salutes’? The question is burning through German media.

It’s an incredible irony that the German establishment that will now persecute young people for singing and dancing to a song that may or not be unkind to strangers – suspected Nazis, right? – is the very same establishment that sends untold billions in aid to real-life, present-day Azov Nazis in Ukraine.

UK govt realises teachers need protection from ‘blasphemy’ allegations: The threat of Islamist violence is already a reality in Europe

UK government to provide protection to teachers from blasphemy allegations based on recommendations by a commission led by Lord Walney (Image: The Guardian)

The government of the United Kingdom has realised that there is an urgent need to protect teachers from blasphemy allegations. To protect teachers from Islamist extremism within Europe, a government-commissioned report has put forth recommendations to ensure that the right to freedom of expression among teachers is legally upheld. The report came after the commission was set up following a series of incidents where teachers were subjected to violent backlash for their teachings. Notably, it is no longer uncommon for a teacher to face backlash from the Islamic community in Europe for anything and everything that Muslims feel is blasphemous.

The commission was chaired by the advisor on political violence and disruption, Lord Walney. In the report, the commission has put forth recommendations to ensure teachers freely and legally practice their freedom of expression. These proposals include barring the educational institutes from automatically suspending staff members in response to complaints of blasphemous actions against the teacher(s). It also provided clear guidance that there is no obligation on schools’ part to consult religious groups to find out if the content that is being studied in the schools is potentially “offensive” or not.

In a post on X, Walney said, “Encouraging to hear. Hope all parties will commit to this. Teachers could get legal protection from blasphemy claims.”

The recommendations came after a series of troubling incidents in the UK. For example, in 2021, a teacher from Batley Grammar School in West Yorkshire received death threats after he showed a cartoon of Prophet Mohammed from the French satirical magazine Charlie Hebdo in the classroom during a religious studies lesson. The life of the teacher faced unrecoverable disruptions even though the investigation into the matter cleared his name. The investigation revealed he had no intention to offend anyone but he still had to go into hiding after the incident.

Another incident was reported in Wakefield, West Yorkshire, where a slightly damaged copy of the Quran at a High School was recorded as a “Hate Incident” by the local police. The overreaction from the authorities exposed how they succumbed to the pressure tactics of the Muslim community and imposed de facto blasphemy laws over small matters. Following the incidents, then-Home Secretary Suella Braverman introduced a code of conduct to protect freedom of expression. The report talked about several other such cases that happened at different schools leading to suspension of the teacher and threats to the teacher and his or her family.

Notably, the above-mentioned two incidents were not isolated. A trend of censoring teachers in schools in the name of “offending religious sensibilities” has been going on in the UK. According to a survey done by YouGov in 2023, it was revealed that one in every six teachers in the UK changed their curriculum on religion after the Batley controversy. Many teachers expressed concerns about intimidation and potential violent repercussions.

The report by Lord Walney underscored the necessity of guidelines to manage so-called blasphemy-related incidents. It would prevent schools from publicly identifying the teachers involved in such cases which would help in saving them from any aggressive harassment. It also aimed to rectify the deep impact on freedom of speech in the classrooms across the country.

Over time, the Islamist slogan of “Sar Tan Se Juda” has gained popularity across the world. Raised by Islamists, it means to call for beheading the person who insults Prophet Mohammed. The slogan found its roots in Pakistan and was echoed in the Indian subcontinent soon enough. The slogans later found a place within European Islamist circles. It is often used to intimidate and threaten people to stop them from saying anything against Islam.

“Ghustakh e Rasool Ki Ek Hi Saza, Sar Tan Se Juda”, means anyone who offends or disrespects the Prophet should be beheaded without fail. In Islam, the punishment for the apostate, the infidel and the blasphemer is death. The ideology has been manifested verbatim by countless fanatics across the world over centuries.

Suella Braverman and her predecessor Priti Patel have backed the recommendations tabled in the report by Walney. They emphasised the fact that Britain must not capitulate to Islamic Sharia laws under the guise of protecting religious sentiments. The leaders argued that the fundamental British values of freedom of speech and expression must be upheld. If someone feels his or her sentiments are hurt, they should choose formal processes to deal with it and not the mob rule.

Teachers, students and society at large need protection from any kind of Islamic violence and imposition of blasphemy codes. Especially when Europe finds it hard to resist the rising Islamic influence on the society.

Germany: Tunisian kills 28-year-old and videos her death throes

Wikimedia Commons, Daviidos,  CC-BY-SA-4.0

The trial has begun in Frankfurt against a 17-year-old Tunisian man who is accused of brutally murdering a young woman. The public prosecutor’s office accuses Mohamed Ali S. of killing 28-year-old Blanca C. on the 3rd of October 2023, reports the Bild newspaper. The Tunisian filmed the murder with a mobile phone. ‘I killed her’, he boasts in the video.

The alleged perpetrator and the victim are said to have met that evening in a bar. Under the influence of alcohol and cocaine, they then went to the woman’s flat, according to investigators. ‘Then they went to her flat and wanted to have consensual sex,’ public prosecutor Constanze Jung told the newspaper.

However, the 17-year-old foreigner had problems getting an erection. Blanca C. is therefore said to have laughed at him. Prosecutor Jung: ‘He punched her, choked and throttled her.’ The Tunisian is of strong build and about 1.90 metres tall. He filmed the young woman’s death throes.

Witness reports led to the arrest of S. in his parents’ flat in the Bonames district of Frankfurt that same night. A high-rise housing estate for migrants had been built there since the 1970s. Blanca C.’s flat is around ten kilometres away in Frankfurt-Sachsenhausen, south of the city centre.

The alleged murderer Mohamed Ali S. faces a comparatively lenient sentence as he is not yet of legal age. ‘Under juvenile criminal law, there are only prison sentences of up to ten years,’ explained the public prosecutor. The trial continues.

Indictments rain down in Poland ahead of European Parliament elections

Jarosław Kaczyński, Wikimedia Commons , Kancelaria Sejmu, CC-BY-2.0

With less than two weeks to go before the European Parliament elections, the Polish Government is issuing a raft of indictments against officials from the former ruling Conservatives (PiS).

The determination of the administration led by Prime Minister Donald Tusk to pursue PiS-appointed public officials was signalled in Tusk’s election manifesto ahead of last autumn’s Polish national elections.

One such indictment being prepared in Poland’s Parliament is against Adam Glapinski, the head of Poland’s central bank (NBP), for alleged politicisation of the bank and illegal funding of the budget deficit.

That indictment is currently being examined by the Parliament’s legal office.

Perhaps more worrying for the PiS is the likely indictment of the former justice minister in the PiS government, Zbigniew Ziobro, who is seriously ill with cancer. That case relates to alleged revelations from a whistleblower, as well as illicitly recorded tapes, of the alleged misuse of the Justice Fund, a vehicle intended to support victims of crime.

Speaking on public radio on May 27, MP and National Judicial Council member Kamila Gasiuk-Pihowicz, said the recordings allegedly showed that PiS ministers “ordered that grants be steered towards a hospital at which PiS leader Jarosław Kaczyński was twice operated on” and she accused Ziobro’s associates of “acting like a mafia”.

Michał Woś, a former minister in the PiS administration and close ally of Ziobro, hit back telling Brussels Signal: “There was nothing illegal in making grants to hospitals … hundreds of such grants were made”.

He also claimed that “the content of the illicit tapes reveals that the deputy minister responsible, Rafał Romanowski, actually said that where politicians are treated should not be a factor in making decisions on the allocation of grants”.

Tusk’s party has also signalled it is setting up a Russian influence commission, having disbanded its predecessor created by the PiS government, to prepare an indictment against former defence minister Antoni Macierewicz for actions that the KO alleges undermined national security.

An investigative parliamentary committee has also submitted an indictment against Jarosław Kaczyński, the PiS leader, and former PM Mateusz Morawiecki.

The committee was tasked with examining the validity of measures taken to prepare for and conduct the 2020 presidential elections in Poland via postal voting, which included directives issued to the Post Office that attracted criticism from the national audit service.

Kaczyński is set to be indicted for allegedly “imposing the policy on the government” and Morawiecki for his alleged breaking of the law in attempting to hold the so-called mail-in ballot.

Both have argued they were acting in the public interest and in line with the Constitution to ensure the presidential election could be held within the time limits envisaged by electoral law.

In the end, the mail-in ballot was scrapped and it was decided to hold the election by traditional means a few weeks later in the same year.

To be enacted, these indictments would have to be accompanied by removal of parliamentary immunity for both Kaczyński and Morawiecki. If the pair are then convicted, they would lose their parliamentary seats and could face being barred from holding public office for 10 years.

In addition, the ruling parliamentary majority made up of Tusk’s KO, the centrist Third Way alliance and the Left Party, is also hoping for two more parliamentary investigative committees which could indict other PiS politicians.

One committee, appointed to investigate irregularities in the issuance of visas, has not found any additional evidence of wrongdoing to that already uncovered by the PiS government. Another, appointed to look into any illicit use of Pegasus software for the surveillance of public figures, has found all instances were sanctioned by judges in accordance with the law.

The Polish PM’s party is also threatening an indictment against Daniel Obajtek, the former CEO of Polish fuel giant Orlen, for allegedly refusing to appear before one of the investigative parliamentary committees unless he was personally served with a warrant.

Thus far, no such summons has been served on Obajtek, leading to jokes in the media about a Polish remake of the 2002 Spielberg comedy movie Catch Me If You Can.

The push for indictments comes as the KO and PiS are neck-and-neck in the latest polls ahead of the European Parliament elections.

The last time Tusk headed a national poll was in 2014: before the EP elections that year. Since then the PiS has topped the polls for all national elections, only losing power in 2023 after opposition parties formed a majority coalition against it.

SCOTLAND: Violent Serial Rapist Announces Gender Transition Behind Bars, Complains He Has Not Been Given “Gender Affirming” Care

A serial rapist and attempted murderer has begun identifying as a “woman” while in prison, where he says he has been denied “gender affirming” care by corrections officials. David Smith is serving an order of lifelong restriction after being convicted of 14 offenses, including 8 counts of rape and attempting to murder his pregnant girlfriend. He was also previously found guilty in England of indecently assaulting a 5-year-old child.

Smith has requested prison staff refer to him by the name “Attila Taylor” and is seeking out transgender medical procedures, a wig, and prosthetic breasts. Speaking with the Scottish Sun over the phone, Smith argued for his right to obtain whatever accommodations and accessories he pleased.

“The prison’s gender identity and reassignment policy clearly states things they have to allow me access to… That’s wigs, prosthetics and shaving equipment — and they have been trying to decline that at every possible opportunity,” he said. “I just want the access to be able to live in the body of a female before I have the surgery.”

Smith is currently begin held in MP Barlinnie prison, a men’s facility, and prison officials have been adamant that there is no possibility Smith will be moved to a female facility. This is the result of a 2023 revision to the prison guidelines in the UK which barred male prisoners with intact male genitalia or a conviction relating to sexual offenses from being housed in the female prison estate.

Curiously, during his interview, Smith complained that there were too many males pretending to be women. He blasted fellow Scottish rapist Adam Graham, also known as Isla Bryson, for making it more difficult for trans inmates to be moved to women’s prisons. Smith accused Bryson of being “male” and not being a real transgender individual.

“I fucking hate people that come out as trans and then don’t go through with it. To me that is not a trans woman, that is not a woman at all. That is still a male,” Smith said about Bryson.

Bryson, 32, made international headlines last year after he was placed in a female prison while awaiting trial on two counts of rape. He was referred to with feminine pronouns both in court and in UK media coverage, and court documents had referred to the rapes as having been carried out with a female penis.

Bryson was ultimately convicted on both counts in January of 2023, and his case helped to raise awareness of the issue of male rapists who identify as transgender being placed in women’s prisons. One month later, prison reforms would come into effect that were almost a direct result of backlash against Bryson’s placement in a women’s prison.

Smith stated he began identifying as female in 2022 but that the prison has refused to update his gender marker.

“I have NHS records that show when I came out as trans. The prison are refusing to change my gender on the computer and until they do, I can’t apply for a gender recognition certificate, so I’ll never be classed as female, irrelevant to surgery,” he told the Scottish Sun.

Smith was sentenced in 2018 to a minimum of 5 years in prison but was warned by the Judge Lord Kinclaven that he may never be freed. Smith’s ex girlfriend, who was pregnant at the time of the attack, waved her right to anonymity to describe the horrific abuse Smith had subjected her to.

Ashleigh Stewart, who was 29 at the time, was forced to jump 40 feet from a window onto concrete to escape Smith, who had been threatening her with a knife and hedge shears. Smith had attempted to stab and strangle his then-girlfriend to death, chasing the pregnant woman around his flat in a scene that was described by media as being reminiscent of “The Shining.” As Stewart fled the enraged Smith, he plunged a blade through the closed door narrowly missing the woman. The altercation began after Smith accused her of having smiled at a stranger.

“All of a sudden he turned and started smashing up the flat. He was calling me a cow and a slut and was threatening to kidnap my daughter. He spat on my face and grabbed me,” Stewart said, describing her traumatizing ordeal.

Stewart, who was 4 weeks pregnant with Smith’s child and had a child from a previous relationship, described how she had met Smith only 3 months before the attack. The relationship moved quickly, and once Stewart had moved in with him, Smith’s true violent nature began to show. Stewart recounted how her ex would get drunk, and both physically and sexually assault her. He was also extremely jealous and possessive.

“He started to accuse me of sleeping with people, slagging my family off. He was just a horrible person. Then he started getting violent and everything else,” Stewart said, describing her relationship with Smith.

The campaign of abuse cumulated in Smith chasing her around the flat screaming “I’ll kill you bitch.” Left with no other choice, Stewart threw herself out of a window in a desperate attempt to escape Smith’s murderous rage. She was left with six broken ribs, collapsed lungs, a fractured skull, a shattered breast bone, and a serious leg injury as a result.

“I only remember waking up on the ground and yelling for someone to call the police. David came out and pretended to be all nice but I was screaming for him to get away from me. Then I conked out again and I woke up in hospital the next day with pins and plates in my leg,” Stewart said regarding the fall.

“I was in excruciating pain — the bone came out through my leg. I am so grateful to be alive.”

Smith was finally arrested following the incident, but during the investigation it came to light he had abused and raped a second woman, a former partner, in multiple incidents between 2011 and 2015. The second victim told police that Smith was extremely jealous, often interrogating her about her whereabouts and locking her in his apartment.

The violent abuser was ultimately convicted of two counts of rape against the second victim. One incident took place in December of 2014, during which Smith punched and repeatedly kicked the woman. In another incident, he seized the victim by the throat and strangled her unconscious.

It was also revealed that Smith had a previous conviction for assaulting a 5-year-old in England.

As a result of his extensive and extremely violent history, a Judge determined that he met the criteria to be classified as a “high risk offender,” a label that was applied after he underwent a psychiatric evaluation. In response, Smith’s defense attorney argued that he was an “intelligent man” who has the “capacity for change.”

Smith was sentenced to a minimum term of five years in jail, but the sentence is effectively indefinite as he will only be released when parole authorities determine he serves no risk to the public.

Smith has also been placed on the sex offenders’ register indefinitely.

Germany Naturalizes Highest Number of Citizens in 25 Years

The German government has broken records for the number of foreigners being given citizenship, with official statistics reporting 200,100 naturalisations in 2023 alone. The main beneficiaries of this trend are young men from Syria.

Under Angela Merkel and the Christian Democratic Union of Germany (CDU), borders were seriously weakened. Now even the CDU has warned that the country’s migration policies have “taken a completely wrong turn.” Reactions to the mass naturalisation of Germany’s 14 million foreign-born population—a priority for the ruling left-liberal ‘traffic light’ coalition led by Chancellor Olaf Scholz—help explain the surging popularity of the sovereigntist Alternative für Deutschland (AfD) at the polls.

The German Federal Statistics Office reported a jump of more than 40% in naturalisations since 2021, with 75,000 Syrians alone receiving a German passport and the right to vote just last year.

Approximately 5.3 million immigrants who have been residents in Germany for the past ten years could be eligible to receive citizenship under a new law. Future applicants could be required to be residents of Germany for a mere five years (under certain circumstances, three years) before receiving citizenship—down from a previous eight-year residency requirement.

These new progressive plans would alter the country demographically to the point where even establishment politicians are now expressing fears of the rise of political Islam, led by the country’s seven million strong Turkish diaspora community. CDU MP Andrea Lindholz has threatened to undo the measures if her party is elected.

AfD party leader Alice Weidel categorically opposed the naturalisation plans when speaking in the German Bundestag earlier this month, saying that the country risked “the import of foreign conflicts and the influence of foreign powers on growing parts of the German population,” as well as warning of the impact on the country’s public finances.

The Bundestag has been debating migration reform since January, aiming to reduce waiting times to attain citizenship from eight years to five—or, in the case of migrants demonstrating “special integration achievements,” three. This occurred against the backdrop of official statistics that showed Germany receiving 352,000 asylum applications in 2023 alone (not counting Germany’s one million Ukrainian refugees).

Alleged Isis propagandist Elmahdi arrested in Turin, Italy

screen grab youtube

Police in Turin on Tuesday arrested Halili Elmahdi, a 29-year-old suspected of being the main author of Italian-language ISIS propaganda, sources said.
The Moroccan national, who allegedly carried out radicalisation and proselytising activities on the Internet, faces charges of terrorism association.
It is the third time he has been arrested.
He also ended up in handcuffs in 2015 and in 2018, when he lived in Lanzo, near Turin, again over terrorism charges and links with the Daesh.
He had obtained Italian citizenship but was stripped of this after being convicted.
After being released from prison in July 2023, a legal technicality prevented Elmahdi from being deported.
Investigators said his fundamentalist beliefs hardened during his time in jail and he became increasingly violent, both during during his detention and after his release.
