German Cardinal Müller says mass migration is being used to destroy national identities

Cardinal Gerhard Müller, LifeSiteNews

Editor’s note: LifeSiteNews journalists Maike Hickson and Andreas Wailzer conducted the interview with Cardinal Gerhard Müller in German and translated his words into English.

Cardinal Gerhard Müller has said that “self-appointed” globalists are using mass migration to destroy the national identity of countries.

In an exclusive interview with LifeSiteNews, Müller talked about the ideologies behind globalism and their dire consequences.

“Mass immigration is not about helping people but about destroying national identity,” Müller said. “They say that national identity is nationalism, which has caused all the wars, so they say they are against nationalism, but they are really against the nation.”

“If nationalism is the reason for wars, we must ask who is financing the wars and what interests are behind it.”

“They want everyone to be completely isolated and not connected by language, culture, family ties, or a native land where you feel at home,” Müller continued.

“They want to destroy all that. They want everyone to be atomized, without cultural and religious roots and identity,” he concluded.

Müller also believes the elites are committing a “genocide” by promoting abortion and euthanasia.

The German cardinal said many globalists believe that there are “too many” people on Earth who are causing “climate damage.”

To fight this supposed “overpopulation,” these powerful elites are using abortion and euthanasia as part of an “extermination program,” Müller told LifeSiteNews.

“And at the same time, anyone who criticizes this is called a Nazi by those who themselves promote the murderous Nazi ideology of ‘might makes right’… The genocide that is now being carried out is protected through propaganda by equating its critics with the people who committed the genocide in the past,” the cardinal added.

“The perversion of their logic is to portray the victims as the perpetrators. What is the depopulation program other than a plan of reducing people through violence?”

Müller explained that the “Nazi” accusation is often used as an “instrument of power” to suppress dissent.

“They [the globalists] don’t care that suicide rates among young people are growing worldwide. It’s just right for them.”

This low regard for human life comes from the philosophical position of materialism that the globalists subscribe to, Müller told LifeSiteNews. According to the materialists, “human beings are just matter, just a mass of people that can be manipulated,” he explained.

France: Migrant with 28 convictions beats man and his godson after they refuse to give him their soda, also attacked security guard with kitchen knife in separate incident

An illegal migrant, who despite 28 criminal convictions was never deported from France, has been convicted for beating a father and his godson after they refused to give him a soda while traveling on public transport in Le Mans.

Police say the 30-year-old suspect attacked the victims on Nov. 18 after the man and his godson refused to give him a soda. The defendant admits to being drunk at the time, and said: “I wanted to scare them.”

The police state the suspect beat the victims with his fists and strangled the minor, although the defendant disputes that he severely assaulted them, according to French publication Actu.fr.

Just four days before, the illegal migrant, who was also drunk at the time, attacked a security guard who had been protecting a housing association that had banned the migrant from entering the property.

The suspect, who was furious about the ban, threatened to kill the security guard with an axe. An hour later, he returned with two kitchen knives and attacked the security guard, who defended himself with a trash can.

Again, the defendant said in court that he “only wanted to scare him,” after the security guard testified against the suspect.

Following the prosecutor’s recommendations, the court sentenced the suspect to 24 months in prison. It remains unclear which country the foreign national is originally from or whether the suspect will be deported after his sentence is served.

The migrant has an enormous criminal record, despite being in France illegally. He has, for example, been charged with beating a public official after his residence permit was withdrawn.

“My residence permit was withdrawn from me, I wanted another one,” said the defendant.

He has 28 convictions, including many for violence, and the court recognized he has a problem with alcohol.

France has struggled to deport illegal immigrants, including those with serious criminal records. For example, the country has only managed to deport 0.2 percent of all Algerians who were ordered to be deported by a court. French President Emmanuel Macron said in 2020 that he was aiming for a 100 percent deportation rate, although that rate has remained below 15 percent.

WATCH: BBC News Presenter Flips the Middle Finger in Live on Air Blunder

Screenshot

A BBC News presenter was caught giving the middle finger to the world Wednesday during a live television broadcast.

The obscene gesture came just hours before BBC decided to hike their licence fee by just over £10, meaning British people will have to pay £169 a year to access the service they already fund with their taxes, according to The Sun.

Maryam Moshiri was sitting at her broadcast desk when she made the move and appeared to be joking with bosses behind the scenes when she flashed the rude sign to camera.

The mortifying blunder occurred just as the BBC show came on air meaning viewers were greeted with the insult.

Moshiri, 46, one of the network’s chief presenters, appeared panicked when she realised she was live and scrambled to continue the bulletin while composing herself.

She swiftly said: “Live from London, this is BBC News.”

The awkward incident occurred on the world feed of BBC News at 12 noon UK time.

The channel in the UK was showing Prime Minister’s Questions from Westminster, with some of the headlines relating to that.

Maryam later issued an apology over the mistake.

Her gesture came on the same day it was revealed the BBC licence fee will likely rise by just over £10 next year as the government reduces the planned increase due to the pressure of the cost of living, according to reports.

The issue of UK taxpayers having to pay to access a service they already fund has long been problematic for governments of all sides with calls made to defund the BBC in its entirety, as Breitbart News reported.

For the past two years the licence fee has been frozen at £159 but it was previously agreed it would rise in line with inflation after April 2024, which would see it increase by nine percent – or £15 – to £173.30.

The Sun newspaper reports ministers have pressed the corporation to settle in line with September’s consumer prices index (CPI) rate of inflation of 6.7 percent which would instead bring it up by £10.65 to £169.65 per year.

The BBC’s funding dropped from £3.8billion to £3.74billion in the last year with the number of viewers paying for the licence fee plummeting by 500,000 to 24.3 million.

Bosses blamed competition from streaming giants such as Netflix and newcomers like GB News for the decline.

Culture Secretary Lucy Frazer is expected to make an announcement on the licence fee in the Commons on Thursday.

Germany: CDU Fears Islamist Bloc As Millions of Turkish Migrants To Be Granted Voting Rights

New German citizenship laws that expand voting rights to up to 2.5 million recent migrants are unnerving even the usually complacent CDU, with one conservative lawmaker airing fears that the new arrangement could enable a potential Islamist bloc to attain parliamentary representation in the Bundestag.

The migrant voters are expected to be added to the electoral registry under plans by Berlin’s ruling traffic light coalition to fast-track naturalisation among Germany’s foreign-born population, which would reduce the residency time needed to attain citizenship to as little as three years.

This rapid and politically calculated expansion of suffrage has lent itself to fears of a Turkish-led Islamist takeover, with CDU MP Alexander Throm stating that the proposed legislation could fuel the “demographic potential” for an AKP-controlled spinoff party in Germany.

The general Turkish diaspora numbers approximately 7 million in Germany, with 1.5 million partaking directly in recent Turkish elections.

An estimated 67% of Turks in Germany voted to reelect Erdoğan and his nationalist AKP party during May’s election, prompting fears within mainstream German society that integration measures have failed and that Ankara was increasing its influence at the heart of Europe.

Relations between Turkey and the West have been souring in recent years over fears that Erdoğan and the AKP are drifting to embrace Islamic populism amid an ongoing dispute about Sweden’s NATO membership bid and controversy over the burning of the Quran by right-wing agitators across Scandinavia.

Concerns over the Turkish penetration of German politics have long been around, with Erdoğan previously triggering a major diplomatic spat in 2017 when he openly rallied the Turkish diaspora against then-Chancellor Angela Merkel.

Speaking to the Bavarian daily Münchner Merkur, Hermann Binkert of the research institute INSA said there was growing civic and electoral space for political Islam in Germany, with the government’s proposals opening up the path for a Muslim party to get the 5% needed to enter the Bundestag.

Germany has been wrestling with the thorny issues of migration and demographic change for the past decade, with the populist AfD rocketing to second place in opinion polling.

This week alone, Berlin led EU efforts to curtail the sale of fighter jets to Ankara as the two nations heavily diverged over the issue of Israel as Turkey channels Arab animosity in the hopes of becoming the leader of the Islamic world.

Trans-Identified Male Accused Of Sexually Abusing Infant Will Be Represented By Trans Activist Lawyer

CONTENT NOTICE: This article contains a graphic description of child sexual abuse involving an infant. Reader discretion is appreciated.

A trans-identified male in McCracken County, Kentucky is facing charges of child sexual abuse after reportedly molesting a baby in his care. Maria Childres, 25, had been employed as a daycare worker in Paducah, Kentucky when the abuse is said to have occurred.

Childres was arrested in February of this year after the Department of Community Based Services (DCBS) received an anonymous tip detailing an alleged incident of abuse that had occurred in November of 2022. The tip, reportedly written by one of Childres’ co-workers, accused him of making inappropriate comments towards an infant while changing the child’s diaper, and touching the baby inappropriately.

Following the receipt of the DCBS report, Paducah Police went down to Explore Learning Academy, Childres’ place of employment, to investigate. They spoke with a witness who corroborated the details of the anonymous report, and spoke with the director of the Academy, who appeared to have been aware of Childers’ behavior with the baby. Despite knowing what had occurred, the director had only given him a “write up.”

Reduxx has obtained the citation from the Paducah Police Department detailing the complaint, in which Childres is referred to using “she/her” pronouns despite his legal sex being male.

According to the citation, Childres was confronted by another co-worker while he was changing the infant, who was concerned he was hurting her while wiping her genital area.

In response, Childres reportedly said “that was her clit area and she likes it. It just made her day.”

The witness police spoke with also stated that she saw Childres rub the baby’s vaginal area with his fingers while making the sickening remark.

After being taken to the police station for questioning, Childres initially claimed he had not changed the infant’s diaper at all. He later admitted to having done so after an officer presented him with evidence in the form of a text that he had sent to the daycare’s director confirming the baby’s diaper had been changed.

Childres maintained that he had not made inappropriate comments or touched the baby sexually, and that he “often says things that are taken out of context.”

Childres was charged with first-degree sexual abuse of a victim under the age of 12, and has been housed in the McCracken County Jail since. There has been some confusion over the spelling of his last name, with the courts, police, and his social feeds having different spellings alternating between “Childers” and “Childres.” The Kentucky Court of Justice has the name spelled “Childres.”

According to his now-delated Facebook, Childres claims to have studied child development at The University of Arizona Global Campus, an online college which has come under accreditation concerns in recent years. A separate Facebook account also belonging to Childres has his gender listed as “female.”

After speaking with a clerk at the McCracken County Court of Justice, Reduxx has confirmed that Childres has privately retained a prominent transgender lawyer to defend him during upcoming hearings.

Madison Leach, a male who began identifying as a “woman” six years ago, was the first openly transgender candidate to seek public office in western Kentucky when he ran as a Democrat for the Calloway County attorney seat. Leach recently decided to leave Kentucky over Senate Bill 150, which would make it optional for public school teachers to use a student’s preferred pronouns.

“This is kind of the cherry on top for me. The quality of life in New York is going to be better for me, and I think that a lot of parents of trans youth or other trans people are debating this in their head,” Leach said in March, stating that he was intending to eventually move his practice to New York.

Childres is scheduled for a pretrial conference this week, at which point he and Leach will enter a plea or negotiate a potential resolution with the prosecutors.

France: Armed with two knives, a man threatens to stab a passer-by for refusing him a cigarette and then injures three police officers in Limoges; the suspect makes a statement “with reference to the Quran and infidel dogs”

He should not have refused to give him a cigarette. On Saturday, December 2, at around 10.50 pm, a motorist was stopped by a 25-year-old man who asked him for cigarettes. The pedestrian became angry at the driver’s refusal and threatened him not only verbally but also physically.

He suddenly pulled out two kitchen knives, placed them on the car and explained that he had not taken them to “look good”, but that he would use them. After being reported to the Limoges city police in the area around Place Jourdan, the man was confronted and arrested by the police. In the meantime, he had got rid of the knives by throwing them over the low wall of a residential building.

The municipal officers found two knives with blades 20 and 30 centimetres long in the courtyard of the residential home. Together with the National Police, the municipal officers arrested the attacker, who became increasingly aggressive.

During his transport to the police station, the man spoke “disturbing and radical remarks referring to the Quran and infidel dogs and threatening to plant a bomb at the police station or use a grenade”, according to the police.

(…) Once at the station, he refused to undergo an alcohol test, shouted that a Muslim does not drink alcohol and became increasingly violent. He kicked the police officer who was searching him in the forehead and then bit him on the right bicep. The officer was injured in the arm and was placed on sick leave for seven days. A second police officer was injured when he brought the young man into the cell, who kicked him in the leg and was sent on sick leave for a day. (…) Ouest-France

Germany: After first billionaire meets with AfD party, left-wing interior minister calls for boycott on his dairy empire

One of the richest men in Germany is now openly meeting with the Alternative for Germany (AfD), and the move has led to calls for a boycott from left-wing Interior Minister Nancy Faeser and the country’s main establishment parties.

Theo Müller — who owns some of the most popular food brands in Germany, including Mülllermilch, Weihenstephan, and Landliebe — stated that he held talks with AfD co-chairwoman Alice Weidel several times. He is considered one of the first major business figures to openly make contact with the AfD, and Germany’s establishment parties, including the Christian Democrats (CDU) and Free Democrats (FDP), are backing calls for a boycott.

Müller is estimated to be worth over €4 billion, and his meeting could pave the way for other business leaders to openly back the AfD.

It is now “up to business to take a clear stance here,” said Faeser after Müller defended the AfD, saying the party does not have an extremist platform and has nothing to do with National Socialism, an ideology that Müller rejects.

Faeser claims that the “climate of division and resentment that the AfD is fomenting” is deterring skilled migrants from coming to Germany. She said businesses must distance themselves from the AfD or right-wing ideology and parties will enjoy a “creeping normalization.” She also said there is a responsibility “especially from (companies) who employ tens of thousands of people, many of whom have a migration background.”

Faeser’s call for a boycott was backed by SPD leader Saskia Esken as well as the CDU, FDP, Greens, and CSU. CDU’s General Secretary Martin Huber said: “It must be clear to every entrepreneur and every employee: The AfD is damaging Germany.”

FDP General Secretary Bijan Djir-Sarai said that companies must now “clearly identify the dangers posed by the AfD.”

However, Germany’s establishment parties may have a strong incentive to go on the offensive against Müller and make an example of him, as many of the AfD’s policies, including ending sanctions on Russia to regain access to cheap energy, halting the green energy revolution, and reducing the bureaucratic and tax burdens on businesses, may be appealing to many of Germany’s industrial leaders.

As Remix News reported just yesterday, bankruptcies are soaring in Germany, and the country’s business class has accused the ruling government of moving to “deindustrialize” the German economy with its policies.

Müller said that he only met with Weidel to discuss the party’s program and has not made any donations to the party. Nevertheless, Lorenz Beckhardt, who serves as an editor for the state-run broadcaster WDR, wrote: “Never again Müllermilch, Landliebe, Weihenstephan.”

The AfD has responded, with the economic policy spokesman for the Bundestag parliamentary group, Leif-Erik Holm, stating, “Now that more and more entrepreneurs are supporting the AfD, like the Müllermilch boss recently, the traffic light seems to be slowly going down the drain. It is increasingly reminiscent of the SED times. Companies don’t want to be forced to make any political statements, but rather can finally work in peace! The German economy really has other things to worry about than doing pirouettes for the traffic light.”

Only a FOOL Would Believe Tory Immigration LIES Ever Again. Sunak Doesn’t Care About Immigration

For all the attempts to portray former Home Secretary Suella Braverman as an extremist, someone beyond the pale and completely unsuited to her former role, the Government this week essentially proved she was right all along. Their policy announcements on legal and illegal immigration are exactly what Suella Braverman had been calling for for months, if not years. Our Senior Fellow Rafe Heydel-Mankoo appeared on TalkTV to discuss this, along with the Junior Doctors strike and much else.

German fairy tale forest to be felled for wind turbines

A large area of Reinhardswald, an ancient German forest featured in the fairy tales of the Brothers Grimm, is being partially cut down in favour of 241-metre tall wind turbines.

Following a months-long construction freeze, administrative courts have allowed heavy machinery to raze parts of the forest, including some trees that are more than 200 years old.

Around 120,000 trees in the 200km² mountainous woodland in the Weser Uplands in the district of Kassel, Hesse, are said to have been condemned to the axe.

The destruction comes at the request of the Green Party, citing the need for more “green” energy as a reason. Mayors in the vicinity are opposing the move.

The Socialist mayor of Wesertal Cornelius Turrey told Bild he was concerned about fire hazards, contamination of drinking water and noise pollution for citizens in relation to the felling of the trees.

As the forest is national property and not that of the surrounding municipalities, Green politician Priska Hinz, the environment minister for Hesse, is in charge of the project.

“Wind energy makes a decisive contribution to the energy transition and to the conservation of nature. This is the only way to preserve forests and important ecosystems,” she told Bild.

Hermann-Josef Rapp, a renowned conservationist and recipient of the Order of Merit of the Federal Republic of Germany, described the woodland as: “The treasury of European forests. An ensemble of a class by itself.”

Rapp also supports an initiative to save the forest called Rettet den Reinhardswald.

“You can’t sacrifice that [forest] to the gluttony of greedy wind-energy competition,” he stated.

The relative silence of climate activists regarding the destruction of the woodland in Hesse comes in stark contrast to their response over the felling of a 3km stretch of the Dannenröder forest in 2019 to make room for a highway.

Then, thousands of environmentalists vehemently opposed the plans, occupying trees and going to the courts in their bid to stop the project. They erected barricades and treehouses and violent clashes with the police ensued. Law enforcement operations at the time were said to have cost up to €36 million.

Similarly, there were strong protests against the felling of a 230-metre area of trees in the Fechenheimer forest.

The 2.7-hectare forest, which is surrounded by highways and industrial areas and already 98 per cent destroyed according to the environment ministry, was described by activists at the time as “the most species-rich forest in Frankfurt and the surrounding area”.

When wind turbines are involved, climate activists seem to bite their lips. The fact that 29 hectares of an ancient forest will be destroyed to build 14km of roads for 18 huge wind-power constructions, each with a blade diameter of 150 metres, does not seem to be an issue.

With the construction of the windmills now in full swing, protected animals such as the hazel mouse are now officially under threat there. They are not the only animals fleeing the Reinhardswald devastation.

Eurasian lynxes, of which there were only about 130 recorded in 2018, are also said to be on the run and many rare, protected birds and bats are also in danger.

The apparent acceptance of habitat destruction in the name of wind power seems to be inspired by Berlin, which wants a transition to low-carbon energy after it ended the use of nuclear power.

In this regard, economy and climate action minister Robert Habeck of the Green Party enacted legislation proclaiming overriding public interest supported the installation of more wind turbines.

One of the most famous Grimm stories set in the Reinhardswald is Sleeping Beauty, in the Sababurg hill castle. Many stories in the Grimms’ Fairy Tales collection also took place in the famed forest.
