Germany: Bearded Islamist transwoman rejoices for dead German soldiers

Photo: Twitter/BijanTavassoli

He walked around for a year with a full beard and headscarf and claimed to be a lesbian trans-Muslim from now on – Bijan Tavassoli (31) from the Hamburg Left Party loves provocation and thus not only fooled his woke fellow party members.
Despite his penis, he even made it into a women’s sauna!

In the meantime, the German-Iranian has declared his “investigative performance as a drag queen” to be over after much criticism, Tavassoli is allegedly a man again.

So that’s why he won’t be wearing a headscarf when he is due to appear at the appeal hearing at the Hamburg Regional Court on November 22. Accusation: Approval of criminal offences and disparagement.
Tavassoli is said to have made an inconceivable statement on Facebook in August 2021, the occasion being the withdrawal of US troops from Afghanistan:

Today was not a sad day, but a day of joy! He congratulated the Afghan people on their victory over the foreign occupiers, especially on each and every one of the 37 Bundeswehr soldiers who had been killed.

In a recent Youtube interview (“Das Gesellschaftsexperiment”), Tavassoli denied any guilt. He has not yet responded to a request for comment from the newspaper BILD.

He came to the first hearing at the Hamburg-Mitte district court dressed in his Gaga headscarf and made many demands. The verdict: a fine of 2250 euros, or 150 days in prison. Previously, he had only been threatened with 120 days in prison.

Tavassoli posted on Twitter afterwards:

“An exhausting day in court comes to an end, which I ended with a decent visit to the women’s sauna.”

And someone from his community of followers commented:

“Allahuakbar, the judge seems to be a direct successor to Freisler. Probably it’s because of the #Nazigens! She hates the thought of you being a #Transmuslima! It’s 2022 and not 1945! If this goes on, we’ll have to have #Sharia!”
What kind of performance will he deliver before the district court?

In any case, the Hamburg Left has passed judgement on Tavassoli: they want to expel him from the party for “his transphobic spectacle supported by right-wing groups”.

UK climate policy faces growing opposition

Britain’s Prime Minister Rishi Sunak gestures as he speaks during the Conservative Party annual conference at the Manchester Central convention complex in Manchester, England, Wednesday, Oct. 4, 2023, Screen grab youtube

Images of major cities flooded, like recent ones from New York City and earlier from Libya’s Derna, where a shocking humanitarian disaster occurred due to flooding, and even earlier footage from Istanbul and Slovenia, will undoubtedly serve as strong arguments for those calling for immediate action to combat climate change.

Against this backdrop, a recent statement by British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak, announcing a delay in ambitious climate goals, sounded like unexpected support for anti-climate heresies and a clear distancing from the green revolution pushed by the EU.

Observers noted that Sunak made his statement to journalists, not in parliament. Commentators speculated that it might simply be a populist move by the prime minister in the face of declining voter support. Regardless, Sunak’s statement resonates with a socially receptive audience.

More and more British citizens are beginning to rebel against the costly and restrictive decisions imposed in the name of climate policy. This dissatisfaction is no longer limited to ordinary citizens with limited knowledge or biases but is starting to reach elite representatives.

Famous American author, Lionel Shriver, who has lived in the U.K. for years, stated in an interview with Sky News that the way authorities are implementing climate restrictions resembles authoritarianism and devastates the U.K.’s culture of freedom.

Meanwhile, John Gray, a leading figure in English liberalism, argued that the current form of climate policy is becoming a kind of organized absurdity. Importantly, this criticism isn’t about outright denialism involving claims that climate change doesn’t exist or that human actions don’t significantly impact the environment.

The main issue is that the adopted measures are socially and politically unacceptable.

Furthermore, as Gray emphasizes, these measures are based on technocratic assumptions that through mandates and prohibitions, we can not only manage social and economic processes but even influence the direction of how the climate evolves.

However, the fact that human actions have triggered climate change should not lead us to the belief that we can simply stop them at a designated point.

Javier Milei Rising

The Argentine version of Donald Trump sends the Left into a meltdown.

PBS calls him the “upstart candidate with long sideburns and shaggy hair.”

In many respects, Javier Milei, 52, the leading candidate in Argentina’s 2024 presidential race, looks like he crawled out of the Beatles’ White Album. In fact, this man that many refer to as “The Wig” (he doesn’t comb his hair when he gets up in the morning)—is so different from ordinary politicians that one feels compelled to listen to what he has to say.

Milei is a libertarian with contradictory ideological views – although he has been labeled as an extreme far-right candidate (code for ‘undesirable’) by the American press, such as The New York Times and Reuters,

The threat that Milei poses does not sit well with Argentina’s left-of-center Peronist government, in control of the country for the last 16 years.

In his primary victory speech this August, Milei stated, “We’re going to end the useless, parasitic, criminal political caste that is sinking this country.”

Peronism, of course, is not only center-left but it’s also a hybrid mix of fascism, authoritarianism, socialism and capitalism, a political anomaly particular to Argentina, a country that in the early 20th Century rivaled the United States as the “go to” place to migrate to.

That’s anything but true today.

Argentina is currently battling a large recession and a massive dwindling of reserves of foreign currency. Reuters reports that “poverty hit 40.1% in the first half of 2023, or nearly 12 million people….That is up from just over 39% at the end of last year.”

Some say Milei is the Argentine version of Donald Trump (Melei admires Trump), while others—feminists—condemn his views on abortion.

If elected president in the general election on October 28, Milei says he would outlaw abortion – even in cases of rape or incest. He believes that life begins at conception, that a fetus is not part of a woman’s body – but a new life with separate DNA.

“I’m a liberal and liberalism is respect for another person’s life project,” he says.

“If you go against life, there’s no property or freedom [that can compensate]. Human life starts from conception. It’s a mathematical problem: life is a continuum with two discrete jumps, conception and death. During which week is abortion ok? At 14 weeks? 14 weeks minus one second? … A woman can make choices about her body, but what she has inside her womb isn’t her body — abortion violates the principle of non-aggression.”

On September 28, The Buenos Aires Herald published a piece critical of Milei’s anti-abortion stand, detailing how women—feminists– may be the deciding factor when it comes to Milei’s election as president:

“’You shall not pass. The green wave is going back to the streets.’ That’s the Argentine feminist movement’s message to libertarian economist Javier Milei,” the newspaper stated, adding,

“On Thursday afternoon, the Ni Una Menos feminist movement is leading a march down Avenida de Mayo to Congress, where they will hold their green handkerchiefs high to show that they will defend the right to legal, safe and free abortion, come what may.

…The libertarian, an outsider with his far-right La Libertad Avanza coalition, has said he considers abortion ‘homicide aggravated on the grounds of the relationship’ several times. He has even suggested a referendum to end legal abortion in Argentina if he’s elected.”

Since 2021, Milei has led the La Libertad Avanza party, serving as national deputy. The party is vehemently anti-socialist. Milei believes that socialism leads to communism, and when these two things inevitably merge, what you get is the end of freedom of speech.

Along with the end of free speech, you get the end of private property and a free market.

Milei is a critic of Pope Francis (who, like Melei, is not Argentine but Italian).

Melei has called Pope Francis the “incarnation of communism.”

In an interview with Tucker Carlson, Melei said that Pope Francis has always had considerable sympathy for communists, socialists and leftists. (The roots of the pope’s fondness for leftwing ideologies can be traced to the decades-long Jesuit evangelization of liberation theology in South America. it should be noted that Pope Francis has never visited Argentina since his election to the papacy in 2013.)

Bucking traditional conservative standards, Milei says he favors the legalization of drugs, while at the same time defending a person’s right to choose their own gender, although he maintains that neither he nor the government should ever pay for the latter.

Technically, he’s Catholic—he once stated on Twitter, “I’m a Catholic and, every day, I kneel in front of a Jew”—but yet he says he’s ready to convert to Judaism (he reads the Torah daily and is currently taking instructions from a Rabbi) although he worries that if he converts he won’t be able to work on the Sabbath.

The “shock-jock” is clearly evident in Melie when he freely offers details on his personal life, including his time as a tantric sex instructor and his admission that he’s engaged in threesomes.

He says he is against marriage “as an institution,” which should please the feminists of Buenos Aires, but sadly all the feminists can think about is… abortion.

He has stated that if elected he will abolish the Ministry of Women, which he says is discriminatory, since there is no Ministry of Men. He will also eliminate the ministries of Education, Health and Social Development—ministries that he says politicians steal from in order to become wealthy.

Milei believes that climate change is a lie, that Argentina’s Central Bank should be abolished, and that the peso should be abolished in favor of the US dollar.

His popularity ranks high among men, young voters and less affluent groups

Immediately after his stunning primary win—Milei still has to increase his share of the nation’s vote by 15% in the October 28 election to win the presidency—Argentina’s government devalued the local currency by 20 percent, a maneuver that PBS saw as a reaction to “voters having chosen an outsider candidate to express anger against the status quo.”

Rising poverty levels in Argentina have reached 40% of the population.

The situation is so dire that in the Plaza de Mayo square, an historic area in the center of Buenos Aires, hundreds of people come for the nightly soup kitchen to be fed.

The disastrous poverty rates can be traced to the failed policies of center-left Cristina Fernandez de Kirchner, a convicted felon, and president of Argentina from 2007 to 2015, the second female president of the country after Isabel Peron.

Kirchner, who is also the country’s current vice president, seems to model herself after Peron. After surviving an attempted assassination in September 2022, she went ‘theatrical’ and declared a national holiday.

Kirchner’s relationship with Jorge Bergoglio when he was Archbishop of Buenos Aires, was cold and distant. By the same token, Bergoglio kept his distance from Kirchner, who disapproved of the archbishop’s opposition to gay marriage.

A change occurred when Bergoglio became Pope Francis. This initiated a friendship culminating in the two having a private lunch in the Vatican.

Call him what you will–Shock-jock, The Wig, unstable upstart—but Javier Milei is what our ever expanding globalist-socialist world must might need now.

He may not be a perfect candidate, but anyone who says– as he stated in 2021– “I will ally with all those who believe that the left is the enemy,” may deserve a chance.

“Academic Agent”: Power Lies with Organised Minorities NOT Majorities, who are disorganised

*Come to our Immigration Conference on Sat 7 Oct in London. Tickets: https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/immigr… “The organised 100 will always defeat the disorganised 1,000”. “Just as fire drives out fire, so an elite is only ever driven out by another elite.” So says Dr. Neema Parvini (aka “Academic Agent”), author of “The Populist Delusion” and, most recently, “The Prophets of Doom”. A Senior Lecturer at the University of Surrey, Dr. Parvini is this week’s guest on Deprogrammed, hosted by Harrison Pitt & Evan Riggs. “The 2016 presidential campaign of Donald Trump unleashed a wave of populism not seen in America since the Nixon era, which carried him into the presidency. Seen widely as a vindication of the people over elites, his failure to bring about any meaningful change was then seen as an aberration, a departure from a natural state where the people are sovereign and their representatives govern by their consent. This is the populist delusion. In his book, Parvini sets out to prove that the interests of the people have only ever been advanced by a tightly organized minority. Order The Populist Delusion here: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Populist-Del… Order The Prophets of Doom here: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Prophets-Doo… The Prophets of Doom blurb: Linear and progressive views of history have dominated the popular imagination for the past seventy years in a worldview wedded to the inexorable rise of globalisation and GDP-growth at any cost. However, the end of the Cold War failed to produce the end of history as hoped, a fact brought home to many by Russia’s invasion of Ukraine in 2022. Material wealth and ‘Progress’ in the name of ‘social justice’ have not made people happier or more united but quite the opposite. Anxiety, depression, fearfulness, sadness, loneliness and anger have all massively increased since 1970 with the male suicide rate at an all-time high. Western society seems to be divided against itself across every line conceivable: left versus right, women versus men, ‘non-whites’ versus ‘whites’, globalists versus populists, ‘the elites’ versus ‘the people’, people who think that men can be women and vice versa versus those who insist that they cannot, and so on. Seventy-three percent of Americans believe their country is on ‘the wrong track’, with similar views reflected in Britain and across Europe. The Prophets of Doom explores eleven thinkers who not only dared to contradict the dominant linear and progressive view of history, but also predicted many of the political and social maladies through which we are living.

Pope Francis goes off the deep end again on global warming

By Monica Showalter

There he goes again.

According to NBC News:

Pope Francis made his strongest statements yet about climate change Wednesday, rebuking fossil fuel companies and urging countries to make an immediate transition to renewable energy.

In a new document titled “Laudate Deum,” or “Praise God,” the pope criticizes oil and gas companies for greenwashing new fossil fuel projects and calls for more ambitious efforts in the West to tackle the climate crisis. In the landmark apostolic exhortation, a form of papal writing, Francis says that “avoiding an increase of a tenth of a degree in the global temperature would already suffice to alleviate some suffering for many people.”

It’s supposedly a follow-up from an earlier document on global warming released a decade ago titled Laudato Si. This one, though, is quite a bit more nonsensical.

In “Laudate Deum,” Francis says that “the necessary transition towards clean energy sources such as wind and solar energy, and the abandonment of fossil fuels, is not progressing at the necessary speed.”

The pope does not shy away from the responsibility of oil and gas companies, saying new fossil fuel exploration only further contributes to the climate crisis. “[W]hatever is being done risks being seen only as a ploy to distract attention,” he writes.

Which, as one wag noted on Twitter, looks like the kind of statement an NGO might make, not the leader of a huge Church focused on eternal truths. Cut off the reference to Christ at the top and the minor statement refering to Christ at the bottom and all that’s there is NGO-talk about the evils of Big Oil and the importance of killing off this vital industry in order to “go green.” It’s the kind of tired and dreary statement a Soros-backed organization might make and always makes.

That’s well out of the pope’s wheel well, given that most people don’t go looking to him for advice on fossil fuel consumption, which is a topic he knows nothing about. Even King Charles of the U.K., whom we also know is a greenie from his days as a prince, knows enough to stay out of this kind of territory now that he’s king. He gets it. Too bad this pope does not.

It’s also infuriating. Global warming is a fraud. There’s nothing true about its phony claims, which are constantly being exposed as junk science. What’s more, his advocacy of wind and solar is … a little specific, and worse still, ignores that these are highly inefficient sources of energy which rely on fossil fuels as well as government subsidies to stay afloat because they aren’t sustainable on their own. Worse still, these particular methods of energy are magnets for fraud, waste, and corruption, constant fodder for scandals in the news, all because they don’t do what they say they can do.

Why is the pope promoting this scandal-plagued grift? And why is he demonizing fossil fuels which are the root source of modern societies. Given that he is constantly asserting the right of illegals from primitive societies to migrate in the West whether the West can absorb them or not, what does he think illegals are coming to the states for? Green energy? They have lots of green energy in their home countries — with the usual results. What they’d really like is to be able to flip on a light switch and have a light come on, which is only attainable through a reliable supply of fossil fuels with minimal government involvement.

It’s amazing what he takes for granted as he singles out the West for criticism and tells it to lower its standards of living. One group he doesn’t criticize is China, which contributes more pollution from fossil fuels and coal than anyone. That he says nothing is yet another problem with his statement.

The pope released his statement on the Feast Day of St. Francis, patron saint of the environment and all its earthly creatures. He could have put out something very nice, very readable, and capable of passing the test of time, by focusing on caring for the environment and not wasting its resources. Nobody is going to disagree with that, and many would be interested in whatever challenge he might put forth with focus on that.

Instead he micromanages which kinds of fuel is to be prescribed, scolds the West, and commands inventors to invent impossible economies with fuel, which is basically asking for magic instead of following science.

He’s deep into Galileo territory on this one, and all he will end up doing is create a document that people will laugh about in a hundred years’ time. He shouldn’t be pronouncing at all on global warming, which no one knows for sure about, and intelligent people know is fake, Eventually, this errant idea will be accepted as fake, so he’s going to look silly. What’s more, there is no heavenly mandate about what kind of energy people can or will or should use. It’s as if pope were to command the faithful to use buggy whips instead of cudgels on their horse transportation, when in reality, technology surpassed the whole horse scheme and horses are no longer used for transportation at all. That’s how progress goes. No pope was ever dumb enough to go there from the last century, wading into temporal modes of living and stirring controversies about them instead of focusing on the eternal.

This is sad stuff, the pope and his embarrassing hobbyhorse which has nothing to do with faith or morals. He’s just Greta Thunberg in a dress on this, a man with an ill-informed opinion who lives in a bubble and has no business commenting from the seat of St. Peter on things he knows nothing about.

“Unreal”: Elon Musk Speaks Up About Assassination Attempt Against AfD Head Tino Chrupalla

AfD heads Tino Chrupalla and Alice Weidel are in hospital and in hiding, Augsburg candidate Andreas Jurca was attacked in August

AfD Co-Chair Tino Chrupalla is in intensive care after an attack on him with a syringe in the Bavarian town of Ingolstadt, as Gateway Pundit reported. While the leftist German media attempted to ignore the attack, Elon Musk chimed in and was seen by 280,000 users.

Alternative for Germany (AfD) party chair Tino Chrupalla was attacked with an unidentified object before a rally in Ingolstadt while taking selfies with two young men he later pointed out to police as the culprits, who were photographed grinning as trhey were detained by police. Antifa terrorists are rarely or never arrested or tired in Germany, since they are protected by the leftist government.

French journalist under investigation for ‘racist’ question linking bed bug infestation in Paris to immigration

A French journalist is under investigation by the country’s broadcasting watchdog for asking his pest control expert guest whether there may be a link between a recent invasion of bedbugs affecting Paris and mass immigration.

Pascal Praud, a 59-year-old presenter on the right-leaning CNews channel, was condemned by media commentators and the left-center French government for asking whether there could be a correlation between the outbreak and an influx of migrants who “do not have the same hygiene conditions” as French residents.

“Do we know why there are more bedbugs today? Is it related to hygiene? I will ask all the questions. There is a lot of immigration at the moment,” Praud said during his interview with Nicolas Roux de Bezieux, an expert on pest control.

“Is it people who do not have the same hygienic conditions as those on French soil who bring them, because they are on the street, because they do not have access to all services like the others? Is this related to this?” he asked.

The suggestion was dismissed by his guest, who told viewers that bed bugs “affect absolutely everyone,” but the line of questioning has since been denounced by certain media outlets and French government ministers.

“I will never accept hate speech in the media,” said French Discrimination Minister Bérangère Couillard, who described Praud’s remarks as “shocking.”

Although there is no evidence that immigrants themselves drive the proliferation of bed bugs due to hygiene habits, it is well established that international travel, including tourism, is a major factor in the spread of the pests. Major cities, such as New York, Paris, and Los Angeles often feature outbreaks at hotels. In addition, migrants increase overcrowding in cities and tend to be placed in cramped living spaces due to a housing shortage affecting the entire Western world. Bed bug outbreaks have often been reported in asylum centers in various European countries.

France is both the most visited country in Europe and features one of the highest levels of immigration, both factors that could be driving the increase in bed bugs. The data shows that France has the largest immigrant population in continental Europe, and also has the largest Muslim population as well.

Nevertheless, the left went on the attack over the comments, with Aurélien Saintoul, an MP for the left-wing populist La France Insoumise party, stating: “These comments are blatantly racist, adding that “the so-called prudence of Praud does not hide the memory of [the 19th-century French right-wing activist Charles] Maurras who affirmed ‘the terrible vermin of the Jews of the East, brings lice, the plague, typhus,’”

A number of left-wing parties across France urged Arcom, the broadcasting watchdog, to review Praud’s conduct.

The presenter, who confirmed he is now under investigation by the French broadcasting regulator, vehemently denied accusations that he is racist and claimed he feels he is being vilified for asking a question.

“Must journalists justify the questions they ask?” Praud asked, adding that his refusal of “uniformity of thought” had led to a media and political pile-on.

The bed bugs crisis has made national headlines as authorities scramble to contain the health situation affecting Paris and other major French cities.

French Health Minister Aurélien Rousseau has urged the public to remain calm and dismissed the notion that France has been “invaded by bed bugs.”

French citizens have taken to social media to show the insects have been regularly spotted in cinemas and on public transport across the French capital, leading Paris Deputy Mayor Emmanuel Grégoire to call on the government to take action ahead of next year’s Summer Olympics due to take place in the city.

The Left’s plan for Europe: an islamized Brazil

The Left hopes for cross-breeding, a mix of race and culture. But there is no crossbreeding, there is ethnic-religious conquest.

by Giulio Meotti

The EU’s top diplomat, Josep Borrell, said that “immigration could put an end to the European Union”, only to later add that due to demographic suicide Europe needs more immigration. Borrell said: “The demographic evolution of Europe shows that we need new blood and it does not appear that this blood comes from our ability to procreate.”

12.000 “new blood” persona just landed in Lampedusa, Italy.

Personally I have nothing in common – which does not mean that I have anything against – with Moroccans, with Tunisians, with Algerians, with Nigerians (perhaps only a bit with the latter half-Christians). Nor with the Libyans or the Malians. I have a lot to share, however, with the Irish, the Welsh, the Latvians, distant but still closer than the Senegalese, and I have a lot in common with the Jews… and with those who have the same roots of my culture and identity.

When the Soviet Union collapsed, progressivism coined the expression “happy globalization”. It was the future unsurpassed hegemony of globalized free trade. Now the left sponsors the “happy creolization” (their term). In the words of the philosopher Alain Finkielkraut, “crossbreeding is the means for the lyrical illusion invested in communism to be perpetuated after communism, it is the new version of the metaphysical desire for the end of history”.

Something similar lies in the arguments against Israel: demands for ending the Law of Return, for a binational state…

The use of biological language by Borrell’s left is interesting (“new blood”). For the Socialist Party in power in Spain, immigration is an “important opportunity for cross-breeding”.

The European Union has plans for how to “rejuvenate” the continent’s rural areas through immigration from the Third World. And if the UN speaks of “replacement migration”, UNESCO advocates the mixing of cultures to put an end to racism.

It is an ideology, writes the French CNRS scholar, Philippe d’Iribarne: “The unconditional welcome of immigrants has become a religion with the prophets of the camp of Good who preach the beautiful ‘openness to the Other’ in the face of ugliness, ‘withdrawal into oneself’. The Other becomes a sacred figure that contrasts with the diabolical figure of those who reject those who do not resemble them”.

The historian of ideas Pierre-André Taguieff, once a point of reference for the anti-racist left and today a conservative thinker, wrote of this “mixophilic dogmatism”. According to Taguieff, it is “a new political religion” seen as “an ethnocide” associated with the “immigrationist and Islamophile discourse” and the “project of erasure and of origins and identities”.

The leader of the French left, Jean-Luc Mélenchon, predicts “creolization”: “By 2050, 50 percent of the population will be of mixed race.” And on TV a few days ago he openly said: “I am for creolization and mass regularization of illegal immigrants.” Mélenchon had already stated, a few years ago, that “he could not survive when there were only blond people with blue eyes”. We would need psychology to explain this rather fascinating ethnomasochism.

Race? Blood? Crossings? In Marseille, where the Pope has just gone to praise immigration, half the population is North African or black African. There is no crossbreeding, there is ethnic-religious conquest.

The crossbreeding is also praised by financial newspapers such as the Financial Times: “Europe must prepare for demographic replenishment by Arabs and Asians.” Tony Barber, renowned FT columnist, speaks of “new blood” brought to Europe by migrants.

Where are they taking Europe? To the Pew Forum’s “high migration” scenario. 20 to 30 percent of Islamic Europe. They hope for “creolization”, but it will be conquest instead.

Swedish artist Jason Diakité, stage name “Timbuktu,” may not be a fine thinker, but he got the point across when he posted a message to “all black and brown people in Sweden,” telling them that “demography is from our share. We are 25 percent in the country with roots outside Europe. We are here.”

The more European societies decompose, the more their destroyers sing of the hybrid, mixed, recomposed world with a sort of artificial joy. The more reality disavows political correctness, the more politically correct becomes radicalized. But if it is true that there are limits to the denial of reality and progressivism cannot win, it can make us all lose.

And Europe will be, without taking too long, a “welcoming kasbah”.

Cardinal Joseph Zen: ‘The Church in Germany Is Dying’

Bishop Joseph Zen prayed with Catholics before the protest against Hong Kong Basic Law Article 23 legislation. Wikimedia Commons, Alfredoko,

The formidable Cardinal Joseph Zen asks in a recent letter to his brother bishops why the Catholic Church would embark on a path of “synodality” when it has delivered such terrible results in Germany.

“I address this letter to you, members of the Synod on Synodality, supposing that you are as worried as I am about the outcome of this Synod,” the former bishop of Hong Kong stated in his September 21 letter, which has just been rendered public.

It is worrisome that while the Vatican Synod was being convoked, “there was already under way in Germany the so-called ‘synodal path,’” the cardinal declared, which proposes “a revolutionary change in the constitution of the Church and in the moral teaching about sexuality.”

“An alarming symptom is the ongoing numerical decrease of Catholic faithful in Germany,” Zen wrote. “According to official data, the decrease has been of more than half a million in 2022. The Church in Germany is dying.”

The cardinal also notes that in Germany, the bulk of the central committee of the synodal path is not necessarily representative of German Catholics since “most of the group are Church employees,” and this phenomenon could just as easily repeat itself in the Vatican synod.

You should “face your Synod work with deep worry,” Zen stated, adding that the Synod Secretariat “is very efficient at the art of manipulation.”

“Often they claim not to have any agenda. This is truly an offense to our intelligence,” the cardinal writes. “Anybody can see which conclusions they are aiming at.”

The synod secretariat insists that those who have felt “excluded” — meaning “people who opt for a sexual morality different from that of Catholic tradition” — deserve particular attention and should be listened to.

“The Synod must conclude with a universal inclusion, must enlarge the tent, all welcome, without judging them, without inviting them to conversion,” they say.

“They speak of ‘conversation in the Spirit’ as if it were a magical formula,” Zen observed. “And they invite all to expect ‘surprises’ from the Spirit (evidently they are already informed which surprises to expect).”

The synod organizers have also tried to eliminate debate and discussion, to be replaced by mere “conversation,” the cardinal observed, but “to avoid discussions is to avoid the truth.”

Moreover, he stated, “To accept an unreasonable procedure is to condemn the Synod to failure.”

In his critique of the synod and its process, Cardinal Zen joins a number of his fellow prelates who have also expressed their misgivings about the event.

Cardinal Raymond Burke, for instance, the former head of the Vatican’s highest court, has warned that a move toward “synodality” is causing “evident and grave harm” to the Church.

“Synodality and its adjective, synodal, have become slogans behind which a revolution is at work to change radically the Church’s self-understanding, in accord with a contemporary ideology which denies much of what the Church has always taught and practiced,” Burke has written.

The late Cardinal George Pell, also voiced his doubts, calling the upcoming synod on synodality a “toxic nightmare” and insisting that it is “hostile” to the Church’s apostolic tradition.

The Catholic Synod of Bishops has produced “one of the most incoherent documents ever sent out from Rome,” Pell wrote in reference to the synod’s working document, and what was intended to express “God’s dream” of synodality “has developed into a toxic nightmare.”

The synodal document focuses primarily on radical inclusion, listening, participation, and co-responsibility with believers and nonbelievers while ignoring central themes of Christian teaching and practice, Pell wrote.

For his part, Cardinal Gerhard Müller, the former prefect of the Vatican’s doctrinal office, has called the synodal path a “hostile takeover of the Church of Jesus Christ.”

“If they succeed, it will be the end of the Catholic Church,” he said of those promoting the synodal process. “And we must resist it like the old heretics of the Arianism.”
