On Saturday (December 2), a man shouting “Allahu Akbar” killed a German tourist and injured two others in a knife attack in central Paris near the Eiffel Tower. The assailant is reported to have said that he was ‘upset’ over the death of Muslims in Afghanistan and Palestine. The name of the attacker has not been revealed.

Taking to X, France’s Interior Minister Gerald Darmanin confirmed the attack and said that the attacker has been arrested by the police.

“The police have just courageously arrested an assailant attacking passers-by in Paris, around the Quai de Grenelle. One deceased person and one injured person were treated by the Paris Fire Brigade. Please avoid the area,” Minister Darmanin posted.

Speaking to the media later, the Minister informed the attack took place at around 7 PM GMT when a man attacked a couple with a knife. The man was then chased by police, he then attacked two other people with a hammer before police arrested the 25-year-old French national, using a Taser stun gun. Darmanin said that the assailant shouted “Allahu Akbar” slogans and told police he was upset because “so many Muslims are dying in Afghanistan and in Palestine”.

The reports say that the anti-terrorism prosecutor’s office has taken charge of the investigation into the attack.

Reacting to the deadly attack, French President Emmanuel Macron offered condolences to the victims of the terrorist attack. “I send all my condolences to the family and loved ones of the German national who died this evening during the terrorist attack in Paris and think of the people currently injured and in care. My most sincere thanks to the emergency forces who made it possible to quickly arrest a suspect. The national anti-terrorism prosecutor’s office will be responsible for shedding light on this matter so that justice can be done in the name of the French people,” President Macron posted on X.

Meanwhile, French Prime Minister Élisabeth Borne has expressed solidarity with the victims. “Following this evening’s attack in Paris, my thoughts are with the victim, the injured and their loved ones. I salute the courage and professionalism of our law enforcement and our mobilized emergency services. We will not give in to terrorism. Never,” Borne posted on X.

Reports say that the attacker had spent four years in prison earlier for planning a violent attack. He was released from jail after four years in 2020 and was under surveillance and receiving psychiatric therapy. The assailant was born in the Paris suburb of Neuilly-Sur-Seine. He was lately staying in the Essonne region, south of Paris, with his parents.

In October this year, a similar knife attack was reported at a school in Arras, resulting in the loss of a person’s life and causing severe injuries to two others after a terrorist named Mohammed Moguchkov screaming “Allahu Akbar” attacked the victim and inflicted severe blows. The fatal knife attack took place on ‘Global Day of Jihad’ which was called by Hamas terrorists on the first Friday since the 7th October terror attack on Israel.

Transgender Teenager Pleads Guilty to Planning School, Church Shootings In Colorado

A trans-identified male has pleaded guilty to Second-Degree Assault for threatening to target three schools in Colorado Springs, Colorado. William Whitworth, 19, accepted an arrangement and entered a plea of “guilty” to a class 4 felony offense on November 6.

Whitworth was arrested on March 31 on suspicion of attempted first-degree murder after a concerned family member called the Elbert County Sheriff’s Office. At the time, he admitted to planning to commit shootings at local schools and deputies dispatched to Whitworth’s residence discovered a labeled floor plan of a school. Whitworth was born male but uses “she/her” pronouns and refers to himself as “Lilly” or “Lily.”

Police were sent to Whitworth’s address after his sister called and claimed that he was punching holes in the wall and had made references to school shootings. According to the affidavit, Whitworth’s sister used “she/her” pronouns to refer to her brother. Police also referred to Whitworth using feminine pronouns in their affidavit, though recorded his sex as “male.”

When police arrived, they found Whitworth drunk in his room, which was littered with filth. The house was in extreme disrepair, and deputies noted that “there was trash piled up all around the house to where it made it hard to walk inside.”

During a search of the premises, authorities discovered a “manifesto” which included the names of several school shooters, as well as additional drawings and floor plans of schools. There were also photos describing a make-shift bomb and detonation device. While speaking to police, Whitworth stated he had gone onto YouTube to learn how to make a detonator for a bomb.

Contained within Whitworth’s notebook was also a list of firearms with 3D printing instructions, and a list of political personalities, including commentator Lauren Southern, with comments.

According to records, there were three schools Whitworth had intended to target, including Timberview Middle School, Prairie Hills Elementary, and Pine Creek High School. While Whitworth confirmed that Timberview was the main target, he also stated he had a desire to attack churches as well.

Initially Whitworth was booked and held on a $75,000 bond. But, while in jail, Whitworth reportedly told a prison official that he still wanted to carry out his plans if bonded out. As a result, his bond was increased to $750,000 in order to make it more difficult for him to leave pretrial detention.

In the press release detailing the plea agreement from the Office of the 18th Judicial District Attorney, Whitworth was referred to by “they/them” pronouns.

Whitworth faces a maximum prison term of 16 years. Sentencing is scheduled for January 19, 2024. His case is part of a worrying trend that has seen an escalation in threats of violence, or actual violence, carried out in US school systems this year.

In November, a trans-identified male was indicted on 14 felony counts following sinister threats to commit a school shooting and murder children “on behalf” of the transgender community. Alexia Willie, born Jason Lee Willie, also promised to rape young girls in public restrooms in retaliation for transphobia.

Court records reveal that Willie threatened to rape young girls in bathroom facilities, in addition to stating his intention to carry out a copy-cat killing of a horrific March shooting at the Covenant School in Nashville, Tennessee. During that incident, a trans-identified female left 6 dead, 3 of whom were children aged 9, in an act of brutality that left the nation stunned.

Severe Winter Storm Freezes Plane in the Runway in Munich, Germany (VIDEO)

Source: @schoko131/X

Southern Germany experienced a severe winter storm this past weekend, leading to major disruptions at Munich Airport, the nation’s second-largest aviation hub.

The airport announced a halt in flight operations until 6 a.m. Sunday, following the intense snowfall that began Friday night and persisted through Saturday, German news outlet DW reported.

The airport, normally bustling with activity, descended into chaos as a relentless barrage of heavy snow took its toll on the flight schedule.

The German DPA news agency reported that approximately 320 of the 760 flights scheduled for Saturday were canceled. Airport crews were in a frantic effort to maintain at least one runway operational and snow-free.

The German DWD weather service painted a grim picture, forecasting continuous snowfall throughout Saturday afternoon across much of Bavaria. A staggering 30-40 centimeters (approximately 12-15 inches) was expected to accumulate, a significant chunk of which was set to fall in a span of 12 hours overnight into Saturday.

A particularly surreal moment was captured and shared on social media by a Twitter user, Sylvia Kossligk, who documented a small plane, seemingly frozen and solidified mid-takeoff.

Illegal Moroccan migrant arrested in Lanzarote for sexual assault of three children aged 5 to 7

An illegal Moroccan immigrant has been arrested for sexually assaulting three children between the ages of five and seven on the Spanish island of Lanzarote, local police confirmed on Friday.

The assaults date back to an incident on Nov. 20 when the 30-year-old suspect allegedly approached the minors in the street and kissed them on the mouth whilst grabbing their necks, according to a report by Spanish news outlet La Gaceta.

The father of two of the victims told police his sons had been playing with a friend when they were accosted by the man.

Authorities were dispatched to the scene upon receipt of the complaint to locate the suspect but he had fled the scene.

However, one of the children the following day spotted the man who was wearing the same clothes as the previous day, prompting the father to call the police and detain the man until the authorities arrived and arrested him.

It later transpired at the police station that the Moroccan had arrived on the island illegally and had no right to reside in Spain. He was subsequently charged with three counts of sexual assault and placed in pre-trial detention.

Lanzarote, much like the other Canary Islands, has become a hotspot for illegal migrants attempting to reach the European Union as tightened on-land border security has led to an influx in amphibious beach landings on the Spanish archipelago.

In October, the islands recorded over a third of its total illegal arrivals for the entire year as 8,500 people reached Spanish shores from the African mainland in the first two weeks of the month.

The Spanish Police Confederation said at the time that it had concerns over public safety due to an insufficient number of patrol cars as all of its staff were being diverted to assist new arrivals.

The Canaries have now received a record number of illegal migrants in a single year, surpassing 2006 when almost 32,000 new arrivals were recorded.

President of the Canary Islands Fernando Clavijo said the figures “define the humanitarian emergency facing the Canaries”.

Something to hide? Macron allies prevent publication of damning Africa ‘failure’ report

Nosta Lgia

French President Emmanuel Macron’s party is preventing a scathing parliamentary report into France’s Africa policy from being published.

In early November, the National Assembly’s Foreign Affairs Committee considered a policy review that heavily criticised what it said were French failures in Africa in recent years.

While its conclusions have been debated, Deputies, or MPs, from Macron’s Renaissance party have so far prevented the full report from being made public.

Among its criticisms are that French policymakers “do not understand” West African politics or society and that decisions regarding the region have been made by the army rather than the Government.

In addition, it points to what it says is an “embarrassing gap” between French rhetoric emphasising democracy and its policies backing authoritarian regimes.

Talking to Brussels Signal, Andrew Glencross, a politics professor at France’s Université Catholique de Lille, said: “Given foreign policy is squarely a presidential prerogative, any criticism is squarely a personal blow for Emmanuel Macron.”

For Macron, France’s retreat from Africa recently is seen by many as marking a loss of national and presidential prestige. A series of coups in the past two years resulted in French forces having to return home from Mali in 2022, Burkina Faso in 2023 and Niger starting in October this year.

For years, France had been keeping troops across the Sahel region, the vast, insecure scrublands south of the Sahara, where they fought a decade-long operation against Islamist militants. It was France’s largest foreign armed deployment since the Algerian War, some 60 years ago.

The Sahel operations reinforced a tradition of regarding the French-speaking states of Africa, so-called Françafrique, as France’s rightful sphere of influence, from president Charles de Gaulle onwards.

From the late 1950s, involvement in Africa offered de Gaulle grounds for depicting France as a global power. That also found favour with the US, as it helped prevent the continent from falling under Soviet influence. France undertook, on average, one military intervention in Africa a year from 1960 to the mid-1990s.

Today, the situation is different. “Africa policy in France is seen almost exclusively through the lens of migration; to a lesser degree energy and raw materials,” Glencross pointed out.

Regarding these issues, France’s approach is now “to lean a lot on the EU for policy solutions”, he added.

That has resulted in “a lot more realism about what France can achieve unilaterally”, with military means “now finally also being seen as limited in their efficacy”, Glencross added.

The policy review came about after French civil servants became alarmed at how rapidly France’s traditional allies in the region appeared to be turning against the country.

“In recent years, officials in Paris have grown increasingly concerned about rising anti-French sentiment in Africa and have mulled how to counter it,” said Mary Fitzgerald, a scholar at the Middle East Institute in Washington, US.

“The parliamentary report adds fresh urgency to the debate,” she added.

The leaders of the recent military coups across West Africa depict themselves as having successfully freed their nations from French “neocolonialism”.

Adding to governmental discomfort in Paris, Russia and the Kremlin-backed mercenary Wagner Group have moved into the vacuum left by the French withdrawal.

In 2017, Macron declared in Burkina Faso: “There is no longer a French Africa policy!” He had meant to claim France was moving beyond post-colonialism and Françafrique but the statement was seen as a confession of policy incoherence.

The effective failure of France’s Sahel intervention is an embarrassment for Macron at a time when Marine Le Pen, parliamentary party leader of the National Rally in the Assembly, consistently polls well ahead of the other contenders for the 2027 presidential election.

Still, deputies from Macron’s party are in a strong position in the legislature to bury awkward policy reviews such as the latest into French Africa policy.

His Renaissance party is in a healthy, although not a majority, position in the National Assembly, with 171 of the chamber’s 577 seats. Two coalition partners bring its total to 251, more than any other group of parties.

COP28 Craziness: EU Chief Demands ‘Trillions’ for Green Agenda at U.N. Climate Summit

The European Union appears undeterred by years of calamitous climate policies, with EU Commission Chief Ursula von der Leyen demanding new taxes and other schemes to take green agenda investment into the “trillions”.

Leaders from around the world descended (many of whom on private jets) upon the oil-rich Arabian nation of Dubai for the 28th instalment of the United Nation’s top annual climate summit, in which politicians demand that ordinary citizens bankroll their lofty visions of a so-called green future.

Despite people suffering across Europe under an energy crisis as a result of the war in Ukraine and the years of dumping money into dubious ‘renewable’ energy sources, EU Chief Ursula von der Leyen’s takeaway was to double down on the very same policies that precipitated Europe’s precarious energy situation.

“More is needed,” the German politician urged, proclaiming: “We have to move from billions to trillions.”

The EU leader admitted that to accomplish such a goal, Brussels will need to “find new sources of revenue”. To do so, von der Leyen said that she “fully supports” the plan proposed by Kenyan President William Ruto and French President Emmanuel Macron to impose a global green tax targeting financial transactions to “raise more money for climate action.”

In addition, von der Leyen called for increased efforts to expand “green bonds” to “facilitate the flow of private capital in green projects,” particularly for developing nations. She said that last year, the European Union contributed nearly 30 billion dollars in climate finance to developing countries.

The EU chief also said that there needs to be an expansion of carbon pricing, a central feature of the European Green Deal that imposes taxes on emissions to incentivise businesses to lower their so-called carbon footprint. She said that in the two decades of carbon pricing, the EU has taken in 175 billion euros in revenues from companies, which was then directed to climate change projects.

Finally, von der Leyen highlighted the EU’s 300-billion-euro ‘Global Gateway’ answer to Communist China’s Belt and Road programme, saying that by sending money to developing nations, the European Union would help them “leapfrog into a clean energy future”.

“We Europeans are interested to invest because this diversifies and strengthens our supply chains in these growing new markets. It is the best investment any of us can make,” the EU chief said.

Elsewhere at the United Nations summit, leftist leaders took aim at the West for allegedly causing the supposed climate emergency, with socialist Bolivian Vice President David Choquehuanca saying that “Mother Earth” was in crisis because of “neocolonial, capitalist, imperialist, patriarchal, Western culture.”

“The climate crisis is but the latest chapter in a long history of hypocrisy and lies: The ‘Global North’ is responsible for the global imbalance that we’re seeing,” he said, adding: “They seek permanent growth to the detriment of the Global South.”

The climate summit also saw leaders of 130 countries commit to including cutting emissions from farming a key pillar of their respective green agendas, despite food prices soaring globally as a result of rising energy costs.

While the pledge does not mandate any specific taxes on food production, the declaration will likely see more disputes with farmers, who have waged large-scale protest movements in countries like the Netherlands over environmentalist schemes to shut down their businesses.

German Christmas market opens in the Franconian town of Karlstadt with the call of the muezzin

screen grab X

In Karlstadt, a tranquil little town in Franconia, the Andreasmarkt took place on November 26, which this year was intended to bring visitors closer to Islam.

Under the motto “Orient meets Occident”, the local mosque organisations, including the Ditib mosque, which is under Turkish control, were in charge. A muezzin opened the market with a noisy Islamic prayer chant via loudspeakers:

After the opening, the event continued in the spirit of oriental-Islamic customs: relevant Muslim prayer practices were presented on stage, for example the postures in which symbolic submission should take place.

Christian Christmas carols were completely dispensed with at the advertised “pre-Christmas flea market”, with a children’s choir performing Muslim songs instead. The culinary offerings were also adapted to the oriental concept: Instead of mulled wine and roasted almonds, this time there was roasted Turkish garlic sausage and tantuni, reports the newspaper Main Post.

Who is behind the event organisers?
Ditib, the Turkish-Islamic Union of the Institute for Religion, is one of the largest Islamic organisations in Germany. It comprises over 900 member organisations, mainly mosque communities. As an organisation, Ditib reports directly to Diyanet, the Turkish state religious authority.

Ditib and the Turkish umbrella organisation Diyanet have been criticised for years for being the mouthpiece of the Turkish AKP government, for holding anti-Semitic sermons in Ditib mosques and for publicly praying for the Turkish invasion of the Kurdish regions. “O Allah, lead our glorious army to victory” is the text of the prayer.

The local newspaper Main Post reported uncritically on the event and noted that the turnout was low. The lack of interest in the Islam Market was attributed to the bad weather.
