According to the Polish Border Guard, five pro-refugee activists violated the “No entry” sign on a part of the road between Poland and Belarus. The individuals, who are being defend by the Border Group NGO, refused to be given spot fines, and as a result, they will now head to court.

The spokesperson of the Polish border force stated that officers responsible for electronic surveillance of the border area noticed several people on the Polish side of the border illegally passing packages onto the Belarusian side of the frontier. A border patrol was sent to the area and identified three Poles, two Germans and a Swiss citizen. 

On-site investigations revealed that five of the individuals had violated the border crossing. In the course of the investigation, it was discovered that a 26-year-old German woman had committed the same offense at the border before. As a result, she was served with a five-year exclusion order from entering Polish territory, the Polish Border Guard wrote on Twitter.

Since all the individuals concerned refused to accept a fine of 500 zloty (€106), the matter will have to go to court. The activists are receiving support from Border Group NGO, which organizes humanitarian aid on the Belarusian border. The suspects apparently did not make any complaint about the way they had been treated on the spot, but later took to social media to allege that they had been improperly treated by border guards.

They alleged that the manner they had been handled by border guards was “yet another attempt at intimidating activists” and that they had suffered “verbal abuse” and “xenophobia.”

The NGO alleges that the expulsion of the German activist was illegal, as removing EU citizens from Polish territory can only take place when national security or public health is at issue. The activists claimed that assisting migrants is not a threat to Polish security and that refusing fines from the border guards is the right of all individuals who prefer the matter to be settled in court. 

The Polish Border Guard points out that entry into territory closest to the border has been limited by decisions taken by the territorial administration due to the crisis situation at the border and that passing packages across the border is forbidden.

These regulations are displayed clearly on the border and the penalty for violating them is 500 zloty.

A Swedish court of appeal has acquitted a man convicted of raping a ten-year-old girl because the girl used a childish term for vagina during her testimony, claiming the meaning of the word was unclear.

Many have expressed outrage over the court’s ruling, which took place last weekend and saw the Court of Appeal acquit the 50-year-old man in the case after he had been found guilty of raping the ten-year-old girl in 2022 by the Halmstad District Court and sentenced to a paltry three years in prison.

The Court of Appeal noted that the ten-year-old used the term “snippa” in her testimony, a slang term for the female genitalia among children, suggesting it was unclear if the girl meant she was talking about her genitals or not, SVT reports.

Prosecutor Eva-Lotta Swahn expressed outrage over the appeal court ruling, saying she was upset by the verdict, while Agneta Carlquist, who served as the victim’s counsel, stated: “It shouldn’t be a guessing game. It has serious consequences when the child is not allowed to explain themselves. There are judgments in the past where the word snippa is used and accepted.”

Former chief prosecutor Sven-Erik Alhem also spoke out on the ruling, saying the case should be taken to a high court: ” I think it would be extremely valuable and almost necessary for the prosecutor general to try to get the case to the Supreme Court.”

But Court of Appeal judge Åke Thimfors, who was one of the judges in the appeal case, defended the ruling, saying: “It wasn’t possible for us to ask her any follow-up questions about what she had experienced.”

Thimfors was also questioned on whether he understood the outrage over the verdict, but sneered that the court has “careful deliberations.”

“We go through the evidence so carefully. We understand that it is important, not only for the victim but also for the perpetrator. There is a lot at stake,” he claimed.

Oisín Cantwell, a columnist for the newspaper Aftonbladet, called the entire process strange, saying that it was the most bizarre verdict he had ever read and questioning why the court had consulted a dictionary rather than asking the victim what the word meant.

He claimed that perhaps because the word “snippa” as a term for female genitalia is relatively new and that the average age of the judges was over 60, they may have not known its meaning, but added that other testimony made it more clear the child had been raped.

Sheila Smerekova’s reasoning for this: she had been sexually molested in her childhood and had also been a victim of Islamist human trafficking.
The Special Criminal Court in Banská Bystrica, Slovakia, on Wednesday sentenced Sheila Smerekova, who desecrated the Koran years ago, to three years in prison, parameter.sk reported today.

The Slovak’s alleged “crime” it that in 2017 she made a video of herself tearing a page out of the Koran and then wiping her buttocks with it and subsequently setting everything on fire. She also called for a fight against Muslims.

At the hearing, Smerekova admitted the action: she had bought the Koran in a foreign bookshop, stressing that she had not made the video in Slovakia. So although she did not deny anything, she pleaded not guilty because she would not have harmed anyone by doing so.

In her defence, she stated: She had been sexually molested in her childhood and had also been a victim of human trafficking. She had been detained in a refugee camp in Finland where she was harassed by Muslims. Before the judge, she described these people as “parasites” who sold their own children and engaged in drug deals.

The Slovak judge convicted the young woman of an extreme crime and of making dangerous threats, for which she was sentenced to three years in prison.

The Slovak authorities’ reasoning went like this: In times of terrorism, such a provocation could pose a serious threat to Slovakia.

Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni has cautioned against the gender ideology growing in popularity among European liberals, warning the movement will ultimately be “to the detriment of women” who will become “its first victims.”

In an interview with Grazia, an Italian weekly women’s magazine, the Italian premier dismissed the claims by the progressive movement that gender is a social construct that is fluid in nature, insisting it is determined solely by biological sex.

“Today, the unilateral right to proclaim oneself a woman or a man is being claimed, beyond any path — surgical, pharmacological or even administrative. Male and female are rooted in the body, and this is an incontrovertible fact,” Meloni told the magazine.

She warned that any suggestion to the contrary is an ideology that will ultimately infringe on women’s rights and women’s security.

“Today, to be a woman, one claims that it is enough to proclaim oneself as such; in the meantime, work is being done to erase a woman’s body, its essence, its difference. Women are the first victims of gender ideology. Many feminists think so too.”

The Brothers of Italy leader lamented the fact that women often “don’t believe they can compete with men and end up competing with each other, convinced that there is a lower level to which to relegate their skills.” She revealed her belief that “women have a great autonomous strength that must be freed from the thousand obstacles that cage it, but also from the taboos of which women themselves often become victims.”

Meloni’s words were appreciated by some members of the LGBT community, including Cristina Gramolini, the president of ArciLesbica, an association of lesbians and pro-lesbian groups.

“I agree with Meloni on the fact that giving a man the possibility of declaring himself a woman, beyond any surgical, pharmacological and administrative path, damages women,” Gramolini said, as reported in Italian newspaper Il Giornale.

“I agree with the fact that I do not believe one can skip the sexual body, i.e., a woman cannot be a male by self-declaration alone, this would harm reality and women, for example in women’s sports or in equal opportunity policies.”

Gramolini did, however, say she disagrees on the matter of gender fluidity, insisting that men and women do not need to act as such and can act “over time in different ways,” as “masculinity and femininity are not natural” unlike the female and male bodies.

Meloni has long claimed to be a staunch advocate of women’s rights and came under pressure from some feminist groups following her electoral success when some Italian media reported she wanted to abolish abortion laws.

Speaking in September after her election win, the Italian premier reaffirmed her support for abortion, insisting she wanted abortion laws to work for women in a bid to promote greater family values in the future.

“I do not intend to abolish law 194 … I want to apply law 194 to add a right: If today there are women who find themselves forced to have an abortion, for example, because they have no money to raise that child or because they feel alone, I want to give them a chance to make a different choice, without taking anything away from those who want to choose abortion,” Meloni said last year.

Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban has warned that some western states could soon send troops to Ukraine. He also criticized the fact that the EU sanctions against Russia had cost Hungarian taxpayers tens of billions of euros.

Viktor Orban expressed “serious concern” that “all of Europe is slipping step by step into war” as EU countries are sending tanks to Ukraine and are now even considering supplying fighter jets. “If things continue like this, there will soon be countries that might want to send troops to Ukraine,” he said in the Hungarian parliament on Monday.

He stressed that his government insisted on a peaceful settlement of the Ukraine conflict and called on the parliamentary parties to support this position. The West, according to Orban, wants to “drag Hungary into this war”.

He also stressed once again that he remains opposed to the European Union’s anti-Russian sanctions, particularly in the energy sector. Orban reminded his audience that restrictions on fuel supplies led to a dramatic increase in prices, and Hungary’s spending on energy sources increased by €10 billion last year.

“Brussels took this money out of Hungarians’ pockets with the help of sanctions,” Orban said.

Gender propaganda encourages pedophilia and child pornography

In Hungary, too, the subject of child pornography has been in the public spotlight in recent weeks. Among other things, it became known that a homosexual teacher had a sexual relationship with a 15-year-old student. The teacher had also boasted about this via TikTok.

Two years ago, the case of the Hungarian ambassador in Peru, Gabor Kaleta, caused a sensation when 19 000 images with pedophile content were found on his laptop. As a result, the government passed a package of laws that tightened the legal protection of children.

Orban pointed out in parliament on Monday that the number of child pornography offenses in Hungary had increased rapidly in recent years. He stressed that his government was pursuing a zero-tolerance policy on pedophilia.

According to Orban, the worrying trend towards child pornography and pedophilia is a result of the LMBTQ movement’s “gender propaganda”. And further: “Even if the whole world goes mad, even if Brussels excuses the inexcusable, Hungary should remain normal”.

On 27th February 2023, a court in Malegaon in the Nashik district of Maharashtra ordered a convict of a road accident dispute to offer namaz five times a day and plant trees. It is notable that the crime he committed was punishable by imprisonment, still, the court has ordered him to plant trees and offer namaz instead of putting him behind the bars.

Magistrate Tejwant Singh Sandhu noted in his order that provisions of the Probation of Offenders Act granted powers to a magistrate to release a convict after admonition or appropriate warning to ensure he or she does not repeat the offence. The court said in the order, “According to me, giving appropriate warning means, to give an understanding that the crime had been committed, the accused has been proven guilty and he remembers the same so that he does not repeat the offence again.”

The convict in this case, Rauf Khan, aged 30, was arrested in 2010 for allegedly attacking and injuring a person after a vehicle accident skirmish. While convicting Khan in the case, the court observed that during the entire trial, Khan stated that he did not offer regular namaz. As a result, the court ordered him to perform namaz five times a day for 21 days beginning February 28, plant two trees on the Sonapura Mosque grounds, and care for the plants.

The court in the order said that since the offence was committed near the Sonapura Masjid premises, it would be appropriate for Khan to plant the trees there. The court appointed the Agriculture Officer of Malegaon is appointed as Special Probation Officer to supervise Khan during this period. The officer has been authorised to use police force if it becomes necessary. The court also ordered to send a copy of the judgement to the Iman of Sonapura Masjid in Malegaon to ensure that the order is complied with.

Rauf Khan was charged under Indian Criminal Code Sections 323 (voluntarily causing harm), 325 (voluntarily causing grievous hurt), 504 (intentional insult to cause a breach of peace), and 506 (intentional insult to provoke breach of peace) (criminal intimidation). He was found guilty by the court under IPC section 323 and was acquitted of other charges.

Section 323 of the IPC carries the punishment of imprisonment of up to one year, or a fine of up to Rs 1000, or both.

It is notable that Malegaon in the Nashik district is a Muslim-majority city. It is more known for the Malegaon bomb blast case. The Malegaon court ordering a criminal to perform religious duties instead of punishment has caused people to raise their eyebrows.

A proposal to erect a pagan “Amazonian love god” statue near a cathedral in the English city of Wakefield has drawn the ire of residents who claim its placement mocks Christianity.

At least three residents of the city have formally complained over the plan to place the sculpture, one of five pieces of art funded by the government with a million pounds of taxpayer cash, near the city’s medieval-era cathedral, which belongs to the Church of England.

“I strongly object to this piece of sculpture being placed in the cathedral precinct and in particular to its sitting so close to the cathedral itself,” one of the objectors said, the local Wakefield Express newspaper reports.

“How can you possibly think that the erection of a Sun God opposite the central place of Christian worship in the city and district, could be acceptable?” they said and added, “It is at best insensitive and at worst a deliberate attempt to mock Christianity, the cathedral and all it stands for. Is this a precedent?”

Another stated that the statue being placed so close to the cathedral “would completely mock the Christian faith in every way.”

The sculpture was supposedly inspired to conservationist and naturalist Charles Waterton, who opened the first nature reserve in the world near Wakefield in the 19th century.

Another objector, however, noted that Waterton himself was a devout Christian and therefore would not have approved of placing the pagan statue in the vicinity of the cathedral.

The complaints over the sculpture come as four pupils from a local school in Wakefield, aged around 14, were suspended this week after slightly tearing and smudging a copy of the Qur’an that had been purchased by one of the boys.

The slight damage to the holy book was taken so seriously that a local imam demanded members of the local Muslim community attend a meeting with the principal of the school, police and one of the parents of the boys.

“The slightest bit of disrespect is not accepted, and it is not going to be tolerated at any point, in any city, in any country by any Muslim, and that’s the fact of the matter,” the imam said.

One of the parents, a woman who stated her son is autistic, wore a headscarf during the meeting and profusely apologised, claiming her son had been subjected to multiple death threats.

Treat human life as anything less than sacred, and humanity is rapidly dehumanized.

Canada’s MAiD, like all medical homicide programs, is the metaphorical foot in the door, an obstinate wedge, breaking the seal of a once-closed divider.  Or we call it what it is (genocide), and MAiD is like an axe-wielding Jack Nicholson in The Shining.

For context, in 2016, the year “assisted suicide” became legal, the number of MAiD deaths was 1,018.  Five years later, the 2021 data showed that number at 10,064.  This is a rounded 889% increase.  (This datum hails from a government report on the program, which can be accessed here.)  But there was also something else that stood out about the 2021 tally, entirely unsettling: it was the first year that MAiD executioners were legally permitted to kill those whose death was not likely to occur in the “foreseeable” future.  They label this group as “non-RFND.”  In 2021, those deaths accounted for 2.2% of the total number.

Two days ago, Harbingers Daily published a report by David Fiorazo, which opened with this passage:

A Canadian Parliamentary committee is recommending lawmakers legalize euthanasia for sick and disabled children or those in Canada’s child welfare system. They think those whose deaths are what they consider “reasonably foreseeable” should be able to end their own lives.

Even more horrific is the fact they want children to make the decision without parental consent.

So, if we are to take any cues from historical precedent, we know that if passed, we’ve got about five years until leftist lawmakers legalize the murders of children without a “reasonably foreseeable” death, even if (and when) the youngins lack parental consent.  Seeing as mainstream American leftism is not yet there, I’d love to have a groupthink Democrat with a moral superiority complex explain how it would “never” go that far here, then start the timer and watch in real time as the left drifts farther and farther left.
