In Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, a 16-year-old girl is suddenly taken out of class by three police officers in front of her classmates. The offense: She says on TikTok that Germany is her home and not just a place on the map. The student is denounced by her own director.

The headmaster of the Richard-Wossidlo-Gymnasium in Ribnitz-Damgarten in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania has taken the witch hunt for anything that doesn’t correspond to the left-green mission statement to the extreme. Not only does he apparently spy on pupils and what they post on social networks, he even calls the police on them if necessary to intimidate them. On February 27, he ordered one such suspicious pupil to be arrested by the police in front of everyone in the classroom, even though she had done nothing but show her sympathy for an AfD posting. Neither the head teacher nor the Mecklenburg-Vorpommern Ministry of Education would comment on the scandal to the newspaper.

“I’m horrified,” her mother lamented to the newspaper Junge Freiheit. “This is such a violent, if I may say so, Stasi shit, I would never have thought it possible in my whole life what was done to my daughter here.”

My daughter posted a Smurfs video on TikTok a few months ago. It says that the Smurfs and Germany have something in common: The Smurfs are blue and so is Germany. That was probably a funny AfD advertising post. And then she once posted that Germany is not simply a place, but her homeland.

Her commitment to her homeland and supposed sympathy for an opposition party was apparently sufficient for her to be taken away by the police for an “endangerment interview”, during which the officers asked the girl to refrain from making such posts in future “for her own protection”. This was despite the fact that a police spokesperson confirmed that the schoolgirl could not be charged with any criminal offences. So why all the action?

The Catholic and Protestant churches in Zurich want to give a whopping two million francs of taxpayers’ money to Islamic organisations. What is supposed to be a gesture of goodwill is actually a financial injection for Islamisation. The gift of money means that the Swiss are involuntarily helping to finance the Islamic takeover of the country.
In Zurich, only recognised religious communities are entitled to state funding. These are currently three Christian and two Jewish communities. As the Protestant and Catholic churches seem to have a lot of money from tax contributions, they now want to make a gift of around two million francs to the “Association of Islamic Organisations Zurich” (VIOZ).

One staunch supporter of the project is the President of the Reformed Church Council and former Social Democrat Cantonal Councillor Esther Straub. She is campaigning and speaks of a sign of “interreligious cohesion”. Of course, this kind of concession is not found in Islamic countries with Christian minorities. The church uses it to distribute money to Islamic organisations, which have repeatedly attracted attention in Switzerland with their fanatical tendencies.

The former left-wing politician argues that the move is intended to fund decidedly non-radical and moderate Islamic organisations. The VIOZ operates around 90 per cent of the mosques in the canton of Zurich with over 40 facilities. There are also other associations. In addition to the three VIOZ facilities in Winterthur, there is also the “An nur Moschee”, which according to the security authorities is a real hotspot for jihadism. It is not clear how interlinked or separate the VIOZ is with such communities.

A radical imam is still hosting talks in primary schools, despite being ruled as an extremist preacher.

In 2016, a High Court judge found Shakeel Begg’s position as an imam put him in a place where he could “plant the seed of Islamic extremism in a young mind”.

But Begg has remained head imam of the Lewisham Islamic Centre [LIC], which has regularly hosted schoolchildren from the local borough.

The mosque has received hundreds of thousands of pounds in Government grants for its school, which closed in 2019. It also retains links with the local council, reports The Times.

The BBC had previously described Begg as an “extremist” who sued the broadcaster for libel. Lord Justice Haddon-Cave, who oversaw the libel action, found in favour of the broadcaster in 2016.

He concluded Begg had been “telling Muslims that violence in support of Islam would constitute a man’s greatest deed”.

Begg has continued to engage with the community despite the High Court finding against him. According to LIC’s Facebook page, it hosted children from local schools, including primary-age pupils, on at least six occasions in 2022 and 2023.

It posted pictures of Begg in discussions with schoolchildren.

GB News has approached the LIC for a comment.

Communities minister Michael Gove told the House of Commons that the Begg case was among examples brought to the government’s attention that galvanised it to issue a new extremism definition.

Gove warned that individuals and organisations with extreme views had nevertheless benefited from state engagement, endorsement and support, and “furthermore have exploited that association to further their extremist agendas.”

Despite the High Court finding against him, Begg has continued to engage with the community hosting children from local schools, including primary-age pupils, on at least six occasions in 2022 and 2023. It posted pictures of Begg in discussions with schoolchildren.

A spokesperson for Lewisham council said: “We work with organisations which engage with the many different groups within our community, and faith organisations of all kinds are a very important part of that. There are a significant number of Muslims in Lewisham and the Lewisham Islamic Centre as a body supports our efforts to increase and sustain community cohesion.”

Police have also continued to engage with Begg, with Lewisham police giving testimony to assist his libel case against the BBC. They highlighted his “principled” stance against Prevent, the counter-extremism programme.

A Met Police spokesperson told The Times: “Mr Begg does not hold an advisory role with the Met. He attended a faith breakfast alongside representatives from other religious backgrounds.

“These events are part of our critical engagement work to understand the effect of policing on all of our communities. The main focus of this particular event was a discussion around the stop-and-search charter.

“An attendee’s presence at an event does not amount to our support for their views. We do not condone any views which encourage division.”

The government may be forced to limit the available choices for citizens in order to battle predicted ‘devastating consequences’ of climate change. That’s the message in an opinion titled “Climate Justice,” published on March 13th by the German Ethics Council.

In the opinion, the Ethics Council—a board of expert advisors established by German law—recommends actions to be taken by corporations, individuals, and the government to ensure the effects of climate change do not unjustly burden “those who are not so well-off.” 

Primarily, the Ethics Council says, this should be done on a voluntary basis—through individual ”self-commitment as an expression of one’s individual freedom”—by, for example, “voluntarily abandoning certain vacation, consumption, or mobility practices.”

However, the Council’s statement continues (emphasis added),

On grounds of justice, it can be morally required to contribute to measures to tackle climate change. If one’s own exercise of freedom interferes in an unjust manner with the freedom and welfare of others or of future generations, for example through consumption that is harmful to the climate, the authorities may intervene with restrictions of freedom. 

In other words: If you cannot be shamed into behaving in a way deemed morally correct by the elite, the government may simply have to force you. Flugscham, from the original Swedish flygskam, meaning “flight shame”—guilt about flying experienced by environmentally conscious travelers—is now an established word in the German vocabulary.

While the opinion states that the Ethics Council is opposed to suspending “democratic freedoms and processes” to reach the desired climate goals, the group says it largely falls to the government to provide the “supportive framework conditions” under which individuals can—as we say to the kids—make good choices. 

These framework conditions, the opinion says, should among other things include lowered speed limits, increased “electromobility,” and increased CO2 taxes. The Council suggests a personal emissions limit that cannot be exceeded, and even “the ban on particularly climate-damaging products or services”—or, as Apollo News puts it: “a regulation as to who can buy what and to what extent.”

Defining climate change as a man-made (“due to, among other factors, the combustion of fossil fuels and the destruction of forests and moors since the beginning of the Industrial Revolution”) phenomenon, the organization also says Germany needs to take into account “the long history of colonialism and industrialisation” as well as “ongoing neo-colonial dependencies,” meaning

a distinction must be made between growth in countries of the global South that are catching up on development, and further growth of consumption and resource use in industrialised countries, and appropriate compensatory payments must be negotiated.

At a time when the former European industrial powerhouse barely has its nose above water, it’s questionable whether “compensatory payments” to the Global South is on the traffic light coalition’s radar, regardless of Ethics Council recommendations. 

The Ethics Council is a 26-member independent organization representing diverse “scientific, medical, theological, philosophical, ethical, social, economic and legal concerns” intended to provide guidance for dealing with societal changes, “particularly in the field of life sciences and their application to humans.” Established in German law, the Ethics Council is tasked with, among other things, developing “statements and recommendations for political and legislative action,” and prepares its opinions based on its own decision, “on behalf of the German Bundestag or on behalf of the Federal Government.”

Plenković’s party “is only getting voted in because of corruption, and having people employed by the state voting him in”, says Sonja Čibarić, a young Croatian emigrant working in Ireland.

The Jerusalem Post says Eden Golan will embarrass Israel, but only because her act is boring.

Israel’s President, Isaac Herzog, called these “necessary adjustments” from the original words, a more pointed reference to children abducted by Hamas in October, “They were all good children, every one of them.”

Perhaps promisingly, like Oscar-winning Cillian Murphy, Ireland’s Bambie Thug is from Cork.

“I’m pissing off the right type of people – transphobes, the far right, and a few priests,” said the singer.

Bambie Thug did not seem to account for the volume of emotion the Eurovision act, which blends jazz with death metal, would provoke, in an Ireland newly embroiled in culture wars.

A supportive audience on Ireland’s Late Late programme cheered “send the witch”.

But critics have ranged from Ditch magazine co-founder Chay Bowes (who called the singer a Morticia Adams impersonator) to hard-right Irish Freedom Party president Hermann Kelly (who said “celebrating satanism and ‘non-binary’ Woke nonsense is the fashion of the Irish Establishment”).

“Ye need to stop immediately with the threats, hate mail and shaming messages. You don’t know what is happening behind the scenes,” the singer tweeted March 13.

The Eurovision Song Contest’s organisers, the European Broadcasting Union, prominently include in its rules that “The ESC is a non-political event.”

For all this, “Eurovision has long been a platform for countries to project their political and social messages,” says Amr Elharony, an analyst at Egypt’s Banque Misr who writes often about Eurovision.

“From West Germany’s debut in 1956 with a Jewish representative to Bosnia and Herzegovina’s and Croatia’s entries during their wars, the contest has always mirrored the political zeitgeist in Europe,” he says.

Some in Ireland wondered quite how the country had moved from Johnny Logan’s saccharine 1980 and 1987 victories and Jedward’s 2011 and 2022 pop entries to Bambie Thug.

It will, for example, swear up and down on a stack of little red books that there were no race riots (mostly peaceful), that Islamic terrorism doesn’t exist (just misunderstandings) and that Stalin was just a misunderstood idealist who didn’t kill anyone (neither did Fidel or Mao), but sometimes when caught absolutely red-handed, the regime will explain that it actually wants leftist violence to achieve its goals.

You may remember the eco-vandals who have been attacking art masterpieces around the world.

A Dutch court of appeals has decided that a small group of climate activists who received two month in jail for gluing themselves to Johannes Vermeer‘s The Girl with the Pearl Earring no longer need to serve their sentence.

According to CNN, the court said that the three activists, who are part of the protest group Just Stop Oil Belgium, spent 23 days in holding cells leading up to the trial. The court ruled that additional prison time “would have been excessive.”

The court added that doling out a severe punishment might have a “chilling effect,” and that it wanted to ensure that those who want to peacefully protest or exercise their right to freedom of expression aren’t discouraged.

Suffice it to say that if the vandals had been attacking art (or even painted some graffiti) to protest against EU carbon taxes or Muslim migration, every book in Europe would have been thrown at them with zero concern about a “chilling effect”.

But with its own red kind, the court comes out and states that it doesn’t want to discourage more eco-vandals from trying to destroy the effects of the industrial revolution.

It’s worried that actually enforcing the law against its own ideological allies might have a “chilling effect” on such peaceful protests as vandalizing classic art.

A trans-identified male in Newcastle, England, has been charged after waging a campaign of harassment and abuse against his female neighbor. Andrew Fleming, who goes by the name Susan Hope, was referred to with “she/her” pronouns by the Newcastle Crown Court.

According to ChronicleLive, the harassment first began after his female neighbor, who has lived in the building with her husband for over 30 years, allowed Fleming to charge his phone when his electricity was out after he moved in last February.

Despite the woman’s efforts to be a good neighbor to the new tenant, Prosecutor Rachel Glover told the court that Fleming began tormenting her regularly, demanding more and more from her by way of favors.

“The defendant began knocking on their door at all hours, asking for her phone to be charged and for phone calls to be made on her behalf. (The woman) said she tried to be a good neighbour, but it got too much, and she began to say no and asked her to stop knocking on her door.”

In response, Glover explained that Fleming, who has autism and bipolar disorder, became combative and threatened her, saying: “I will remember this.”

Although 51-year-old Fleming was away from his home from February until June of 2023, he reportedly began harassing his neighbor shortly after his return. From June until August, Fleming tormented his neighbors, sometimes yelling through their door for hours. In multiple instances, after claiming to be locked out of his place, he violently banged on their door, demanding their assistance.

On June 29, after enjoying a meal out, the woman was horrified to learn that Fleming had been stalking her and was “standing across the road, staring at her,” which Glover informed the court she found extremely intimidating to the point where “she was terrified and returned home shaking.”

Several days later, after being berated for hours in the morning, the woman went to her car to leave, where Fleming continued to shout threats at her, including that he wanted to kill her and “punch her face in.”

“She could see the defendant standing at her front window with the window open, shouting at her. (The victim) was frightened, crying and shaking, and her husband called the police,” explained the prosecution.

“She is absolutely terrified of the defendant. It’s causing her distress all the time. She’s terrified of what they are capable of doing,” explained Glover, using gender neutral pronouns for Fleming. “It frightens her. She’s lived there more than 30 years with no issues but no longer feels safe and doesn’t want to live there anymore.”

Referring to the victim’s husband, Glover added: “It has made him feel anxious in his own home. He’s worried for his wife because of the threats made towards her. He has taken time off work. His wife doesn’t like to be in the address on her own, and he is constantly worried about what will happen.”

Fleming was arrested and taken to the police station where, despite assaulting a police officer, he was released on bail “with conditions not to contact the victims.”

Fleming, violating his bail conditions, continued to harass his neighbors, relentlessly knocking on their door and shouting verbal threats to the point where the victims had to install a ring doorbell. In an effort to calm her down, the woman’s husband would also drive her around town until she felt comfortable enough to return home.

Fleming’s lawyer, Shada Mellor, told the court that he had been previously detained under the Mental Health Act, which covers the assessment, treatment, and rights of people with a mental health disorder, and has served a 14-month pre-trial detention.

Although Fleming missed his sentencing hearing, he was sentenced to just over nine months in prison and was “given a restraining order not to contact the victims” after pleading guilty to harassment and assaulting a police officer.

Despite the courts referring to Fleming as a woman throughout the proceedings, as of February last year, the United Kingdom introduced new measures prohibiting transgender offenders who have male genitalia from serving their sentence in a women’s prison.

“Safety has to come first in our prisons and this new policy sets out a clear, common-sense approach to the housing of transgender prisoners,” explained Dominic Raab, the UK’s Deputy Prime Minister. “With these sensible new measures in place, transgender offenders who have committed sexual or violent crimes or retain male genitalia will not serve their sentence in a women’s prison, unless explicitly approved at the highest level.”

Swedish women have never had so few children as in 2023, new data shows. Based on the childbearing gap, Yasir Qadhi, a Pakistani-born American theologian, predicts that in just one generation, half of Malmö’s population will be Muslim.

“Walking through the streets of Malmö is like walking through Baghdad, the capital of Iraq, or Damascus, the capital of Syria,” said Yasir Qadhi, a Pakistani-born American theologian, as reported in the Swedish newspaper Samnytt.

Qadhi, who has a doctorate in theology from Yale University, gave lectures on Islam to young Muslims in Stockholm and Malmö. He says he asked himself during his visit to Malmö whether he was in Sweden, according to a video he posted on YouTube.

He also shared his theory with the world that the towns he mentioned would become Muslim towns because while Swedes have few children, it is not uncommon for a Muslim family to have five or six. In a generation’s time, Malmö will not be dominated by Swedes, according to the theologian.

As Remix News previously reported, ethnic Swedish children are already a minority in the school system of Malmö, with one Swedish academic reacting to the massive demographic transformation known as the Great Replacement by claiming that schools should be taught in Arabic, as Swedish is now a minority language.

Associate professor of social work, Erica Righard, who works at Malmö University, wrote in her report for the Growth Commission, that the demographic changes present “new challenges for integration.”

Conservatives in Sweden have long pointed to Malmö as a harbinger of a future that the majority of Swedes remain opposed to, as the city has completely transformed from nearly all ethnic Swedes into a multicultural area marked by urban decay, no-go zones controlled by migrant clans, and a city unsafe for women in many areas.

Data also shows that migrants and those of a migrant background are responsible for the vast majority of murders, shootings, gang rapes, and robberies in Sweden.

According to the latest figures from Statistics Sweden, birth rates in the country have sunk to an all-time low in 2023.

Righard’s report also confirms what was once dismissed as right-wing rhetoric and a conspiracy theory. In this European city, the Great Replacement, which describes the demographic displacement of Europeans with non-Europeans in their native countries, is statistically undeniable and ongoing.

Qadhi himself promotes a range of apps and learning programs in various business ventures, with his products often targeting the West’s growing Muslim population.

Ramadan causes conflicts. During the distribution of food to the detainees at the time of breaking the fast, a man who thought it was too late insulted and spat at a policewoman, refused to return to his cell block and asked his fellow detainees to join him, a police source told Valeurs actuelles. The incidents took place on March 13 at the administrative deportation centre in Lyon. Muslims have been observing Ramadan since March 10: according to the rules, they are called upon to fast during the day and break this asceticism at nightfall.
The perpetrator was then overpowered and placed in solitary confinement. The police were able to calm the situation by using “common defence techniques”. After the intervention, two migrants who complained of slight pain refused to be treated.
