Terror alert in Austria! Islamists planned attack on Pride Parade, three suspects arrested

Dramatic development in Austria: The State Security was able to thwart an attack on the Pride Parade. This was reported by the Vienna Provincial Police Directorate at a urgently convened press conference. Only two and a half years after the terrorist attack in Vienna, Islamists tried to cause another massacre.

The Pride Parade is the highlight of Vienna Pride every year. This year there was almost a murderous attack. An Islamist group allegedly chose the big event as a target – fortunately without success: investigators were able to thwart the extremists’ plans.

The three suspects, who in the meantime have been accommodated in the St. Pölten prison, are young Austrians with Bosnian and Chechen roots. The boys are 14, 17 and 20 years old. All three have radicalised themselves on the internet, it is said. They are said to sympathise with the IS. They possibly wanted to carry out the attack with a car. In recent years, terrorist attacks with cars and trucks have caused numerous deaths.

The suspected trio was arrested before the mass event began, said Omar Haijawi-Pirchner, director of the State Protection and Intelligence Directorate (DSN), at a press conference on Sunday. There was “at no time a decided danger for the participants in the parade”, he emphasised.

The DSN had been informed in advance about the alleged plans of the suspects, who had been radicalised online and sympathised with IS, kept them “under constant control” and arrested them on the order of the public prosecutor’s office in St. Pölten after house searches on Saturday, which uncovered various evidence, including weapons.

The three young men were planning an attack “with a knife or motor vehicle”, it is said. One of the suspects had already been known to the police in connection with acts of terrorism. The suspects were monitored “closely”. There were also indications that weapons had been bought abroad. A Cobra task force arrested the trio.

Now the extensive evidence, including mobile phones, weapons, throwing stars, gas weapons as well as a sabre and the seized data carriers, had to be evaluated. One of the suspects also had a vehicle. Further investigations are to clarify whether he also intended to use it. It also has to be investigated whether the gas weapons had been modified or adapted.

The organisers of the Rainbow Parade were only informed about the events on Sunday. They did not want to create a panic among the participants, especially since the police raid had already taken place. According to Haijawi-Pirchner, the three had already carried out preparatory actions: “There was a corresponding moment of danger beforehand, but it was possible to intercept it completely.

For the politicians taking part in the rainbow parade, the corresponding security and protection concepts had been implemented yesterday.

Paris: Arrested after a knife attack, a suspect with an entry in the terrorism register S flees from a psychiatric hospital before being recaptured by the police – Another escape and re-arrest by the police

A 31-year-old man with an S-card, suspected of an attempted murder with a knife on June 5 in central Paris, was arrested by the police for the second time this week, although he had escaped again from the psychiatric hospital where he had been taken.

Police sometimes bemoan the fact that they keep arresting the same people. This was the case this week in the capital. According to information from Actu17, a 31-year-old man charged with “attempted manslaughter” after seriously injuring a 50-year-old man with a knife in the street in the III arrondissement on June 5, was arrested for the second time this week after again escaping from the psychiatric hospital in Saint-Maurice (Val-de-Marne).

Biden’s and Fetterman’s race to the bottom in the incoherence sweepstakes

The last couple of days have provided more evidence that both Joe Biden and John Fetterman have brain damage that is worsening with time. Nevertheless, Democrats continue to tell us that both are fine and fully capable of performing their jobs. Both we and the Democrat machinery know this for a lie, but that’s the point: Democrats are driving home the fact that they have acquired sufficient power in America that the only truth is what they tell us to believe.

We are exposed daily to Joe Biden’s continued deterioration. Yesterday, a video circulated showing Biden closing a speech before a gun control crowd by saying, “God save the queen, man”:

Was he referring to the now-deceased Queen Elizabeth II? And if he was, was that an appropriate thing for an American president to say, even if the queen in question is dead? Or was he referring to the man who jiggled his fake boobs on White House grounds the other day while Biden celebrated the wonders of sexual deviancy? Who really knows? It was Joe.

What emerged today was another highlight from that same appearance. This time, Biden was “explaining” how gun braces work. (You know, the stabilizers developed for vets whose injuries prevent them from holding a gun unaided.)

Even if you tease recognizable content from the gibberish, everything Biden said is wrong:

Not to be outdone, yesterday, John Fetterman tried to make a statement about the collapse of a section of I-95:

I hope you got that.

Then, today, Fetterman (elegantly clad in a hoodie and gym shorts) teamed with Biden in a mind-boggling competition of incoherence and confusion:

Many urge us to feel compassion for these two men, both of whom are viewed as victims of the Lady Macbeths in their lives, women who live for the glamor and power of their roles. However, I seem to lack the compassion gene. I see two men who campaigned as vigorously (if unintelligibly) as possible for office and obviously still have enough sense to be aware of what’s happening around them. That they don’t withdraw is everything you need to know about their decency or lack thereof.

My compassion, instead, is for the American people who voted against these decrepit remnants. That compassion isn’t just because the Democrat establishment routinely trots out these two human wrecks to represent Pennsylvania and the United States, embarrassing those who voted for mentally competent patriots. It’s also because of the message behind these embarrassments.

Everyone knows Biden and Fetterman cannot exercise their elected duties, yet they continue in office. If the party cared about America, it would gently force them into retirement. What’s happening, instead, is that we are being reminded that the Democrat party and its administrative agents in the Deep State are in charge. The puppets are for entertainment value. The real business is going on behind the scenes where, despite our living in an ostensible representative democracy, we have no say in our government.

Fetterman and Biden get paraded around because the Party no longer tries to deny its centrality and immutability. Instead, it amuses its members by using the remnants of two men always known for their incompetence (and, of course, Biden’s corruption) to flaunt its power.

They could be made to accept the most flagrant violations of reality, because they never fully grasped the enormity of what was demanded of them, and were not sufficiently interested in public events to notice what was happening. Hate Speech Law to ‘Restrict Freedom’ for the ‘Common Good’, Claims Irish Senator

Impending hate speech legislation is about “restricting freedom” for the “common good”, the chairwoman of the Irish Green Party said this week.

Appearing before the Irish Senate (Seanad) this week, Green Party chairwoman Pauline O’Reilly admitted that the intention of proposed legislation to further curtail speech in Emerald Isle is intended to “restrict freedom”, but in an Orwellian turn attempted to convince the public that this would somehow be in their interests.

“When one thinks about it, all law and all legislation is about the restriction of freedom. This is exactly what we are doing here. We are restricting freedom but we are doing it for the common good,” Senator O’Reilly said.

“Throughout our Constitution one can see that while one has rights they are restricted for the common good. Everything needs to be balanced.

“If a person’s views on other people’s identities make their lives unsafe and insecure, and cause them such deep discomfort that they cannot live in peace, our job as legislators is to restrict those freedoms for the common good.

“Social media has fuelled hatred but it has also put on display for all of us the dirty, filthy, underbelly of hatred in Irish society. That hatred has always existed.”

The Criminal Justice (Incitement to Violence or Hatred and Hate Offences) Bill 2022, which is still being debated by Irish lawmakers, has become highly controversial, with Twitter chief Elon Musk recently branding the bill as a “massive attack against freedom of speech”.

The legislation would criminalise large swaths of speech, including “incitement to violence or hatred against” against people with “protected characteristics”, as well as “condoning, denying or grossly trivialising genocide, war crimes, crimes against humanity and crimes against peace.”

The hate speech law would also controversially allow the government to jail citizens for merely possessing supposedly offensive material. Under the current form of the bill, anyone found in possession of so-called hateful material would be subject to up to one year in prison.

Speaking against the bill, Senator Rónán Mullen warned that the legislation would curtail free speech and be used as a weapon to target political dissent.

“We are in a society dominated by cancel culture where people are frequently accused of being haters for expressing points of view that are not hate but simply robust expressions of opinion,” Mullen said.

“When the social media mob is on the rampage, the Garda and the prosecution service will have little choice but to pursue the Graham Linehans and JK Rowlings of Irish society for robustly expressing their points of view.”

The independent Senator went on to say: “Freedom of expression is a fundamental human right. Without it, there is no free exchange of ideas at all levels within society. In short, there is no democracy. That is why we use the term ‘fundamental’.”

Right-wing populists to power in several Spanish cities

Spain’s far-right party Vox took power Saturday in coalition with the conservative Popular Party (PP) in 10 major cities, a tie-up that could be repeated after a national election next month.

The mediaeval city of Toledo and the northern city of Burgos were among the municipalities to swear in a PP-Vox coalition government following local and regional elections on May 28.

Vox said in a statement it would seek to abolish “ideological” city departments, such as those dedicated to promoting equality, which “squander” money and have not solved people’s “real problems”.

The main opposition Popular Party and Vox performed well in last month’s polls, prompting Socialist Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez to call an early general election on July 23.

Most surveys suggest the PP will win the most votes in the snap elections but will need to form a potentially awkward alliance with Vox to be able to form a government.

Sanchez has made the threat posed by a government that includes the anti-feminist and social conservative party a central plank of his re-election campaign.

A deal reached between the PP and Vox on Thursday to govern the eastern Valencia region following last month’s election quickly sparked controversy.

The head of Vox in Valencia, Jose Maria Llanos, sparked an outcry after he said “gender violence does not exist”.

Vox has until now only governed in a coalition with the PP in the sparsely populated region of Castilla y Leon near Madrid.

Founded in 2013 by disgruntled former members of the mainstream PP, Vox is the third-largest party in parliament.

Among the other cities where a PP-Vox coalition government was sworn in on Saturday was Alcala de Henares, the birthplace of the author Miguel de Cervantes, and Mostoles, a southern Madrid suburb.

Biden administration supports terrorist organization in Bangladesh

The Biden administration and several lawmakers in the United States Congress are extending support towards Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP), despite the fact that it is an undesignated terrorist organization, while the party’s current acting chairman Tarique Rahman is a convicted terrorist.

On August 21, 2004, at the direct instructions of Tarique Rahman, terrorists of BNP along with members of militancy outfits such as Harkat-ul-Jihad (HuJI) had launched grenade attacks targeting Sheikh Hasina and leaders of Awami League. According to the court verdict, this gruesome attack was a well-orchestrated plan through abuse of state power.

And all the accused, including BNP Senior Vice Chairman Tarique Rahman and former top intelligence officials, were found guilty and handed down various punishments for the grenade attacks that killed 24 people and injured scores. In the murder case, Tarique and 18 others were sentenced to life in prison.

Major General Gaganjit Singh, former Deputy Director General of Bharat’s Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA), said BNP acting chairman Tarique Rahman was the mastermind of 10 truck arms haul in Chattogram [Chittagong] in 2004.

Talking to India Today and a television channel in Bangladesh, he said the arms were being supplied under direct patronization of the then BNP-Jamaat alliance to use Bangladesh as a sanctuary.

Ten trucks full of arms seized at Chittagong in April 2004 was meant not only for the United Liberation Front of Asom (ULFA) but also for a few other rebel groups in Bharat’s northeast to destabilize the country, he added. The arms were being supplied by taking advantage of the BNP-Jamaat alliance to use Bangladesh as a sanctuary, Singh revealed.

It may be mentioned here that, BNP tried to turn Bangladesh into a sharia state by spreading cocoons of terror while it has also been actively working in sponsoring cross-border terrorism and international terrorism with the nefarious agenda of spreading seeds of terrorism within the Bharatiya states.

According to court documents published by the US Department of Justice (DOJ) dated December 16, 2016, while giving verdict to an asylum petition of a BNP activist, an Immigration Judge in the United States found the petitioner to be credible but concluded that he was ineligible for asylum and withholding of removal due to his inadmissibility under section 212(a)(3)(B)(i)(VI) of the Act, 8 U.S.C. § 1182(a)(3)(B)(i)(VI), as a member of the BNP – which the Immigration Judge deemed to be an undesignated terrorist organization under section 212(a)(3)(B)(vi)(III) of the Act (I.J. at 3-6).2

But for the respondent’s inadmissibility under section 212(a)(3)(B) of the Act, the Immigration Judge would have granted the respondent’s application for asylum under section 208(b) of the Act based on showings of past persecution and a well-founded fear of future persecution in Bangladesh on account of his political opinion (I.J. at 6-9; Exh. 3 at 5; Tr. at 10, 22-40).  

The court verdict further said:

Generally under the Act, a group is designated as a “terrorist organization” either by the Secretary of State pursuant to section 219 of the Act, 8 U.S.C. § 1189, or by publishing the designation in the Federal Register after the Secretary determines, in consultation with the Attorney General or Secretary of Homeland Security, that the group engages in “terrorist activity.” 5 See sections 212(a)(3)(B)(vi)(I), (II) of the Act. However, even if not so designated, a group may qualify as an undesignated “terrorist organization” if it is composed of “a group of two or more individuals, whether organized or not, which engages in, or has a subgroup which engages in [terrorist] activities.” Section 212(a)(3)(B)(vi)(III) of the Act. Nevertheless, even if an alien is a member of an undesignated terrorist organization he or she remains eligible to seek asylum and withholding of removal, if he or she can “demonstrate by clear and convincing evidence that [he or she] did not know, and should not reasonably have known, that the organization was a terrorist organization.” Section 212(a)(3)(B)(i)(VI) of the Act.

Unlike with designated terrorist organizations under sections 212(a)(3)(B)(vi)(I) and (II), a determination regarding a group’s status as an undesignated terrorist organization under section 212(a)(3)(B)(vi)(III) of the Act must be made on a case-by-case basis, in connection with an individual application for immigration benefits. See U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Servs., Dep’t of Homeland Security, Terrorism-Related Inadmissibility Grounds (TRIG), uscis.gov (follow “Laws” hyperlink; and then follow “Terrorism-Related Inadmissibility Grounds” hyperlink); see also Melanie Nezer, The Material Support Problem: Where US. Anti-Terrorism Laws, Refugee Protection, and Foreign Policy Collide, 13 Brown J. World Aff. 177, 179 (2006). For this reason, any determination regarding the BNP’s status as an undesignated terrorist organization under section 212(a)(3)(B)(vi)(III) of the Act is case-specific and must be based on the facts presented in each individual case.

According to the Department of Justice, Tier III terrorist organizations are also called “undesignated terrorist organizations” because they qualify as terrorist organizations based on their activities alone without undergoing a formal designation process like Tier I and Tier II organizations.

Neo-Taliban forces want to capture power in Bangladesh

Bangladesh Nationalist Party from its very birth under military dictator General Ziaur Rahman has been vigorously pushing-forward anti-Bharat, anti-Hindu and pro-Islamist agenda with the aim of turning Bangladesh into another Afghanistan or Pakistan. During BNP’s rule of 2001-2006, supporters of this party were seen openly chanting slogans Aamra Hobo Taliban, Bangla Hobey Afghan (We shall become Taliban, Bangla will turn into Afghanistan) and burning American flags on the streets of Dhaka and other major cities.

Furthermore, BNP had directly sponsored and patronized Islamist militancy outfit Jamaatul Mujahedin Bangladesh (JMB) while it was maintaining direct links with Harkat-ul Jihad (HuJI), Khatmey Nabuwat Movement (an anti-Ahmadia outfit) and were behind terrorist acts targeting religious minorities such as Hindus, Christians, Buddhists, Ahmadis and others.

It may be mentioned here that Harkat-ul-Jihad-al-Islami is believed to have been founded as an offshoot of a Pakistani group in 1992 with money and support from suspected global terrorist mastermind Osama bin Laden. Western intelligence officials believe a certain Fazlul Rahman, who signed bin Laden’s February 23, 1998, declaration of holy war on the US on behalf of the Jihad Movement in Bangladesh, is an associate of the now independent group.

Greece: Pakistani and Bangladeshi men suspected of raping Polish woman – A 32-year-old man was taken into custody on the island of Kos in relation to the disappearance of 27-year-old Polish national Anastasia-Patricia Rubinska

A 32-year-old man was taken into custody on the island of Kos in relation to the disappearance of 27-year-old Polish national Anastasia-Patricia Rubinska.

Rubinska, who has been missing since June 12, was employed at a hotel on Kos and lived with her boyfriend, who is also Polish.

The arrest was made based on witness testimonies and footage from security cameras in the area. The suspect, a resident of Kos, was identified as a 32-year-old man from Bangladesh. Authorities became suspicious when they discovered he had purchased a ticket to leave the island.

Initially, five men from Pakistan and Bangladesh were detained, but four were later released after explaining they had found an intoxicated Rubinska and allowed her to stay at their home until she recovered.

One of the Bangladeshis claimed to have had sexual intercourse with her before leaving her outside.

However, surveillance footage did not corroborate his story. Rubinska’s disappearance was reported to authorities by her partner, who received a phone call from her stating that she was in Marmari, had consumed too much alcohol, and someone would bring her to the hotel on a motorcycle.

She sent him her location, but when he arrived, she was nowhere to be found.

Several attempts to contact her failed as her phone was switched off. Her partner managed to locate her through a phone application, but she was in Tigaki instead, approximately 5 km away from her intended location.

On June 13, she did not appear for work, prompting a Missing Alert. Despite the arrest, Anastasia-Patricia is still missing as of Friday. Search efforts, involving the police, fire service, and volunteer groups, are ongoing, including the use of a drone.

Rubinska is described as being 1.65 meters tall, of average weight, and was last seen wearing a pink floral dress, blue sunglasses, and carrying a silver backpack.
