India: Muslim doctor murders Hindu wife for not converting to Islam after marrying her pretending to be Hindu, gets life in jail after 9-year-old testifies

In a case of love jihad from Uttar Pradesh, a court in Bareilly sentenced a doctor, Iqbal Ahmad to life imprisonment for killing his second wife, Nisha Devi, a resident of Saharanpur with the assistance of his two aides, Muhammad Yaseen and Misaryar Khan in 2021 on the basis of the testimony of his nine-year-old daughter. The minor witnessed the incident. The accused runs his clinic in Bareilly.

On October 26, 2021, the victim was discovered dead at their residence and her husband had disappeared. The dead body was taken to a nearby hospital by police. Later, the young girl revealed to the deceased’s mother and her maternal grandmother, Kaushal Devi, that her mother had been murdered by her father. Her assertion was substantiated by the autopsy report, which disclosed that Nisha had been strangled to death.

Kaushal Devi had earlier said that her daughter was being harassed at the hands of the culprit.

The perpetrator had married Nisha Devi about a decade prior by feigning to be a Hindu. “As per the files, Nisha and Iqbal had a love marriage after the latter introduced himself as ‘Dr Raju Sharma’. The wedding was solemnised in Saharanpur as per Hindu rituals. The couple then started staying in Saharanpur,” informed Sachin Jaiswal, additional district government counsel (ADGC).

He was already married but kept it a secret from her. “Nisha came to know about her husband’s identity when they moved to Meerganj in Bareilly. ‘Raju’ was actually Iqbal and he was already married. The accused then started putting pressure on her to embrace Islam, which she refused. Later she was found murdered,” he stated. His first wife and kids live in Jafarpur.

“An FIR was registered under IPC sections 302 (murder) and 34 (acts done by several persons in furtherance of common intention) along with Prohibition of Unlawful Religious Conversion Act against Iqbal and unidentified persons on the complaint of Nisha’s mother on October 28, 2021,” he mentioned.

The official added, “He was arrested three months later. During the investigation, police found that he killed Nisha with the help of his brother-in-law Mohd Yaseen and aide Misaryar Khan alias Mishra.”

Since the marriage was solemnised before the anti-conversion Act came into effect, portions of the Act were dropped when the police filed a chargesheet against the three accused in April 2022. “The statement of the nine-year-old daughter, who studies in class III, played a pivotal role in nailing the accused. She told the court that her mother was watching TV when her father and two men killed her,” he unveiled.

He proclaimed, “Seeing the heinous nature of the crime, we argued for the death penalty. The case was heard before the court of additional district and sessions judge Tabrez Ahmed, who found all three guilty under IPC sections 302 and 34.”

The pair first ran into each other during a relative’s wedding, where they fell in love and got married. They stayed in a rented house for a few days. Subsequently, it turned out that the offender is a Muslim and has 4 children from his first marriage. The shocking disclosure led to problems in their relationship. However, the two agreed to adhere to their own respective religions after reconciliation.

Notably, notorious instances of love jihad are on the rise at an alarming rate despite denials from some sections of society, including Islamists, liberals, and leftists.

Germany’s conservative AfD party has room to grow, according to new poll

All eight major polling institutes in Germany show Alternative for Germany (AfD) currently at 15 to 17 percent of the vote; however, data from the Insa polling institute also shows that the party has room to grow.

The AfD is currently the third-strongest party in the country, according to Insa, but the Insa poll shows that another 10 percent of voters say they could imagine voting for the party. This is an increase of 2 percentage points from the previous survey. If the AfD were to reach its full potential, it would win 26.5 percent of the vote.

The AfD is also unique in that it is the only party that has increased its voter potential, according to Insa. There is also a potential pool of non-voters the AfD could tap into, but these voters were not counted in the Insa survey, which was conducted on behalf of Bild newspaper. The AfD has often been said to attract non-voters, which have accounted for a sizeable share of the party’s vote in the past.

The data shows that the AfD party can most likely draw its support from FDP voters, a party known for its free-market liberal stance. Nearly half of the party, 43 percent, say they would be willing to vote for the AfD. Another 24 percent of potential voters are found within the Christian Democratic Union (CDU) and Christian Socialist Union (CSU). There is also a large pool of potential AfD voters in smaller parties that have failed to cross the 5-percent threshold and join parliament. A very small share exists in the SPD and Greens, where the combined total is only 11 percent.

The growing potential for the AfD is likely driven by a broad range of factors. Germany is facing a significant inflation and economic crisis along with a migration crisis. The Insa poll shows that 34 percent of voters describe themselves as “angry citizens” and among AfD supporters, 70 percent describe themselves that way.

“The AfD is currently catching those sections of society for whom the Union does not distinguish itself clearly enough from the traffic light coalition,” said the Insa polling firm’s chief, Hermann Binkert.

This group was particularly infuriated by Germany’s migration policy, which has seen nearly 1.5 million arrive in 2022. So far, this number shows no signs of slowing in 2023, with the government set to spend €36 billion this year alone. In the first three months of 2023, over 160,000 migrants arrived in the country.

In addition, a majority of the German public remains opposed to the planned ban on oil and gas heating, a proposal mainly championed by the Green party that could end up costing German homeowners and apartment owners billions in mandatory heating and energy efficiency upgrades over the coming years. In fact, experts indicate it will cost €9 billion annually until 2028, with the move coming at a time when Germans are facing significant inflationary pressure. The AfD remains firmly opposed to the plan.

“Inflation, coronavirus measures and Ukraine policy are also fostering an anti-establishment mood among dissatisfied voters. Many of them assume they can anger the establishment the most with a vote for the AfD,” added Binkert.

At the same time, the government, potentially fearing a surge in AfD support, has been dangling the threat of a ban on the entire AfD party.

2 Jews murdered in attack on Tunisian synagogue

At least three people were murdered in an attack outside of a synagogue in Tunisia during Lag Ba’Omer celebrations Tuesday.

A former Tunisian naval guard shot and killed a colleague and two civilians on Tuesday near the synagogue on the island of Djerba as Lag Ba’Omer celebrations were taking place there, the Tunisian Interior Ministry said, according to The Associated Press.

One of the civilians killed in the attack has been identified as a local Jewish man, while the other has been identified as an Israeli national.

The attacker was killed by security guards seeking to prevent him from entering the synagogue, the ministry said in a statement. In addition to the dead, ten people were wounded in the attack.

The assailant is a guard affiliated with the National Guard naval center in the town of Aghir on Djerba. He first killed a colleague with his service weapon and then seized ammunition and sought to reach the Ghriba synagogue, the ministry said.

When he reached the area, he opened fire on security units stationed at the synagogue, which was locked down so that those inside were kept secure while authorities investigate the motives for the attack, the ministry said.

Several hours later, police forces began evacuating the worshipers from the synagogue.

It is unclear at this time whether the two civilians who were killed were among the worshipers in the synagogue at the time of the incident.

Djerba is home to one of the last Jewish communities in the Arab world, and the synagogue is believed to date to the sixth century BCE.

In the past, thousands would flock to the synagogue for the annual Lag Ba’Omer pilgrimage. In 2013, only 1,000 pilgrims visited the synagogue amid security concerns.

Last year, hundreds of worshipers took part in the annual Lag Ba’Omer pilgrimage. This was the first time the celebrations were held since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic.

After Students Can’t Read, NYC Goes Back to “Right-Wing” Phonics

The Left, which controls the educational system, went to war against phonics, dubbing it a “right-wing” concept.

A 1985 essay in Education Week explained that, to conservative activists, “only systematic phonics, employing sound-symbol decoding, is acceptable…Reading comprehension is to be taught…[using] didactic reading materials and literal-level questions.”

By the 1990s, Nicholas Lemann reported that reading instruction had become “one of the main organizing issues for the Christian Coalition.” Legislation compelling teachers to rely on explicit phonics instruction was introduced by Republicans in many states — especially those in which the party was dominated by the Christian right. Mel and Norma Gabler, known for their successful campaigns to censor textbooks in Texas (and then elsewhere), were also outspoken on this issue, as were Cal Thomas, James Dobson, John Rosemond, and others. Pat Robertson announced that learning to read is “a breeze…if reading is taught the way God made us to talk – by syllables, by what is called phonics.”

Well if god is for it, then progressives must be against it!

For example in the US, the Whole Language Movement describes itself as a political movement and claims that it speaks for the disadvantaged. It condemns advocates of phonics for allegedly promoting a right-wing or neo-liberal agenda. Supporters of phonics are sometimes represented as closet Christian fundamentalists who use phonetics instrumentally to bolster traditional authority.

Progressive education worked as well as all leftist policies do and so New York City is hitting the brakes.

Hundreds of public schools have been teaching reading the wrong way for the last two decades, leaving an untold number of children struggling to acquire a crucial life skill, according to New York City’s schools chancellor.

Now, David C. Banks, the chancellor, wants to “sound the alarm” and is planning to force the nation’s largest school system to take a new approach.

On Tuesday, Mr. Banks announced major changes to reading instruction in an aim to tackle a persistent problem: About half of city children in grades three through eight are not proficient in reading. Black, Latino and low-income children fare even worse.

In a recent interview, Mr. Banks said that the city’s approach had been “fundamentally flawed,” and had failed to follow the science of how students learn to read.

“It’s not your fault. It’s not your child’s fault. It was our fault,” Mr. Banks said. “This is the beginning of a massive turnaround.”

Over the next two years, the city’s 32 local school districts will adopt one of three curriculums selected by their superintendents. The curriculums use evidence-supported practices, including phonics — which teaches children how to decode letter sounds — and avoid strategies many reading experts say are flawed, like teaching children to use picture clues to guess words.

I guess the right-wing is taking over New York City schools.

Hundreds of elementary schools in 2019 used a popular balanced literacy curriculum from Teachers College known as Units of Study, a report by two local news outlets, Chalkbeat and The City, shows. The curriculum has received failing marks from one major organization that rates program quality. But many school leaders value its attention to developing children’s passion for books, as well as its robust professional development offerings for teachers.

That’s great for teachers, not so great for students. But progressives decided that schools mainly exist for the sake of teachers which is why they closed them entirely to students in 2020 while continuing to pay teachers.

For decades, Lucy Calkins has determined how millions of children learn to read. An education professor, she has been a pre-eminent leader of “balanced literacy,” a loosely defined teaching philosophy.

In a classic Calkins classroom, teachers read aloud from children’s literature; students then chose “just right” books, which fit their interests and ability. The focus was more on stories — theme, character, plot — less on sounding out words.

Her curriculum, “Units of Study,” is built on a vision of children as natural readers, and it has been wildly popular and profitable. She estimates that a quarter of the country’s 67,000 elementary schools use it. At Columbia University’s Teachers College, she and her team have trained hundreds of thousands of educators.

But in recent years, parents and educators who champion the “science of reading” have fiercely criticized Professor Calkins and other supporters of balanced literacy. They cite a half-century of research that shows phonics — sound it out exercises that are purposefully sequenced — is the most effective way to teach reading, along with books that build vocabulary and depth.

With brain science steadily adding to that evidence, there is a sense — at least for many in the education establishment — that the debate over early reading instruction may be ebbing. Phonics is ascendant.

More than a dozen states have passed laws pushing phonics, and Denver and Oakland, Calif., have moved to drop Professor Calkins’s program. In one of her largest markets, New York City, a dyslexic mayor and his schools chancellor are urging principals to select other curriculums.

So after decades of resistance, Professor Calkins has made a major retreat. A rewrite of her reading curriculum, from kindergarten to second grade, includes, for the first time, daily structured phonics lessons to be used with the whole class.

The Calkins approach is great for middle-class two-parent white or Asian families. It’s not going to work for your average urban public school student who’s got a narrow window of a few years of early elementary to pick up basic skills before he tunes out in one form or another. Phonics is a more reliable approach and one that doesn’t assume a grounding that doesn’t exist and isn’t student-led. The idea of student-led classrooms is a progressive approach that’s been a complete disaster.

The New York Times is however pushing Wit and Wisdom which is a poisonously woke curriculum, pushing racist and sexual content on children. (It doesn’t offer phonics). So just because the city has made a partial course correction, don’t expect things to really change.

If parents are not told that their children are being transsexualized, why would they need to know when they are raped on video during class?

Concerned by changes in the 6-year-old’s behavior, her parents asked the right questions to learn what happened.

After approaching the school, the staff revealed that they knew.

Now that this has gotten out to the public, Joe Biden’s FBI is stepping in. That would be the same leftist apparatus that terrorized parents for speaking out at schoolboard meetings about the depraved sexualization of their children by government schools.

Plainview parents say it isn’t an isolated incident:

According to [a] Plainview South Elementary parent, multiple parents and guardians of students at that campus have made reports regarding their kids being pressured to perform sexual acts. …

“There have been multiple moms coming out about stuff that has been happening all year and nothing is being done about it,” a parent said…

Our society weans kids on ubiquitous hardcore pornography (with the UN’s approval), bombards them with perverted sex ed from kindergarten, then lets them run riot in the classroom. What other outcome were we expecting?

In what has become a surging nationwide epidemic, teachers, counselors, and other staffers — both men and an increasing number of women — are targeting students for sexual gratification.

Schools have been repurposed and now serve largely as a means for recruiting children into LGBTism. This is bound to affect what sort of people go into teaching.

Bad enough we are forced to pay for public schools. Worse still would be subjecting children to them.

Dutch government to stop funding accommodation for failed asylum seekers

The Dutch government has announced it will stop funding emergency accommodation for failed asylum seekers from next year, broadcaster NOS reported on Thursday.

In a rare restrictive measure by liberal Mark Rutte’s cabinet, the National Aliens Facility (LVV) will be cut from the budget despite local opposition. LVV provides funding to five key local authorities to house migrants who do not leave the Netherlands after their asylum applications are refused.

“Due to the increased costs of migration, choices have to be made,” explained Eric Van der Burg, the justice and security minister also responsible for asylum policy.

It will mean that the five major councils of Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Utrecht, Groningen and Eindhoven will lose the emergency funding starting in 2024, a move local officials warn will result in hundreds of rejected asylum seekers living on city streets.

“It is very important that we keep this form of accommodation, particularly because of the public safety aspects,” said Rutger Groot Wassink, responsible for social affairs and shelter in the city of Amsterdam. He claimed it was “nuts” to trim the €30 million budget for emergency housing at a time when the government has allocated an additional €8.7 billion to combat the migrant crisis enveloping the country.

Vluchtelingenwerk, a pro-refugee organization, claimed the move would see up to 5,000 failed asylum seekers still living illegally in the Netherlands turned out onto the streets.

The decision has caused conflict within the five-party Dutch coalition government. Two dissenting minor parties, D66 and the Christian Union, both opposed the move to halt funding. They claim the move is a breach of an agreement reached on funding for migrants that facilitated the formation of the coalition government, an agreement that would have not just retained the program but expanded it nationwide.

“This arrangement provides a roof for undocumented migrants and safety on the streets. We must continue to support municipalities that are already committed to regular asylum reception,” said D66 MP Anne-Marijke Podt.

“Together with municipalities, this cabinet must simply implement the agreements for a nationwide network, precisely because that is now so important for municipalities, public order and decent asylum policy,” added Christian Union MP Don Ceder.

Not all are unhappy about the move, however, and the Dutch government will find support for it from members of his own VVD party, as well as from the PVV led by conservative Geert Wilders.

Wilders has long been critical of the Dutch government’s handling of the migrant crisis, recently claiming that “this cabinet is not able to stop the asylum tsunami.”

“They are helping our country go to hell, and we have to stand up against it,” he added.

Further criticism was found among the anti-mass migration JA21 party, whose leader Joost Eerdmans said: “Rutte promised to reduce the asylum influx, but instead an asylum record threatens this year. The Netherlands is in an asylum crisis, but it is heading for an asylum disaster.”

The House of Representatives is scheduled to debate the country’s future asylum policy and the increased allocated budget proposed by the government on Wednesday.

Chants of ‘Allahu Akbar’ and ‘Nara-e-Takbeer’ grip Pakistan: Protests erupt in different cities after Imran Khan’s arrest; Pakistan Army HQ stormed

Pakistan on fire after the arrest of former PM Imran Khan

Pakistan is on fire following the arrest of Imran Khan by Pakistani Rangers outside the Islamabad High Court (IHC) earlier in the day. The former Prime Minister and PTI chief’s supporters have taken to the streets to protest against his arrest. According to reports, the large-scale protests emerged after the party appealed to the people to hit the streets. 

The protests have reportedly spread to various cities including Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Lahore, Karachi, Gujranwala, Faisalabad, Multan, Peshawar and Mardan. Angry crowds of protesters, presumably PTI supporters, chanting Allahu Akbar and Nara-e-Takbeer have lined up on the streets of Pakistan, going on a rampage against Army establishments to protest against Khan’s arrest.

Videos have emerged showing Imran Khan supporters, including women, throwing stones and beating up police personnel and vandalising several important government buildings and residences of Army officials.

Journalist Aditya Raj Kaul shared a video showing hundreds of angry PTI supporters breaking into the Pakistan Army headquarters in Rawalpindi. The protestors can be seen breaking barricades and iron gates to forcefully enter the high-security area.

In the same video shared by Defence analyst Abhijit Iyer-Mitra, the mob can be seen raising “Naara-e-Takbeer, Allah-hu-Akbar” slogans as they are into the Army headquarters.

Kaul shared another video where PTI supporters attacked the Pakistan Spy Agency ISI headquarters after Imran Khan’s arrest.

In another video shared by Defence analyst Abhijit Iyer-Mitra, several irate protestors can be seen vandalising the residence of an army officer in the Lahore Cantt area. 

Iyer shared another video showing protestors attacking Pakistani police personnel with sticks and rods.

The PTI supporters have reportedly set the Lahore Corps commander’s house on fire.

Videos showing the irate mob setting fire to vehicles and government properties including the Rangers post in Karachi also emerged on social media.

In another video, Imran Khan’s supporters can be seen pelting stones and clashing with the police in Karachi’s Shahrah-e-Faisal area.

The protests against the arrest of former Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan turned gruesome after PTI supporters set fire to a police vehicle in Karachi. The police van was reportedly carrying prisoners. 

The Army and police in Pakistan have been resorting to water canons and tear gas to disperse Imran Khan’s angry supporters who have been creating a ruckus in several parts of the country. In the midst of all the chaos, reports are emerging that four boys were hit with bullets in the ensuing mayhem.

Section 144 of the Code of Criminal Procedure has been imposed in Islamabad.

The protest erupted after former Pakistan Prime Minister and PTI chief Imran Khan was arrested from outside the Islamabad High Court (IHC) by Pakistani Rangers. Imran Khan had reportedly gone to the Islamabad HC to seek bail in multiple FIRs registered against him.

According to local media, the PTI chairman was taken in a black Vigo by the law enforcement agency.

The PTI chief reportedly has been arrested in the Al-Qadir Trust case of the National Accountability Bureau as well as the Toshakhana case.

Watch out: scientists have discovered that oceans affect icebergs.  Only deep thinkers could come up with that.  I bet the sun, tides, jet streams, and other natural phenomena also affect icebergs, just as they affect everything else. 

It’s as if icebergs have never melted before this last ten to twenty years of “steady global warming.”

Greenland Ice Sheet melting faster than previously thought, scientists say

Scientists have determined that in the last 10 to 20 years of steady global warming, the ocean has played an “important role” in the evolution of glaciers, Eric Rignot, professor of system science at the University of California, Irvine, and author of the study, told ABC News

I wonder what caused Greenland to be around the same temperature 1,000 years ago as today. 

Here is a hint: it is not humans, cars, CO2, gas stoves, coal, oil, cows farting, or anything else these green pushers seek to outlaw.

Now, what caused Greenland to be so much warmer two million years ago than today?  As a betting man, it is a pretty sure bet that the icecaps in Greenland and the arctic were much thinner than today, and somehow the Earth survived.

This section of Greenland is now a polar desert, but the new research shows that wasn’t always the case. More than 2 million years ago, the summer and winter average minimum temperatures of 10 degrees Celsius and 17 degrees C, respectively, were more than 10 degrees C warmer than present day.

As always, most of the media just regurgitate whatever they are told without asking any questions.  It is a shame that they are so willing to destroy the poor and middle class, along with industries that directly and indirectly employ tens of millions and greatly improve our quality and length of life. 

They must be proud that they are major participants in keeping underdeveloped countries poor and killing their citizens so much younger than countries that use natural resources. 

This article and almost all articles on climate change are meant to indoctrinate, instead of inform, to get people to capitulate to the radical leftist agenda.
