Left in shock: After German politician is smeared as an anti-Semite, his Free Voters’ party soars to 2nd place in Bavarian polls

German media has been dominated with nearly non-stop coverage of allegations that Bavarian Vice-Minister Hubert Aiwanger wrote an anti-Semitic pamphlet and made edgy, racist jokes when he was 17 years old — nearly 35 years ago. However, he has not only weathered the storm and stayed in power, but the first poll taken since the scandal broke shows his party has jumped to second place in the German state of Bavaria right before elections on Oct. 8.

According to the Insa survey, if elections were held now, the right-wing, populist Free Voters would secure 15 percent of the vote, an increase of 4 points over the July survey and the highest polling result the party ever recorded.

The Free Voters currently serve in a ruling coalition in the German state of Bavaria with the Christian Socialist Union (CSU). The CSU lost one point in the most recent poll, but is still the most popular party at 37 percent.

Germany’s mainstream media has been running nearly non-stop stories about Aiwanger, which have dominated the front pages and been run on state-media channels ARD and ZDF. Journalists dug up decades-old accusations claiming that Aiwanger wrote an alleged anti-Semitic pamphlet when he was a teenager, which had been found in his backpack. However, his brother, Helmut, has since come forward and stated he was the one who wrote it, and Aiwanger himself has denied the allegations.

Left-liberal media outlets and parties went into a rage when they learned that Bavarian Prime Minister Markus Söder would not drop Aiwanger as a partner in his ruling coalition. There had been hopes from the left that the Bavarian government would collapse, but their rage has been likely exacerbated after polling shows that Aiwanger is in a stronger position than ever heading into fall elections. In effect, it appears that the scandal boosted his profile.

Interestingly, the poll shows that the Free Voters emerged stronger from the scandal, but not at the expense of the Alternative for Germany (AfD), which is at 14 percent in Bavaria and is the third most popular party there. Combined, the Free Voters and AfD command nearly 30 percent of the vote. With the CSU, a marginally conservative party, at nearly 40 percent, the combined right commands nearly 70 percent of the vote in the wealthy southern German state.

In addition, in a survey for the TV channel RTL/n-tv, Forsa showed the public is behind Söder’s decision to keep Economics Minister Aiwanger in the coalition, with 58 percent of Bavarian voters backing the choice.

Some interesting sidenotes to Larry Sinclair’s tale of sex and drugs with Obama

By Andrea Widburg

Last night, Tucker Carlson released his interview with Larry Sinclair, the man who alleges that, in 1999, while in Chicago, he did cocaine with Obama (who preferred to smoke his) and then performed oral sex on Obama. This is a tale that Sinclair has told before. It’s worth noting because it reminds us of the partnership between the media and the Democrat party. There were also some interesting details about big tech and a strange death (or maybe a few strange deaths).

Here’s the interview:

As I said, nothing new. However, I found it very amusing when, after hearing Sinclair detail how he shared drugs with Obama and performed oral sex on him, Tucker asked Sinclair if that left a bad taste in his mouth, and Sinclair said that it did. Tucker and Sinclair were obviously speaking about the entire two-day interlude, from first meeting Obama to never seeing the man again, but I can be remarkably literal and, well, you get the joke.

Image: Larry Sinclair and Tucker Carlson. X screen grab.

There were two interesting parts of the interview with which I was not familiar. The first was Sinclair’s discussion about how the media and big tech went after him. Some media outlets lied about Sinclair’s criminal history (which he’d been quite open about in the YouTube video he originally made), grossly exaggerating it, and then dismissed him as a criminal and a crackpot.

Others blacked out the story after the Obama campaign said that, if they reported on it, the campaign would blacklist them. They chose access over investigative reporting and honesty. They also chose it over national security. After all, a president with a secret life of drugs and gay sex is perfectly situated to be blackmailed, with huge national security consequences. But for the national political media, getting a black man into the White House was more important than America’s well-being and safety.

Sinclair also explained that he was very quickly locked out of YouTube. YouTube gave someone else access to his account after he took a polygraph test and then deleted the video. Microsoft, meanwhile, allowed someone else access to his Hotmail account, with that person circulating his emails on the internet and creating an obscene automatic response to any emails sent to the account.

The second interesting thing was Sinclair explaining how, in late 2007, he reached out to the Obama campaign suggesting that the campaign stop telling all sorts of conflicting stories about Obama’s drug use. The campaign, he said, should just admit that Obama was still using drugs at least as late as 1999. Sinclair didn’t hear back from the campaign. Instead, he heard from Donald Young, who explained that the campaign wouldn’t acknowledge any sex or drug stories about Obama.

According to Sinclair, Young eventually told him that he was the gay choirmaster at the Reverend Wright’s church, the one where Obama sat in the pews for 20 years as Wright blasted America. He also said that he had a long-term “intimate” relationship with Obama. Not long after that, Young was murdered in his apartment. Young’s mother believes that it was to silence him (according to Sinclair).

Curious about this, I searched Young’s name on the internet and stumbled across an anti-Obama article from 2009. According to this article, Young was one of three gay men in Wright’s congregation who were executed within less than two months of each other. The local media suspected a gay killing rampage. However, the 2009 article suggests that they were killed because it’s possible that all three, not just Young, could have talked about Obama.

That’s conspiracy theory stuff, but if true, it would also answer a question I’ve always asked myself: If Obama was indeed having gay sex in Chicago, how was it that only one person talked? Can that many people really keep a secret? Well, they could if those who knew were getting knocked off. Then, it’s very likely that others would discover the virtue of silence.

China: Lawmakers mulling over introducing a law to ban clothes that ‘hurt feelings’

China to bring law that could ban clothes that hurt feelings of government (Image Source – Times of India)

A proposed draft law in China has alarmed Chinese citizens and has caused great apprehensions. There is a growing concern that Chinese lawmakers are mulling bringing a law that would impose penalties and jail time for people who offend the government’s sensibilities by wearing the “wrong clothing”, Western media outlets reported.

Evidently, the Standing Committee of the nation’s legislature recently released a draft of revisions to the law that could prohibit a wide range of behaviour. These ‘unacceptable’ behaviours reportedly include dress or speech that could be “detrimental to the spirit of the Chinese people and hurt the feelings of the Chinese people.”

Interestingly, the lawmakers have not clearly spelt out exactly for what ‘offences’ people could be sent to a detention centre for up to 15 days or fined up to 5,000 yuan ($680). However, they have clearly listed the law among their priorities for this year.

Last year, the police officials in Suzhou which is a city near Shanghai, arrested a woman for wearing a kimono in public.

Notably, China has strained relations with Japan that stretch as far back as World War II. This recently worsened after Tokyo decided to release treated wastewater from the wrecked Fukushima nuclear plant into the ocean.

In the wake of this rivalry with Japan, Chinese authorities have also taken strict action against people who wear shirts with rainbows at concerts or distribute flags on a university campus that have the pro-LGBTQ symbol on them.

Reportedly, the flag episode against which Chinese authorities acted harshly occurred at the prestigious Tsinghua University, where two students were officially reprimanded.

According to Bloomberg News, many Chinese citizens expressed concerns on their social media platforms about the proposed changes to the law and have claimed that Chinese lawmakers may have gone “too far”.

One user who goes by the handle Nalan lang yueyueyue on Chinese social media site, Weibo asked how authorities would know when the nation’s feelings would be hurt.

The user asked, “Shouldn’t the spirit of the Chinese nation be strong and resilient?” and added, “Why can it be easily damaged by a costume?”

A man who identifies himself as a lawyer on Weibo, Du Zhaoyong said that the law would “definitely bring huge uncertainty and open wide the door of convenience to arbitrary and unauthorised punishment.”

Unsurprisingly, the great Chinese firewall acted against the post and it later disappeared from Weibo.

However, no initial response could be received from the National People’s Congress.

The proposed law is a glaring example of how Chinese President Xi Jinping has clamped down on civil liberties during his reign and this includes further expansion of internet censorship.

Austria: Nine Muslims arrested, several migrants, linked to jihad groups, planned prayer room featuring ISIS flag

A prayer room? Don’t they know what every last non-Muslim politician in the Western world knows, that the Islamic State (ISIS) has nothing whatsoever to do with Islam?

Landmark Case Against Frontex Ends in Disappointment for Syrian Refugee and Accountability Advocates

Влада на Република Северна Македонија, Wikimedia Commons, CC-BY-SA-4.0

The ruling against the Syrian refugee in his case against Frontex, the EU’s border protection agency, has dealt a significant blow to ongoing efforts to make the agency more transparent and accountable.

The man, along with his wife and four small children, had made a treacherous journey from war-torn Aleppo to Greece in 2016. However, just 11 days after their arrival, they were forcibly deported to Turkey by Frontex, before their asylum application could be processed.

This landmark case was seen as a crucial opportunity to challenge the operations of Frontex in Greece and other countries, in order to ensure greater transparency and accountability for the member states that employ the agency. The ruling by the European court of justice dismisses the Syrian man’s claim, stating that Frontex is not responsible for asylum processes.

According to the court, Frontex lacks the authority to assess return decisions or applications for international protection, absolving the agency of any liability for the damage caused by the deportation of refugees to Turkey.

The man’s case was brought to court by Amsterdam-based law firm Prakken d’Oliveira, with support from various organizations including the Dutch Council for Refugees, the campaign group BKB, Sea-Watch Legal Aid Fund, and Jungle Minds.

They argued that the man had fallen victim to a “pushback” by Greek authorities, and accused Frontex of violating asylum procedure rules and children’s rights by separating the man and his wife from their family during their forced return to Turkey.

The legal team sought compensation on behalf of the man, requesting €96,000 for material damage and €40,000 for non-material damage, alleging unlawful conduct on the part of Frontex throughout the entire return operation. However, it took three years for these organizations to obtain the necessary documentary evidence from Frontex to support their case.

The court ultimately ruled that Frontex’s role is purely to provide technical and operational support to member states, and that it is the member states themselves that possess the authority to assess return decisions and process applications for international protection. This ruling not only hampers efforts to hold Frontex accountable for its actions but also places the responsibility squarely on the shoulders of member states, potentially allowing for further human rights violations and lack of transparency in deportation operations.

The implications of this ruling go beyond the specific case of the Syrian refugee and his family. It underscores the pressing need for greater oversight and accountability regarding the actions of Frontex in migration management. Many activists and human rights organizations argue that Frontex’s operations should be subject to more scrutiny to prevent further violations of migrant rights and ensure compliance with international law. Without such accountability mechanisms in place, the challenge of making Frontex transparent and accountable remains an uphill battle.

60% of unemployment benefit recipients in Sweden have migration background

The majority of those receiving unemployment benefits in Sweden have a migration background despite comprising a fifth of the population, the latest government figures revealed.

At a press conference on Monday, the Swedish government announced its autumn budget proposal to cut income taxes for those with low and medium incomes, which it claimed would save the average working family around 14,000 Swedish krona (€1,176) a year.

Finance Minister Elisabeth Svantesson said the move was necessary to provide workers with a reprieve during the ongoing cost-of-living crisis and would incentivize workers.

“It needs to pay better to work. The driving forces to work therefore need to be increased through a strengthened employment tax deduction,” she said.

Government figures provided at the conference showed that 300,000 people in Sweden are currently registered as unemployed with the Swedish Public Employment Service.

“Just under half of those unemployed have non-European ancestry,” a government fact sheet stated, adding that “60 percent of all grant recipients in Sweden have foreign origins.”

This is despite the country’s immigrant population standing at 2.15 million at the end of last year, according to Statista. This represents around 20 percent of the Swedish population, showing migrants disproportionately make up a majority of Swedish jobseekers.

Mats Rune Dagerlind, political editor of the Swedish news site Samnytt, which reported on the revelation, commented: “Now I’m getting confused. ‘Without immigration, Sweden will stand still, it enriches our country and is a source of competence.’ I have been taught. Very strange…”

Sweden’s center-right government, propped up by the anti-immigration Sweden Democrats, has sought to reform the country’s immigration laws since taking office last September, recently announcing several new draft bills designed at restricting the requirements to come and work in the country.

Starting next month, prospective migrants must show they have secured employment with a salary of 26,560 Swedish krona (€2,347.15) per month, more than double the current threshold of SEK 13,000. Furthermore, the age threshold at which new arrivals can apply for residence permits for their spouses will increase from 18 to 21.

To combat illegal immigration, the government is considering the introduction of a mandatory requirement for public institutions to report instances when they come into contact with migrants in an irregular situation amid reports that more than 100,000 people are living in the country illegally.

Trans-Identified Male In Switzerland Facing Charges Of Sexually Abusing Stepdaughters, Reportedly Molested Them While Wearing Lingerie

Burgdorf, JoachimKohlerBremen, Wikimedia Commons, CC-BY-SA-4.0

A trans-identified male in Switzerland is facing charges of child sexual abuse and sexual exploitation after persistently molesting his two stepchildren over the course of 9 years. The man, who cannot be named due to his proximity to the victims, is also facing charges of public exhibitionism and social insurance fraud.

According to local reports, the trial commenced on September 4 at a court in Burgdorf and features a slew of highly disturbing elements, including cross-dressing and BDSM. As per the indictment, the man, who was the long-term life partner of the victims’ mother, regularly sexually abused his two underage stepdaughters.

Between 2009 and 2018, the man lived with the girls’ mother, during which time he had access to her children. On Saturdays and Sundays, he’d sleep in the eldest daughter’s bed, pinning her between his body and the wall. The girl would be forced to endure gropes to her vagina and breasts, with the indictment stating that the “accused sometimes only wore sexy lingerie, possibly only a thong/string” while the abuse took place. The exact age of the older daughter is unknown, but she was attending Swiss Grade 5, during which time children are usually 11-12 years of age.

The man had a particular proclivity for BDSM, and often subjected the older daughter to “bondage sessions.” According to 20 Minuten, he would practice Japanese shibari, a form of rope bondage initially developed as a torture and interrogation method for prisoners of war, in order to tie the girl’s hands and legs together, while also blindfolding her. The “bondage session” would also sometimes include the girl being suspended from a specially-made bamboo stick in his room.

The defense attorney attempted to argue that there was “no sexual context” involved when the man bound the girls with rope, claiming that shibari is practiced for “aesthetic” and “artistic” purposes. However, the accused admitted to groping the girls’ bodies while they were bound.

The younger of the victims, who was approximately 4 years old at the start of the abuses, took the stand on Monday to describe the trauma that she had been left with as a result of the sexual exploitation.

“Even when I am addressed in a slightly aggressive tone, I sometimes start to cry,” the victim told the court, noting that she struggles with her self-image as a result of the abuse.

The younger victim also described being groomed by her stepfather, who would often attempt to create tension between her and her sister by treating them differently. Both of the victims express that they attempted to earn their stepfather’s “kindness” by allowing him to subject them to abuse.

When participating in the “bondage sessions,” during which the girl would have been 6-7 years old, she explains she thought it was a game at the time.

The girls’ mother, who is also being charged in this case, reportedly didn’t notice the sexual abuse until long after it had begun. The mother worked full-time while the girls’ stepfather was often at home alone with them. The older daughter, who is now 19, did not report the extent of the sexual abuse to her mother until just before she moved out of the house.

The victims’ mother is facing charges largely related to complacency, but currently maintains a “very good relationship” with her daughters. During the hearing on Monday, she asserted that she was unaware of the extent of the abuse and has not had contact with her ex-partner for a long time.

As per court minutes, the man was described as wearing “clothing typical of women,” though he was addressed as a man during proceedings because he was not yet registered as female.

“The accused says he has been wearing typical women’s clothing such as skirts and stockings for five or six years. However, his internal gender conflict had already existed for 10-15 years. He now clearly feels like he belongs to the female gender,” reported 20 Minuten.

During Monday’s hearing, the man admitted to having given one of the girls, who was 13 at the time, a dildo, but claimed he had done it so she would “stop biting her nails.” He also said he had intended for her to use the dildo for “relaxing massages.”

When one of the victims described having to model bras and underwear for him, he again dismissed the sexual undertone, instead stating he was helping the minor find bras which offered adequate support.

The hearing continued into Tuesday, when the prosecutor asserted he would be seeking 45 months in prison for the man, but no prison time for the mother, even if she is found guilty of allowing the abuse to continue. Compensation of 20,000 Swiss Francs (approx. $22,000 USD) per victim is also being requested.

In response, the man’s defense lawyer accused the prosecutor of having a “personal problem” with his client, insisting “massive exaggerations” of abuse had been presented. The lawyer also stated that “no evidence” existed that the girls had in fact been sexually abused, and that the accusations were based only on their testimony.

The mother’s defense representative, however, is seeking a full acquittal.

At the end of Tuesday’s hearing, the man refuted that any abuse had taken place, while the mother fully accepted what had happened to her daughters and apologized to them, stating: “I’m really sorry for everything that happened. If I had known, I would have prevented it.”

The verdicts in the case will be announced on Thursday.

Switzerland is known for being particularly liberal when it comes to gender self-identification law. In January of 2022, it became one of the few countries on the European continent which allowed total self-declaration of gender for all Swiss residents over the age of 16. Individuals did not have to be on a hormone regimen or undergo surgery to change their legally registered sex and name.

Gender identity is a protected characteristic in Switzerland, and there are known cases of trans-identified males being transferred to women’s prisons on the basis of self-declared gender alone.

In 2022, a trans-identified male incarcerated for arson was placed in a women’s prison in Dielsdorf after the head of the institution said placement was “about identity.” The prison manager continued: “The woman has not taken any gender-adjusting measures. But for us she is a woman.”

The trans-identified male eventually requested a transfer back to the men’s estate after facing “discrimination” from female inmates.

Manhunt: Suspected Terrorist and Former Soldier Daniel Abed Khalife Escapes From London Prison

Wandsworth Prison.Derek Harper, CC-BY-SA-2.0

A suspected terrorist hung onto the bottom of a delivery truck as it drove out the gates of one of the UK’s largest prisons, sparking an appeal for information and a manhunt by London’s Metropolitan Police.

Daniel Abed Khalife, a British Army soldier who is accused of a terror plot — allegedly harvesting information from a Ministry of Defence database and staging a bomb hoax — is believed to have escaped from His Majesty’s Prison Wandsworth on Wednesday. The 21-year-old is said to have escaped from the London B-category prison by using his role in the facility’s kitchens to sneak under a visiting truck, holding onto the underside as it drove out of the compound.

THe Metropolitan Police said they were “urgently appealing” for information about Khalife, saying he “should not be approached” by members of the public, and that he had links to the London Kingston area. The force’s head of counterterrorism talked down the risk posed by Khalife being at large, though, saying Wednesday: “I also want to reassure the public that we have no information which indicates, nor any reason to believe that Khalife poses a threat to the wider public”.

Khalife was last seen wearing a white t-shirt, red and white chequered trousers and brown boots.

Per the Police’s statement, Khalife was being held pending trial at Wandsworth on for “terrorism and Official Secrets Act offences”. A July 2023 report about his case states Khalife, who has denied the charges against him, had acted against the “safety and interests of the State” in 2021 by using his access to an Army personnel file database to collect information which would be “useful to a person committing or preparing an act of terrorism”.

He was also accused of leaving “three canisters with wires” at his barracks at MOD Stafford which was allegedly a bomb hoax. Khalife was told by a magistrate in February that: “These matters are very serious… If you are convicted, you are going to face a prison sentence in years not months.”

His trial was due to be on November 13th.

BBC HATES Patriotism. Race Activists Seek to Destroy The Proms

Our Senior Fellow Rafe Heydel-Mankoo joined GB News Breakfast to respond to critics calling for the famous Last Night of the Proms to be diversified and drop its traditional patriotic songs like “Rule Britannia” and “Land of Hope & Glory” which, it is claimed, are redolent of imperialism. Rafe said anyone who believes Rule Britannia is in any way racist or condoning of slavery, as has been claimed, is either historically ignorant or stupid or a disingenuous race activist.
