BBC reinstates Lineker and issues groveling apology for suspending presenter who breached impartiality by comparing Britain’s asylum policy with 1930s Germany

The BBC has reinstated Gary Lineker and apologized for the saga that unfolded this past week after the public broadcaster’s highest-paid presenter was suspended for tweeting criticism about the British government’s asylum policy.

Lineker was told on Friday he would not be presenting the BBC’s flagship football highlights program, “Match of the Day,” over the weekend, after his latest breach of the BBC’s impartiality guidelines. The move sparked mass protests from pundits and commentators in solidarity with the former footballer and led to a significant disruption of the BBC’s sports programming.

On Monday, the BBC’s Director General Tim Davie issued a statement apologizing for the saga, recognizing that it has been a difficult period for BBC “staff, contributors, presenters, and most importantly, our audiences.”

“The potential confusion caused by the grey areas of the BBC’s social media guidance that was introduced in 2020 is recognized. I want to get matters resolved and our sport content back on air,” he added.

Davie reiterated the broadcaster’s commitment to impartiality and said it has a “difficult balancing act to get right where people are subject to different contracts and on air positions, and with different audience and social media profiles.

“The BBC’s social media guidance is designed to help manage these sometimes difficult challenges and I am aware there is a need to ensure that the guidance is up to this task. It should be clear, proportionate, and appropriate,” he said.

The BBC chief announced a new independent review of the broadcaster’s existing social media guidance and how it applies to freelancers outside of news and current affairs.

“Gary is a valued part of the BBC and I know how much the BBC means to Gary, and I look forward to him presenting our coverage this coming weekend,” he concluded.

Lineker again took to Twitter to air his views on a tumultuous 48 hours, thanking his colleagues who walked out in solidarity over his suspension for their “incredible support.”

“However difficult the last few days have been, it simply doesn’t compare to having to flee your home from persecution or war to seek refuge in a land far away,” he added.

Why was Lineker suspended?

The row began last Tuesday when the BBC sports presenter used his significant social media reach to draw parallels between the U.K. government’s recently announced asylum laws and Nazi Germany.

Lineker, who has been the corporation’s highest-paid star for the last five years, receiving a salary of £1.35 million, has amassed a substantial following on social media, attracting over 8.7 million Twitter followers. He has often used his platform to comment on current affairs, proving himself to be an outspoken critic of Brexit and the governing Conservative party.

He is regularly vocal about migrants’ rights and revealed previously that he has taken refugees into his home.

His most recent remarks were made on Tuesday shortly after Home Secretary Suella Braverman announced new legislation to tackle illegal immigration that would see any individual entering Britain illegally detained and deported.

“Good heavens, this is beyond awful,” Lineker tweeted in response to a video posted by Braverman outlining the proposed new law.

When one social media user called him “out of order” for commenting on the plans, Lineker replied: “There is no huge influx. We take far fewer refugees than other major European countries. This is just an immeasurably cruel policy directed at the most vulnerable people in language that is not dissimilar to that used by Germany in the 30s, and I’m out of order?”

The BBC presenter’s remarks enraged some members of the public and lawmakers from the governing Conservative party. But why? Doesn’t Britain pride itself on freedom of speech?

So, what’s the problem?

The issue lies in Lineker’s association with the BBC.

As a tax-funded organization, the Beeb, as it is affectionately known in Britain, is required by its Royal Charter and Agreement to treat current affairs, no matter how controversial, with due impartiality.

The organization’s editorial guidelines offer further insight, stating:

“Where individuals identify themselves as being linked with the BBC, or are program makers, editorial staff, reporters or presenters primarily associated with the BBC, their activities on social media have the potential to compromise the BBC’s impartiality and to damage its reputation.”

In social media guidelines issued in July last year, BBC staff were prohibited from “expressing a personal opinion on matters of public policy, politics, or controversial subjects.”

As such, many argue that Lineker falls under this remit and should therefore refrain from airing his own views on topics such as government policy.

Lineker disagrees. On previous occasions where he has used his sizeable social media platform to criticize the government, he has defended his right to do so by insisting the BBC’s impartiality rules only apply to those working “in news and current affairs.” He also claims to be a freelancer at the BBC, as he undertakes presenting roles at several other broadcasters, and therefore believes he should be treated differently.

The ex-England footballer’s insistence on speaking out over controversial issues has given BBC executives a headache, not least for Director General Tim Davie, who has made two significant interventions over impartiality since assuming the role in 2020.

“The BBC’s editorial values of impartiality, accuracy, and trust are the foundation of our relationship with audiences in the U.K. and around the world,” Davie has said previously.

In reference to Lineker’s regular interventions, Davie told MPs last year: “I’ve talked to Gary. I think he’s a brilliant presenter, and it’s a work in progress in terms of where he draws the line. But we’ve had a good conversation, and I think he understands the guidelines.”

Several BBC colleagues have criticized Lineker for his continued defiance of the rules expected to be followed by all at the organization.

News editor Neil Henderson was forced to apologize to the sports presenter in August last year after commenting on a post by Lineker criticizing MPs for preventing sewage from spilling out onto Britain’s beaches. “The BBC lives or dies by its impartiality. If you can’t abide it, get off it,” Henderson told Lineker, a remark later deleted and apologized for. BBC staff aren’t permitted to publicly criticize colleagues.

Further back in 2018, the BBC’s cricket correspondent Jonathan Agnew urged Lineker to remain impartial.

“Gary. You are the face of BBC Sport. Please observe BBC editorial guidelines and keep your political views, whatever they are and whatever the subject, to yourself. I’d be sacked if I followed your example. Thanks,” he tweeted to the sports presenter.

Even some within the left-wing press have called for Lineker to refrain from speaking out. Guardian columnist Roger Bolton published an article on Thursday with the headline: “I agree with Gary Lineker on refugees. But he should delete his tweet, for the sake of the BBC.”

UK: Drag Queen Taught 11-Year-Olds About Anal Sex, Parent Complains

screen grab ok.ru/

The parent of one child has alleged her 11-year-old was taught about anal and oral sex by a drag queen while attending her local school.

The mother of one 11-year-old has expressed outrage after her 11-year-old daughter was reportedly taught about both oral and anal sex by a drag queen while attending school.

It comes after another boy in the school was allegedly given detention by the same drag queen after he publicly rejected his claim that there are 73 genders.

According to a report by The Mail, the drag queen had come to the Queen Elizabeth II school located in the Crown Dependency of the Isle of Man to teach children sexual education.

Such lessons provided to children however are said to have been extremely graphic, with the educational facility reportedly being forced to suspend their sex education lessons after public outcry over the drag queen’s actions.

“When my daughter told me what had happened, I got onto the school immediately and asked them what on earth they were doing talking in such graphic detail,” one mother, whose young daughter was reportedly taught by the drag queen, reportedly told The Mail.

“My daughter is just 11 years old, she’s five years below the age of consent and is learning about anal sex and oral sex,” she explained. “What were the school thinking of?”

Although parents have expressed particular concern regarding the graphic content of the drag queen’s lessons, controversy has also emerged regarding the ideological nature of the lessons, which reportedly taught various tenets of transgenderism to children as fact.

According to The Telegraph, the guest speaker instructed children that there are 73 genders, and that when one 14-year-old boy challenged them on this, they were reportedly sent out of the room.

“You’ve upset me,” the drag queen reportedly said before ejecting the young teenager, who is said to have subsequently been given detention by the school for “being disruptive”.

Both the boy and his parents have rejected this claim made by the school, however, insisting that he was just “simply expressing his own opinion”.

“As far as I’m concerned you can’t change biology and I was amazed when I called the school to find out why my son had been given a detention,” the mother of the boy said.

“The fact our children are not allowed to have their own view, in other words that there are only two genders is disgusting,” she continued. “The teacher was drumming it into them that there were several genders and he just said as he is entitled to that he didn’t accept it and he was punished for having his own opinion.”

“There is absolutely no need to ram gender and pride down kids’ throats and the more it’s done then the more it just alienates the majority of parents and children,” she went on to say.

Statues of ‘Old White Men’ May Need to Be Destroyed to Create ‘Right Historical Narrative’ – Welsh Govt

Welsh Government advice says statues of “old white men” such as Trafalgar hero Admiral Nelson may need to be removed or even destroyed to create the “right historical narrative” in an increasingly multicultural society.

In its current form, the studiously woke guidance, which should be finalised by the end of March, laments the fact that “powerful, older, able-bodied white men” are often depicted in public statues and memorials and that this may be “offensive” to Britain’s increasingly diverse population, according to The Telegraph.

Led by the Labour Party, Wales’ devolved government — roughly equivalent to a U.S. state government — sets out an ambitious framework for concealing, removing, or outright destroying various monuments as well as renaming various streets and buildings, in moves redolent of George Orwell’s vision in Nineteen Eighty-Four of a hard-left dystopia where “Every record has been destroyed or falsified, every book rewritten, every picture has been repainted, every statue and street building has been renamed, every date has been altered.”

The guidance, which sees setting the “right historical narrative” — as defined by its woke authors — as its driving purpose, with men like Admiral Lord Nelson and the Duke of Wellington, the heroes of the Battle of Trafalgar and the Battle of Waterloo, recast as “offensive to people today who see them in a different light”, and indeed as “aggressors who conquered peoples to expand the British Empire”.

The so-called “best-practice” document also complains that diversity is “hardly visible at all in public commemorations” — an unsurprising result of the fact that Britain in general and Wales in particular had very little diversity to speak of until the post-war era of mass migration — and that this could create a “perception that the achievements that society considers noteworthy are those of powerful, older, able-bodied white men” and perpetuate “racist colonial myths about white superiority”.

“Labour are intent on rewriting our history here in Wales,” said Andrew RT Davies, who leads the Conservative (Tory) Party in Wales, alleging they “have been captured by a hard-Left, anti-British mob who want nothing more than to topple our statues, tear up the works of classic authors and cancel our great orators, all in the name of virtue signalling.”

“Statues may well offend some people, but that does not make them any less a part of Wales’ rich history. What happened to remembering the mistakes of the past and learning the lessons?” he asked — tacitly accepting the statue-smasher narrative that some of those depicted in the country’s memorials should indeed be regarded as villains, but retain their memorials anyway.

“We should be punishing woke vandals for denigrating our history and damaging our monuments, not kowtowing to them by ‘concealing statues’ as this document suggests,” he added, alluding to a section of the guidance where it is suggested that statues not removed entirely could be “discretely box[ed]” or “enclose[d]… creatively in new artworks”.

However, the reality is that while the Conservative-led central government which has much the same role in England’s national governance as the devolved governments in Wales, Scotland, and Northern Ireland has been good on rhetoric with respect to statues, it offers very little in terms of action.

London’s woke Metropolitan Police, for example, has been able to draw up a secret list of supposedly “contentious” memorials including a statue of Sir Winston Churchill and the Cenotaph, which commemorates the country’s war dead, under the noses of the government in Westminster, with no obvious consequences.

In Northumbria, meanwhile, the local police force took a break from its law enforcement duties to assist a rogue municipal government in conducting a “review of South Tyneside’s statues and landmarks to determine if any have links to slavery or oppressive behaviour,” with some of the landmarks flagged including a statue of two Vikings outside a shopping centre, which could supposedly have “connections / associations with far-Right symbolism and Nordic mythology”.

European women wear hijabs on diplomatic visits to Iran, while Iranian women are killed for removing them

German politicians Claudia Roth, Greens, and Dagmar Wöhrl, CSU, in Iran in 2015, http://eussner.blogspot.com

by Giulio Meotti

Europeans have been living inside a gigantic episode of South Park for years and now they have found themselves, in the words of Spiked’s Brendan O’Neill, also “doing the dirty work of the ayatollahs. The woke West has more in common with Iran’s rulers than with its rebels.”

Mainstream feminists, perhaps too busy rewriting Roald Dahl’s Charlie and the Chocolate Factory to make Oompa Loompas “neutral,” have a knack for double standards. Or in the words of Mila, the French girl threatened with death for having “offended” Islam, in a letter to Afghan women, “your wire-mesh eyes can only see Western cowardice?”.

Nadine Oliveri Lozano, in the company of Iranian religious figures, dressed herself head to toe in the black chador, the traditional Iranian veil, at the shrine of Qom, south of Tehran. The image of the new Swiss ambassador to Iran, taking place while the regime has been bloodily repressing (at least 500 dead) since mid-September a large protest movement whose slogan – “women, life, freedom” – opposes the dress requirements imposed on women has inflamed social networks.

“Nadine Oliveri Lozano legitimizes the brutality of the Islamic Republic”, attacks Saghi Gholi of the Free Iran Switzerland movement: “That the Swiss ambassador visits this shrine is simply shocking”, all the more so because “she shows up in a chador while thousands of women fight to be able to take it off.” “Wearing the conservative headscarf is exactly what shouldn’t be done, as brave Iranian women risked everything for freedom,” British-Iranian actress Nasanin Boniadi wrote on Twitter.

The controversy echoes the criticisms already raised by the visit of Micheline Calmy-Rey (former president of Switzerland) to Iran. The then Foreign Minister was photographed all smiles, with a scarf on her hair, during a meeting with Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad. The socialist had then dismissed the criticisms as follows: “It is not a sign of submission. It is respect for the customs of a country that invites”.

And in recent days the Swiss president Alain Berset, on the occasion of the Iranian national holiday, which is celebrated on February 11 and commemorates the expulsion of the Shah and the establishment of the Islamic Republic, sent “a congratulatory telegram”. “The federal president wishes Iran and its citizens a happy and successful future”, reads Berset’s text.

Wearing a chador is required in Shia shrines which often provide it for women, and that can be seen as a sign of respect. Chadors, however, do not have to be black from head to toe.

-The chador that the Swiss ambassador wore was lauded by the Iranian establishment as “the quintessential hijab”.

-“Visiting the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque in Abu Dhabi was a breathtaking experience, one feels small and humble in this wonderful place, which embodies Islam’s message of peace, diversity and tolerance,” wrote Euro Commissioner Utta Urpilainen returning from the United Arab Emirates, where she was photographed well veiled.

-Federica Mogherini, as EU Foreign Minister, went to take selfies with a chador in the Iranian Parliament.

-Helena Dalli, the European Commissioner for Equality who proposed to cancel “Merry Christmas” in the name of “inclusion”, celebrates the “Day against Islamophobia”.

-A Swedish delegation visiting Iran, led by Swedish Prime Minister Löfven and Trade Minister Anna Linde, included eleven women. They all wore headscarves “almost all the time” while in Iran.

What drives these diplomats to veil themselves with such ardor? Jean Birnbaum explains it in Le Monde: “On the campuses of the United States and Western Europe as well as in the circles of the so-called ‘postcolonial’ left, this idea has spread: that the solidarity of Western women with their sisters in Islamic countries often masks a condescending or even racist attitude.”

“‘No moral authority will make me endorse a slogan conceived by and for white feminists, I belong to my family, to my clan, to my race, to Algeria, to Islam,’ summed up the founding activist of the Indigènes de la République Houria Bouteldja. Recalling that Bouteldja is publicly defended by leftist figures such as Nobel Prize winner Annie Ernaux, we can see how far from marginal these positions have become in terms of influence.

The problem isn’t even so much the veil and what they put in their heads as soon as they land in Iran, but what they see in front of their eyes in Europe.

“900 girls kidnapped in 2021 and 2022 in Sweden, half taken to Iraq and Somalia”. Girls who are brought home to be subjected to female genital mutilation or chained to a forced marriage, writes the Swedish Expressen this week, citing an investigation by public television, Svt. Over the past five years, at least 1,151 women have been abducted, 235 of them over the age of 18. 916 are girls.

In Sweden, where there are 70,000 forced marriages, it is so widespread that girls who fear being taken abroad for forced marriage have even been advised to put a spoon in their underwear before going through airport security. “Gothenburg airport staff have been told how to react in such circumstances,” said Katarina Idegard, in charge of tackling honour-based violence in Sweden’s second largest city. “The spoon will activate the metal detectors when you go through security. You will be taken aside and you can speak to staff in private. It is a last chance to raise the alarm.”

Meanwhile, about fifty activists of the right-wing feminist movement Némésis – true feminists who understood what real oppression is – gathered on Sunday 29 January for an impressive protest in front of the Sacré-Coeur in Montmartre. Half were in robes and the other half in hijabs, behind the banner “What civilization do you want?”. They wanted to denounce the “World Hijab Day”, which is celebrated on February 1 and is an attempt to promote Islamism in Western countries. “We don’t realize how lucky we are to live in European civilization until we lose it,” they said. “So don’t wait any longer to defend it.”

The woke European feminists and diplomats, who can’t tell what a “woman” is and think that J.K. Rowling is the devil, I don’t know which side they would choose. Much of the chatter that goes on in the West about “rights” is dangerous gibberish.

BBC sports broadcaster suspended for violation of ‘impartiality’ guidelines in a social media post

Gary Lineker, screen grab youtube

By Rajan Laad

The U.K. is currently in the midst of a crisis involving illegal aliens attempting to enter the U.K. by traveling across the English Channel on small boats

More than 45,000 illegal aliens entered the U.K. last year, up from about 300 in 2018. The U.K. is currently spending £7 million on hotels to accommodate the illegal crossers into the country.

Unlike the Biden administration, which has purposefully left U.S. borders unguarded to allow an uncontrolled influx of illegal aliens, the U.K. government is making attempts to curb this problem.

The U.K. Home secretary proposed legislation that enables instant deportation of those entering the U.K. illegally. This could be an effective way to deter the influx.

As expected, the open borders fanatics in the U.K. were outraged by this idea, and branded it racist and xenophobic.

As always, none of these open borders advocates volunteered to accommodate these illegal aliens in their homes or sponsor any hotel rooms for them.

It is just plain and empty virtue-signaling.

Among those outraged was BBC Sports broadcaster and former soccer star Gary Lineker.

Lineker took to Twitter to brand the proposed legislation as ‘beyond awful.’

Linekar added that the “immeasurably cruel policy” was directed at “the most vulnerable people in a language that is not dissimilar to that used by Germany in the 30s.”

The comparison is preposterous.

In Germany during the 1930s, the Jewish people who suffered systemic targeting were citizens and not illegal migrants. They were persecuted and suffered genocide for their religious beliefs and immutable nationality.

The scale of persecution and targeting was such that it led to the Holocaust where 6 million Jews perished and millions more were displaced. This is one of the darkest chapters in human history. Casual comparisons to any contemporary occurrences are particularly insensitive to the millions of victims and trivialize the graveness of what happened.

A country is a finite entity with borders and citizens; aspiring visitors must subject themselves to vetting before permission for entry is granted. Law enforcement is an important function of any government. The illegal aliens arriving in the U.K. will not be punished for their race or religion but for violating immigration laws.

Now for the BBC: Lineker is a freelance broadcaster.

The BBC has guidelines that are known as impartiality rules that don’t permit any partisan expression.

The guidelines apply not only to ideas expressed on the BBC but also to social media posts of BBC accounts.

Lineker signed a five-year deal with the BBC in 2020, under which he agreed to adhere to their updated impartiality rules.

For violating these guidelines, Lineker was suspended by the BBC.

Despite these guidelines, the BBC chief has acknowledged that the U.K. broadcasting outlet has a liberal bias, which he pledged to confront.

BBC’s liberal bias is apparent to anyone watching.

The BBC head Richard Sharp was criticized for failing to declare his involvement in facilitating a loan for then-Prime Minister Boris Johnson shortly before he was appointed to the role.

BBC America’s Katty Kay frequently appeared on Democrat mouthpiece MSNBC, but somehow that didn’t seem to upset the BBC.

The BBC’s global service were deeply biased in covering the U.S. They blindly accepted various Democrat conspiracy theories against President Trump.

BBC veterans such as Sir Mark Tully would have never allowed this to happen.

It is still commendable that they have some guidelines, and most importantly, that these guidelines are enforced.

U.S.-based news outlets such as MSNBC or CNN or the New York Times  and others frequently have contributors comparing President Trump to Hitler and there are no consequences at all.

Lineker is a serial violator who has on many occasions expressed controversial ideas on Twitter.

Lineker was a vocal opponent of Brexit and backed the campaign for another EU referendum, claiming Brexit felt very ” very wrong indeed.”

Lineker is also known for being viciously anti-Israel. He tweeted against arrests in the West Bank and lamented the killing of a Palestinian footballer who was eventually found to be a Hamas terrorist.

Back to Lineker’s suspension.

The decision triggered a wave of condemnation from Lineker’s colleagues who boycotted their duties for the next broadcast compelled the BBC  to use their radio commentary service in place.

The spin doctors attempted to suggest that Lineker was suspended for being critical of the government which run by the British conservative party

So what does one make of this?

Is this an infringement of free speech?

Lineker’s opinion about the anti-migrant bull was obviously a scandalous overstatement and insensitive.

But in a democracy, all expressions should be allowed, even the vilest of ones.

Piers Morgan tweeted that “if we don’t cherish & fiercely protect free speech, even for views we personally despise, we’re no better than totalitarians.”

But Lineker’s free speech rights weren’t violated. He hasn’t been detained or arrested. His tweets still remain – Twitter hasn’t suppressed them and neither has law enforcement compelled him to delete them.

What has happened is a violation of his employment clause which Lineker signed of his own volition. The clauses were not discriminatory in any form. They just demanded that if he wanted to work for the BBC even on a contractual basis, he had to adhere to the rules and refrain from commenting on political issues.

If free speech mattered to Lineker, he should have rejected the BBC’s employment offer and chosen to work at any organization where he was permitted to express himself more freely.

Let’s look beyond the BBC in the UK.

Unlike the U.S., the U.K. has government-approved regulators such as Ofcomthat monitors the media.

Ofcom is authorized to issue fines against violators or suspend broadcasting licenses of offenders which results in shutting down the news outlet.

Ofcom doesn’t always issue such punitive actions.

When Piers Morgan said he didn’t trust Meghan Markle’s allegations against the British royal family during her Oprah interview, Ofcom received around 58,000 complaints. Ofcom cleared Morgan, stating that he had a right to express his opinion.

So could a government-approved regulatory body such as Ofcom work in the U.S.?

On paper, regulations would have prevented the U.S. mainstream media from peddling hoaxes about the Trump-Russia collusion, the violent insurrection on January 6, and numerous other vicious falsehoods about President Trump.

But there is another side to this.

What if Ofcom is infiltrated by Democrats like most powerful organizations within the U.S. are. What if they had hired Republicans such as Adam Kinzinger and Mitt Romney to demonstrate impartiality?

This organization would immediately shut down any organization that violates the Democrat groupthink.

While big corporate media organizations have the means to hire teams of lawyers to defend their cases for as long as it takes, smaller organizations will not have that luxury and will shut down.

The First Amendment which protects freedom of speech and the press is hence the best system.

The D.C. Democrat establishment is attempting to trample the right to free speech, but the fact that it exists in the Constitution is sufficient protection.

The First Amendment is vital because enables independent media outlets to counter spurious narratives peddled by various Democrat mouthpieces.

The First Amendment is essential American democracy to survive.

India: Hindu youth murdered by Muslim girl’s family after he fails to cough up ‘settlement money’

Murdered Hindu youth D Pawan (Image Source: Asian TV News YT channel)

A Hindu youth, D Pawan, was stabbed to death on Thursday around midnight in the Shaheen Nagar area on the outskirts of Telangana’s capital Hyderabad. His family alleged that he was murdered because of a friendship with a Muslim girl. After investigation, police has cracked the case and made startling revelations.

Pawan, aged around 20, came out of his house to use the washroom just before midnight. Suddenly, his loud cries were heard and when his family members rushed out they saw him lying in a pool of blood. His family saw two people fleeing the spot. Pawan was rushed to rushed to Osmania Hospital, but succumbed to his injuries.

Addressing a press conference, police said that Digawat Pawan’s family had shifted from Nagarkurnool to Hyderabad’s Shaheen Nagar colony under Balapur police station area 3 years back. He became friendly with a girl and the two started talking over phone. The girl’s family then shifted to Pahadi Shareef but the two still remained in touch.

The girl’s family then approached one Mohammed, who runs a local YouTube channel MGM media, to resolve the matter. This Mohammed called a meeting in his office, and demanded that Pawan’s family must pay Rs 5 lakhs in lieu of the ‘harassment’ caused to the girl’s family. Later the figure was lowered to Rs 3 lakhs. Being daily laborers, Pawan’s family was unable to cough up this ‘settlement amount’.

On the day of the murder, at 7 PM Mohammed held a final meeting of the local kangaroo/sharia court. As Pawan’s family had not paid the extortion demand, the girl’s uncle (chachha) Ghaus and his friend Saddam took matter into their own hands. They waited outside Pawan’s house and when he came out to go to the washroom at 11.30 PM, they stabbed him.

The two murderers have been arrested, and Mohammed, the owner of the local YouTube channel, has also been arrested for extortion and threatening. The three will be presented in court.

VHP has come out in support of the Pawan’s family, who belong to an SC community, and demanded severe punishment for the perpetrators. VHP also alleged that the Rachakonda Police Commissioner Devendra Singh Chahuan had threatened Hindus for protesting this brutal murder, and have raised the issue with Telangana DGP.

In 2022, relatives of a Muslim woman Ashrin Sultana killed her 25-year-old Hindu SC husband Billapuram Nagaraju in the middle of a road in Hyderabad right in front of her eyes.

Multiple such crimes take place every year, which show that the myth of Indian Muslims being scared or living in fear is a complete lie, and this propaganda is designed to cover up a reality which is the exact opposite. Here is a list of 35 such cases of deadly violence against Hindu man-Muslim woman couples by family of the Muslim woman.

In any inter-faith matter involving subcontinental Muslims, it is almost always the non-Muslim person who is at the receiving end of violence or fraud. Here are a few samples from recent times:

March 10: Dr. Sumedha Sharma stabbed to death by boyfriend Johar Ganai: Jammu

March 10: Sahil Sayyed booked for raping his ex-Hindu wife and threatening to kill her: Ahmednagar, Maharashtra

March 7: Minor Hindu girl shot at by Muslim stalker Md. Kasim in Delhi

March 6: Converted Hindu girl thrown out by Muslim husband in pregnant state: Sindh, Pakistan

March 3: Minor Hindu class 9 student Aishwarya Sarkar attacked with blade by Muslim stalker Mohammed Rohan (21): Jessore, Bangladesh

Feb 18: Hindu widow Chanda Singh murdered by Md. Arif and others for not converting to Islam: UP

Feb 17: Already married Zakir Ali from UP posed as Sandeep to marry a Hindu woman in Assam – had 3 kids before deserting her after she refused to convert to Islam

Greta Thunberg deletes a 2018 tweet that said humanity is going to be extinct by 2023 because of climate change

Recently, the infamous environment activist Greta Thunberg deleted an old 2018 tweet where she had said humanity would go extinct by 2023 because of climate change. She has not provided any explanation for deleting the tweet. It was available at least till March 7, 2023, as captured by Archive.org. The last capture of the tweet was at 9:52 PM GMT.

March 7 capture of now-deleted tweet by Greta Thunberg. Source: Archive.org.

In the now-deleted tweet, Greta Thunberg wrote, “A top climate scientist is warning that climate change will wipe out all of humanity unless we stop using fossil fuels over the next five years,” while quoting a now-deleted article by Gritpost.com. The website no longer exists.

The article on Gritpost was titled “Top Climate Scientist: Humans Will Go Extinct if We Don’t Fix Climate Change by 2023.” The article quoted Professor James Anderson, a professor of atmospheric chemistry at Harvard University, who had warned that climate change was pushing back Earth to the Eocene Epoch from 33 million BCE when there was no ice on either pole. The article was based on a Forbes report titled “We have five years to save ourselves from climate change, Harvard Scientist says”. Notably, Anderson is best known for establishing that chlorofluorocarbons were damaging the Ozone Layer.

As per Forbes, back then Anderson had said, “We have exquisite information about what that state is because we have a paleo record going back millions of years when the Earth had no ice at either pole. There was almost no temperature difference between the equator and the pole.”

He had added, “The ocean was running almost 10 degrees centigrade warmer all the way to the bottom than it is today, and the amount of water vapour in the atmosphere would have meant that storm systems would be violent in the extreme, because water vapour, which is an exponential function of water temperature, is the gasoline that fuels the frequency and intensity of storm systems.”

“The chance that there will be any permanent ice left in the Arctic after 2022 is essentially zero. Can we lose 75-80 per cent of permanent ice and recover? The answer is no,” he said.

Interestingly, Anderson never suggested that humanity would go extinct, as suggested by Greta and Gritpost. Anderson emphasised working extensively for five years to reduce the use of fossil fuels.

Greta Thunberg’s dubious history of running propaganda

The child activist who gained fame for propagating against Climate Change is best known for running wild with theories and pushing people, especially youngsters who admire her, to believe that they can bring change “by protesting” rather than working on the actual problem to find a solution. She has a history of running propaganda and joining hands with dubious organisations. For example, Greta tried to meddle in India’s affairs by supporting protests against now-repealed agriculture laws. She accidentally published a link to a toolkit that was developed to paint a bad picture of the Indian government on an international platform. Several arrests were made in the matter, and it is sub-judice.
