It’s Ramadan in Germanistan – I don’t think they can be saved, the German Catholic idiots, they have delved so deeply into masochism

by Giulio Meotti

In the first century, the historian Sallust wrote of the Roman Republic: “Decadence and arrogance are the natural dividends of prosperity.”

These are also Western dividends and Ayaan Hirsi Ali is right when, in her lectio this week named for Russell Kirk, she attacks the “suicidal degeneration of the West”.

They want to make everything collapse, without caring about the avalanche that will inevitably overwhelm them too, she asserted.

This week the London Underground stations (“the most anti-Semitic city in the West” according to Israel) began broadcasting the time of Islamic prayer with the Hadith of the day. The poor traveller, looking for the train timetable, finds a saying from the Prophet Muhammad instea.

But if you thought it was an English specialty, like the gray sky of London or fish and chips, you were very wrong!

“Those who feared a creeping Islamization of Germany will feel relieved,” says the Swiss Weltwoche. “Frankfurt am Main is the first city in the Federal Republic to hang Ramadan lights. The mayor Verde of the city speaks of lights ‘of the union against discrimination’. The fact is that while Christmas trees disappear in nurseries, Christmas parties are canceled in schools for reasons of religious tolerance and crosses disappear from buildings, elsewhere everything is being done to make Islam more and more visible in Germany”.

In Frankfurt, 15 percent of the population is already Muslim. In the great postmodern void, Islam gallops forward.

“The public lighting for Ramadan in Frankfurt and Cologne is wonderful” comment the German Catholics. I don’t think they can be saved, the Catholic idiots, they have delved so deeply into masochism.

Meanwhile, as a by product, anti-Semitism flares up.

After Frankfurt, Cologne: anyone walking through the streets of the cathedral-city will see crescents, the words “Kareem” and “Ramadan”. The city where Benedict XVI made his first papal journey.

And the SPD proposes to light up Berlin for Ramadan as well. Why not, given that in Berlin there are just 9 percent of Catholics compared to 10 percent of Muslims? In the German capital, Islam has already overtaken Catholicism.

And it doesn’t matter that the majority of Germans are against submission.

We read from Konrad Adam, former editor of the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung and correspondent of Die Welt: “The old Lutheran church in Kolk, one of the oldest places of worship in the city of Wuppertal, will be sold. Like most buildings in my hometown, it was destroyed during the war, rebuilt and only recently fully restored. It is no coincidence that the Barmen Declaration was born in Wuppertal, the first and most important document with which the evangelical Church expressed its resistance to the Third Reich.

“But today there is no longer much evidence of such faith. Muslims have outnumbered Christians and two mosques have sprung up where a church was closed. Turkish travel agencies line up along the Gathe, one of the main streets, interrupted by a Turkish kindergarten so under Turkish supervision.

“This is where the ‘Sharia police’ was born, which requires women during evening patrols to cover their heads, wear long dresses and be submissive to their men. And here, on a vast abandoned site, Ditib, the German branch of the Turkish religious authority, wants to build its new central mosque, a huge complex with a kindergarten, youth home and apartments for the elderly, for 30 million euros.”

Meanwhile, the muezzin is also at home in Aachen, the city of Charlemagne and his cathedral. The city is changing the names of its squares to make room for Islam. Moscheeplatz is the new name of a square wanted by the mayor in agreement with Ditib, the German organization headed by Erdogan: “I am very happy as mayor to have a Mosque Square”.

Every morning I hope that Muslims do not end up totally spreading over a West emptied of meaning. I hope, but put not your faith in my hope.

Germany: Foreigners responsible for 100% of serious sexual assault cases in Frankfurt, 57.4% of all crimes

Wikimedia Commons , Lupus in Saxonia,CC-BY-SA-4.0

The new crime statistics from the German city of Frankfurt contain shocking figures regarding foreigners and major crimes, including one particular figure that shows they are responsible for 100 percent of all serious sexual assault crimes and 57.4 percent of all crimes.

The data shows that even for the worst crimes, well over half of all suspects are foreigners — those without a German passport. The rest of the suspects, 42.6 percent, are German citizens, but it is important to note that the data does not track whether these German suspects have a migration background, as Germany does not record this data.

When it comes to crimes against life, 54 percent of cases of murder were committed by foreigners, while they were responsible for 64.8 percent of cases involving manslaughter.

Sexual crimes

When it comes to serious sexual crimes, foreigners are also vastly overrepresented, with the data showing they were also responsible for 64.1 percent of all rape cases. In one of the most extreme data points from the new statistics, foreigners were responsible for 100 percent of serious sexual assault cases.

In cases of sexual harassment, foreigners were responsible for 64.4 percent of cases, while foreigners were responsible for 57.1 percent of cases involving abuse of minors

Responding to the crime statistics, Police Chief Stefan Müller said: “The fuse in conflicts is short, and mutual respect is increasingly being lost. People are prepared to get into physical confrontations very early on.”

Robbery, theft and trafficking

Foreigners were also vastly overrepresented in robbery cases, including 65.5 percent of robberies, 75.6 percent of aggravated robbery, 93 percent of car thefts, 87.5 percent of handbag thefts, 93 percent of pickpocketing cases, 87.5 of violent burglaries, 80 percent of daytime burglaries, and 72.9 percent of street thefts.

Foreigners also committed 75 percent of money counterfeiting crimes, and 62.5 percent of sexual blackmail cases.

Foreigners were additionally responsible for 83.3 percent of human trafficking cases and the same amount of forced prostitution cases.

A police spokesman for Frankfurt told Germany’s Bild newspaper: “We have the airport here. This is a gateway. If we exclude the violations of immigration law from the statistics, we have a proportion of 57.4 percent of non-German suspects.” This number is far above the national average of 35 percent.

Frankfurt has a higher proportion of foreigners than the rest of Germany, but as a result, it may showcase what awaits the rest of Germany should the foreign population continue to grow. It is also not the only state experiencing this troubling development.

Nationwide and state-level trend

Federal crime statistics also show that foreigners are vastly overrepresented in serious crimes such as murder, rape, robbery, and assault.

And last week, Bavarian Interior Minister Joachim Herrmann stated that foreigners are responsible for a vastly higher share of crime compared to their share of the population.

“We will not accept the increase in crime, even if it is a nationwide trend for which foreigners and immigrants are particularly responsible,” Herrmann said in a press release on Monday last week. “The crime statistics make it clear that uncontrolled immigration also has a negative impact on the security situation.”

“It is particularly important to take those foreigners who pose a threat to public safety out of the country as quickly as possible after serving their sentence. In addition, we finally need a fundamental change of course in asylum policy and, above all, an effective containment of illegal migration,” he added.

In regard to sexual assault and rape, women are increasingly victimized in Germany due to mass immigration. Data released earlier this year shows that 8,590 women and men were raped or sexually assaulted by foreigners since 2015.

Responding to the data, Christian Democrat (CDU) MP Christoph de Vries, who is also a member of the Interior Committee, said: “It is obvious that the risk of women becoming victims of rape or other sexual offenses in Germany has increased significantly in recent years due to asylum migration from Arab and Maghreb countries.”

The co-chair of the Alternative for Germany (AfD), Alice Weidel, told the NZZ that the numbers are “unbelievable” and that “behind every case there is a terrible personal fate.”

Britons furious as Central London covered in ‘Happy Ramadan’ lights over Easter

Screen grab youtube

Ramadan lights on display across central London over the Easter weekend has prompted concern over support for other major faiths during important festivals.

Lights in Oxford Street and between Piccadilly Circus and Leicester Square were switched on earlier this month by London mayor Sadiq Khan.

It is the second time the Muslim celebration has been marked with lights in London.

The lights which read “Happy Ramadan” are funded by the Aziz Foundation, a charity founded by Asif Aziz.

The property developer owns sites including the London Trocadero located between Piccadilly Circus and Leicester Square.

The display has received praise but also sparked questions over why an Easter feature has not been put in place ahead of this weekend.

Writing on social media, one person said: “Insult to everyone who is Christian, they have never done Easter lights for us.”

Another said: “We are a Christian country. Easter is one of the main feasts in the Christian calendar. It should not be overshadowed by other religious events.”

While a third added: “Ramadan lights at Easter. This is cultural displacement.”

Paul Swaddle, leader of the minority Tory group on Westminster council, offers full support to the Ramadan lights but challenges why Westminster’s city hall offices do not feature an Easter display.

“The thing I would question is this: there has been a Ramadan celebration in the window of Westminster city hall. But I just wonder if the Easter one is going up very soon?” he told The Telegraph.

“Easter is one of the most important Christian festivals of the year but what are they [the Labour council] doing to celebrate it? I am not aware they are. I suspect the window display is not going to change.”

Ramadan occurs at a different time every year due to the alignment of the Moon and this year Easter falls within the same month.

A spokesman for Khan said: “Sadiq is proud that as Mayor he’s stood up for Londoners of all faiths, taking part in a host of festivals and celebrations, including around Easter. He’s attended churches around both Christmas and Easter, while visiting church-run foodbanks.

“The Mayor’s office continue to help facilitate the world-famous staging of the Passion of Christ in Trafalgar Square, which attracts thousands of people every year.

“Sadiq is immensely grateful for the hand of friendship offered to him by Christian friends and neighbours. This Sunday, Sadiq looks forward to joining a local church congregation as they celebrate Easter.”

Westminster City Council added that it “routinely supports” a wide range of other faith activities throughout the year including Christmas, Easter, Palm Sunday, Eid, Diwali and Hanukkah.

A spokesperson said: “The council supports festivals from different faith communities throughout the year, and the Ramadan lights form part of that activity.

“The West End hosts millions of visitors a year from around the world and these lights will add an attractive extra dimension to Oxford Street for those who observe Ramadan and those who don’t.”

‘What’s wrong with London’: Cricketer Kevin Pietersen and many others ask as violent street crimes spike in UK capital

SS from video posted on X of the knife attack in a train in London (L), England cricketer Kevin Pietersen (R)

On March 28, Thursday, former England cricket captain Kevin Pietersen took to X to voice his concerns about the staggering rate at which street crimes in London are rising.

Resharing a post by @CrimeLdn, which had posted a video of a recent knife attack on a train in London, the cricketer labelled London as “a disgrace of a place”.

The video shared by @CrimeLdn showed a man brutally stabbing another in a broad daylight attack on a train in London. The incident took place between Shortlands and Beckenham on a train heading to Victoria on Wednesday, March 27. The victim was reported to have serious injuries.

“WTAF is this now in London?!?!?! London was once the most amazing city. It’s an absolute disgrace of a place. • You cannot wear a watch of any value. • you cannot walk around with your phone in your hand. • women get their bags and jewellery ripped off them. • cars get smashed in for a quick smash and grab. • there’s this rubbing in the video below. @SadiqKhan must be really proud of what he’s created?!” Pietersen captioned his post.

Internet users were horrified by the audacious crime that occurred in the U.K.’s largest metropolis, that too in broad daylight. “London has become a ghetto run by gangs and criminals, but the mayor of London is concerned with ULEZ because, of course, climate change,” wrote @cevizor, expressing concern over the fact that London had become the epicentre of street crime while the government had looked the other way.

Many other X users also blamed the London government for the rise in street crimes in the city.

However, harsh it may sound the truth is that street crime has been rising in London over the last few years. In fact, last month, Indian renewable energy entrepreneur Devin Narang created quite a buzz after he said that people are apprehensive about wearing their expensive Rolex watches, especially in the poshest areas of London like Mayfair due to the risk of being mugged for their expensive watches.

Though he had not personally been targeted on his numerous trips to London, he said between five and eight Indian businesspeople have told him they have been mugged in the past few years.

Data from Watchfinder & Co. last year revealed that between 2015 and 2022, the number of stolen watches in England and Wales nearly doubled, from 6,696 to 11,035.

More than 6,000 of the thefts in 2022 took place in London.

Among the most well-known targets was Amir Khan, the former world boxing champion who was coerced into giving up his £70,000 Franck Muller watch during an armed robbery in east London in 2022.

Similarly, in an interview with The National in 2023, founding director of Beauchamp Estates Gary Hersham, who deals with high-end clients from the Gulf, stated that London must control crime if it hopes to continue being a global hub that draws in foreign investors.

“London is competing with other wealth centres around the world to attract investment, visitors and new full and part-time residents so the provision of security for both residential and commercial property, and controlling crime, is extremely important,” he said.

“Destinations such as Monaco, Dubai, Qatar and Abu Dhabi are popular with wealthy residents and visitors because security is taken extremely seriously.

Rowley is the representative for a region of Westminster Council that is near the Middle Eastern-populated Edgware Road neighbourhood of central London.

The borough is also home to a few of the city’s most wealthy neighbourhoods, renowned retail avenues, and many of the tourist attractions that draw in approximately 4.5 million people annually.

It is, however, also the “most dangerous” area of London, according to the CrimeRate database, with a crime rate that is 215 per cent higher than that of the entire city and 265 per cent higher than that of the entirety of England and Wales.

Data shows knife crimes and theft in London increasing exponentially year after year

According to Met Police data, the region saw a 32% increase in crime in the year ending in April compared to the same period in 2022 with theft being the most common offence.

Data shows that throughout the same period, stealing increased by 66% and robbery by 34%.

In comparison to 2021, knife crime increased by 25% in 2022 and 12% from March to April of 2023, the data revealed.

With 2,834 offences and an 8 crime rate in 2023, other theft is the most common crime in the City of London, according to CrimeRate. This represents a 25% increase over the 2,260 offences in 2022 and a 1.60 increase over the 6 crime rate in 2022.

Moreover, knife crime is common in London, with some of the city’s wealthiest neighbourhoods serving as hubs for robberies and knife crimes. The most unsafe location in London is the Westminster Council neighbourhood near Edgware Road in the heart of the city, with a crime rate that is 215% greater than that of the entire city.

Along with knife crime, “theft from a person”—a category that includes stealing watches, handbags, and cell phones—rose by 27% in 2022 compared to the previous year. Metropolitan Police statistics show that in the year ending December 2023, there were 72,756 such instances in the capital, up from 57,468 in the year prior.

Mayfair, which is located in Westminster, has been especially hard hit; last year, theft from an individual increased by 40%. In 2023, there were 25,650 of these instances, as opposed to 18,310 in 2022.

Police have documented a wave of watch and cell phone thefts committed by gangs riding mopeds and e-bikes.

To be honest, based on the information above, it’s safe to assume that pickpockets, con artists, and muggers have made London into a hotbed of petty crimes, freely robbing locals and visitors alike. However, these facts are not even worth a debate to the pseudo-liberals who are otherwise eager to discredit India. Recently, one such group of anti-India trolls trended ‘What’s wrong with India?’ on X, where they used petty crimes happening in India to show it in a bad light.

It is questionable if the Western media, which has always been eager to disparage India, would turn inward and voice worries about problems that exist in their own countries as well. Take London for example, which has developed into an epicentre for petty crimes as well as organised crimes like drug smuggling and financial fraud.

Cardinal Müller slams ‘disgraceful’ Vatican meeting with German bishops to ‘negotiate faith and morals’

Cardinal Müller, screen grab youtube

Cardinal Gerhard Müller strongly criticized “negotiations” between the Vatican and German bishops about the heretical German Synodal Way and accused “German Synodalists” of effectively blaming Christ for sin by falsely claiming that His Commandments are responsible for the abuse crisis.

In an interview with Austrian news outlet kath.net, Cardinal Müller was asked about the recent meeting between German bishops and members of the Vatican Curia.

“The German Synodalists are completely wrong not only in terms of content but also in terms of method,” the former head of the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith declared.

“They are victims of their own propaganda tricks by attributing the personal fault of individuals (by priests, religious and lay people) in a socialist-collectivist interpretation as systemically conditioned to the Holy Orders instituted by Christ and the hierarchical-sacramental Church structure founded by Him, thus making Christ Himself the author of sin against God.”

“A Freiburg commission has accused child Confession of being an opportunity for sexual or authoritarian abuse of children on the part of the confessor, thereby declaring Jesus responsible, who said, ‘Let the children come to me,’” Cardinal Müller continued. “In their ideological blindness and pathological anti-clericalism, they do not realize their atheism.”

“At the same time, the atheist-communist government in Hong Kong has abolished the secrecy of Confession and imposed draconian penalties on those who adhere to it.”

“A disastrous parallel that has its roots in the denial of God and thus also of his grace, which is conveyed in the seven sacraments of the Holy Church!”

The main argument put forth to justify the proposed changes to perennial Church teaching on sexuality by the proponents of the Synodal Way is that priestly celibacy and “rigid” sexual morals were responsible for the abuse crisis in the Church. As Cardinal Müller explained, the heretical German bishops who support the Synodal Way are, therefore, indirectly accusing Christ of causing sexual abuse through the moral law He established.

The notion that a more “progressive” church would prevent sexual abuse was recently shattered by a large abuse study showing that Protestants in Germany, despite not having priestly celibacy and increasingly embracing the LGBT agenda, suffered from an equalling devastating sexual abuse crisis as the Catholic Church during the same time frame.

Cardinal Müller called the meeting between the German bishops and Vatican officials to “negotiate” on Church teaching absurd.

“The absurdity of German bishops, as successors of the apostles, coming to Rome to the successor of St. Peter to negotiate faith and morals as if the Church’s teachings were an offer to be sold to the highest bidder in the supermarket of ideologies is unfathomable,” he said.

“Instead of this disgraceful showdown at the negotiating table between worldly potentates, those involved should remember that the Church is not their property, but the flock of God, in which they are appointed by Christ in the Holy Spirit as shepherds (Acts 20:28) and teachers of the Word of God and not of man-made doctrines of salvation,” the prelate concluded.

African bishops proved ‘fidelity to Christ’ by opposing homosexual ‘blessings’

In the interview, Cardinal Müller was also asked about the rejection of the heterodox Vatican declaration Fiducia Supplicans, which purports to allow for “blessings” of homosexual “couples” and others in sinful relationships.

“It was an open confrontation like Paul had once demonstrated to us in the Antioch incident, where he asserted the ‘truth of the gospel’ (Gal 2:24) to a confused Peter,” the German cardinal said. “Although not in doctrine, Peter had deviated from the straight path when it came to putting it into practice.”

“With their fidelity to Christ, the African bishops rendered outstanding services to the apostolic deposit of faith (divinum fidei depositum).”

“Not only in Africa but also in many parts of the Catholic world and (arguably) all Orthodox churches, this hybrid of an ostensibly ‘pastoral’ blessing of sinful behavior has been rejected.”

“In fact, pastoral care for all people, including those in disordered circumstances, i.e., contrary to God’s will, aims to help them repent of their sins, obtain God’s forgiveness, and live a life of following Christ,” Cardinal Müller stated.

In a recent exclusive interview with LifeSiteNews, the cardinal denounced Fiducia Supplicans as “a propaganda trick” to win support from the LGBT movement and said that the document “was a heavy strike against matrimony.”

The Woke Shakedown of the Catholic Church – 2,000-year-old teachings get traded-in for climate change

Pope Francis’s first liturgical scandal occurred in October 2019 during the so-called Synod on the Amazon when statues of an idol representing the Mother Earth goddess, or Pachamama, were venerated in St. Peter’s Basilica.

During the ceremonies there was a dancing procession of Pachamama where people prostrated themselves before the two wooden statues that represented naked and pregnant women and a statue of a male phallic figure reclining on his back. The event was meant to symbolize “the cry of the Amazonian land and native peoples.”

Francis later apologized for the incident, but the damage was done.

These disquieting events are rooted in some provocative church history. In 2018, the publication Catholic Philly.com commented on the Catholic Charismatic movement,

“Some traditional Catholics might be turned off by the highly emotional exuberance of a Charismatic meeting, which can demonstrate such gifts of the Holy Spirit as prophecy, faith healing and speaking in tongues. Advocates believe this is simply the workings of the Holy Spirit.”

The Holy Spirit has been “blamed” for a number of innovations in the Catholic Church — from the creation of Eucharistic Ministers, Communion-in-hand, liturgical dancers, Argentine puppet Masses, altar girls, to the movement for women priests and deacons.

Advertisements for the 2019 Philadelphia Catholic Charismatic Renewal Conference had the look of an old time southern revival. The ad was printed in big bold letters in the style of Big Tent evangelism.

Passages from Scripture were arranged around information surrounding the event:

A beautiful woman showing off her million-dollar suntan and bright shiny dental veneers was listed as the guest speaker. She wasn’t just ‘anybody’ but someone who was “baptized in the Holy Spirit in 1957” (as if her first Baptism wasn’t enough). The woman, so the ad stated, “is committed to making Jesus known to the Nations by the preaching of the Gospel in the Power of the Holy Spirit.”

As Karl Keating, in a 2017 article on the Catholic charismatic movement, wrote in ‘Catholic Answers’:

“The Catholic variant of charismaticism dates from 1967. It began at Duquesne University, spread to Notre Dame, and then went viral, as the current saying has it. A Belgian cardinal, Leo Suenens, was an early patron. Pope Paul VI, while a charismatic event was in progress in Rome, said some positive things about the movement’s emphasis on “communion of souls” and its promotion of prayer. Later, John Paul II encouraged Catholic charismatics to defend the Christian notion of social life against inroads by secularism.”

“The popes,” Keating continues, “never endorsed the notion of a “Baptism in the Spirit,” nor did they speak in favor of glossolalia, or speaking in tongues.”

As many traditional Christians know, speaking in tongues was a singular event at Pentecost. It had everything to do with ‘gifting’ the early apostles and disciples with a knowledge of foreign languages so they could go out into the world, and had nothing to do with rolling around on the floor in a fever pitch. In fact, the contemporary concept of “speaking in tongues” (shaking your body with upraised hands) was virtually unknown throughout most of Christianity until 1830. That’s when a certain excitable Scottish Presbyterian minister, Edward Irving, manufactured its appearance “through his enthusiastic preaching.”

Keating concludes: “After that, speaking in tongues died down until the turn of the twentieth century with the rise of the modern Pentecostal movement. There were no Catholic examples of it until two-thirds of a century later.”

Yet this didn’t stop a Redemptorist brother, Brother Pancratius Boudreau (Joseph Andrew Boudreau), from starting the Catholic Charismatic Movement in the late 1960s.

After Vatican II, many Catholics in the Archdiocese of Philadelphia were hooting and hollering like Big Tent evangelicals. The era of ‘quietly saying the rosary’ was seen as retrograde and Protestant-unfriendly. Although creeping Pentecostalism existed in mostly isolated parishes with special Masses, elements of the Charismatic movement began to seep into heretofore dignified parishes.

That’s when one spotted people at Mass praying the Lord’ Prayer in the Orans fashion, while others took to holding hands with fellow parishioners. Some lay people — convinced that they had special spiritual gifts — would lay their hands on the heads of fellow parishioners.

Call it a full-fledged revival along the lines of Jim and Tammy Bakker.

On the heels of the charismatic movement came the Cursillo movement, founded in Spain in 1944 as a way to bring Spanish men back to the Church.

The Cursillo retreat was really the Catholic version of EST (Erhard Seminars Training, a quasi religious therapy program founded in 1971 by Werner Erhard). The Cursillo 3-day retreat emphasized non-stop group activity with little or no solitude. Criticisms of the Cursillo movement by traditionalists pointed to “in group secrets” and instructions. Some former Cursillo devotees have even compared it to a cult, the Catholic version of Freemasonry.

The two founders of Cursillo, Eduardo Bonnin and Bishop Juan Hervas, saw their movement transported to the United States in 1957, although Cursillo hit its stride in the states in the 1970s in conjunction with the Catholic Charismatic Renewal movement. The two movements might be said to have produced a “new” type of Catholicism: the “Jesus Saves” hand clapping “let’s get emotional” school, and the so called Masonic “secret society” of Cursillo, which started out as a movement exclusively for men but which, falling victim to secular culture and the demands of feminists, went co-ed.

Moving forward, the question of female deacons will be discussed at the upcoming Synod of Bishops in Rome in October 2024. (Cardinal George Pell has called the Synod on Synodalty a “toxic nightmare couched in a neo-Marxist message.” )

While many observers believe that the idea of a female deaconate in the Church will be approved, it is doubtful whether the new office, once established, will follow the tradition of so-called women deacons in the early Eastern Church, who had no liturgical function whatsoever but were primarily assigned on an ad hoc basis to care for women catechuems about to be baptized.

Yet as the Catholic Church becomes increasingly woke and reflective of the modern age, Catholic feminists and their male counterparts won’t be happy with a Baptism-oriented only female Deaconate, but will insist that female deacons, in a break with tradition, get to do everything that their male counterparts do: assist priests and bishops at Mass, baptize, proclaim the Gospel and assist at the altar.

The Roman Church’s obsessive desire to update its liturgy, doctrines and beliefs while promoting climate, gender and transgender ideology — as if the latter were necessary for salvation — goes against the teachings of Saint Paul, who said that the Church must be a countercultural force.

The Church has to be a force against the modernism of this world, and it should not, as many have said, marry the spirit of the age. If there’s no difference between the world and the Church, this would be a mark that the Church has lost its spiritual dimension.

Of course, the radical handwriting was on the wall when Jorge Mario Bergoglio, the Cardinal-Archbishop of Buenos Aires, was elected to the papacy in 2013.

At his first address to the crowds in St. Peter’s Square as Francis I, he had refused to wear the papal mozzetta. This seemingly small break with tradition was the first red flag signaling that the new pope was a liturgical modernist.

Years later, in January 2021, Pope Francis called for open borders when he wrote that nations had an obligation “to welcome, promote, protect, and integrate those who come in search of better lives for themselves and their families.”

What is this, if not a call for a full-scale Pachamama migrant invasion?

“Muslim women wearing headscarves as allegedly 100% Tyrolean” in Tyrolean adverts cause criticism

The controversial “burp video” in the Tyrol advert is just the tip of years of misconduct for Tyrolean Freedom Party Chairman Markus Abwerzger. “When those responsible for the Tirol advertising campaign depict Muslim women wearing headscarves in a commercial and then title it ‘One hundred per cent Tirol’, this is a scandal and a humiliation of women who are at the mercy of patriarchal structures in their countries of origin,” criticises Abwerzger. “100 per cent Tyrol means capturing and telling the story of Tyrol’s enriching diversity. One example of this is the Elferbahnen – how you can enjoy the view of the valley from one of Tyrol’s many lifts,” says the Tyrolean Freedom Party leader.

For the Tyrolean Freedom Party (FPÖ) regional party chairman, this is completely out of line. “Using symbols of the oppression of women for advertising is immoral and counteracts the enlightened society in Austria.” According to Abwerzger, measures need to be taken quickly: “In future, we need to look closely at what money is being spent on. The aim of an advert for Tirol must be to make Tirol interesting for guests. The video with women wearing headscarves is nothing but a provocation. It is certainly not the job of Tirol advertising to make socio-political statements.”

“No political messages”: German Football Association takes action against Israel banner

Otherwise, it can’t be political enough for the German Football Association. But it intervened at the U21 football match against Israel. Fans hold up a poster demanding freedom for the Hamas hostages.
The German Football Association (DFB) had a poster calling for the release of hostages held by the terrorist organisation Hamas removed during its U21 team’s match against Israel. During the 2:0 victory in the Leuna-Chemie Stadium in Halle, the inscription “Bring them home now” was too much for the association.

The DFB justified the brutal action by stating that the banner had not been authorised. “In principle, banners with political messages are not permitted in the stadium at UEFA matches.” However, the association is otherwise known for overdoing it with political messages in favour of migration and the LGBTQ movement. At the Men’s World Cup in Qatar, there was a fierce dispute with the world governing body Fifa.
Shortly after kick-off, the Israel fans complied with the request to remove the poster. Allegedly, however, these spectators then became aggressive. Groups of children were then moved to other areas of the stadium, it was said.

When the poster was displayed again towards the end of the match, “the security forces intervened for reasons of de-escalation and removed the banner”, the DFB told dpa. This led to harsh criticism on social media. After all, it was about freeing hostages. The German U21 team also includes players with an Islamic migration background.
