‘Gas the Jews’ doesn’t qualify as hate speech?

By Eric Utter

Muslims and anti-Semites around the world have gathered in recent days to celebrate the mass slaughter of Jews in Israel by Hamas terrorists.  Several cities in Europe, including London and Berlin, have been the sight of these unspeakably appalling — yet joyous — gatherings.  Various cities in North America, such as Montreal and New York, have also been witness to such madness and depravity.  BLM has thrown its support behind the Palestinian cause, as have, unsurprisingly, many campus groups across America.

In Australia, thousands of “Australians” gathered outside the Sydney Opera House to lose themselves in such zesty chants as “f— the Jews!” and “gas the Jews!”  One person was arrested…for “breaching the peace” of the wannabe Jew-gassers by having the audacity to possess an Israeli flag.  Good on the local constabulary for dealing with him!

But might not “f— the Jews” be considered hate speech in this day and age?  I mean, nearly all locales across the former penal colony have laws regulating hate speech as regards race and religion.  If “gas the Jews” doesn’t qualify, what would?  “Misgender the Jews”?

Crazed Hamas terrorists killed more than 250 mostly Israeli youths who were attending what many dubbed a “musical festival for peace.”  They slaughtered or took hostage — or both — women, children, and the elderly.  They reportedly beheaded dozens of babies.  Thousands of Israelis were killed or injured, more than in any one day since the concentration camps of the 1940s were in existence.  It is a new Holocaust.

Any individual or group “celebrating” this genocide-in-progress is beyond repulsive, beyond redemption.

Speaking of the difference between Western nations and terrorists, Benjamin Netanyahu once observed, “Here’s the difference between us.  We’re using missile defense to protect our civilians, and they’re using their civilians to protect their missiles.”

In fact, Hamas has located its military headquarters under a hospital.

And there’s no cure for that kind of sickness.

They will shoot you, you will die: Turkish minister threatens Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu following Israel’s retaliation to Hamas terror attack

As Israel launched a massive retaliatory action against Hamas in the Gaza Strip after the Hamas terror attack on Israel on Saturday, several Muslim nations have expressed their support for Hamas. A minister in Turkey has gone ahead in this aspect, who warned Israeli PM Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu that Hamas will kill him.

Nazif Yilmaz who is the Deputy Minister of National Education of Turkey threatened Israel Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu with death on X (Twitter). Referring to the Hamas terrorists, he wrote, “One day they will shoot you too. You will die.” Nazif Yilmaz posted this in reaction to a post uploaded by Netanyahu which portrayed Israel’s military retaliation to the recent gruesome attack on the Jewish nation. Netanyahu posted a video showing Israeli forces bombing Hamas sites in Gaza, with the caption ‘continue with all the strength’.

The Turkish minister however later deleted the tweet.

Notably, the Eurasian country is a major part of the powerful North Atlantic Treaty Organisation (NATO) alliance headed by the United States. The comment received backlash from social media users who reminded the politician of the horrifying terror attack perpetrated by Hamas terrorists.

A netizen asked him what response he expected after the assailants massacred kids and added that Hamas “knowingly sacrificed their own when they committed acts of terror.”

Another asked the minister about his opinion on the atrocities inflicted by the Hamas terrorists on the morning of 7 October.

A user told him to go to the Israel border and not make empty threats on the platform.

An individual remarked, “Take a look at the deputy minister of national education of the republic. Notice his tone. The war between the two countries does not concern the ministry of national education nor it was provoked by the social media account. You don’t care what we think in private. Do not confuse your ministry. Be accountable.”

A netizen posted an image featuring multiple soft toys for children with ’40 babies murdered’ scrawled in bold letters on top.

Armed Hamas terrorists stormed Israel during the attack on 7 October where they ransacked homes, rampaged through farms along with neighbourhoods and took up hundreds of hostages back to Gaza in addition to slaughtering at least 1,200 people and injuring thousands more including women, children and elderly. Since Israel began airstrikes on the Palestinian enclave at least 1,000 people have died in Gaza and many more are injured.

It is important to note that Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan is known for his proximity with the Islamist elements as well as providing monetary support to religious seminars in India to radicalise Muslims and taking them on a full-expense covered trip to his country for further indoctrination.

He has repeatedly supported Pakistan on the Kashmir issue and never condemned the terrorism carried out by the southsian country. Turkey has been found guilty of funding anti-India activities along with Pakistan including the anti-CAA protests and radical preacher Zakir Naik.

BBC reported to Ofcom over ‘disgraceful’ Israel war coverage as they refuse to call Hamas terrorists

Wikimedia Commons , Stacey Harris / BBC Television Centre, Wood Lane, London W12 / CC BY-SA 2.0

Ofcom has received a letter complaining about the BBC’s refusal to call Hamas “terrorists” following the group’s horrific attack on Israel.

Lord Wolfson KC, Lord Pannick KC, Lord Grabiner KC and Jeremy Brier KC penned the letter to the regulator and accused the broadcaster of failing to show impartiality “beyond doubt”.

Lord Polak, who serves as honorary president of the Conservative Friends of Israel group, was also a signatory.

The five lawyers urged Ofcom to investigate the BBC’s coverage after Hamas attacks resulted in slaughter, rape and abduction.

The letter said: “On October 7, 2023, Hamas launched a large invasion of the State of Israel which resulted variously in the slaughter, rape and abduction of over a thousand Israeli citizens.

“There is nothing controversial about that. It is a fact.

“The BBC has fallen well below its standards expressed in its Editorial Values in its reporting of that invasion and the consequences therefrom.”

The letter, addressed to Ofcom chairman Lord Grade, argued the BBC has not “shown impartiality in terms of the nomenclature it uses to refer to Hamas as ‘militants'”.

It also highlighted how Hamas was proscribed as a terrorist organisation and the BBC previously labelled Al Qaeda and the IRA as such groups.

The intervention comes after footage obtained by GB News showed a man in Golders Green labelled the BBC’s coverage a “disgrace”.

Hamas was among 78 groups proscribed as a terrorist organisation in 2019 under then-Home Secretary Priti Patel.

The decision makes it a criminal offence, punishable with up to 14 years in prison, to belong to or invite support for Hamas.

Pro-Palestinian protesters descended on cities across the United Kingdom after Saturday’s attack, including outside the Israeli Embassy in West London.

However, the BBC has defended its coverage of Hamas’ unprecedented onslaught against Israel.

BBC director of editorial policy David Jordan said not using the word terrorist was a “very long-standing policy” which had “stood the test of time”.

He added: “We’ve called them massacres, we’ve called [them] murders, we’ve called them out for what things are and that doesn’t in any way devalue the awfulness of what is going on.”

A BBC spokesperson also said: “We always take our use of language very seriously.

“Anyone watching or listening to our coverage will hear the word ‘terrorist’ used many times – we attribute it to those who are using it, for example, the UK Government.

“This is an approach that has been used for decades, and is in line with that of other broadcasters.

“The BBC is an editorially independent broadcaster whose job is to explain precisely what is happening ‘on the ground’ so our audiences can make their own judgement.”

Politicians, members of the Royal Family and senior figures within the UK’s Jewish community have also criticised the broadcaster.

Chief Rabbi Ephraim Mirvis accused broadcasters of trying to “wilfully mislead” by not using the word terrorist, adding: “The murder of babies where they sleep is not the act of a ‘freedom fighter’.”

Defence Secretary Grant Shapps urged the broadcaster to “get the moral compass out” and Labour leader Sir Keir Starmer encouraged the BBC to “explain” its reasoning.

Culture Secretary Lucy Frazer has also raised the issue with BBC director-general Tim Davie and made clear her view that these were “acts of terror carried out by a terrorist organisation”.

Former BBC journalist Jon Sopel argued the broadcaster’s coverage showed the BBC’s editorial guidelines were “no longer fit for purpose”.

But veteran BBC correspondent John Simpson defended the coverage.

He said: “British politicians know perfectly well why the BBC avoids the word ‘terrorist’, and over the years plenty of them have privately agreed with it.

“Calling someone a terrorist means you’re taking sides and ceasing to treat the situation with due impartiality.

“The BBC’s job is to place the facts before its audience and let them decide what they think, honestly and without ranting.

“That’s why, in Britain and throughout the world, nearly half a billion people watch, listen to and read us.

“There’s always someone who would like us to rant. Sorry, it’s not what we do.”

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu responded to Hamas’ surprise attack by vowing to “crush and destroy” the terror group, adding every member of the organisation was a “dead man”.

Hamas, who allegedly barbarically beheaded babies, confirmed on Monday it would executive Israeli civilian captives if Netanyahu continued bombing Palestinian territory without pre-warning.

GB News has approached the BBC for further comment.

Belgian Bishop Claims Euthanasia Is ‘Not Necessarily’ Morally Wrong

Screen grab youtube

Catholic Bishop Johan Bonny of Antwerp, Belgium, has sparked controversy by suggesting that euthanasia is not necessarily morally wrong in all circumstances.

In a recent interview, the progressive Bishop Bonny took aim at the Vatican, asserting that Church leaders are mistaken in teaching that euthanasia is “always an intrinsic evil, whatever the circumstances.”

“This is too simple an answer that leaves no room for discernment,” the bishop said, elaborating, “We will always oppose the wish of some to end a life too prematurely, but we must recognize that a request for euthanasia from a young man of 40 is not equivalent to that of a person of 90 who faces an incurable illness.”

“We must learn to better define concepts and better distinguish situations,” Bonny added.

The bishop said philosophy has taught him “never to be satisfied with generic black and white answers.”

“All questions deserve answers adapted to a situation: a moral judgment must always be pronounced according to the concrete situation, the culture, the circumstances, the context,” he said.

“What do you say to someone who has been affected by an incurable illness for years and who has decided to request euthanasia after talking to their family, their doctor, their loved ones?” Bonny asked.

“We must always refer to the Bible, but nothing is more difficult than interpreting it and applying it to a particular situation without falling into fundamentalism,” he contended. “God relies on our intelligence to fully understand his word.”

The Catechism of the Catholic Church refers to euthanasia as “murder” and “gravely contrary to the dignity of the human person and the respect due to the living God, his Creator,” insisting that no good intentions or extenuating circumstances can justify it.

Saint Pope John Paul II said euthanasia is often accepted out of “misguided pity” but is also “sometimes justified by the utilitarian motive of avoiding costs which bring no return and which weigh heavily on society.”

“In reality, what might seem logical and humane, when looked at more closely is seen to be senseless and inhumane,” John Paul wrote.

“I confirm that euthanasia is a grave violation of the law of God, since it is the deliberate and morally unacceptable killing of a human person,” he declared.

SCOTLAND: Trans-Identified Male BDSM Fetishist On Women’s Shortlist For Governing Party Committee

A trans-identified male has been selected to be on an all-women shortlist for a position with the Scottish National Party’s National Executive Committee (NEC) Lothian, drawing criticism from women’s rights campaigners. Amber Roberts, who is still legally a male, has also been revealed to have posted fetish photos of himself to his public social media account.

On September 15, women’s rights organization For Women Scotland (FWS) published a letter that they had sent to the Chair of the SNP’s National Executive Committee and Humza Yousaf, the leader of the SNP. In it, FWS states that “Roberts is male and is not eligible for a place on an all-women shortlist.”

FWS points out that all-women shortlists within the political system are “designed to redress the historical under-representation of women in Parliament and other elected positions,” and that they are protected under the Equality Act of 2010.

The campaigners note that “including Roberts on an all-women shortlist is unlawful” as he has not even been granted a Gender Recognition Certificate (GRC) and is still legally male. In the United Kingdom, a GRC has historically been required in order to alter identification documents.

For Women Scotland also referred to a statement from the Equality and Human Rights Commission that “a trans woman who does not hold a GRC and is therefore legally male would be treated as male.”

Last December, the Gender Recognition Reform (GRR) bill was passed by Members of Scottish Parliament (MSPs) in a vote of 86 to 39, removing the need for a medical diagnosis of “gender dysphoria” in order to obtain a gender recognition certificate (GRC).

In response to FWS’ letter condemning his placement by the SNP on an all-women’s shortlist, trans activist outlet Pink News spoke with Roberts last week, who insisted it was “clear as day” that he was, in fact, female.

“I am female. It’s legally recognized – it’s just not on my birth certificate yet,” Roberts argued, while complaining to Pink News that FWS had “misgendered” him by using masculine pronouns.

Roberts insisted that there was no “nefarious” reason why he did not yet have a GRC, and revealed that he had already applied, and been rejected for, the document on three previous occasions. According to Roberts, the gender recognition panel stated there was a lack of evidence to grant his request.

As evidence of the assertion that he is female, Roberts said that he was able to have other identifying documents altered with relative ease.

“It’s purely bureaucratic. I’ve shown them a marriage certificate, my medical records, my driver’s license and my passport. All four of them say I’m female,” Roberts said.

“It is as clear as day that I am female,” he added.

However, this did not deter speculation as to the rationale behind his inability to secure a GRC, with one popular blogger, Wings Over Scotland, noting that only 1.8% of such applications are denied.

One concerned woman discovered an Instagram account belonging to Roberts which has since been unpublished after she shared disturbing images that had been posted there.

On the account’s profile, Roberts describes himself as a “masochist” and a “rubber doll.” He had also uploaded photos of himself in fetish gear typically associated with the BDSM community.

The images prompted the woman to ask, “What due diligence is the SNP doing on its prospective candidates? Without fail, there’s always a debauched back story… This Amber Rowan is a deviant man whom the SNP has on an all-women list. But we’re bigots because we resist,” she noted.

Some critics cast suspicions on Roberts’ vocal support for schools to be authorized to withhold information about children from their parents regarding their “gender identity,” as well as his support for the “transitioning” of children.

Last November on X, formerly Twitter, Roberts wrote: “Children should be able to tell certain things to their teachers without the fear of it getting back to their parents.”

He has also defended the “social” transitioning of young children, stating: “Social transition should be allowed for anyone under the age of 16 as it requires no medicalisation and allows children to explore their identity.”

In another post, he argued that children as young as 10 should be encouraged to “transition.”

This July, he maintained his stance on schools withholding information from parents, writing: “It is crucial for trans children to feel safe and supported in schools, without fearing being outed to their parents. We need to prioritize their well-being and protect them from potential harm. #ProtectTransKids.”

On his Facebook profile, where he is publicly campaigning for the role of Equalities Convener within the SNP, Roberts stated that he would like to “work closely with our Branch Equalities Officers, ensure that they are all kept up to date,” and “produce more Equality training modules for each branch.”

Roberts additionally expresses a desire to work with lawmakers to develop a “zero tolerance” policy for “hate speech.”

“I would like to work with the NEC Members and come up with a plan to introduce a Zero Tolerance policy on Hate Speech, which includes but is not limited to Racism, Homophobia and Transphobia,” he wrote.

The SNP, which is Scotland’s governing party, has had extensive controversies surrounding gender ideology over the past year, resulting in massive criticism from women’s rights groups.

As previously reported by Reduxx, the London Branch of the SNP hired a radical trans activist as an Equalities Officer in 2022.

Cameron Downing, then 23, had been quietly elected to serve in the position while working as Media and Communications Officer for the party’s official LGBTQ group — Out for Independence.

But soon after being elected to the role, disturbing posts emerged of Downing calling for physical violence against “TERFs,” an acronym which stands for “trans exclusionary radical feminist.” TERF is considered by many to be a derogatory term, and has often been used to justify violence against women who oppose gender ideology.

In one post uncovered by concerned Scottish women’s rights advocates, Downing stated he was “in the mood to beat the fuck out of some TERFs and transphobes.” In another, he proclaimed he “fucking hate[d]” women who advocate for single-sex spaces.

As the screenshots of the two posts picked up attention, Downing rapidly locked down his social media accounts, preventing them from being searched further.

Even some representatives within the SNP have found themselves mistreated by the party after speaking out against gender self-identification laws.

SNP Member of Parliament Joanna Cherry has been a vocal proponent of women’s sex-based rights and has expressed disapproval of many elements of gender ideology. Cherry has said that as a result of her beliefs, she was “cancelled” by her party, and that she has experienced harassment and abuse campaigns on social media for condemning self-identification laws.

Germany: Anti-immigration, anti-sanctions AfD party hits new polling high after stellar results in regional elections

twitter

The Alternative for Germany (AfD) continues its march in the polls, this time scoring a record high after pivotal state elections in Bavaria and Hesse, with the prestigious Insa survey commissioned by Bild newspaper now showing the party at 22.5 percent.

The state elections have sent the ruling radical left government into a panic, with all three parties crashing in both states and the Free Democrats (FDP) even failing to enter parliament at all in Bavaria. The aftershock of the elections is still reverberating throughout Germany.

According to the poll, AfD is the second-largest party in Germany, behind the Christian Democrats (CDU/CSU). It is the highest result for the AfD ever measured by Insa, although other polling firms have put AfD at 23 percent.

The AfD is known for its staunch opposition to mass immigration, rejection of “green” policies, and its desire to halt sanctions on Russia, which it argues is harming Germany more than it is harming Russia.

Chancellor Olaf Scholz, of the Social Democrats (SPD), has commented on the AfD’s rise during a visit of French President Emmanuel Macron, saying it is now about “defending democracy.”

He says that immigration is needed to prevent Germany’s economy from shrinking, even as the government estimates migrants will cost taxpayers €36 billion this year alone. Polling from earlier this month shows that the vast majority of Germans believe fewer migrants should be accepted and that they offer more disadvantages than advantages. A poll just released yesterday shows that a majority of Germans want early elections and for the current government to be removed from power, with the majority citing the country’s growing immigration crisis as their top issue.

Scholz acknowledges there are too many asylum seekers coming to Germany, but so far his government has moved forward with plans to speed the naturalization of hundreds of thousands of illegal immigrants from the migration wave of 2016. Critics have accused the government of rushing to make these new citizens to ensure they have a substantial number of new voters for their pro-immigration parties in time for the next national election.

During pro-Israel rally in Berlin: Syrian migrants kick passers-by!

Screen grab youtube

500 terror supporters besieged Vienna’s Stephansplatz on Wednesday. Unbelievable scenes also took place in Berlin: Syrians kicked a German at a peaceful pro-Israel demonstration. Earlier, the migrants had already attacked a 72-year-old woman.

At the end of the peaceful demonstration, the situation in Berlin escalated completely. A horde of anti-Semitic terror fans gathered around the pro-Israel demonstrators. They attacked the participants with Palestine flags and chants. This resulted in physical assaults.

“At first, about 70 to 100 people appeared in small groups and started chanting,” explained police spokeswoman Jana Ulbricht. “Afterwards, about 40 of them joined together in a larger grouping, chanting more slogans.”

The police were able to push the mob back in the direction of Stadthallenpark and arrest them there, writes the newspaper Bild. Especially violent: Three young men snatched a small Israeli flag from a 72-year-old woman and fled with their loot. In the process, they knocked over a 55-year-old man. When the German was lying on the ground, the trio kicked the completely uninvolved man. The attackers were caught shortly afterwards: They were two Syrians (17, 20) and a 15-year-old suspect of still unknown nationality, according to police. They still had the stolen flag with them. They are now being investigated for theft and dangerous bodily harm.

Germany: Again a Muslim attacks train passengers with a knife

Wikimedia Commons, User:Jorges, CC-BY-SA-3.0-migrated

Fear caused by a knife in the afternoon on the Eurocity express train from Copenhagen to Hamburg. A man in a carriage threatens passengers with a knife – major red alert for the police!

Federal police spokesman Hanspeter Schwartz: “An unscheduled stop was ordered at Neumünster station and various police cars from the state and federal police were sent to the station.”
Shortly before, passengers had alerted the officers at 3.20 pm, who responded immediately. When the train pulled into the station in Neumünster ten minutes later, the police officers were already waiting at the track. They searched all compartments and were finally able to drag the knifeman off the train. The 28-year-old Syrian was arrested.

The man had been hiding in the toilet. The federal police officers seized a knife from him. No one was physically injured, but a shocked child had to be cared for by chaplains and was taken to hospital. The train crew was also replaced. After all witnesses had been questioned, the Eurocity could proceed with its journey. The background of the crime is still unclear.

The incident is reminiscent of the horrific act of violence committed by Ibrahim A. (33), a man armed with a knife, who killed a 19-year-old and a 17-year-old on a train from Kiel to Hamburg and injured other passengers at the end of January.

German Nazism’s Successor: Islamic Nazism

“In every generation they arise to annihilate us.”

That statement appears in the Haggadah, the book read from at the Passover Seder. The book is about 1,000 years old; the statement is more than 2,000 years old.

A generation or two ago, it was the Nazis who arose to annihilate the Jews.

In this generation, the Islamic Republic of Iran, Hamas, Hezbollah, and other Islamic movements have risen to annihilate the Jews.

The widespread overuse of the term “Nazi” — like the overuse of the terms “fascist,” “racist,” “existential threat,” “genocide,” “misinformation,” “threat to our democracy,” among others — has rendered “Nazi” little more than a word to dismiss people who oppose the Left.

“Nazi” should never be used to described non-Nazis. Nazi evil was sui generis. There has never been as organized, as industrialized, an attempt to murder every member of a religious/ethnic group — “every member” meaning babies, women, and the elderly as well as adult males — as the Nazi attempt to murder every Jew in Europe. Within a mere four years, they nearly succeeded: The Nazis murdered two out every three Jews in Europe.

But the term “Nazi” is applicable to one ideology today. There is an ideological successor to the Nazis. Just as the primary aim of Nazism was to kill every Jew in Europe, the primary aim of tens of millions of radical Muslims is to kill the seven million Jews in Israel and eradicate the one Jewish state.

The Muslim leaders of the Islamic Republic of Iran regularly announce that the annihilation of Israel is their paramount aim. They would rather murder the Jews of Israel and eradicate Israel than feed their people. In fact, they have stated that the death of tens of millions of their fellow Iranians is a price worth paying if it means annihilating Israel.

That is why the purpose of Hamas’s attack was to slaughter as many Jews as possible. No army base was attacked — because the attack had no military aim. Hamas Einsatzgruppen (the name of the Nazi mobile killing units) attacked a music festival, where they murdered at least 270 young people and maimed an untold number of others. Their other targets were homes, so as to kill entire families — because their aim was not military victory but the murder of Jews. Babies and grandmothers are not military targets.

Many Jews not initially killed by Hamas were taken as hostages, including toddlers and grandparents. “Social media,” the Times of Israel reported, “were filled with horrifying videos of men, women and children being carried into the (Gaza) Strip, many of them appearing to have been abused.”

The celebrations in Gaza and elsewhere in the Muslim world were over Jews having been murdered and displayed. You can see the ecstatic joy of throngs of Palestinians in Gaza as Hamas terrorists display Jewish bodies in the back of pickup trucks driving through the streets of Gaza.

From the Times of Israel:

“The video of the woman stripped down to her underwear appears to be of Shani Louk, a German citizen who was identified by her mother, and who had been attending the music festival which was staged close to Kibbutz Re’im. Hamas operatives are seen celebrating and cheering in the pickup truck in which they had placed Louk’s body, which was contorted in an unnatural angle, while Palestinians surrounding the truck shouted, ‘Allahu Akbar’ (‘God is the greatest’). Two of the men spit on her.”

From the Daily Mail:

“A woman was seen being kidnapped with her children as horrified onlookers screamed: ‘She has a baby.’ The mother was later identified as Shiri who was taken with her husband, Yarden, sons Ariel, three, and nine-month-old Kfir, as well as her elderly parents Yossi and Margit. They were believed to have been snatched from Shiri’s home … on the border with Gaza.

“Disturbing footage shows a boy of ten being dragged towards an opening in the border’s fence by terrorists.

“Erez Kalderon, who was snatched from his home in Nir Oz in the south of Israel by Hamas, looks terrified as he is led through the streets by the heavily armed men. His father Ofer and sister Sahar, 16, were also abducted.

“Ditza Heiman, 84, was kidnapped from her home in Kibbutz Nir Oz, close to the border, and taken into Gaza… Another grandmother, 85-year-old Yaffa Adar, was bundled into a golf buggy at gunpoint by a group of terrorists.”

The result was that on Oct. 7, 2023, more Jews were murdered than on any one day since the Holocaust. Percentagewise, it was as if 40,000 Americans had been murdered. And these Israelis were murdered for the same reason Jews were murdered during the Holocaust — because they were Jews.

Radical Islam’s useful idiots on the Left deny this fact. They say that Muslims who seek to annihilate Israel are not motivated by antisemitism but by anti-Zionism, as if there is any real-world difference between the two, and as if seeking to eradicate one nation in the world — the only one that happens to be Jewish — is in no way anti-Jewish.

It should therefore be noted, to cite but one example of non-Israeli Jews being murdered by Islamists, that in 1994, Hezbollah, the Iran-backed terrorist organization in Lebanon, bombed the Jewish Community Center in Buenos Aires, Argentina, killing 85 people and injuring more than 300. They weren’t Israelis; they were Argentinian Jews.

It should also be noted that Hamas’s charter makes no distinction between Zionists, Israelis, and Jews:

“The Day of Judgment will not come about until Moslems fight Jews and kill them. Then, the Jews will hide behind rocks and trees, and the rocks and trees will cry out: ‘O Moslem, there is a Jew hiding behind me, come and kill him.’”

For white leftists, self-interest should lead to support for Israel

By Andrea Widburg

As the moral equivocators weep tears about Israel’s reprisal against Gaza, I keep thinking of Pastor Martin Niemöller’s realization that, when you are dealing with totalitarians, their first target is never their only target. Nor can I stop remembering the old Jewish man who left the concentration camp and said, “When people promise to kill you, believe them.” For anyone paying attention, the socialists in America, who are happily making common cause with Hamas, have been using some of the same eliminationist rhetoric that the Muslims use against the Jews in Israel.

Niemöller initially supported the Nazis. He thought Hitler would be good for Germany, and he disliked Jews. He believed it when Hitler said he wouldn’t persecute the Church and Jews would be subject only to limited persecution. By 1938, though, he realized that Hitler had no brakes and found himself interned in Sachsenhausen and Dachau through war’s end. In this context, Niemöller made his famous “First they came…” statement, not as a poem, but as a confession.

That confession was eventually turned into the free-verse poem we recognize:

First they came for the socialists, and I did not speak out—

Because I was not a socialist.

Then they came for the trade unionists, and I did not speak out—

Because I was not a trade unionist.

Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out—

Because I was not a Jew.

Then they came for me—and there was no one left to speak for me.

What does that poem have to do with moral equivalence in America? I’m glad you asked.

I think we all agree that you cannot move with reason squishy people who think there is equivalence between Hamas soldiers, trained, funded, and equipped by Iran, who target civilians for slaughter, and an Israeli military response against Hamas headquarters that are deliberately hidden behind civilians. For these squishes, Hamas beheading a baby for fun is the same as Israel warning people to clear a Hamas building before bombing it.

Image: Internet meme; creator unknown.

Ironically, I’m willing to bet that over 90% of these squishes support abortion. Some baby killing is a good thing. And why is it a good thing? Because it benefits them. At an individual level, it means sex without consequences and a blow to the patriarchal idea of motherhood. At a societal level, it means keeping women wedded to the workforce while lowering the population to save the insensate earth.

In other words, rather than having absolute morals, they have self-interest. So, here’s some self-interest to offer them that might help them rationalize coming down on Islamic terrorism with unabated fury: You’re next.

Why are you next? Because Islam and the socialists have come together to decry “colonialism.” Colonialists are evil, having deprived non-white peoples of their indigenous lands. Never mind that, in the case of Israel, Jews are the indigenous people. Moreover, given the influx of Jews from across the Middle East and Africa, Israelis are a brown people. My Facebook feed shows me that many people slaughtered were “melanated” rather than pale Caucasian.

For Muslims, Jews are the colonizers. For the left in the West, whites are the colonizers. It doesn’t matter that you start your meetings by guiltily acknowledging that your university or government office was built on stolen indigenous land. What matters is that, for leftists, it’s not your land; it’s their land, and they’re entitled to take it back by any means necessary. That is why they express solidarity with the Palestinians:

Najma Sharif, a freelance journalist for InStyle and Teen Vogue, both hard-left publications, was perfectly blunt in her approving assessment of what “de-colonizing” means. In a since-deleted, subliterate tweet, she wrote:

what did y’all think decolonization meant? vibes? papers? essays? losers. “not like this” then like what. show us LOL.

Karen Attiah, a Washington Post columnist, liked the tweet:

At a guess, I’d say Najma is Muslim, while Attiah, who identifies as Ghanaian and Nigerian, may be Muslim. What matters is that both are using the language of modern anti-colonialist socialism.

Those shared values mean that these people don’t just approve of the “anti-colonialist” violence in Israel; they approve of it coming here. In this video, the man uses that same rhetoric to threaten all “colonizers”:

I admire his honesty. I wish more people would listen to him and understand what’s going to happen.

In response to the above tweet, conservatives noted that we Americans are armed. Well, yes, but not all of us. In Israel, the armed kibbutz survived, but the rest died horribly.

When the de-colonizers finish with the Jews and come from you, if you’re not armed (and if you’re a morally equivalent leftist, I know you’re not armed), you’ll be one of the guys and gals at the peace rave. No one will save you. And they’re coming for you. Your only choice is to let a legitimate military kill them before they kill you.
