A major controversy erupted after Khursheed Alam (Lal Babu), an Assistant Professor at Jay Prakash University (JPU) in Bihar’s Chhapra made anti-national posts on Facebook demanding a ‘separate’ nation for Indian Muslims by adjoining Pakistan and Bangladesh. Meanwhile, Akhil Bhartiya Vidhyarthi Parishad (ABVP) has registered a strong protest against Khursheed Alam’s controversial Facebook posts.

ABVP members have submitted a memorandum to the Vice Chancellor Professor Ranjit Kumar of Narayan College Goriyakothi, Siwan, a unit of JPU seeking his dismissal.

ABVP activists have demanded the formation of an investigation committee and the filing of a case against Professor Khursheed Alam. State University Work Co-Head Rajnikant Singh, University Convenor Prashant Singh, University Research Head Himanshu Kumar, and Prabhakar Kumar were among those who handed over the memorandum. BJYM state regional in-charge Rajiv Tiwari, on the other hand, demanded action from the university in this matter and stated that the students will protest until appropriate action is taken. Meanwhile, the varsity authorities have issued a show-cause notice to Professor Khursheed Alam.

OpIndia checked the Facebook profile of the accused professor and found numerous anti-national posts instigating Indian Muslims to seek a separate ‘homeland’.

On Tuesday (2nd January), Khursheed Alam alias Lal Babu wrote on Facebook appealing to the governments of neighbouring Islamic countries Bangladesh and Pakistan that Indian Muslims want a separate nation for themselves as he wrote, “I am appealing both the governments that the Indian Muslims want a separate homeland adjoining Pakistan and Bangladesh.”

In another post, Alam claimed that Hindu nationalists are ‘justifying the two-nation theory as he wrote, “The Hindu nationalists are justifying the two-nation theory, therefore the much-publicized communal questions needed to be resolved first.”

It is worth mentioning here that the Two Nation Theory was first touted by Sir Syed Ahmed Khan, the founder of the Aligarh Muslim University. Khan had in 1876 said that he was convinced that Hindus and Muslims could never be one nation owing to the distinctiveness of their way of living and religion. Years later, in 1888, Khan asserted that if the British left India with all their canons and weapons, who would rule this country he argued that both Hindus and Muslims could not sit on the same throne, adding that one must conquer the other.

In other Facebook posts, Khursheed Alam expressed his respect for the national anthems of Pakistan and Bangladesh.

Another post by the JPU university professor reads, “India is harassing the Muslim minorities, the right to dissent is completely violated by the government.”

On 19th December last year, Professor Alam wrote, “The Hindu Rights have demolished the entire idea of secularism, the time has come that the Muslims must demand a separate homeland adjoining Pak and Bangladesh.”

In a 29th September 2023 post, Khursheed Alam wrote, “Long live Pakistan” and demanded the “right to dissent and self-determination”.

In another outrageous post, Alam lamented that Indian Muslims have been languishing in jails for years under UAPA and other stringent provisions. He also expressed his disdain for Brahmins as he accused the Bhartiya Janata Party and even Congress of being “Brahminical parties”.

In his above-mentioned and other posts, the JPU professor has repeatedly claimed that the Indian government has failed to uphold the right to dissent of religious ‘minorities’, specifically Muslims. Contrary to his assertion, Indian Muslims have a greater right to dissent in India than even in Islamic countries. While the professor laments the fact that a significant number (30%) of people in Indian jails are Muslims, he overlooks the fact that people are imprisoned for the crime they committed, not their religion.

Notably, Indian jails have four types of prisoners: convicts (those found guilty of a crime and sentenced by a court), undertrials (those currently on trial in a court of law), detainees (those lawfully detained), and those who do not fit into any of these three categories and make up a small proportion of the total number of prisoners. Instead of encouraging community-wide introspection, the communist ‘professor’ is peddling fissiparous propaganda and inciting his co-religionists to seek a separate nation.

As you might have heard, we are still waiting on the global warming in Sweden. We just had the coldest temperature this century.

Back in 2006 the media warned us that by 2026 people would have forgotten how to ski because of the lack of snow…

Now it’s being reported that a person living in Arjeplog noted a chillingly cold -49,7C (that’s -57,5 Fahrenheit) on his thermometer before it stopped working when it hit -50C.

This is very close to being the coldest temperature ever recorded in Sweden. The record sits at -52,6C all the way back in 1966.

This cold weather is causing trouble for public transport. You see, the city of Skellefteå where they “only” had -34C this morning, have been investing in electric busses, to save the climate of course! Their goal is to replace all diesel busses with electric as soon as possible.

But…

It turns out that they are having to CANCEL almost all busses today because of the cold weather – The busses have to be parked indoors to warm up.

They say that the electric busses are struggling to keep warm in the cold weather.

“The electric busses will probably be removed from traffic this afternoon because they have very difficult to keep warm when in service…It is clear that the electric busses are affected the most of this extreme cold” said Marie Larsson, CEO at Skellefteå buss.

When asked if diesel busses can manage these kind of temperatures, she answered “Yes. I mean, no busses can handle these kind of temperatures for long…when it is like this for several days, all busses are affected”

So it is too cold for the new electric busses. They invest all this time and money into something that doesn’t work because of the weather.

Of course, the electric busses use their battery to heat the cabin, meaning that the range is drastically shortened. Is this the real issue here?

Maybe we need some more global warming so that these electric busses can work properly…?

The president of France’s supreme audit institution admits to deliberately delaying the release of a report on illegal immigration costs until after the parliamentary debate—and vote—on immigration law. The report, just released by the Cour des Comptes, shows the exorbitant sum of €1.8 billion charged to illegal immigration in 2023. 

Published on Thursday, January 4th, the report is a harsh indictment of government policy, in particular the actions of Interior Minister Gérald Darmanin, who boasts of having taken a tough stance on managing illegal immigrants. Darmanin claims to have introduced an effective policy for expelling illegal immigrants and says the expulsion rate of delinquent foreigners is up by 30%. 

The first president of the Court, former socialist minister Pierre Moscovici, would normally have published the report in question on December 13th—two days after the vote on the motion to reject the first version of the immigration law—but preferred to remain temporarily silent on a document that is damning for the government. He defended himself by explaining that he did not want “this publication to interfere in any way with the political debate.”

The positive figures put forward by the Ministry are only a small part of a much bleaker overall picture. None of the aspects subjected to the rigorous analysis of the Court advisers is satisfactory. 

Border management is judged to be catastrophic, with identity checks virtually never carried out, and no information being seriously collected. 

The administrations and courts responsible for deportations are totally saturated, as the number of orders to leave France (Obligation de Quitter le Territoire Français, or OQTF) issued has actually risen by 60% over the last five years, while the number of staff responsible for dealing with them has only increased by 9%. OQTFs are often contested and the administrative courts are unable to manage the cases properly due to a lack of staff and resources. 

Another major shortcoming is that deportation orders are issued but not enforced. The debates of the last few months have widely circulated the critical figure of only 10% enforcement of the famous OQTFs, which is now well known to the French public. The report draws the following conclusion: 

The disconnect between the number of removal orders issued and their actual enforcement demonstrates the State’s difficulties in enforcing its particularly numerous decisions, even under duress. It sends out the wrong signal.

The report also notes that France is lagging behind its European neighbours in terms of “removal measures.”

The most important figure to take away from this voluminous report is that of the total cost of illegal immigration to France: €1.8 billion per year, essentially borne by the Ministry of the Interior. This staggering figure undermines an argument frequently put forward by the Left, namely that immigration has ‘enriched’ the country. And the Court report only looks at the cost of illegal immigration. 

All in all, the content of the report offers nothing really new for those who take a close interest in France’s migration policy, such as the Institut pour la justice, which regularly reports on the failings of government policy in this area. The recommendations to be found in the report are in line with the second version of the immigration bill that was finally adopted by the National Assembly at the end of December, based on recommendations from the Right and the Senate. 

The most serious aspect of this episode is the political manoeuvring of President Moscovici, who has arrogated to himself a political role contrary to his status as a public administrator by deliberately hiding a report because he was afraid of providing arguments likely to justify the right-wing’s hard-line stance. This attitude is emblematic of the French deep state’s resistance to genuine immigration reform.

A 17-year-old Jewish student at the Jewish Free School (JFS) school in London was attacked on Thursday outside the school grounds by two unknown teenagers, according to local media.

The teenagers had been having a heated exchange on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, according to the Jewish Chronicle, when one of the unknown attackers punched the Jewish student. The assault was witnessed by the school’s security guard, who was unable to intervene in the attack in time. Both attackers were able to escape. 

The headteacher of JFS, Dr. David Moody, said in a statement that only one security guard had been present because “the incident occurred before the end of school.” The 17-year-old was “leaving earlier because of the Year 13 mock examinations,” which meant that the same protections were not in place. 

Moody continued to state, according to the JC, that the school will have multiple security guards from 3 PM going forward, which is when the nearby Kingsbury High School releases its students. It is not stated or confirmed that the attackers were from Kingsbury High. 

“Kingsbury High have been extremely supportive and have made a number of long-term suspensions where anyone has used antisemitic language or physical aggression,” Moody said. “It sadly remains the case that a very small number of very small-minded people wish to use what is happening in Israel and Gaza as an excuse to perpetuate their desire to cause trouble. To that end, I spoke with the Inspector for Brent Schools yesterday and they have tasked 12 officers with overseeing the security of JFS, in addition to extra support to be provided by the British Transport Police. They are taking these incidents very seriously.”

A spokesperson for the Community Security Trust, a charity which safeguards Jews in the United Kingdom, said “This was a distressing assault in which a Jewish student was singled out and attacked, and the link between extreme anti-Israel hatred and anti-Jewish violence was made clear by his attackers. We are working with the police and JFS security to provide increased protection for JFS students when they leave school each day.”

Campaign Against Antisemitism condemned the incident on X, and wrote: “If your response to events occurring thousands of miles away is to attack Jewish children in Britain, then you have a problem with Jews.Advertisement

“More than six in ten British Jews have either personally experienced or witnessed an antisemitic incident since 7th October or know somebody who has, according to our latest polling.”

Gary Mond, Chairman of the National Jewish Assembly, told the Jerusalem Post that this was yet another horrendous example of how Jew hatred had become endemic in Britain.

He added “The frequency of attacks such as this calls into question, to an increasing extent, whether the Jewish community, as a whole, still feels safe in the UK. While our CST makes every effort to protect us, they and the police are fighting a rising tide of antisemitism. The sources are the political neo-Nazi far-right, the woke and intolerant political left, and also, importantly, Islamist fundamentalism. There needs to be a real debate about the solutions.”

On November 11, at a concert entitled ” The armed man: a mass for peace “, musician Yassine Hawa sang the Adhan (call to prayer) in the Sainte-Trinité church in Paris.

Following the numerous complaints from internet users on social networks, Father Emmanuel P., the parish priest of the Paris parish, published a statement in which he shares the parishioners’ bewilderment and explains that he had not been informed about the interpretation of this call to prayer, which is normally sounded in Islamic countries.

The unrest in the Catholic ranks is far from over, as Globalist Pope Francis tries to deal with widespread international backlash to the Vatican’s recent declaration on same-sex blessings contained in the Fiducia Supplicans document.

The Vatican’s doctrine office (also called the Holy Office) issued a press release to ‘clarify the reception’ of the new directives.

We have written here about how Cardinal Víctor Manuel Fernández, the prefect of the Vatican’s Dicastery for the Doctrine of the Faith, is a controversial prelate, author of books like ‘The Art of Kissing,’ and target of accusations (by victims groups) of covering up sexual assault allegations in his diocese.

Many see him as a very wrong person to lead a ‘fine-tuning’ of pastoral directives that were received instead of widely perceived dogma and doctrine.

Cardinal Fernández published a five-page press release underlining that pastoral blessings of couples in irregular situations should not be ‘an endorsement of the life led by those who request them.’

A young female jogger was violently attacked as she ran through a park in the French city of Toulouse on Tuesday by a Nigerian illegal immigrant who reportedly claimed to have wanted to kill her and was already the subject of five deportation orders.

The incident occurred shortly before 2 p.m. in a small park to the west of the city when 27-year-old Lola was accosted by the suspect who attempted to rape her at knifepoint.

French newspaper Le Parisien reported how the man pulled down her leggings and ordered her to “let it happen” but Lola resisted and cried out for help, prompting the suspect to punch her several times in the face and attempt to strangle her.

Lola’s fate may have been sealed had it not been for a 58-year-old homeless man who heard her plea for help and intervened, causing the suspect to flee.

Emergency responders tended to the victim at the scene and treated her for a swollen face. She was also in shock.

Authorities found a knife, trainers, and a cap at the scene belonging to the suspect, and the eyewitness had managed to take a photograph of the suspect.

The following day, the 32-year-old Nigerian national surrendered himself to a police station in Marseille where he was arrested and held in custody.

On Thursday, Toulouse public prosecutor Samuel Vuelta Simon confirmed the suspect was illegally residing in France and was known to the authorities. He has made multiple applications for French citizenship since 2018, all of which have been denied.

French media also reported that the suspect had previously been issued with five orders to leave French territory, known as OQTFs.

It is understood that during his police interview, the suspect claimed to have wanted to kill the victim, resulting in an upgrade of the charges against the man by the public prosecutor to attempted homicide and aggravated rape.

The latest Islamic State call for the murder of Christian and Jewish civilians in Europe and the U.S. hardly comes as a surprise, given that it follows a long line of such terroristic rallying cries. But it is worth noting lest it become something we in the West accept as a normal state of affairs.

In the audio message released online, and later reported by a handful of Western news outlets, ISIS spokesman Abu Hudhayfah al-Ansari instructed the “lions of Islam” to target “Christians, Jews and their allies in the streets of Europe, the United States and the world.” The message is entitled “Kill Them Wherever You Find Them,” according to FDD’s Long War Journal.

The spokesman made clear that attacks should specifically be made against “soft” and “civilian” targets, particularly in religious centres “such as synagogues and churches.”

On Thursday, the group claimed responsibility for two explosions in Iran—already titled “the bloodiest such attack since the 1979 Islamic Revolution”—that killed nearly 100 people. Hundreds of others were left wounded, including children. Tehran had been quick to point the finger at the U.S. and Israel, with senior official Mohammad Jamshidi declaring on Wednesday:

Jamshidi has not removed this post on Twitter despite IS’ claim.

In its statement, IS, which is a Sunni jihadist group, told Hamas terrorists not to engage with ‘heretical’ Shiite organisations, which would include Hezbollah and, of course, Iran. Iran has already insisted it will not enter the war against Israel, despite backing Hamas.

Judge Loretta Preska on Wednesday unsealed the first cache of documents from lawsuits related to Jeffrey Epstein’s abuse which potentially included names of over 150 people.

The first set of documents detailed Ghislaine Maxwell’s recruiting techniques, Prince Andrew’s abuse of the trafficked victims, and Bill Clinton’s fondness for “young” girls.
