3 must-know facts about migrant crime in Germany

Foreigners are enormously overrepresented in Germany’s crime statistics, but this data is often countered by left-wing media and academics with a number of theories to explain this trend. The reality is, however, that all of these theories are not only highly misleading, but the reality of migrant crime is actually far worse than the statistics suggest upon first appearance.

Here are three facts about migrant crime that many Germans are unaware of but which are highly relevant to the debate around the country’s current migration crisis.

Migrant crime can be explained away by the number of young migrants

Perhaps the most common argument of those attempting to explain away migrant crime is that migrant crime figures are only higher because Germany’s foreign population features a higher rate of young males. While it is true that Germany’s immigrant population skews younger and more male than the general population, a deeper dive into the data shows that this does not fully account for foreigners’ outsized role in crime data, especially for serious crimes such as robbery, murder and rape.

Looking at the crime rates overall, according to the recently presented police crime statistics (PKS), 36 percent of all suspects identified for “crimes against life” in 2022 had no German passport. This is the most serious crime category, which includes murder. However, similar statistics are seen in crimes that cause “serious bodily harm,” such as assault. Of the 144,430 suspects in this category last year, 55,250 were foreigners, amounting to 38 percent.

However, this information can also be broken down by age. Germany’s crime data from 2022 lists 18,762 suspected non-German men aged 18 to 29 for “dangerous and serious bodily harm” and 23,869 German citizens. The PKS named 472 non-German male suspects between the ages of 18 and 29 who committed “offenses against life” and 593 Germans.

The data shows that non-German suspects are responsible for 44 percent of all of these violent crimes despite making up around 21 percent of men aged 18 to 29, according to the Federal Statistical Office. This means even when comparing foreign males to German males of the same age group, the foreign males are vastly more likely to commit violent offenses.

When looking at the total German population, non-Germans make up only 14 percent of the total population in Germany, according to the Federal Statistical Office.

Furthermore, in neighboring Poland, which has accepted virtually no migrants from the Middle East or Africa but has a large Ukrainian refugee population, violent crime is magnitudes lower than in Germany along with robbery rates, despite Poles being poorer on average than their German neighbors.

Many German criminals are not ethnic Germans

Another major factor glossed over by the left is that many of the suspects counted as “German” are actually of foreign origin; many are second or even third-generation Germans whose parents hail from other countries, such as Turkey or the Balkans. Many recent migrants have also obtained German citizenship, and as soon as they do, they are counted as German in the crime statistics.

Unlike the U.S., where data can still be found on the race of perpetrators, this data is simply not available to the public in Germany. This makes it far harder to know how well foreigners are integrating into Germany after they obtain citizenship or how second-generation immigrants are performing in Germany. Data from Denmark, for example, has shown that second-generation immigrants who obtain Danish citizenship actually have far higher crime rates than even the first.

However, according to German newspaper Die Welt, there are approximately 4 million people living in Germany with two or more nationalities, for example, those with dual Turkish-German citizenship. This group is entirely counted as “German,” and no distinction is made for this very large group in the crime data.

What we do know is that there are many of these individuals of foreign origin, who are counted as German, committing crimes, and often at very high rates. For example, according to former Berlin Interior Senator Andreas Geisel (SPD), three-quarters of clan members in Berlin already have German citizenship. The remaining 25 percent who are still counted as foreigners also have large extended families with children who have been granted German citizenship. These same clans have been involved with murders, money laundering, and a range of other offenses, and yet, all this crime gets lumped into the “German” category.

More and more people of foreign origin have been granted citizenship every year thanks to left-leaning policies enacted over 20 years ago. In 2000, the red-green government introduced major citizenship reform that meant the newborns of two foreigners would be granted German citizenship if one parent has lived legally in the country for at least eight years.

The foreigners committing crimes include tourists

Another argument is that criminal statistics count tourists committing crimes as “foreigners.”

Once again, the data dispels the claim that tourists are committing crimes at high rates in Germany.

Crime data from 2021 from the PKS shows that of all the “dangerous physical assaults” recorded that year, only 2.1 percent of the non-German suspects “reside outside of Germany” and another 1.9 percent had an “unknown place of residence.” For crimes against life, such as murder, 3.6 percent of the non-German suspects were a “resident outside Germany” and a further 3.3 percent of the non-German suspects had an “unknown place of residence.”

This data shows that non-Germans living abroad but visiting Germany, such as tourists from Italy, do not play a major role in violent crime.

What does the future hold?

It should now be clear how the issue of migrant crime statistics is widely distorted by not only the way Germany records crime in the country, but also how that crime is presented by the media and political class. Most Germans remain highly ignorant about the reality of this crime data or how simple statistical tricks can vastly warp perception of the issue.

However, the situation is only set to get worse in the near future. The left-wing government coalition wants to introduce a sweeping new law that will shorten the amount of time it takes for an immigrant to become a citizen, from eight years to five years. If the law passes, it will not only create a new voting bloc of immigrants for Germany’s pro-migration parties, but it will also help the issue of “foreign” crime mostly disappear from the crime statistics within a year. In other words, many of those thousands of migrant suspects listed as “foreigners’ will suddenly be listed as “German.”

In turn, the left in the country could point to what is likely to be a new surge in “German” crime as evidence that Germans are far more dangerous than foreigners.

Most Germans, unaware of the statistical deception going on, will nod their heads in agreement and wonder whatever happened to the generally law-abiding and orderly Germans of yesteryear.

Any future conservative government that happens to come to power may be able to partly remedy the situation by introducing more accurate data into migrant statistics, such as is the case in Denmark, a country that tracks not only crimes committed by foreigners but also shows the crime rates of second-generation migrants even if they have Danish citizenship.

The only question is whether the current government will ever allow a nationalist-populist government to come to power. With extreme surveillance being deployed against Alternative for Germany (AfD) and a virtual ban on that party from operating in the media sphere, a lot more than crime statistics is at stake.

Recent convert Andrew Tate challenges people to desecrate Quran and social media gets flooded with people accepting the challenge: What started the fiasco

Tate challenged Sataists to repeat what they did to Bible (Image: Business Insider)

On May 1, former kickboxer and social media influencer Andrew Tate who recently converted to Islam, challenged people to desecrate the Quran. He was irked by a video from SatanCon 2023 where a Satanist tore down Bible pages and chanted ‘hail Satan’. Tate said, “Try the Quran if you’re so brave :)”. The emoji he used at the end of the tweet gave the impression that he wanted to say if anyone tried the same with Quran, he or she would not be spared. However, it did not go well with the netizens.

The tweet by Andrew Tate that triggered the fiasco

Social media users accepted the “challenge” by Tate and started posting photographs and videos desecrating the Quran. They trended #AndrewTateQuranChallenge to post on the media. There were images of burnt Quran, pork and bacon placed on the open Quran, the holy book in the mouth of a pig and other derogatory imagery against the Quran.

SatanCon 2023

For those who are unaware, SatanCon is a formal ceremony that ‘renounces’ symbols of oppression by ripping up a Bible and a ‘Thin Blue Line’ flag that represents police. The video that Tate quoted showed a woman tearing up Quran and chanting ‘Hail Satan’. SatanCon 2023 was a three-day event that took place in Boston, USA. It was hosted at the Marriott Copley Place by the Satanic Temple. The event marked the 10-year anniversary of the Temple.

Andrew Tate converted to Islam
In December 2022, Andrew Tate, a former Orthodox Christian embraced Islam. Since then, his Muslim fan base has increased exponentially. Tate was arrested and jailed in Romania as part of a human trafficking and rape investigation. Tate’s residence in Bucharest, where he was held alongside his brother Tristan, was raided by the Directorate for Investigating Organized Crime and Terrorism (DIICOT).

Interestingly, Tate was detained by the authorities, who seemingly tracked his social media accounts to discover his location after he engaged in a verbal brawl with Swedish environment activist Greta Thunberg. Thunberg mocked Andrew Tate recently when the kickboxer included her in a tweet boasting about the significant emissions produced by his huge automobile collection. In response to his tweet, Greta Thunberg took the ‘small d*ck energy’ jibe at Andrew Tate.

Later on December 28, Tate took to Twitter to post a 2-minute video mocking Thunberg over her previous tweet. The kickboxer in the video could be seen enjoying cigars and Pizza from ‘Jerry’s Pizza’, a Romanian restaurant chain. Several social media accounts and media reports claim that the box of Pizza displayed in Tate’s video helped authorities ascertain that he was in Romania, which certainly led to his arrest.

Previous incidents of Quran burning

There have been several incidents in the past where Quran was desecrated or burnt. In January 2023, Dutch leader Edwin Wagensveld of the far-right group Patriotic Europeans Against the Islamisation of the West (PEGIDA) destroyed a copy of the Quran in the Netherlands before setting it on fire.

The incident occurred just a few days after a copy o Quran was burnt in Sweden during a protest against Turkey. A copy of the Quran was reportedly burnt in Sweden during protests against Turkey outside Turkish Embassy in Stockholm, Sweden. Rasmus Paludan, the leader of the Danish far-right political party Hard Line, was the one who burnt the copy of the Quran.

The Push for ‘Net Zero Emissions’ is Climate Hoax Fiction, Not Energy Reality

By Jerome Corsi

Last August, Mark Mills, a senior fellow at the Manhattan Institute, published a prescient report entitled “The ‘Energy Transition’ Delusion: A Reality Reset.” The report demonstrates convincingly that the transition to Net Zero Emissions (NZE), if politically imposed, will mean a dramatically reduced standard of living for the world’s advanced industrial societies. It’s an excellent essay, but it misses the mark because Mills misses the real point of the leftist push for a “green energy” revolution: For leftists, NZE is not about the climate. Instead, NZE is simply a vehicle to achieve a purely political goal.

While eminently reasonable and admirable, the Manhattan Institute’s push for “energy and climate” reality to dominate governmental policy debates will fail because global warming and climate change hysteria derive from neo-Marxist anti-capitalist ideology. “Imaging a world without hydrocarbons” is predominately a utopian dream, fit only for a John Lennon lyric. Climate scientists, who exchange emails admitting their “hockey stick” arguments require rigged data, know that CO2 is not the turning knob of Earth’s temperature.

Do we want to return the world to a preindustrial level of CO2? Daniel H. Rothman, a professor at the Department of Earth, Atmospheric, and Planetary Sciences at MIT, published an important paper in the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences in 2002 His research established that over most of the geologic record of the past 500 million years, Earth’s CO2 concentration fluctuated between values two to four times greater than those of today. However, over the past 175 million years, the data show a long-term decline in the air’s CO2 content.

Mills correctly observes that “policymakers are beginning to grasp the enormous difficulty of replacing even a mere 10 percent share of global hydrocarbons—the share supplied by Russia—never mind the impossibility of trying to replace all of society’s use of hydrocarbons with solar, wind, and battery (SWB) technology.” He stresses that after two decades “of aspirational policies and trillions of dollars of spending, most of it on SWB tech, have not yielded an ‘energy transition that eliminates hydrocarbons.” He concludes that the lessons of the recent decade make it clear that SWB technologies cannot be surged in times of need, are neither inherently ‘clean’ nor even independent of hydrocarbons, and are not cheap.”

In a brilliant Twitter video, Mills points out there is “no such thing” as a zero-emissions vehicle.”

He points out that electric vehicles (EVs) do not eliminate carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions, but instead, EVs export CO2 emissions to the production chain. “You have to dig up about 500,000 pounds of materials to make a single 1,000-pound battery,” he explains. “It takes 100 to 300 barrels of oil to manufacture a battery that can hold one barrel of oil equivalent of energy. Just manufacturing the battery can have a carbon debt ranging from 10 tons to 40 tons of CO2, and the plans that are in place to increase the use of batteries will require an increase of minerals like lithium, cobalt, and zinc. Demand for those minerals will increase between 400 percent and 4,000 percent. There isn’t enough mining in the world to make enough batteries for that many people for their cars.”

Mills’s point is that the loss of a significant share of Russia’s energy supplies could trigger the third and most tremendous global energy shock since the invention of the computer. He writes:

Given that hydrocarbons are essential for contemporary society, the consequences of shortfalls or bans would be severe. The first two global energy shocks in the modern world—the 1973 Arab oil embargo and the 1979 Iranian revolution—triggered oil price increases of 200 percent and 400 percent respectively, and touched off global recessions. Each one had long-lasting impacts on policies, government spending, and geopolitics.

Against the backdrop of years “of hypertrophied rhetoric and trillions of dollars of spending and subsidies,” we still depend on hydrocarbons for 84 percent of all energy, merely two percent lower than two decades ago. “Solar and wind technologies supply barely 5 percent of global energy,” Mills observes. “Electric vehicles still offset less than 0.5 percent of world oil demand.”

The United Nations Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPC) insists on understanding Earth’s weather and climate in linear terms, targeting CO2 as the sole variable responsible for global warming. That the IPCC can confidently say that continued burning of hydrocarbon fuels will mean Earth’s temperature will rise more than 1.5°C above preindustrial levels by 2030 or 2050 is nonsense.

In Earth’s nonlinear climate system, any number of nonpredictable events may occur. The sun might flare or otherwise increase activity. Equally possible, the sun might already be entering a new minimum period. In time-series analysis, the variations of temperature recorded over a few years are too short a period to establish a recent Earth temperature phenomenon statistically. Time-series climate analysis requires hundreds of thousands or even millions of years of accurate data to be meaningful in geological time. But again, the real issue is that the climate is a vehicle for political change.

In his 2022 book, Marx in the Anthropocene, associate professor at the University of Tokyo Kohei Saito reimagined the writings of the “young Marx” to argue that Marx was a “degrowth ecological communist.” Saito embraces the NZE movement because he understands that “ecosocialism is the basis for degrowth.” He rejects the possibility of sustainable growth under socialism, realizing that only through degrowth ecosocialism can the “anarchy of capitalism” be transcended.

After years of the radical eco-left preaching the evil of hydrocarbon fuels, we have higher energy costs caused by the systematic implementation of SWB technology that makes no sense, given the rigors of economic theory, energy dynamics, or climate science. The global warming/climate change ideologues preached green energy, but not because the neo-Marxist left knew we had to achieve NZE to save the planet. Today’s radical green revolutionaries embrace NZE because they know that capitalism will fail, not because the world’s workers will unite, but because advanced industrial economies will collapse without abundant, cheap hydrocarbon fuels.

Great Reset: Companies Try Train Children to Eat Bugs in Switzerland

Companies in Switzerland are trying to train children to eat insects to build up a future customer base for the Great Reset-style protein.

Rather than peddling delightful Swiss chocolate, some companies in Switzerland are actively attempting to try to convince children to munch down on some bugs instead.

In a broadly sympathetic piece from the Wall Street Journal — a supposedly right-leaning American newspaper — bug food businessmen were followed around as they pushed their insect wares on mostly grossed-out kids.

Timothée Olivier of Swiss Insects, an association of Swiss bug food producers, said that he has been touring schools throughout the country in order to do tastings of their products.

“They are young, more open to novelty,” Olivier told the paper. “At some point, if not tomorrow then later, they will include insects in their diet.”

Not all kids seemed to be convinced, however, with one student saying: “I already eat enough insects when I go to Colombia, so I don’t have to eat them here.”

In 2017, Switzerland became the first country in Europe to permit the sale of insects as food for people and the EU followed in 2021, greenlighting the sale of crickets, certain types of mealworms and migratory locusts for human consumption.

One of the major bug protein firms in Switzerland, Essento, has so far been able to get its products on the shelves of the two largest supermarket chains in the country. The company focusses on worm products, with their eggs being placed in boxes full of grain and some water, and within weeks they are harvested and brought to the consumer.

Noelle Gmür, the head of marketting for the Zurich-based insect snack company Essento, said: “Why do you need a cow or a pig in between when you can just eat the insect itself?”

“It’s kind of like when you forget to bring out your vegetable trash,” she continued. “After two weeks or so, your trash is sometimes moving around.”

Packs of pre-cocked insect burgers based on protein-rich mealworm are seen on a supermarket shelf on August 21, 2017 in Geneva. (Photo credit should read FABRICE COFFRINI/AFP via Getty Images)

However, the move to push bug protein on the people — an agenda favoured by the World Economic Forum and other globalist institutions, has seen increased pushback as of late.

Recently, for example, the populist government of Giorgia Meloni has made moves to ban the use of insect protein in flour produced for pizza and pasta to protect the traditional cuisine of the nation and is set to mandate that bug-based flour be segregated in supermarkets.

French senator and farmer, Laurent Duplomb blasted the elites for pushing insects on the plebs while not indulging themselves, telling the WSJ: “This European Commission—which gives in to anti-meat lobbies and which undermines our agriculture and our gastronomic culture—I don’t want it anymore! I invite those who wish to eat crickets to come and eat them directly in my meadows: They will be natural, whole, unground and unprocessed!”

Swedish gangs growing by 1,000 new recruits a year, and it’s only going to get worse, warns police chief

Riggwelter, CC-BY-SA-3.0-migrated, Wikimedia Commons

Over 1,000 people are initiated into criminal gangs across Sweden every year, and the rate of recruitment shows no sign of slowing, warned National Police Chief Anders Thornberg on Tuesday.

Speaking to the Aftonbladet newspaper, the Swedish police chief revealed that over 30,000 people are now estimated to be involved in gang violence, and three new recruits are added every day.

“The (level of) violence in the capital is high, and the number of people involved is frightening,” Thornberg said in reference to Stockholm, where there are currently 10 different gangs engaged in turf wars. “Every day, three new people join the criminal environment, often children and young people,” he added.

The head of Sweden’s national police lamented the lack of police resources available to combat the rise in gang warfare and claimed the authorities are currently fighting a losing battle.

“The police do not have time to investigate the crimes; there is a lack of staff and especially staff with sufficient experience. The situation also means that there is no time to investigate other crimes,” he told the newspaper.

“As long as three new (recruits) are added every day, and we do not succeed in stopping recruitment to the networks, it will continue,” he warned.

Swedish authorities are doing what they can to address the issue, but the dramatic rise in gang activity over recent years has led to an increase in what police describe as “exclusion zones” or “parallel societies,” otherwise known as lawless no-go zones where employment is low and crime is rife.

Since Christmas last year, police in Stockholm alone have seized 100 pistols, 31 automatic rifles, 66 detonators, 10 hand grenades, and 79 kilograms of dynamite, according to Hampus Nygårds, the deputy manager of the National Operations Department (NOA).

Thornberg called for greater recruitment of police officers and extra funding to help break the trend, as well as greater cooperation between local forces across the country.

Authorities have a tough job on their hands, however, with last year seeing a record number of shooting murders. A total of 388 shootings were reported across the country, resulting in 61 deaths. A further 90 attacks with explosives were also recorded.

The rate of murder by firearm is two and a half times the European average.

Despite a concerted effort by authorities not to admit it, Sweden’s gangland culture has spiraled as a result of mass immigration, with government data showing that nearly 5,000 gang members in Sweden are either first- or second-generation immigrants.

Former Prime Minister Magdalena Andersson lamented the cultural divide now prevalent in the country before losing power last fall, telling reporters: “We now have parallel societies in Sweden. We live in the same country but in completely different realities.”

Her successor, Ulf Kristersson of the Moderate Party, warned in January the government would need to take radical action to address the problem, something it has so far failed to do.

Following a spate of high-profile gang conflicts resulting in numerous fatalities at the turn of the year, Kristersson labeled gang members “the domestic terrorists of our times” and warned the current situation is “uncontrollable.”

“This crime will not end on its own. These people must be locked up, those who are not Swedish citizens must be expelled from the country,” he added.

When Most Migrants are Unemployed – French immigration expert issues a dire warning to France

Jean-Paul Gourévitch is a French researcher specializing in immigration. His latest study, about recent immigration to France, is deeply pessimistic: he claims that immigration is not a net benefit to the country, but costs the state 25 billion euros annually. And even after years in France, two-thirds of the migrants are unemployed. The rest live, quite comfortably, on the generous benefits the French welfare state provides. More on his findings are in an article that is two years old, but even more relevant now than it was when it was published: “Migration costs France approximately €25 billion a year, many migrants remain unemployed even after years: academic,” by Dénes Albert, Remix News, May 26, 2021:

Only one third of migrants to France have found a job.

Employment data shows that it is a myth that immigration to France has economic benefits, French author and academic Jean-Paul Gourévitch said in an interview with Radio Sud.

I have studied this topic extensively and today everyone in France, from the left to the right agrees that immigration costs more than it brings in,” Gourévitch said. “There is a major difference between left and right (oriented) economists regarding the costs: the leftist economists say the deficit is six to ten billion [euros per year], while those on the right say it is 40 to 44 billion. My own scientific research shows that the deficit is 20 to 25 billion [euros].”

Gourévitch also spoke about the debate in Europe and France whether worsening demographic figures should be improved via immigration or domestic demographic incentives.

The fertility rate of the indigenous French is 1.49, far below the replacement level of 2.1. What is to be done? Some claim the solution is to admit more immigrants, without looking too deeply into whether those immigrants are a net cost to the government, or a net benefit. Others think that a pro-natalist policy could persuade enough French women to have more children, though so far, despite generous family allowances after the second child, and heavily subsidized nurseries and kindergartens, the French fertility rates keep going down. And even if they were to increase, babies born today in France will not make a difference to the funds available for pensioners for at least two decades, when those babies have grown up and entered the work force.

There is an argument that immigration could to some extent offset the birth rates, because there is a major difference between the birth rates of the domestic population and the migrant one,” he said. “The domestic population has a birth rate of 1.49 (children per couple), while the immigrant population has 2.5 to as many as four children. This (birth rate), however, is gradually declining, as the children of immigrants have fewer children than their parents who, in turn, had fewer children than their parents.”

Bringing in migrants to be able to increase our capacity to pay those retired is in fact a coup,” he said. “The migrants — those who work, of course — will contribute towards pensions, but for the rest it is a real burden for the state.”

Gourévitch also said his own studies showed that after five years of migrants arriving, only one third of migrants had jobs. These statistics mirror other countries which show, for example, in Sweden that most migrants will never become self-sufficient. Other countries like Germany have already spent tens of billions on migrants and plans to spend another €64.5 billion over the next four years.

All the surveys show that 5 years later, only 33% of migrants [in France] have found work,” said Gourévitch.

If only one-third of the migrants – who in France are overwhelmingly Muslims from North Africa – are employed, they will remain a net cost, not a benefit, to the government. Not enough of them will be paying into the government pension fund. And it turns out that two-thirds of these migrants are not finding jobs, whether through lack of skills or a desire to avoid work altogether and instead choosing to survive on the generous welfare benefits made available by the state. While Gourévitch doesn’t say it, it turns out that the Muslim migrants are much less likely to be employed than non-Muslim migrants, so that in their case, it is not two-thirds, but rather three-quarters of Muslim migrants who remain unemployed after five years.

Gourévitch (79), is the author of over 60 studies and books. While at the beginning of his career he focused on education, he later turned his attention to immigration. His latest book, “France in Africa 1520-2020” was published last year.

Gourévitch concludes that these economic migrants are costing the French state some 25 billion euros a year. It’s a colossal sum, but some French economists on the right believe even that is too low; they believe the number is far higher – 44 billion euros annually. How did Gourévitch arrive at this figure? He adds up the cost to the state of the following: free or subsidized housing for several million Muslim migrants; free medical care, which is especially expensive because of the greater incidence of congenital defects among Muslim babies, the result of societal norms that encourage cousin-marriage; free education, which includes extra language classes; family allowances (which increase with the number of children) that were originally intended to encourage French women to have more children, but it is predominantly Muslim families that now benefit, for they have the greatest number of children), and unemployment benefits for the two-thirds of Muslim migrants who remain without jobs. That adds up to the colossal sums — estimated at from 25 to 44 billion euros — that the economists calculate are the true costs of immigration.

But there is another cost that cannot be calculated, but is just as real as the kind that can: the cost of Muslim migrants to the quality of life of the indigenous French. How do we decide the “cost” to our wellbeing of being subject to five prayers, from dawn to dusk, that are electronically amplified? In summer, the earliest prayer can take place as early as 3:20 a.m. When such a prayer keeps people from sleeping, there is a great cost, even though we cannot reduce it to euros. Similarly, what is the cost to society of the fear of crimes overwhelmingly committed by Muslim migrants, whose rates of criminality far outstrip those both of the indigenous French and of other, but non-Muslim, immigrants, including those from eastern Europe and east Asia. If women are now afraid to go out alone of an evening, that is a “cost.” So is the fear of street muggings and robberies by groups of Muslims, the worry about house burglaries when French people go on vacation, the fear of rape (Muslims make up about 9% of the French population, but commit 70% of the rapes) – these all add up. The Muslim schoolchildren who are difficult to discipline, and who by their classroom behavior distract teachers from their preeminent task – to educate — are another cost. How do we calculate the cost of Muslim students who disrupt education for everyone by refusing to study certain subjects, such as the French monarchy, the history of Christianity in France, the Crusades, the Enlightenment, and the Holocaust (which should be avoided because it makes students too sympathetic to Jews, and that will never do). There is no area of French life that is not affected, for the worse, by the presence of millions of Muslims. That large-scale presence has created a situation that is far more unpleasant, expensive, and physically dangerous, for the indigenous French, than would be the case without that large-scale presence.

The cost to France that can be reduced to euros is very great. The cost to the French quality of life is also very great, though it is impossible to assign a euro value to such things as peace of mind, a sense of security, harmony and discipline in the classrooms.

The French need to create a pro-natalist policy where certain benefits – such as family allowances and subsidies to keep down the costs of nursery schools and kindergartens, as well as after-school activities, are limited to those children who are third-generation French people, which should keep most Muslim migrants from benefiting from a policy intended to encourage larger families not for everyone in France, but only for the French.

The French also need, in their immigration policies, to make the fundamental distinction between Muslim migrants, and all others. The Polish plumber, the Rumanian soccer coach, the Hindu restaurateur, the Chinese dry cleaner, are all working and paying into the pension system. They are not exploiting the French welfare state for every last benefit. After arriving in France, they soon find gainful employment. They are the kind of taxpaying immigrant France needs. And while encouraging these immigrants, the French government at the same time can discourage Muslim immigrants. Ban the electronically amplified Call to Prayer as a public nuisance. The faithful can be reminded of the Call to Prayer by their iPhone; a muezzin’s wail is not necessary. Make it harder to open new mosques, by the artful use of zoning laws, including requiring mosques to provide parking spaces for all of their visitors, based on the numbers of worshippers who arrive for Friday prayers and the khutba, so as to avoid the traffic congestion often caused by visitors to mosques in residential areas.. Proscribe the sale of halal meat because the slitting of the throat of an animal that has not first been stunned, and the slow bleeding out of that animal, constitute cruelty to animals. Prohibit the wearing of the veil in all public buildings, including all government offices and universities, because the veil makes a “political statement” and violates the French principle of “laicité.” Refuse to restrict public pools to hours for “women only.” Do not allow Muslim prayer rooms in public schools — again, invoke the need to preserve “laicité” in the public sphere. These are just some of the ways to make France end its “Islam-friendly” status and to transform itself into an “Islam-hostile” polity. This is a simple response to the manifest hostility of Islam toward infidels and infidel polities.

Finally, if large numbers of semi-skilled or even unskilled workers are needed, the French government should reach out to a labor pool it has not begun to tap: the workers of Latin America, who share a faith tradition – Catholicism — with the French. These workers are already fleeing from the impoverished Marxist dictatorships of Venezuela and Cuba, the poverty and gangs of Honduras, Guatemala, and Mexico, toward the United States, but the United States is ever less willing to take them. Let them instead be taken in by France, Italy, and other Catholic countries in Europe, where because of that shared religious background they can more easily integrate into the host society, so as to provide the semi-skilled labor force needed for jobs in construction, and other kinds of infrastructure, including massive solar energy projects that will require hundreds of thousands of installers on roofs all over France. If these workers from Latin America are brought to France, there would be no need for any Muslim migrants. And if the Islam-hostile laws I noted earlier are implemented, that will promote a re-migration of many Muslims, now in France, back to their countries of origin. Many billions of euros will be saved every year by the French government, and many heartaches caused by these migrants will trouble the French no longer.

The War on Boys and Girls

Over the years, a cause for teen angst, suicide, etc., has reportedly been the media. But there is no definitive evidence to corroborate that. In fact, every recent generation has traditionally pointed to the media or some other cultural factor as damaging to youth. In the 1920s, it was the Charleston, and in the 1940s, the bogeyman was radio crime dramas. Then in the 1950s, it was shoot-em-up westerns on TV and the advent of rock ‘n roll. But at the end of the day, most kids grew up normally.

These days cell phones and social media are supposedly culpable, but scientists still don’t know to what extent they are responsible for the rising mental health issues among teenagers and whether it is the primary cause. Alexey Makarin, Massachusetts Institute of Technology economist, opines, “It seems to be the case — like it’s a big factor, but that’s still up for debate.”

What do we know?

A report from the CDC in February found that teen girls are experiencing “record high levels of violence, sadness, and suicide risk.” The data show that 57% of U.S. teen girls felt “persistently sad or hopeless in 2021—double that of boys, representing a nearly 60% increase and the highest level reported over the past decade.” About 30% had seriously attempted suicide. These numbers are dramatically higher than they were ten years ago.

Boys are suffering too. One of the main culprits for young males’ problems is the ongoing stress on so-called toxic masculinity, where feminists and the left take normal male behavior, exaggerate it, and then vilify it.

Toxic masculinity is a counterproductive term, to say the least. Boys are unlikely to react well to the idea that there is something toxic inside them that needs to be exorcised, especially as most of them identify quite strongly with their masculinity. Almost half of men said their sex was “extremely important” to their identity.

As Brookings Institution fellow Richard Reeves reports, “Half of American men and almost a third of women (30%) now think that society ‘punishes men just for acting like men,’ according to a survey by the Public Religion Research Institute.

Who specifically is behind the problems being experienced by the young?

While Covid-related social isolation certainly exacerbated girls’ problems, things were not good before we overreacted to the pandemic. Before Covid, the reason typically given was the advancement of social media, which cut back on personal bonding, but, as noted above, that is questionable.

With boys, it’s certainly institutional. In 2019, Scientific American posted an article entitled “How to Fight Toxic Masculinity,” and the American Psychological Association declared that “traditional masculinity is psychologically harmful.” In fact, the APA is front and center in the war on boys. Christopher Ferguson, a psychology professor at Florida’s Stetson University, writes that a few years ago, the APA released practice guidelines that state, “Conforming to traditional masculinity ideology has been shown to limit males’ psychological development, constrain their behavior, result in gender role strain and gender role conflict, and negatively influence mental health and physical health.” The guidelines also claim that “traditional masculinity leads to violence.”

Who else is behind our culture’s malevolent turn toward young people?

Many school districts have decided to take over the traditional role of parents, and this, I believe, is a very important factor in the alienation of the young.

The Escondido Union School District in California is all too typical. Under the current policy, “teachers must refer to students by their preferred pronouns or gender-specific names during school hours but revert to biological pronouns and legal names when speaking with parents.” And once a teacher learns of a child’s social transitioning, he or she has an obligation to ensure that parents do not discover this.

What a policy like this does is lead a child to live a double life, splitting allegiance between school and family. Not a recipe for happiness. It’s worth noting that Escondido is anything but a one-off. In fact, this cultural rot extends beyond blue states.

In Idaho, for example, Parents Defending Education submitted 14 public records requests to school districts requesting documentation and correspondence regarding the creation of these gender policies. PDE discovered that districts were working closely with the Idaho School Boards Association to “implement policies to deliberately withhold information from parents about the gender identity of their own children.”

In Montana, Missoula County Public Schools worked with a group called “IVALUE” to propose including “members of the LGBTQIA+ community” in “all future work around diversity, equity and inclusion.”

School counselors in Mississippi’s Tupelo Public School District shared guidance with each other that encourage staff to keep parents in the dark regarding the gender identity of their children.

Needless to say, the teachers unions have been leaders in promoting the chasm between parents and their children. The National Education Association and likeminded groups have released a guide that, among many things, suggests “schools effectively keep two sets of records for students who express interest in a transgender identity—one set that is used within the school setting, and a separate set provided to parents or other entities outside the school district.”

State governments also have a role in causing pernicious rifts in families by taking over the traditional role of moms and dads. California’s AB 1184, a bill cosponsored by Planned Parenthood, which became law in 2021, is a prime example. This atrocity “prohibits insurance companies from revealing to the policyholder the ‘sensitive services’ of anyone on their policy, including minor children (starting at age 12), even though the policy owner is financially responsible for the services.” The term “sensitive services” refers to all health care services related to mental or behavioral health, sexual and reproductive health, sexually transmitted infections, substance use disorder, gender affirming care, etc. The bill doesn’t detail the kindly sounding “gender affirming care,” but as defined by the University of California, San Francisco, it’s hormone therapy and a laundry list of surgeries including vaginectomy, scrotoplasty, voice modification, etc.

Also, California’s SB 107, which became law January 1, erodes parents’ rights by allowing minor children to travel to California for trans procedures. Citing the Protect Child Health Coalition, Katy Grimes explains, “Even more shocking is the law actually authorizes parental kidnapping (when a non-custodial parent illegally takes a child from the parent who has legal custody) if the purpose of the kidnapping is to subject the child to radical gender transition procedures.”

Washington State is no better. It passed SB 5599, which also allows the state to legally take children away from their parents if they don’t consent to their child’s gender transition surgeries.

At the end of the day, it is not the schools, the media or the APA who is in charge of children’s well-being. Parents must step up and reclaim their children. Homeschool if at all possible, or send your child to a private school that shares your values.

For parents who send their children to public schools, Congress passed H.R. 5 in late March. Among other things, the bill, which prevailed in a 213-208 vote, would give parents the right to inspect the books and other reading materials in the library of their child’s school. It would enable them to know if the school operates, sponsors, or facilitates athletic programs or activities that permit an individual whose biological sex is male to participate in an athletic program or activity that is designed for individuals whose biological sex is female. The bill also enables parents to know if their child’s school allows an individual whose biological sex is male to use restrooms or changing rooms designated for individuals whose biological sex is female.

Sadly, however, H.R. 5 seems to be dead in the water; chances are slim that it will make it through our divided Senate.

The good news is that as of mid-March, proposed parental rights legislation has emerged in some 32 states, up from 18 states in 2022, according to the National Conference of State Legislatures. In some states, legislators are considering two or more pieces of such legislation. It’s worth noting, however, that not all the laws are really pro-parent. Conservative legal scholar Joanna Martin, J.D., recently published an article titled “A Massive Transfer of Power Over Children from Parents to Governments,” in which she writes that SB 49, the bill passed by the North Carolina Senate, “…transfers power over children from parents to governments. Parents’ rights consist of the privilege of being notified of decisions made respecting their children by governments, and they are granted specific rights to challenge some of the findings.”

It’s a tough time to be a parent, as many busybodies, groomers, and evildoers are fighting for the control of America’s children. As such, parents, more than ever, must do what they can to maintain responsibility for their offspring. The “It Takes a Village” mentality hasn’t worked out too well.

Attack on the Basilica of Notre-Dame in Nice, France: Islamist terrorist Brahim A. alternates between bravado and “opportunistic” amnesia; he is said to have planned an attack on prison guards together with two inmates

On October 29, 2020, at around 8.30 a.m., 21-year-old Brahim Aouissaoui enters the basilica in Nice armed with a knife with a 17 cm blade. First he attacks Nadine Devillers, a 60-year-old worshipper, leaving her practically decapitated. Then he stabs 44-year-old Franco-Brazilian Simone Barreto Silva, mother of three, who takes refuge in a restaurant before she dies, and finally 55-year-old sexton Vincent Loquès, father of two daughters.

Who is Brahim Aouissaoui?

He comes from Sfax in Tunisia and maintains contacts with followers of the Salafist ideology, at least two of whom are known to the Tunisian anti-terrorist services. An alcohol and drug user, he changed his behaviour in late 2018 and “became zealous” in his religious practice, his family and childhood friends report.
Arriving on the Italian island of Lampedusa, he is quarantined for coronavirus and leaves for Sicily on October 11. There he works for a fortnight with the “sole aim of raising the money to travel to France”, according to investigators. “I will leave tomorrow for France, the land of infidels and dogs,” he wrote to a contact person on October 25. (…)

Amnesia and feigned mental confusion?

When he wakes up in hospital, he claims to have “forgotten everything about what he did, falsely asserts that his parents are dead, and is mistaken about the membership of his siblings”.

(…) “If that had really been me in those pictures, I would recognise myself,” he becomes impatient. “Stop denying the obvious at last!”, the judge gets annoyed and highlights his “undeniable malice”.

A defence strategy?

“The systematic and opportunistic character” of his amnesia does not constitute “denial” but “a defence system that amounts to a refusal of any cooperation with justice”, according to the two psychiatric experts.

The experts’ opinion

According to the experts, Brahim Aouissaoui was addicted to alcohol and drugs for a long time and “redeemed himself through rigorism and asceticism before turning to radical commitment and then terrorist action”. His judgement at the time of the attack was neither suspended nor impaired and he has a “violent psychopathic profile”.

Final revelation from Brahim Aouissaoui.

In detention, where he had one incident after another and had become close to radicalised detainees, he also boasted of being the Nice attacker.

Two weeks after his arrival in June 2022 at Meaux prison (Seine-et-Marne), he was transferred to Beauvais (Oise) as an emergency measure, as he was suspected of planning an attack on prison guards with two other radicalised inmates.
