1 in 4 ISIS brides returned to Sweden now work in Swedish schools, shocking report reveals

More than a quarter of all ISIS brides returned to Sweden from the Al-Hol camp in Syria are now working with young children in the Swedish education sector, an investigation by the Expressen newspaper has revealed.

Of the 81 women confirmed to have fled Sweden to join the Islamic State at the peak of its power and subsequently repatriated, 21 were found to now be employed in Swedish schools, kindergartens, and asylum centers for kids.

The bombshell report evoked a strong reaction from government ministers who questioned how radicalized individuals who were willing to join a terrorist organization had been permitted to work with young people upon their return to the country.

“This shouldn’t have been allowed to happen,” said Education Minister Lotta Edholm in response to the news.

“It is completely unacceptable that people who are IS terrorists work in the Swedish school system, leisure centers, and the like,” she added.

Edholm confirmed that she had called an urgent meeting with the relevant authorities to discuss the issue, and accused educational facilities of systemic failure in screening its candidates.

“It is the employer’s responsibility to take references, for example, and to have control over what a person has done before being employed. In these cases, it has clearly failed,” she told the Expressen.

It is understood that the Security Police, the Center against Violent Extremism, and several representatives of independent schools and their school boards have been summoned for talks.

Edholm admitted it is likely that some of the former jihadists had taken the jobs with ulterior motives.

“It is surely not a wild guess to believe that at least some of these have taken jobs in the school world to influence young people in this direction,” she said.

Sweden appears to have an issue with extremists falling through the cracks when it comes to employment background checks, particularly within the education sector. Earlier this year, the Expressen reported that a male ISIS returnee, who had been convicted and jailed for joining the terror organization, had acquired work as a substitute P.E. teacher in Gothenburg just three months after being released from prison.

The newspaper revealed that the details of that particular crime had not been required to be disclosed during a background check, and thus his employers had no knowledge of his extremist history.

“The school system must understand that we are in a different situation today,” Edholm said as she called for reforms to the screening system. “You have to get proper references when hiring people, even for people who may be hired just for a temporary position,” she added.

Leading terror expert and Swedish political scientist Magnus Ranstorp called the revelations from the report “shocking.”

“They are unsuitable for those positions. They should not work in environments with children and young people, where they can continue to influence them,” he added.

GB News and BBC beclown themselves

GB News, Great Britain’s ostensibly (if mildly) conservative counterpart to the BBC, is rapidly making itself a laughingstock of MSNBC proportions.

First, the great Mark Steyn was effectively forced from the media outlet when it attempted to push Steyn into accepting a contract making Steyn legally accountable for anything he or his guests might utter that British regulators within the Orwellian Office of Communication (OfComm) might deem to be hate speech or wrong-think.

Steyn has taken legal action against OfComm after it confirmed a previous episode breached “the code.” (The media watchdog took issue with an episode which aired on October 4 2022, and featured an interview between the “Niche Canadian” and Dr. Naomi Wolf, who made “serious claims” about the Covid-19 vaccine– which, as we all know, is strictly verboten.)

More recently, former BBC Chief Political Correspondent John Sergeant appeared on GB News to defend the BBC’s appalling decision to not label Hamas a terrorist organization.

And what, precisely, does the “Beeb” intend to call the bloodthirsty Hamas terrorists? “Legitimately perturbed Palestinian nationalists?”   “Mostly peaceful Mohammedan migrants?”

GB News is to journalism as The View is to, well…journalism.

Terror in Europe: Moroccan kills senior in revenge for Israeli air strikes

https://www.vikendi.net/

Recently a shocking attack took place in Hartlepool city of England. Local man Terrence Carney (70) was stabbed to death by a Moroccan asylum seeker while walking to an ATM.

After initially being kept away from the public, it is now known that the attack was a response to the Israel conflict, as reported by the Telegraph. The suspect confessed that he committed this act in revenge for Israel’s attacks on the Gaza Strip.

The man is Ahmed Alid, 44, who was housed in a hostel provided by British authorities for asylum seekers.

At least 1,400 Israelis killed in attack by militant Palestinians. Thousands of people were injured and at least 200 were taken hostage. After this Israel launched airstrikes and attacked several targets in the Gaza Strip.

The most important poll yet for Germany’s anti-immigration AfD party?

Germany’s anti-immigration Alternative For Germany (AfD) party has seen a dramatic rise in the polls over the last year and is now clearly the second most popular party in the country. However, the question has always been whether the AfD could translate this polling support into a position of power in the German government. One key poll shows that the AfD may have a chance to make this a reality.

A poll by Civey for Spiegel magazine found that 47 percent of Germans say that they would find it acceptable if parties entered a coalition with the AfD at the state level. The breakthrough poll shows that although all major parties reject cooperation with the AfD, the German public has a far more open view of the party, and this open view could translate into a shift in the stance of the major mainstream parties, namely the Christian Democratic Union (CDU).

This is a shift from the German public that is difficult to imagine even a year ago, when the AfD was still largely shunned.

The poll also shows that support for the AfD’s role in a coalition government is higher in the east of Germany, which is no surprise. In the east, 55 percent of Germans could support the AfD’s role in a government, whereas 44 percent of Germans in the west could support such a coalition.

The east will play a pivotal role in the AfD’s future, and in turn, all of Germany’s. Much rests on elections next year in the eastern states of Saxony, Brandenburg and Thuringia, where the AfD is currently the most popular party in all of those states. Given the AfD’s huge polling lead, forming a coalition without the AfD may be near impossible in some of these states.

If the AfD can manage to govern in even just one state, it could further normalize the party and push the CDU to accept the party at the federal level, even if such a possibility still remains unthinkable to CDU’s political leadership and could lead to a deep split in the party. However, as the Spiegel poll shows, the AfD has, in many ways, already become normalized in the eyes of Germans.

Armed with this polling data, the case will be easier to make for both the AfD and those in the CDU open to cooperation with the AfD, to make the jump toward a coalition at both the state and federal level.

It is important to note, however, that the Spiegel poll shows just as many Germans reject the AfD’s participation in a coalition government, and resistance to such a development remains fierce both from Germany’s media and political class — in addition to law enforcement and security services.

Climate Change Brat Greta Thunberg Tweets Support for Gaza With Anti-Semitic Symbol

Noted climate change brat Greta Thunberg recently tweeted a photo of herself with other activists, where she is holding a sign that says ‘stand with Gaza’ but even more troubling was the inclusion of an anti-Semitic symbol.

Sitting next to Greta in the photo is a light blue octopus, which is a historical anti-Semitic trope.

Thunberg claimed she didn’t know this and deleted the tweet, then adding another one without the octopus.

France: Interior Minister Gerald Daramanin says footballer Karim Benzema has links with banned Islamist group ‘Muslim Brotherhood’

French footballer Karim Benzema has denied the accusations by Interior Minister Gerald Daramanin that the former Real Madrid star has links with the Islamic terrorist group Muslim Brotherhood. Benzema, who currently plays in the Saudi league, has issued a denial through his lawyer.

While speaking to “conservative” news channel CNews on Monday (16th October), French Interior Minister Daramanin alleged that footballer Karim Benzema has “a notorious connection, as we all know, with the Muslim Brotherhood.”

“We are fighting the hydra that is the Muslim Brotherhood because it creates an atmosphere of jihadism,” Daramanin added.

On Thursday (19th October) Daramanin, in an interview with BFMTV, slammed the former French striker for not expressing sympathies for the 1400 Israelis killed by Hamas even though Benzema expressed solidarity with the Gaza residents.

“Benzema still hasn’t made a tweet for the murder of this teacher in Arras … for the beheaded babies …. for the raped women, for the 1,300 massacred by Islamist terrorism in Israel,” Darmanin said.

“If Mr. Benzema is able to show in front of 20 million people who follow him, including those who follow him because he now lives in Saudi Arabia and because he is eminently French, that he also mourns the death of this teacher, I will withdraw my comments,” Daramanin continued.

Daramanin went on to say that Karim Benzema has made the” extremely selective choice” to use the same discourse as the Muslim Brotherhood.

Meanwhile, Benzema’s lawyer Hugues Vigier has denied the allegations levelled against the footballer claiming that Benzema has never had any connection with the Muslim Brotherhood. He added that Benzema’s X post about the people of Gaza was just an expression of “natural compassion with what many today describe as war crimes being committed in Gaza, but which does not detract from the horror of the terrorist acts of October 7, something not open to discussion”. Vigier added that his team is considering to sue Minister Daramanin over his allegations against the footballer.

Notably, after Daramanin’s comments regarding Karim Benzema’s alleged links with the terrorist group Muslim Brotherhood, French Senator Valerie Boyer, vice-president of the conservative Les Républicains Party, called to strip Benzema of his French citizenship and Ballan d’Or award.

In a press conference on Wednesday (18th October), Boyer said, “If the remarks of the Minister of the Interior are proven, consider a symbolic sanction by withdrawing the Ballon d’Or” from Karim Benzema. We cannot accept that an internationally known French dual national could dishonour and even betray our country in this way.”

Expulsion proceedings have been initiated against the Tunisian citizen who was arrested last Monday after shouting threats against Jews near the synagogue in Turin, as well as against the person in charge of the place of worship, Interior Undersecretary Nicola Molteni said Friday in response to a question in the Chamber of Deputies.
“The foreigner, who in the circumstance also brandished a knife at the agents,” Molteni recalled, “was arrested for resistance to a public official, carrying offensive instruments, violation of immigration regulations and for incitement to crime for reasons of ethnic, racial or religious discrimination.”

Murder in France: Illegal African teen accused of slashing throat of 68-year-old woman in Lille

A 17-year-old Ivorian national living illegally in France has been arrested for the murder of a 68-year-old mother-of-four (photo above) who was found in her Lille home with her throat slit and her lower body exposed.

The unaccompanied minor, named as Mohamed B., was arrested and taken into police custody on Wednesday evening after being apprehended by a police patrol vehicle as he looked for a hostel to spend the night.

According to French broadcaster BFM TV, the teenager was born in 2006 in the Ivory Coast and is in France illegally. It is understood he remains in police custody and is being questioned.

The victim had been found lying in a pool of blood in her kitchen on Wednesday by emergency responders, a police source told French newspaper Le Figaro.

A neighbor had reportedly heard screams coming from the house shortly after 11 a.m. and witnessed the youth strangling the woman, but was herself beaten by the attacker when she tried to intervene.

“She returned home and raised the alarm. When the police arrived, the attacker had already disappeared,” a source close to the investigation told French media.

Le Figaro reported that a transport card in the name of the suspect was found at the crime scene.

A police source revealed that Mohamed B., despite his tender age, was already “unfavorably known to the police” but gave no further details about his criminal background.

A preliminary investigation found no link between the victim and the suspect, and police are working on the basis that this was a random attack with no clear motive.

An autopsy was conducted on Thursday, but the results have not been made public yet.

It is unclear whether the victim had suffered any sexual assault before her murder.

‘We need large-scale deportations of illegal migrants,’ insists German Chancellor Scholz

Chancellor Olaf Scholz said Germany needed to start deporting migrants who do not have the right to stay in the country  “on a large scale”.

The Socialist leader seems to have made the fight against illegal migration a new top priority for his government.

In an interview with German magazine Der Spiegel, Scholz made some strong remarks about migration.

“We must finally deport on a large scale those who have no right to stay in Germany,” he said, adding: “We must deport more and faster.”

Some, often Islamic migrants of Arabic descent, seem to be increasingly sympathetic regarding terrorists. Serious anti-Semitic incidents are also on the rise.

Scholz said Germany was standing on the side of Israel and no one in the country should applaud the Hamas attacks on the Jewish state. “Certainly not in a country whose history is inextricably linked to the Shoah,” he said in reference to the Holocaust.

The apparent growing backing for Hamas is further fuelling an already intense debate in Germany on immigrant arrivals, where the right-wing migration-sceptic AfD party is winning elections across the board, despite intensive campaigns against it.

Now Scholz is entering the migrant debate, insisting that “too many are coming”.

He added: “However, we will now make an even clearer distinction: on the one hand, it is about the immigration of workers, whom we need. And it is about people seeking asylum, for example, because they are politically persecuted.

This means, the chancellor said, “that those who do not belong to either group cannot stay with us. This is why we limit irregular migration to Germany.

“We are tightening border controls with our neighbouring countries, as we have just informed Brussels. We also aim to reduce incentives for irregular stays in our country,” he said.

“Those without a perspective for remaining in Germany, because they cannot claim protection reasons, must return.

“For this to happen, our authorities must be available 24/7, so we can carry out deportations when the federal police apprehend someone,” Scholz said.

“Furthermore, we need to push forward with the digitisation of immigration authorities, putting an end to the era of paperwork.

“Procedures need to be expedited by conducting asylum applications and interviews in initial reception facilities. Court proceedings also need to run more efficiently,” he said.

“In some federal states, the first instance in a deportation case takes four months, while in others, it takes 39. This is unacceptable. We need to deport more and do it faster.”

He also suggested working with other countries to have them take back people who had left for Germany. “In return, we will open regular pathways for the labour force we need to come to us.

“Many deportations have failed so far due to a lack of co-operation from the countries of origin and transit. We are changing that.”

Scholz denied he was taking a new line, claiming he had always had such an outlook.

Journalists were sceptical of that and many doubted if The Greens party agreed with him, but Scholz insisted the federal government was united on the issue.

He did add that the rising wave of retirements of the so-called “baby boomers” will increase the need for labour and that legal migration was required to deal with the consequences of that.

“They should not only work here but also live here, and integrate well, so that it becomes their urgent desire to become German citizens. In my opinion, this can be associated with some pathos, much like in the United States,” he said.

“Those who advocate for unlimited immigration must be honest and admit that we wouldn’t be able to maintain our welfare state as we have it today,” he concluded.

Germany received almost 1.2 million applications for asylum in 2015 and 2016, fuelled by the famous words of then-Chancellor Angela Merkel, “Wir schaffen das” or “We can handle this”.

The influx led to friction both within Germany and between European countries.

When Russia invaded Ukraine, another million migrants entered Germany. Over the same period, more than 200,000 applied for asylum. That all caused pressure on the social system and many feel it has fuelled the rise of right-wing parties in the country.
