Two people wearing masks entered the church during the service and opened fire – “Deplorable attack, we are looking for the perpetrators”, said the Turkish interior minister.
An armed attack occurred on Sunday morning at the Catholic Church of Santa Maria in Istanbul during the service.
According to the information of the DHA news agency, one person died.
Specifically, two people wearing masks entered the Catholic Church of Santa Maria in the Sarıyer neighbourhood of Istanbul and opened fire on the people inside the hall. One person died in the shooting.
The area was blockaded after the attack on the service that started at 11.00 a.m. (local time). A large number of police teams were dispatched to the scene.

At this moment, it is unclear what the motive behind the attack was and whether it is linked to any group.
The church is located on the popular Istiklal Avenue, a busy shopping street on the European side of the city. It is recalled that six people were killed in a bombing on the avenue, close to Taksim Square, in November 2022.

Turkish Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya stressed that an investigation had been launched into the incident, adding that “during the service at the Santa Maria Church in Sarıyer district, a man who was attending the service was attacked with a gun by two people wearing masks and unfortunately lost his life. A large-scale investigation into the matter has been launched, and efforts are being made to arrest the perpetrators. We strongly condemn this despicable attack.”

A trans-identified male was one of two men found guilty this week in a San Francisco court of the brutal torture and murder of a young man. David Anderson, 41, who identifies as transgender and uses the name “Angel,” hung 23-year old George Randall-Saldivar from the ceiling by a noose before raping him and injecting the victim with a lethal dose of fentanyl, the court heard.
Prosecutors told the jury that the young man was still alive when Anderson and his accomplice, 52-year-old Gerald Rowe, stuffed Saldivar into a suitcase, which they rolled down the street before dumping into the San Francisco Bay. Assistant District Attorney Charly Weissenbach said the killers treated the man “like garbage.”

Weissenbach told the court that the crime involved “some of the most egregious charges and horrific facts anyone should ever have to hear, let alone experience.”
She added: “While this conviction cannot undo the hours of torture and painful poisoning experienced by the victim, it does condemn the depravity of the defendant’s acts along with the inhumane way he handled the victim’s remains when he threw him into the Bay like garbage.”
According to testimony heard at the trial, Saldivar was an “acquaintance” of the killers, and had visited Rowe and Anderson at Rowe’s apartment on Market Street on February 3, 2019. The three men were said to have engaged in intercourse together before the murder took place.
Following the sexual activity, Anderson threatened Saldivar with a machete, then tied him up and hung him from the ceiling before mercilessly torturing the victim over a period of four hours.
“A noose was placed around the victim’s neck with the attached rope tethered through a pulley device near the ceiling. The victim’s hands were bound behind his back with zip ties, a strap, and duct tape. The victim was tortured for more than four hours in this position as he was screamed at, hit, punched, sodomized, assaulted with pliers, and a bag placed over his head,” the San Francisco District Attorney’s Office wrote.
After hours of brutally abusing the victim, Rowe left the residence to purchase fentanyl. Rowe and Anderson injected the victim via syringe with a lethal dose of fentanyl mixed with water.
“Within about 90-seconds, the victim began to convulse and struggle to breathe. Next, while still alive, Mr. Rowe and Ms. Anderson folded the victim into a large rolling suitcase, before zipping it up and waiting for him to die,” the DA’s Office wrote, referring to Anderson with a feminine honorific.
Approximately 20 hours later, the men put on disguises and rolled the suitcase containing Saldivar, who was reportedly still alive, to the waterfront at Rincon Park, before throwing the suitcase into the water.
On February 18, 2019, a local resident found Saldivar’s body floating in the water. San Francisco Police investigators and the Chief Medical Examiner (OCME) determined the victim’s identity, and two days later, Anderson confessed to Sacramento Police to having committed the murder. Within the week, homicide investigators took Anderson and Rowe into custody.
Anderson is currently in custody at San Francisco County Jail and faces a sentence of to 25–years-to-life in state prison, set to be determined on March 18.
Disturbingly, Reduxx has learned that Anderson is currently imprisoned at County Jail #2, a mixed-sex facility that is the only San Francisco County Jail unit that houses women. According to the Jail’s description, it offers “gender-responsive rehabilitation programs.” Among them, SISTER – or, sisters in sober treatment empowered by recovery – and GLIDE, which supports women who struggle with violence and poverty.
Rowe is currently in custody awaiting his sentencing hearing. Along with Rowe, he will be sentenced on March 18, and faces life in state prison without the possibility of parole.
Once Anderson is sentenced, there is a high likelihood that he will request transfer to a women’s correctional facility if he is not housed there automatically.
Since January 1, 2021, the California Department of Corrections (CDCR) has been required to place male inmates who claim to be transgender in women’s prisons. The Transgender Respect, Agency, and Dignity Act, also known as SB 132, mandates that the CDCR cannot deny an inmate a search preference or housing placement “based solely on an incarcerated person’s external genitalia,” which it classifies as “discrimination” related to “gender identity.”
Within the past three years, several violent men have been transferred to the female prison estate, including a sadistic man who beat two of his own infant children to death. Jessica Marie Hann, born Jason Michael Hann, is now reportedly awaiting breast implants at taxpayer’s expense while incarcerated at a women’s prison, the Central California Women’s Facility (CCWF).
Last June, a once-prominent trans activist found guilty of a grisly triple homicide was sent to a women’s prison following his conviction. Dana Rivers, born David Chester Warfield, violently murdered lesbian couple Patricia Wright and Charlotte Reed, along with their son, Benny Diambu-Wright, before setting their home ablaze.
In 2022, just one year after the gender identity policy went into effect, incarcerated woman Mimi Le at the Central California Facility for Women came forward with a sworn declaration of having been eyewitness to the aftermath of an alleged sexual assault committed by a trans-identified male against a female inmate.
The dirty secret of green energy is that it depends on subsidies. Whether it’s the credits extracted from other automakers that really fueled Tesla’s rise or the multiple tiers of subsidies for wind and solar, the only reason any of the green energy grift exists is through money extracted from consumers, taxpayers, and the economy in too many ways to even begin to count.
What happens when the subsidies are pulled? Go look at California, the home of solar, and one of the few places in the country where it’s even viable.
The state Public Utilities Commission in late 2022 slashed by about 75% the rate that utilities pay homeowners with new solar panels when they sell surplus power to the grid…
The state’s decision has caused consumer demand for residential solar to plummet since the new rate took effect. Solar companies say they’ve been shoved to the edge of a cliff, forcing them to lay off workers or even shut down.
Experts worry that the steep decline could stall the state’s battle against climate change. Solar power is critical to meeting California’s ambitious requirement to switch to 90% carbon-free electricity in 2035 and 100% in 2045. Large-scale and rooftop solar is projected to provide more than half of the grid’s power by 2045.
The imminent change in payments to customers drove a three-month surge in homeowners applying for solar connections leading up to the deadline. But then came a 90% decline last May compared to May of 2022, according to state data for areas served by Pacific Gas & Electric, Southern California Edison and San Diego Gas & Electric.
In all, about 82% fewer customers applied for solar connections from May through November of last year compared to a year earlier. Fewer than 4,000 customers applied in November, the last month with available data.
Deepak Rajagopal, an energy economist at UCLA’s Institute of Environment and Sustainability, said it’s no surprise that consumers balked at going solar after the reimbursement rate changed from what he called the “generous” system. He said the higher payments were a burden on people who don’t have solar.
“The state is betting so strongly on power from rooftop solar. They will have to recalibrate,” Rajagopal said.
There’s no recalibration.
Green energy depends on monstrous subsidies. But states, including California, have to tighten their belts and that means there isn’t as much free money floating as there was before.
Since ‘green energy’ is, ironically, unsustainable, it takes far more money to fund it than it can ever produce. Imagine the costs in subsidies to move the state to 90% green energy.
And since that’s going to be passed on to consumers, imagine the cost of cooling and heating a home? Imagine what it will cost to run hospitals and data centers?
Buying ‘carbon offsets’ becomes the only viable strategy. And that’s a massive scam that will entail doing business as usual while funding windmills no one wants or uses in Montana or Mumbai.
There’s no strategy here. Either we get off the green train or we all end up in the dark.

Something has happened again on Austrian public broadcaster ORF: In an article about the climate in the Roman Empire (!), the warm period is dated as “around 200 BCE to 150 CE”. “Before our time” instead of “before Christ”? A trans-identified male in custody following the horrific stabbing death of both his mother and her beloved dog. Andre Eugene, who reportedly identifies as a “woman,” is facing charges of murder in the second degree and aggravated cruelty to animals.
Eugene’s mother, Donna Marie Hyman, was found dead in her Brooklyn apartment on January 19 after police were called by Hyman’s sister. The woman says she had received a call from Hyman, but when she answered could only hear blood-curdling screams.
Hyman was found “lying lifeless on the floor” and had been stabbed over 50 times in the head and chest. The corpse of Hyman’s mini poodle, Gigi, was found outside of the building, having apparently been stabbed and thrown from the 11th floor.
According to court records, police officers found Eugene “naked and covered in blood” in the building’s lobby. Despite the obvious indications of foul play, Eugene reportedly attempted to claim that Hyman had died by suicide and that Gigi had fallen from the balcony by accident.
Eugene was later treated for stab wounds that were suspected to be self-inflicted, as well as a dog bite.
Eugene worked as a paraprofessional with kindergarten-aged students at the Henry D. Woodworth School in Brooklyn. At the time of this writing, his name still appears on the staff roster for the school.

Following Eugene’s arrest, there were some discrepancies in the way in which the crime was reported. While most media outlets correctly referred to Eugene as Hyman’s son, information was later released by police which indicated that Eugene identified as a transgender “woman.”
While it is unclear when Eugene began to transition, multiple early photos of him and his mother posted to her Facebook show him with a masculine appearance. Comments under photos featuring Eugene all suggest he was well-liked by friends and family.

Though Eugene’s gender identity is not mentioned anywhere on Hyman’s Facebook where she often shared photos of her family and friends, two photos of Gigi, her poodle, were posted that suggest Hyman was in favor of LGBT causes. In one, Gigi is seen with a Gay Pride Month banner. In another, the dog is centered in an Human Rights Campaign photo frame that says “Fighting For Transgender Justice.”
Eugene is currently being held at the Eric M. Tyler Center on Rikers Island, a facility that houses male adults and adolescents. His intake information lists his sex as “male.”
There have been multiple incidents involving trans-identified males murdering their parent or parents in recent years.
In December of 2022, Nikki Secondino, a trans-identified male Instagram influencer, fatally stabbed his father and severely injured his sister while on a violent rampage over a laptop. Secondino gave a chilling confession to police after being arrested, revealing that he had first bludgeoned his father’s head with a hammer and then stabbed him with a knife. He then stabbed his sister when she attempted to intervene.
Months later, a trans-identified male in Virginia Beach was arrested and charged with the murder of his father. As previously reported by Reduxx, Michael Aaron Horwitz, 34, stabbed Dr. Abbey Horwitz to death at his home for reasons which are still unclear. Horwitz is being held at the Virginia Beach Jail awaiting trial.
Last autumn, numerous secondary schools and high schools were forced to evacuate their pupils several times due to an increase in false bomb threats.
In Thizy-les-Bourgs at the La Platière college, for example, six threats were received in ten days, requiring as many evacuations for the 180 young people as for the law enforcement officers who were on site to dispel any doubts.
According to the newspaper Le Progrès, the gendarmerie’s investigation into the publication of false information to fake a dangerous explosion has progressed and taken an unexpected turn.
A suspect has been arrested in Morocco. It is not yet clear whether this is the person who sent the emails or an accomplice. Nor is it clear whether it was a Moroccan who was having fun destabilising foreign institutions or a Frenchman who had fled to the Maghreb.

Germany’s Christian Democrats (CDU) party is “brain dead”, the leader of a new splinter group has said.
Announcing his formal resignation from the party, Hans-Georg Maaßen declared that the CDU has been “straying” from its core values for some time.
Under the leadership of the party’s current head, Friedrich Merz, Maaßen said he views the party as “unsalvageable”.
“When a horse is dead, you have to unsaddle – and the CDU is not only dead at heart but now also brain dead,” he said.
“The CDU has abandoned its values and core beliefs in recent years,” he continued. “It only gives the impression of being a bourgeois alternative to ‘red-green’ but, in the end, it is just its variant.”
Maaßen said his focus would now be on the creation of a new party, the Union of Values, which he said would be able to fill the gaps created by the left-drifting CDU.
Merz’s CDU “can no longer be reformed”, he declared. “That’s why I will now concentrate on building the Union of Values as a new bourgeois party.”
Having started life in 2017 as a lobby group aimed at pulling Christian Democrat policy to the Right, the WerteUnion – in English, the Union of Values or Values Union – was quickly vilified by the party mainstream over its perceived dissident politics.
A similar attitude developed around Maaßen, the group’s chairman and a former head of Germany’s Federal Office for the Protection of the Constitution. Many in party viewed some of his statements as drifting a little too far Right.
Formal efforts to kick Maaßen out of the CDU began in 2023, with the Union of Values striking back by announcing this year it would mandate the formation of a political party that shared its name.
German media speculated this latest development has pleased many within the CDU. As the party forbids dual membership, it is hoped by members that many pro-Maaßen “troublemakers” will leave the party for the new group, which they see as little threat electorally speaking.
It is unclear whether the Union of Values intends to contest the European Parliament elections 2024 in June.
A Church of England school reportedly allowed a four-year-old boy to join as a girl while hiding his biological sex from other students.
According to a report from The Telegraph, a Church of England primary school in the south of England allowed the boy to join the school as a girl three years ago when he was just four years old.
A parent of a girl at the school told the broadsheet that her daughter had become “distraught” after she found out earlier this month that her friend was actually a boy. The parent said that the supposedly transgender child had begun “flashing their willy” at girls in the school and is said to have disclosed his “deep secret” that he was a boy while in the girls’ toilet of the school.
Following this revelation, the parent said that her daughter became despondent, refusing to talk and suffering from stress-based insomnia, over being “lied” to and that she had been “holding hands with a boy”.
“The fact that a boy was being enrolled as a girl aged four, that alone for me is a massive red flag. Because I don’t see how a child of that age can make that decision…to actually go through a social transition,” the mother said.
“I just want my daughter to be a child. The school’s actions have robbed her of this and that can never be given back.”
The mother said that after finding out that the allegedly transgender child was a boy, she and other members of her family raised concerns with the school, however, they claimed that the leadership of the school were “stonewalling” them and has subsequently removed their daughter from the school.
While the government introduced draft guidance for schools on transgenderism in December, introducing safeguards such as requiring that schools inform parents if they intend on recognising a student as transgender, others have argued that the guidance does not go far enough and that stricter laws must be introduced.
Conservative MP Miriam Cates said: “This is exactly what happens when you don’t treat a child as their biological sex in all circumstances and it shows why treating a child as the opposite sex is a safety risk.
“Although the guidance is headed in the right direction, because it isn’t statutory and it does include exceptions, it doesn’t necessarily stop another case like this happening.”
The government’s Women and Equalities minister, Kemi Badenoch, said that she was “very concerned” about the report, saying: “Government guidance is clear that social transitioning is not a neutral act and is certainly unsuitable for primary school-aged children. I will be making sure that the school is aware of government policy and the law when it comes to gender-questioning children.”
A spokesman for the school said that they were aware of the concerns raised by parents and that they are in “open dialogue” with all parents involved.
“The safety and wellbeing of all of our pupils is our utmost priority and we take any reports of bullying and safeguarding concerns extremely seriously. All are dealt with in line with statutory and local guidance, and our policies and procedures,” the spokesman said.
“We are unable to comment on individual pupils. We are proud we are an inclusive school and welcome all children to join our school family.”

Sex scandal in a women’s prison? The day before Minister of Justice Katja Meier (44, Greens) visited the Chemnitz prison today (Thursday), allegations against an imprisoned trans woman were causing quite a stir. While the head of the department did not go into detail about the case during the visit, head of the prison Michael Brinkmann took a stand.
That’s what it’s all about: In several letters, women made serious accusations against a trans man who was also imprisoned. The inmate had repeatedly forced other women to perform sexual acts.
After the allegations emerged, the inmate was transferred to a men’s prison last November, as prison warden Brinkmann announced in response to a TAG24 enquiry.
However, he did not confirm the alleged abuse in his prison – there were “no known specific cases of sexual abuse or other incidents of criminal relevance”.
But how did the trans man end up in a women’s prison in the first place? According to the Federal Constitutional Court, assigning a person’s gender solely on the basis of external sexual characteristics is not permitted. For this reason, “an appropriately sensitive approach must be taken” when transferring a person to a prison, says Brinkmann.
