Pakistan: Nine security personnel killed, 13 injured after a suicide bomber attacked a police truck in Balochistan

On Monday, March 6, nine security personnel were killed and at least thirteen others were wounded during a bomb blast in southwest Pakistan. According to reports, the incident took place in Balochistan province when the officers were returning to the provincial capital Quetta.

An alleged suicide bomber rammed a motorcycle into a police truck causing the blast. So far, no one has claimed responsibility for the attack.

Confirming the incident, Kachhi Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Mahmood Notezai said that those killed in the blast belonged to the Balochistan Constabulary (BC), a department of the provincial police force that provides security at important events and in sensitive areas, including jails.

“The constabulary van was on its way back to Quetta from Sibi when an explosion occurred on the Kambri bridge in the area bordering the Sibi and Kachhi districts,” Dawn quoted the official as saying.

Following the blast, Quetta and Sibi are on high alert. The area, meanwhile, has been cordoned off and a search operation is underway, officials said.

Regular suicide bomb attacks in Pakistan

Notably, the incident came a day after a security official was killed and eight others were injured after a vehicle was targeted in a bomb attack in Gwadar, a port city in the province. Balochistan Liberation Front, a group working for Balchistan’s independence from Pakistan’s occupation, had claimed responsibility for the attack.

Prior to this, on February 26, 2023, four people were killed and fourteen others were wounded in a blast in Barkhan district in Balochistan province. “The improvised explosive device was planted in a motorbike which exploded at around 10 am in the morning,” assistant commissioner Khadim Bhangar Barkhan had said.

The incident occurred a day after an improvised explosive device (IED) exploded in Balochistan’s Khuzdar district while police officers were patrolling the region, leaving two policemen dead and another injured.

Similarly, on January 30, 2023, a blast took place inside the Peshawar Police Lines mosque resulting in the death of at least 28 people. Around 150 were reportedly injured in the blast.

OpIndia had reported that a suicide bomber was present in the front row during the prayers. He detonated the device and as a result, the roof of the mosque collapsed. 

Shortly after the attack, the Islamist terror outfit Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) claimed responsibility for the bombing.

UK Home Secretary ‘Concerned’ Over Suspension of Boys for Mild Damage to Qur’an – Police are calling it a ‘hate incident’

According to the Express, UK Home Secretary Suella Braverman is “very concerned” over the recent suspension of four schoolboys at Wakefield’s Kettlethorpe High School for an alleged “hate incident” involving the Qur’an. The innocent boys were treated like criminals for slight, accidental damage to a Qur’an, “leaving the children open to threats of physical violence as a result.”

As Islam becomes more emboldened, there is always violence. Included among the accused children is a now traumatized autistic boy. Unfortunately, rather than defend her son, his mom has brainwashed into believing that he did something wrong, or simply intimidated into saying so. The autistic boy’s mother should be outraged by the treatment of her son over his accidental damage to a Qur’an. As British authorities take leave of their senses, Christians are being murdered everywhere, and infidel women are being savaged, all in the name of Islam. While the autistic boy suffered abuse by a system — now bowing to the whims of Islamic supremacists — his mother unwittingly apologizes to her son’s abusers:

The mother of the 14-year-old autistic boy told a news conference in a local mosque that she knew what her son did was “incredibly disrespectful” but insisted he did not have any “malicious intent”….

In the video, which has received more than 1.5 million views on Twitter, she went on to say her son did not understand “how sacred” the Quran is and that “he is utterly mortified”….

“He has received death threats, he has received threats that he will be beaten up if he goes back to school. He is absolutely terrified.”

News flash: the Qur’an is only sacred to Muslims, just as the New Testament is only sacred to Christians, the Hebrew Bible to Jews and Christians, the Veda to Hindus, the Tripitakas to Buddhists, the Granth to Sikhs, etc. Legislation in free societies does not cover hurt feelings, although special interest lobbies very much want to see such laws.

Braverman should be more than just “very concerned.” Most important is the question of what Braverman intends to do about the “deadly intimidation campaign” against the targeted children, and the encroachment by Islamic supremacists into Britain, which is now being overtly transformed into a state that enforces Sharia blasphemy laws.

Kettlethorpe High School staff in Wakefield went further than calling the police. They groveled to the Muslim community:

This morning, we met with our local Muslim community leaders, local councillors and police to share all the information we currently know, the action taken and the immediate steps we have taken to reinforce the values and behaviour we expect from every member of this school community to ensure that all religions are respected

The pathetic pandering by the dhimmis of Kettlethorpe displays woeful ignorance, which has aided the Muslims involved in leading Britain down a dangerous path. It also sends a message of welcome to jihadists. The staff speaks about “all religions” being respected, but the truth is that no other religion reacts to insults (and perceived insults) in a manner that far too many Muslims do. Robert Spencer asks:

If a Bible had been taken to school and suffered “a slight tear to the cover and smears of dirt on some of the pages,” would the students involved have been suspended despite having no malicious intent, and given lessons in the respect they should give to the book? Would the cops have been called in?

UK police in this case assumed the role of Sharia police.

It is no secret that this hyper-reaction to insults is unique to Islam. Such reactions should be confined to Sharia-adherent countries. They should not be tolerated in the UK or any Western country. There is adequate documentation of the fact that Islam aims to spread Sharia everywhere, whether by dawah or by the sword. Terror has been cast into the hearts of disbelievers in the West (cf. Qur’an 8:12), with citizens now walking on eggshells as they submit to Islam, in the same manner in which citizens of Sharia states are forced to do.

The only chance left to save the British government (as well as that of every Western country) is to stop putting Islam above every other religion and stop yielding to the absurd demands of Islamic special interest groups. This should be a first order of business for the “very concerned” Suella Braverman and any leader who supports freedom.

Islam is supremacist at its core, and its leaders aggressively voice their expectations in every country, while the adherents of other religions practice their faiths quietly in peace. Meanwhile, no one tells members of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation how to run day-to-day business in Islamic countries.

Equality in the West no longer exists. It urgently needs to be restored. The creeping Sharia, once dismissed as a “conspiracy theory,” has advanced so far that it can no longer be said to be creeping. It is in your face.

Far-left riots in support of jailed anarchist leader leave Turin in ruins

Far-left protestors wreaked havoc in the Italian city of Turin on Saturday as they demonstrated their support for jailed anarchist Alfredo Cospito by attacking police, smashing shop windows, and defacing the city’s buildings and memorials.

At least two police officers were injured in the riot, while 37 vandals were arrested, including some who had traveled from Germany and France, according to the Ansa news outlet.

The protest began on Piazza Solferino and soon turned violent as several hundred demonstrators marched through the city’s streets.

Footage of the riot shows scores of anarchists in balaclavas setting trash cans on fire, damaging traffic lights and road signs, smashing bus stop and car windows, and leaving graffiti daubed across a number of city buildings stretching for approximately a kilometer.

Police equipped with riot gear attempted to break up the demonstration with tear gas and a water cannon.

Paint was also thrown over the Pontifical Shrine of Our Lady of the Consolation, one of the city’s holiest landmarks.

The riot was in support of Alfredo Cospito, the convicted leader of the Informal Anarchist Federation (FAI) who has been on hunger strike in an Italian prison since October to protest the state invoking the Article 41-bis prison regime upon his incarceration.

The hard prison regime is usually reserved for convicted terrorists, mafia bosses, and drug traffickers where authorities suspect further illicit activities could be orchestrated by an individual from prison. It restricts the rights of an inmate by cutting off all communication with other prisoners, prohibiting the use of a telephone, banning prison visits, and prohibiting them from receiving parcels.

“I express my firmest condemnation for the acts of violence that took place in Turin,” said Lorenzo Fontana, the speaker of Italy’s lower house on Saturday evening. “To the police officers who were injured, to the citizens, and to those who have been affected by the vandalism of the demonstrators, I express my deepest solidarity and closeness.”

Chiara Appendino, former mayor of Turin, said of the riots, “This is not the manifestation of a thought, it is intolerable and uncivilized guerrilla warfare. My full solidarity is with the citizens who suffered it and with the injured policemen.”

‘African Type’ Man Wanted for Paris Church Desecration Allegedly Vandalised Another Church

Police in Paris are searching for an “African type” man accused of vandalising and desecrating a Roman Catholic church in central Paris, who they say has a prior history of church attacks.

The damage to the Church of Saint-Eustache (photo), one of the largest in the French capital and located in the 1st arrondissement (district), was caused on Thursday, with Yves Trocheris, priest of the Oratory, notifying the public of the attack on Instagram.

According to Father Trocheris, the suspect broke protective glass at the altar of the church as daily Mass was being conducted at a chapel within the church at around 12:30 p.m. in the early afternoon.

“This altar is at the heart of the church as Christ is at the heart of our gatherings and of the rich life of our parish community. Its desecration — since that is the name of the violence it suffered — touches us deeply. The witnesses of the scene were very affected and we are very affected along with them, ” Father Trocheris wrote.

According to a report from broadcaster CNews, the main suspect in the case is an “African type” man with short hair and standing at a height of around 6 foot 2 inches tall. A hand-drawn portrait was provided by a sacristan to police as he had observed the man fleeing the church.

The suspect is also believed to have vandalised the Church of Saint-François-Xavier on February 28th. The damage to the church is said to have been similar, and fingerprints were recovered by police at the scene.

The attacks are just the latest this year in Paris and come after attempted arsons in January in which two churches were targetted within a period of several days.

The Notre-Dame-de-Fatima Roman Catholic church in Paris’ 19th arrondissement was attacked on January 17th and again on the 22nd, while the Church of Saint-Martin-des-Champs in the 10th arrondissement was also attacked by a suspect attempting to set fires.

“Video surveillance attests that a man came shortly before 5 am and started [the fire] using fuel brought purposely, probably petrol,” Father Stéphane-Paul Bentz of the Church of Saint-Martin-des-Champs said.

Church attacks and other anti-Christian attacks, including attacks and murders of clergy and parishioners, have become increasingly prominent during President Emmanuel Macron’s years as French leader.

A report from 2019 claimed that as many as three churches were being attacked across France per day on average.

Why is Joe Biden really skipping Charles III’s coronation?

Joe Biden will almost certainly not attend the coronation of King Charles III. The official reason is that he is making a trip to Ireland that simply can’t be canceled. The media have focused on two reasons he won’t be there: (1) Eisenhower didn’t attend so there’s no tradition for presidents to attend, and (2) Biden hates the British. I think there are two more likely reasons: (1) Charles III’s coronation is an event without cachet, and (2) it’s impossible for Biden to withstand the rigors of the long coronation ceremony and any pre- and post-ceremony events. Indeed, my money is on the last reason being the real reason.

The top-line story is straightforward:

It is unlikely President Joe Biden will attend King Charles’ coronation in May, a source said.

A source told the Telegraph that it was ‘unlikely’ that Biden, 80, would attend the May 6 coronation as he is expected to make a trip to Ireland for the 25th anniversary of the Good Friday Agreement just a few weeks prior.

So a trip to Ireland weeks before the coronation prevents Biden from attending the first British coronation in 70 years. Does that sound likely?

Several papers reporting on Biden’s probable absence have noted that General Eisenhower did not attend Queen Elizabeth II’s coronation in June 1953. This theory is that American presidents don’t attend British coronations. Maybe, yes; maybe, no.

A second reason the media are giving for Biden’s coronation snub is his known disdain for the British as the reason:

Biden has spoken openly about his Irish family’s disdain for England and the British monarchy in his memoir, claiming that his mother once refused to sleep in a bed that the Queen had once slept in.

In the book, he also recalled his aunt once saying that his dad was “not a bad man” but he was “just English”.

Before meeting the late Queen, his mother also apparently instructed him not to “bow down to her”.

Given that the British did, in fact, subject the Irish to centuries of cruelty, that’s not an unreasonable supposition for his absence. However, I think there are two more reasons he may be giving it a hard pass, with the second of the two being the real reason Biden is skipping the party.

The first unspoken reason Biden won’t go is that Charles III has no cachet, especially among the left. While leftists may forgive England for brutalizing Ireland (the Irish, after all, are as white as the English), England’s colonial history in Africa and Southeast Asia is less forgivable.

That seems to be the reason that today’s pop icons are turning down the opportunity to entertain at the event—that and the fact that even Charles’s climate fanaticism is not enough to overcome the boredom and ick factors associated with him. After all, he’s a man who cheated on a wife whom ordinary people adored and, moreover, wanted to be a tampon in his then-mistress Camilla (soon to be Queen Camilla). As I said, ick.

What no official outlet will admit, but what I suspect is the real stopping point for Biden when it comes to attending an important event for an allied nation, is that he’s not physically or mentally up to the task. Coronations are long affairs. Queen Elizabeth II’s took three hours. Even if Charles’s coronation is shortened for modern attention spans, it’s still going to be a long affair.

Heads of state or their representatives will have to hang around in Westminster Abbey while Charles and Camilla arrive in state; then they must sit through the event; and, afterward, they must stay in place while the newly crowned King and Queen depart. Naturally, during those before and afters, the heads of state and representatives will be expected to meet, greet, and mingle.

In addition, there will be myriad other events: Parties, suppers, photo opportunities, etc. It will not only be a long, busy day but also several long, busy days.

Can anyone, anyone at all, imagine Biden being up to the rigors of those events? This is a president who has spent 40% of his presidency on vacation—every weekend and whenever else he can get time off, with him always being incommunicado during those times. Biden had his last press conference 109 days ago. He ignores the press whenever possible.

Also, no one can forget Biden’s performance in England in 2021 for the G7 Summit. He got lost in a restaurant, and the other leaders were laughing at him. That was two years ago. Biden’s gotten much loopier since then. There’s no way he can survive the rigors of being a coronation guest.

Sure, maybe it’s another event, an American tradition of avoiding coronations, a family history of hostility to England, or an “uncool” king, but it seems likely that, hiding behind all those theories is the fact that Biden is physically and mentally incapable of attending the coronation.

French Senator Faces Trial for Tweet Saying ‘Immigration Kills’

Populist French Senator Stéphane Ravier faces a criminal trial after publishing a tweet in January of last year in which he stated that “immigration kills the youth of France.”

Ravier, a former member of Marine Le Pen’s National Rally (RN) who joined political pundit and writer Eric Zemmour’s Reconquest party last year, faces trial on March 9th in the criminal court of Marseilles on charges of incitement to discrimination, hatred, or violence.

The case revolves around a tweet published by Ravier on January 11th of 2022, in which he reacted to the murder of a teen in Paris by a 62-year-old man from the African nation of Senegal saying: “Theo, 18 years old, murdered yesterday by a Senegalese [migrant]… Immigration kills the youth of France,” La Provence reports.

A complaint over the tweet was made by the “anti-hate” group the International League against Racism and Anti-Semitism (Licra) and the League for Human Rights (LDH) against Ravier over allegations of spreading hatred toward migrants.

Alain Lothe, a civil party in the case, also alleged that by publishing his tweet “the elected official is not content to react to a news event but wants to highlight the nationality of its author and to involve all people from immigrant backgrounds.”

Last year, Ravier had been convicted for another comment made against a female socialist senator that was deemed to be sexist in nature and was handed a fine of 1,500 euros.

Like Ravier, Reconquest party leader Eric Zemmour has also been convicted by several courts after allegations of hate speech.

Prior to his presidential run last year, Zemmour had been convicted of hate speech offences several times. He is well-known for his fiery rhetoric on topics such as illegal immigration and radical Islam.

In November of 2021, Zemmour was on trial for hate speech after he claimed that underage illegal migrants were thieves, rapists, and murderers.

“They have nothing to do here, they are thieves, they are murderers, they are rapists, that’s all they are, they must be sent back and they must not even come,” he said.

He was later found guilty in January of last year and sentenced to a 10,000 euro fine.

Thousands of Flemish farmers block roads in Brussels against nitrogen policy

More than 2500 farmers from Belgium’s Dutch-speaking Flanders region gathered at Brussels’ central Arts-Loi street and blocked roads with tractors toward Brussels to protest the regional government’s plan to limit nitrogen emissions.

The European Commission did not release funds to farmers in the region under the EU’s Common Agricultural Policy because it did not find the regional government’s reduction measures sufficient.

Repeating the nitrogen hoax

The angry farmers protested against the Flanders regional government’s plan to limit nitrogen emissions by 2025, carrying banners that read: “No farmers, no food and no future.”

If Flemish environment minister Zuhal Demir (N-VA) gets her green-extremist way, hundreds of farms will have to close down.

Last year, 44 per cent more farmers already reported being in trouble. Minister Demir currently refuses as many as 9 out of 10 licences for farmers.

Farmers have been investing in solutions for years and are now faced with a government that says “it’s never enough!”. They therefore want the nitrogen agreement to be immediately consigned to the dustbin.

Nobel Laureate Dr. Kary Mullis’ assessment of the current state of climate science was that it’s a “joke”. There is no published empirical scientific evidencethat any CO2, whether natural or man-made, causes warming in the troposphere. Yet nitrogen emissions are linked to this.
