‘Get tough on immigration or risk the radicals taking charge,’ warns Merkel’s former health minister Spahn

Germany is facing an unprecedented influx of illegal immigration from predominantly Islamic nations that hate Western culture, and mainstream parties must solve the problem before voters trust more radical groups to take control, a former German minister has warned.

Jens Spahn, who served as CDU health minister in Angela Merkel’s fourth cabinet from 2018 to 2021, warned in no uncertain terms of the consequences of mass immigration from areas that refuse to respect Western liberal ideals.

“We currently have a thousand migrants entering Germany irregularly every day. A thousand every day,” he said in an interview with Bild deputy editor-in-chief Paul Ronzheimer.

“Many people are not aware of the magnitude of the task involved when hundreds of thousands, indeed millions, of people come to us from such a cultural area,” he added, criticizing what he described as a distorted portrayal of reality by the mainstream media.

“One percent of the world’s Afghan population now lives in Germany,” Spahn continued, claiming Afghanistan is partly in the Middle Ages “and that leaves its mark” on Germany.

It is “the Islamic cultural area” in which “hatred of Jews, agitation against gays, the lack of equal rights for men and women are too often part of everyday culture,” he explained.

There are “not very many Muslim-majority countries” where people of other faiths have an easy life, women have equal rights “or gays and lesbians somehow enjoy minority protection,” he added.

Despite numerous conservatives and more radical parties, including the Alternative for Germany (AfD) sounding the alarm on illegal immigration for years, the CDU has remained less vocal on the consequences of such a policy that it, itself, pushed under former Chancellor Angela Merkel.

Now, with the AfD surging in the polls, the CDU is seeking to wrestle back control of the narrative and push for a hardline government approach.

“On all topics, whether it’s migration or dealing with Islam, all I ever hear is why everything can’t be done,” Spahn said indignantly. “We can tell people for another 10 years why we can’t do everything. But at some point, we’ll be in such a mess that others might solve it quite radically.”

The CDU/CSU only has one more opportunity to get to grips with the problems if it participates in government in the future. “This is our last shot, so to speak,” warned Spahn emphatically, otherwise “we will be over too, because if we also lose credibility on these issues, then perhaps only the radicals will remain.”

Despite the tough talk, Spahn again reaffirmed the CDU’s refusal to work with the AfD in any potential coalition federal government.

If Global Warmists Are Going to Panic about Something…

It’s cold, but climate czar John Kerry doesn’t give a fart.  Or maybe he does, since he seems to have interrupted his talk on carbon releases with an audible emission of his own.  The audience pretended not to hear, but climate alarmists are used to pretense.  They pretend the world will end in 2031 from warming and that temperatures are rising so fast that human beings will be fried.

There’s no evidence that either of those two things is happening.  But there’s lots of evidence that temperatures are getting colder.  As John Casey explains in his book Dark Winter: How the Sun Is Causing a 30-Year Cold Spell, there’s evidence that temps will get a lot colder.  The sun “is going into a deep hibernation for the next thirty years,” says Casey, but that evidence is not reported in the mainstream media, which is still manufacturing stories to support the global warming thesis: the idea not just that temperatures are getting somewhat warmer from their extreme lows of the Little Ice Age that ended around 1850, but that that warming is a catastrophe instead of a blessing.

It was a cold Thanksgiving where I live in the southeastern U.S.  A near record cold, in fact, just as it was in many places in the eastern U.S., but you wouldn’t know that from watching the news.  Media are quick to report record highs but hesitant to report record lows.  Even A.I. may have been programmed to support the global warming thesis.  When I asked A.I. for “U.S. record lows for November 23, 2023,” I was told: “I could not find any information about record lows for November 23, 2023.”  When I checked on record highs for the same date, I was told that “over 175 million Americans experienced above-average temperatures” in early November, 2023.

Now, ten days later, it is very cold.  Again, the Bing A.I. assistant tells me: “I searched the web… but couldn’t find any specific information” about record lows for Dec. 5, though I was directed to a site that reports all-time record highs and lows for the 50 states.  With a bit of searching, I determined that none of the record highs in the 50 states occurred after 1995, but two all-time record lows occurred in the 2000s: one for Maine in 2007 and Oklahoma for 2009.  No record highs during the last 29 years, yet we’re going to be baked like a mackerel?

It should be easy to search for something as simple as “record low temperatures” for Dec. 5, 2023, but it is not.  Just to make it easy for A.I., I asked for “record low US temperatures for November, 2023.”  Once again, I got the “sorry but I couldn’t find any information” (though I did learn from Axios that 70 million Americans were subject to record lows in early November).  “Record lows” have been scratched from the web, and when I search for “climate is cooling,” I get responses like “best cooling system for your home.”  No, I don’t need a new HVAC system.

I did access a 2019 piece from Science Times arguing that the climate is actually cooling and that “global temperatures will continue to decline for another two decades or more.”  The question posed by Science Times is, just how much colder will it get, and what will be the effect of those cold temperatures?

In previous cold periods, including the fairly recent Dalton Minimum from 1790 to 1830 and the Maunder Minimum of the early 17th century, the cold lowered agricultural production and brought about hunger and suffering.  How will it be this time?  If global temperatures fall, it is inevitable that food prices will rise.  That may not cause starvation in developed countries, but it will in poor nations.  Climate alarmists are just making things worse by blocking those who would plan for colder temperatures.

The fact is that the Earth seems to have entered another period of solar minimums that will cause temperatures to fall.  The gains made in food production over the past 30 years, some due to warming temperatures and opening up of previously frozen land in the northern temperate zone, may be reversed.  If temperatures fall dramatically, there could be a bidding war for food, and for those at the bottom, it will mean starvation.

Those of us who care about all human life, as conservatives do, should do what we can to prepare for that future.  Progressives under Biden and Obama have done nothing except to blow hot air while they raised the U.S. federal debt to over $34 trillion, so much that with interest on the debt, there will be little to respond to a food crisis.  That is why Speaker Mike Johnson and other House conservatives are trying to cut the rate of spending.  Even in an affluent country like the USA, we could see bread lines and soup kitchens feeding millions.

How cold does it have to get before the left takes global cooling seriously?  There has been severe cold already this fall, despite the web-master’s efforts to censor the facts.  And the upper atmosphere is already some 14 degrees below what is considered normal.

For what it’s worth, the highest temperature ever recorded near where I live was 103 degrees, on September 8, 1921, long before carbon pollution is supposed to have warmed the Earth, according to climate alarmists.  Likewise, for New York City, the highest temperature ever recorded was 106 on July 9, 1936.  St. Louis recorded its record high on July 14, 1954.  The highest ever for Dallas was 115 on August 18, 1909.  For Los Angeles, 110 on Sept. 26, 1963.

None of these records, nor thousands of others, resulted from “global warming.”  Likewise, recent record cold temperatures, which the mainstream media and government-aligned media refuse to report, are proof that the science is not “settled” with regard to global warming.  Media need to report the truth, not ever more bizarre theories about how the recent cold results from global warming.  The last few years have been cold, and it’s getting colder.  Tell the truth, and let people prepare for the cold ahead.

Pregnant Woman Targeted for Being ‘Jewish and Rich’ in Paris Gunpoint Robbery by ‘African Type’ Youths

Two “African type” teenagers have been arrested after a pregnant woman was assaulted and robbed at gunpoint in her home in Paris for being “Jewish and therefore rich”.

Last month, two 16-year-olds were accused of having broken into the home of a 26-year-old Jewish woman in Paris to allegedly “commit extortion with a weapon”. The two suspects were arrested this week in the Val-d’Oise suburb area outside the French capital.

According to police sources speaking to the Le Figaro newspaper, the two suspects were both born in France, however, one is described as being “of the African type” while the other is characterised as being “of the North African type”. The pair were also described as previously being “unfavourably known to the police services.”

The paper reported that on November 23rd, two men came to the door of the pregnant woman disguised as delivery men wearing coronavirus-style masks. After she answered the door, they forced their way into her apartment, grabbing her by the throat and threatening her with a handgun.

While she immediately gave over some of her jewellery and money, the two masked men were not satisfied and strangled her until she lost consciousness. The two thieves are said to have walked away with 6,000 euros of jewellery, 400 euros and 150 dollars in cash.

The woman, who was four months pregnant at the time of the attack, was forced to spend several days in the hospital but has since been released.

According to Le Figaro, the two teenage suspects have confessed to the robbery but claimed that they acted upon another man, whom they have so far refused to name to the police. They claimed that they were told to target the woman “because she is Jewish and therefore rich”.

They were arrested after police discovered that they had used an Uber equivalent to travel to the home, meaning that their names were logged with the service.

The two sixteen-year-olds appeared before the Pontoise judicial court on December 7, however, it is currently unclear what punishment they face. Due to the French legal system’s protections for minors, their identities cannot be revealed to the public.

The attack comes amid a surge of antisemitism in France following the October 7th Hamas terror attacks on Israel, with thousands of antisemitic crimes being recorded since then, including Jewish areas of Paris being vandalised with Stars of David graffiti in incidents reminiscent of the Nazi era of the 1940s.

AUSTRALIA: Councilor Facing Tribunal Inquiry and “Inciting Hatred” Charges for Stating “Trans Women are Men”

A Hobart City Council member is under investigation by the Anti-Discrimination Commissioner for “inciting hatred” after declaring “trans women are men.” Louise Elliot is now facing a costly formal inquiry by the Tasmanian Civil and Administrative Tribunal in a case which has the potential to restrict freedom of speech. If the tribunal rules against Elliot, she may be ordered to publicly apologize and pay a fine of up to $4,000.

In March, Elliot attended a Let Women Speak demonstration organized by Standing for Women and led by British women’s rights campaigner Kellie Jay-Keen. The event was intended to provide women with a platform to express their concerns or criticisms of gender ideology.

As part of a prepared speech she gave during the event, Elliot stated that it was impossible to change sex, that “trans women are trans women and remain biological men.”

During her speech, Elliot also highlighted how gender ideology poses safeguarding risks, noting how such policies impact women and girls.

“While the majority of men are decent, kind and caring people, men present an inherent danger to women. The vast majority of sex offenders and violence perpetrators are men. It is completely understandable that women would want spaces for females only, especially vulnerable spaces like changerooms, toilets, and showers. It is absolute insanity that we have a law that allows a man to at 10am declare he’s a woman and by 11am be sharing changerooms and showers with young girls.”

On May 5, Elliot received a letter from the Tasmanian Anti-Discrimination Commissioner (ADC) informing her that they had received a complaint about her statements and had opened an investigation into her activities for “inciting hatred” under the Tasmanian Anti-Discrimination Act.

The complainant, who cannot be named during the ongoing investigation, also took issue with a statement made by Elliot in the context of male violence and the defense of women-only spaces, wherein she stated, “You cannot be raped with a penis if there is no penis present.”

In November, Tasmanian ADC Sarah Bolt ruled that Elliot’s case would proceed to a tribunal inquiry. In response, Elliot has been vocal about her situation on X (formerly Twitter), and has promised to appeal her case to the High Court should she be found guilty of inciting hatred.

“If it is found that I have incited hatred with these accurate, factual, accurate, and true statements, then I won’t be standing for that. And I know that the majority of Australians don’t believe the truth can be hate. So we will absolutely be taking it all the way to the High Court, because this is a massive overreach on our implied right to freedom of belief, freedom of expression, political communication, and we need to defend that,” Elliot told Ben Fordham Live.

Elliot also noted that the legal attack against her is being funded by taxpayers. “The threshold for inciting hatred needs to be really high. It can’t be just because someone is offended. What really gets me is that it’s our taxpayer money that is funding this attack on freedom of speech.”

However, Elliot is expected to pay her legal fees out of her own pocket, and is crowdfunding to cover costs. In the event of a ruling against her and an appeal to the High Court, Elliot has said she estimates the process to cost $100,000.

In addition to the litigation, Elliot says she’s also been experiencing harassment from her colleagues for criticizing gender identity ideology. In a video she shared to X in October, Elliot described how she had been singled out for her views.

“Over the past several months, I’ve been copping some pretty heavy bullying by some of the Hobart City Councllors, and collectively as a council. You hear the Hobart City Council talking a lot about inclusion, diversity, and being welcoming and kind… But inclusion is welcomed if you agree with their thinking. If you don’t agree, then you are heavily excluded and targeted and bullied,” she said.

Elliot went on to explain that she does not believe that humans can change sex, and that women and girls are entitled to single-sex spaces and sports.

During one meeting, the Deputy Lord Mayor Councilor Helen Burnet put forward a motion that the council write to three different organizations to complain about Elliot. The councilors wrote to the Integrity Commission, the Anti-Discrimination Commission, and local government officials to request action be taken against Elliot over a series of posts she made on X.

“We had a training session from a local organization, and I questioned some of the details that were in their fact sheet. Some of the details I found quite concerning, for example, statements that, ‘Trans women are not dominating women’s sport.’ I disagreed with that and tweeted some pictures of trans women playing in women’s soccer, and it’s happening globally,” Elliot said.

“In the fact sheet we had, they also tried to say that because black women are women, trans women are women. And I found that really quite a disturbing statement, quite racist and far from the truth.”

The fact sheet presented during the diversity training session, run in September by Working It Out Tasmania, also argued that trans-identified males do not pose a risk in female-only spaces.

“There is very little evidence of women’s spaces being secretly infiltrated by people with criminal motives, eg, sexual assault. Nearly every story that has emerged in the media or research regarding this has been disproven or discredited,” the document stated.

Elliot further revealed that she had been sent a letter by Deputy Lord Mayor Councillor Helen Burnet chastising her for her views.

“You have consistently spoken out against transgender people and have on the public record refuted that transgender women are women,” the letter read. At Burnet’s request the city council asked the Anti-Discrimination Commissioner to consider that Elliot had, in their view, breached the Anti-Discrimination Act of 1998, which was amended in 2019 to include the subjective category of gender identity, but does not presently provide legal protections on the basis of biological sex.

Elliot has said she has received a flood of supportive messages from constituents. In September, a small demonstration was held outside of Hobart City Council Town Hall, wherein protesters called on the Deputy Mayor to “call off the witch hunt” against Elliot.

Pakistan is deporting illegal Afghan migrants en masse and Germany is taking them in

The first flight of 188 Afghan migrants expelled from Pakistan for living in the country illegally has arrived in Leipzig as the German federal government vows to accept vulnerable Afghans who don’t wish to return to their Taliban-governed homeland.

According to Zeit Online, the charter flight that touched down in Germany this week from Islamabad was the first of its kind since the Pakistani government announced in October that it was adopting a mass deportation program for an estimated 1.7 million Afghan illegal migrants from the country citing national security.

The move was announced after new data revealed a majority of suicide bombings in Pakistan this year were carried out by Afghan nationals.

“There are no two opinions that we are attacked from within Afghanistan and Afghan nationals are involved in attacks on us. We have evidence,” Pakistan’s Interior Minister Sarfraz Bugti said in October.

Germany, however, seems intent on offering safe passage to Europe for a number of those at risk of deportation.

Under its federal admission program, Berlin identified 44,000 Afghans who face possible persecution by the Taliban, as well as their eligible family members, who they want to bring to Germany.

At the end of November, around 11,500 Afghans were still waiting for admission to Germany, including 3,000 currently living in Pakistan.

Zeit Online reported last month the German embassy was preparing to receive the cohort currently residing in Pakistan but faced a race against time to get them out before Islamabad pushes ahead with deportation.

The federal government revealed it had enacted “protective measures” including “sending a list of people staying in Pakistan and to be admitted to Germany to the Pakistani Foreign Ministry”.

Left-wing MPs in the Bundestag, such as Clara Bünger, have urged the federal government to speed up its admission process for new arrivals even if this compromises national security.

“Extended security checks can, if necessary, also be carried out after entry into Germany,” she told the government last month.

Switzerland: An Algerian asylum seeker, who arrived in Switzerland three days ago and was already known under several identities in other European countries, breaks into a school and shouts “Allah Akbar” in a threatening manner

A large-scale police operation took place at Les Corneilles primary school in Cortaillod in the canton of Neuchâtel to arrest a threatening man. He had broken into the school and is said to have shouted “Allahu Akbar”.

The 300 pupils were taken to safety in their classrooms until the police arrived and the person was arrested. No one was injured and everyone was able to leave the school building at around 4pm.

Apart from his threatening remarks, the man was obviously unbalanced. So far, police have not been able to determine if he was armed. At the time of the intrusion, an alarm was triggered (amok procedure, which is designed to alert the emergency services in the event of an attack or threat to the general public) – this is the first time that this has happened in the canton – so that the police were able to intervene quickly. “The teachers reacted in an exemplary manner,” said Georges-André Lozouet, spokesperson for the Neuchâtel cantonal police, in an interview with RTS. Samuel Paty beheading: Six teenagers convicted in the killing of French teacher over ‘blasphemy’ against Prophet Muhammad

On Friday, a French court found six teenagers guilty in connection with the ‘blasphemy’ killing of teacher Samuel Paty in 2020, a gruesome murder that sent shockwaves throughout the nation and the globe and prompted a reckoning of the looming threat of creeping Islamic extremism.

The educator had presented caricatures of the Prophet Mohammad to his students during a lesson on freedom of expression, sparking discontent among certain Muslim parents. The discontent translated into online backlash, with the teacher targeted by Islamic fundamentalists who issued threats against him for what they considered an ‘unpardonable sin’ against Islam and the Prophet Muhammad as many Muslims refrain from portraying prophets, viewing such depictions as blasphemous.

One of the convicts was a teenage girl who the court found had cooked up a story that led to her teacher being decapitated by a teenage Jihadi terrorist. Five others were convicted for identifying Mr Paty to the attacker, who went on to stab the French teacher in the name of ‘blasphemy’.

Like many school truants, the 13-year-old girl was determined not to let her father know that she had been suspended from school for missing classes. As a result, she weaved a story featuring her teacher Samuel Paty. The girl told her father that Mr Paty had asked Muslim students to leave the classroom while he showed the cartoons from the satirical newspaper Charlier Hebdo during a lesson on free speech and blasphemy.

Soon after the girl narrated the fictitious tale, her father took to social media to launch a campaign, identifying Mr Paty and the school in Conflans-Sainte-Honorine. He also called Mr Paty a “thug” and demanded he be sacked. The claims made by the girl’s father triggered global outrage and led to death threats against Mr Paty. 10 days later, the teacher was dead—decapitated by an Islamist terrorist.

It was later reported that the girl’s father was in touch with Paty’s killer, Abdoullakh Anzorov. The prosecutor even claimed that there was a “direct causal link” between the online campaign and Mr Paty’s brutal murder. The murderer had reportedly also a sent text message to the girl’s father before he beheaded Mr Paty with a kitchen knife.

The other five defendants were guilty of staking out Mr Paty and identifying him to the killer, Abdoullakh Anzorov, though the court said they were not aware of his intentions to kill Mr Paty.

All sentences from 14 months to two years have been suspended or commuted.

Samuel Paty beheading and the menace of ‘blasphemy’ killings

Samuel Paty was beheaded in October 2020 by an Islamic terrorist in the French capital Paris for allegedly showing caricatures of the Prophet of Islam to his students. A Muslim youth stabbed a 47-year-old teacher in his throat while shouting “Allahu Akbar”. The attacks occurred in the suburb of Conflans-Saint-Honorine, northwest of Paris on Friday. Abdoullakh Anzorov, an 18-year-old Muslim youth, was a native of Chechnya, Russia. Shockingly, the attacker had also taken to social media to post images of the victim’s severed head, which was later removed by the authorities. 

Friday’s attack comes amidst the ongoing trial against the terrorists responsible for the January 2015 attack on Charlie Hebdo. In January 2015, Islamist terrorists had gunned down 12 people in and around the Charlie Hebdo offices for publishing caricatures of Prophet Muhammad.

Charlie Hebdo, a satirical newspaper, had published cartoons that depicted Muhammad, which is strictly prohibited in Islam. Offended by Charlie Hebdo’s actions, two Islamic terrorists attacked the office of Hebdo in 2015 and killed 12 people. The terrorists had stated that the attack was an act of revenge for depicting the Prophet Muhammad.

Denmark outlaws Quran burnings as critics claim government is kowtowing to Islamic extremists

The Danish parliament voted on Thursday to make the burning of holy scriptures in public places a criminal offense.

The bill which prohibits religious texts such as the Quran and the Bible from being treated in an “inappropriate manner” will come into effect within seven days.

The center-left coalition government led by Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen’s Social Democrats supported the bill which passed with the backing of 94 votes to 77 against.

“I understand that this is a matter of principle for many people. It has been a difficult balancing act,” said Minister of Justice Peter Hummelgaard following the vote.

He accepted the government had decided to act due to national security threats made against the country after public burnings of the Quran in recent times.

“When we weigh Denmark’s security against the right of a few individuals to repeatedly deliberately set fire to things that mean a lot to many others in order to provoke violent reactions, we choose Denmark’s security,” Hummelgaard added.

Denmark’s opposition claimed the move was a return to the country’s blasphemy law that was abolished back in 2017. Under the 334-year-old legislation, Danes could be imprisoned for up to four months for publicly insulting religion or burning holy books.

Inger Støjberg, leader of the right-wing Denmark Democrats, accused the government of kowtowing to extremists and curtailing free speech.

“Consider that the Swedes stand firm for the rights of freedom, while the Danish government largely bows to the violent men’s veto,” she said after the vote.

Today’s youth are the most radically left wing in British history. And, unlike previous generations, they are NOT becoming more conservative as they age. They hold illiberal views on free speech, embrace extreme pseudo-ideologies on race and gender, and have an entirely different set of values and beliefs to all earlier generations. Left unchecked, in 2 or 3 decades Britain’s adult workforce and leaders will be hard left radicals — the consequences of which are potentially dystopian. It is no coincidence that they have been taught by the most radically left-wing teaching profession in history. If we want to preserve the Britain we know and love, we must win the Battle for Young Minds. And we must radically reform the manner in which teachers are recruited and trained.
