In a significant development, 2.5 tonnes of natural uranium, which had gone missing from Libya, has been found near the border of Libya with Chad. Earlier, the uranium that was declared by Libya to have been stored at a site in southern Libya, was not there when International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) inspectors came for a visit.

During their visit, IAEA inspectors found that 10 drums containing approximately 2.5 tons of natural uranium in the form of UOC (uranium ore concentrate) previously declared by (Libya) as being stored at that location were not present at the location,” Reuters cited Director General Rafael Grossi as saying.

A media official for the Libyan National Army (LNA), General Khaled Mahjoub, said that they were able to find the ten missing barrels of uranium ore concentrate just 5 kilometres away from the warehouse where they were originally stored in the southern part of Libya.

Mahjoub said that rebels from the neighbouring state may have stolen the large blue drums from the warehouse believing they had weapons or ammunition in them, but upon realising that they contained something else, they must have abandoned them.

Libya had obtained uranium enrichment centrifuges and atomic bomb designs during the late 90s but relinquished its nuclear weapons program in 2003, in a move aimed to repair its relations with the West. Eight years later, a West-backed insurrection led to the killing of the Libyan ruler Muammar Gaddafi and the subsequent fall of Libya into chaos. Libya has since been recovering from the damage, but the country remains divided and torn due to the civil war.

The European Union is pushing for countries to deport more migrants who are deemed ineligible to stay in the bloc, with a top commissioner noting that only 21 percent of such migrants are actually sent home.

During a news conference on Tuesday at the European Parliament in Strasbourg, EU Home Affairs Commissioner Ylva Johansson, who is well known for her pro-migration views, urged more deportations.

“Last year we had a return rate of only 21 percent of those who are not eligible to stay, those who are not in need of international protection. And when we fail to return people, this hampers our system and erodes trust. To protect the right to apply for asylum, we have to show that we are appropriately dealing with those who do not qualify for international protection,” she said.

However, the EU has mostly paid lip service to the issue. Many migrants have arrived in Europe due to poor border security and Brussels’ refusal to support the policies of countries like Hungary that advocate a series of reforms to strengthen Europe’s immigration system.

Nevertheless, Europe’s left-liberal establishment is worried about growing anti-immigration sentiment, which has seen conservative governments come to power in Sweden and Italy.

Johansson does not say that the EU should slow migration, but instead argues that the bloc needs more legal migration while deporting those migrants deemed problematic or deemed ineligible to stay in Europe. One of the key problems has been countries outside Europe, known as “third countries,” refusing to take back their migrants.

“We need to have better cooperation with third countries to improve these rates, and we are improving in several of (the) third countries, we are seeing better cooperation, and we are stepping up on the returns. But we can also do much better on our own side, in member states and together with the (European) Commission and our agencies. And you all know that we need migration, but it has to be in a legal and orderly way.”

Johansson has long been an advocate for mass immigration into Europe, saying Europe “needs” more immigrants. In a speech from 2020, she said, “We need fewer irregular arrivals and instead have more regular arrivals. That’s why we have to focus on legal pathways both for migrants to come to contribute to our economy and for refugees that need international protection.”

She is pushing for the EU on Migration and Asylum, a plan that National Rally parliamentary leader Marine Le Pen has labeled “the suicide of Europe.” It would add up to 75 million non-European migrants to Europe each year.

Many of the African and Middle Eastern migrants flowing into Europe over the last decades have become a major source of crime, poverty, and in some cases, also terrorism. French President Emmanuel Macron admitted last year that half the crimes in Paris are committed by foreigners, and some experts argue that figure is actually much higher. This same trend is playing out in Germany, Switzerland, Spain, Sweden and many other Europe countries.

Johansson and many left-liberal leaders in Europe, and even some conservative parties, such as the Tories in Britain, are pushing for more skilled workers from countries like India and China — the same type of workers who are quickly replacing White Europeans in medical, accounting and computer science jobs in countries like the United States, Canada and Australia. However, even as the EU demands hundreds of thousands of these types of workers, the irregular migrant flows show no sign of slowing down, which has put pressure on Europe’s housing market and driven citizens in welcoming countries like Germany to sour on more arrivals.

In fact, the situation regarding deportations appears to be growing worse — not better. As Remix News reported in 2020, the data showed then that only 38 percent of migrants slated for deportation were actually deported from Europe. Johansson herself says that in 2022, it was only an astounding 21 percent.

If she truly wants more deportations, she is also likely to be disappointed. Even in countries like France, where anti-immigration sentiment is sky-high and national-conservative parties are only growing in popularity over the issue, there has been little done to ramp up deportation. After 13-year-old schoolgirl Lola was found stuffed in a suitcase after being raped, tortured and murdered last year by an Algerian migrant, the data showed that only 0.2 percent of rejected Algerian migrants were actually sent back home. Macron and the French government, responding to public pressure, said they would suspend visas to North African countries that refused to take back their migrants, only to quietly drop this scheme mere months later.

The Green Revolution was meant to be a socially just transformation, but today, the legislative machine is moving us toward emission neutrality in just three decades against many people’s wishes. Now, it has become yet another revolution being imposed from above.

Let us put aside the debate over eating worms. What matters for us is that major changes in our lives are being proposed in areas key to our well-being, such as heating our homes in winter or being able to stay mobile in our own vehicles. 

It is not surprising therefore that resistance to these ideas is growing. A recent research survey reported that 76 percent of Poles were opposed to the idea of banning the registration of new internal combustion-driven vehicles from 2035. The problems this involves cannot be swept under the rug. Here in Poland, there are three major issues. The first is the question of freedom of choice. The way the EU is presenting its moves as mandatory to achieving climate neutrality is leading to social and political delegitimization of the idea. 

The second issue is the problem of inequality. The implementation of the Green Deal should not increase inequality and lead to exclusion of the poor and the old; otherwise, it will give rise to new social divisions. 

The third issue is one of security. Maybe in the Netherlands, moving toward electro-mobility and ending the use of oil and coal is possible without damaging the security and resilience of the state and its society. However, in the case of Poland and the region of Central and Eastern Europe, which are now the object of real geopolitical threats and uncertainties, unilateral moves in this direction could be suicidal.

What is it about Utah and school lunches? 

Back in 2014, one of their districts famously threw out children’s school lunches in front of their faces based on their parents’ unpaid lunch debt, wasting tons of food and humiliating the children.

 Nine years later, they’re telling the kids to eat bugs.

To save the earth or whatever, and get extra class credit, though let’s face it, the humiliation is the same.

According to Fox News:

A middle school in Utah’s Nebo School District gave sixth-grade students “disgusting” insects to eat last week as part of an English assignment on climate change, claiming it would save the environment from cows which were “killing the world,” according to a mom who spoke with Fox News Digital. 

“Middle schoolers loved the ‘ewww’ factor, many of them gave bugs a try (and even a few staff members!). Many thanks to our English teachers for creating fun and engaging lessons,” the Spring Canyon Middle school said about the March 7 assignment. 

Bugs were purchased from a commercial site that is “safe for consumption,” the district said. 

The mother of one of the students – Amanda Wright – told Fox News she believed the kids were being subjected to “indoctrination” into a “dark climate change religion.” She challenged the school’s principal Alison Hansen on the assignment after her daughter found it uncomfortable.

Uncomfortable? How about repulsed?

People don’t eat bugs. It’s been that way since the dawn of time. That’s food for ducks and snakes, not people food. There’s a reason for it, too, explaining the ‘willies’ factor — bugs frequently contain toxins, even those which are not poisonous, just merely filthy and disease-bearing, such as cockroaches. They are foul, disgusting, and repellent to humans,  because they are … foul, disgusting and repellent. They’re not health food. A few isolated cultures have historically eaten bugs or worms, but only because of prospect of starvation otherwise. They’d eat meat, legumes, and fish instead if shortages in nature’s bounty were not the problem. Nobody eats bugs as their first food choice.

The kids’ reaction was natural, and claims to the contrary about kids embracing it sound more than a little bogus.

More disturbing still, kids were told to eat the bug and then write an essay on why bug-eating is good for the planet.

The climate change assignment instructed sixth-graders to write an argumentative essay, but did not permit students to disagree. The only acceptable answer was that humans should eat insects for their protein instead of cows, which are destroying the Ozone layer with methane gas. 

Some students were given extra credit as an incentive to eat the insects. 

Write an argument in which there is only one side of the question? That’s wokester politics in a nutshell. It’s also outrageous, utterly hostile to the spirit of free inquiry.

Fox News put out a transcript of a video showing just how narrow-minded and wokesterly the teacher was in her answers to one skeptical kid:

“How come we can’t state our opinion and write that we shouldn’t be eating bugs?” she asked [teacher] Cutler.

“Because we don’t have any evidence to support it,” Cutler said. 

Seems we’re heard that “because I said so” answer before, on COVID-19 vaccines, election fraud, and abortion. Now there’s to be no dissent brooked on the question of eating bugs.

The girl’s mother rightly pointed out that the teacher’s inability to brook dissident signalled indoctrination over education, the wokester agenda in action.

Greenie fanatics, unable to sell bug to the public as a dinner choice, seem to be targeting little kids, in the same way groomers target kids in public schools to the transgender agenda. They want to catch them when they are young and impressionable so as to have them eating bugs for life.

What a sick world this is. Greens have unsuccessfully tried to sell us on all sorts of repulsive things to put into our bodies — from various versions of soylent green, to “stewmaking” burials, to human compost burials, to recycling urine into drinking water to save the earth, to eating bugs. It’s one disgusting thing after another, which these days even includes attempting to coax people into taking public transit. Not too long ago, a Utah official tried to encourage people to eat wild toads to save the environment. Utah teachers were also recently caught teaching CRT in schools behind the kids’ parents’ backs.

Now they’re going after the kids, doing an amazing U-turn, from wasting food to coerce parents into paying their debts, to pressuring children into eatings starvation-fare bugs to ensure good grades.

The teacher has since tried to backtrack, but her zeal for bug-eating and refusal to brook dissent came from somewhere — her establishment, her bosses, her watching of MSNBC. It doesn’t belong in public schools. It’s nothing more than the greenie agenda of grabbing more power by capturing the minds of the kids, brainwashing them into thinking bug-eating is virtuous.

It’s lunacy and the parents are right to speak out.

Dominic Risden, 24, who now claims to be a transgender woman named ‘Lexi-Rose Crawford’, has been found guilty at the Bristol Crown Court of raping a female friend in April of 2019.

As usual with sex crimes, it was not a first offense:

[I]n 2017, Risden, then identifying as a man, was found guilty of having sex with a 15-year-old girl…

After serving half of a 4-year wrist slap of a sentence, in 2019 Risden declared himself to be named Lexi-Rose Crawford, assumed female pronouns, and raped a woman who appears to have been thoroughly browbeaten by liberalism:

As to why she didn’t try to fend off her attacker, the victim said: “What could I have done without using physical contact to stop her? And then that could have been me in the wrong by using physical contact to stop her”.

By “her,” she is referring to the man who raped her. If she were to “misgender” the criminal, that could have been her in the wrong.

On the first day of the trial Risden reportedly appeared before the court with a chin full of stubble and a short moustache, however, these were shaved off by the second day of the trial. The convicted sex offender also “inexplicably” adopted an American accent for the proceedings.

If Risden can identify as a woman and be taken seriously, why can’t he identify as American? Maybe he was hoping for a pardon from our belligerently pro-transsexual president.

Despite apparently not having secured a legal gender change recognition certificate, the rapist was referred to as “miss” throughout the four-day trial and the formal indictment in the case accused Risden of using “her penis” to rape the woman.

An appeal against the fine imposed on a German Green party politician who embarked on faking a long-running allegation of harassment against him by far-right extremists has been dismissed by a German court.

Manoj Subramaniam, a 33-year-old former local Green councilor in the German town of Erkelenz, alleged last July he had been subjected to sustained acts of harassment by anonymous right-wing extremists. He showed police evidence of the abuse he had received, which included a threatening letter with a razor blade inserted and a swastika drawn onto his vehicle in red paint.

The case made national headlines last year with several prominent politicians offering their solidarity with Subramaniam for the abuse he had received.

“Right-wing extremists are threatening political volunteers to silence them. Thank you, Manoj Subramaniam, for not being silent and raising your voice,” stated Lamya Kaddor, a member of the Bundestag.

Federal police took protective measures for the politician’s safety, and an intensive investigation was initiated by state security, all at considerable cost to the taxpayer. The only issue, however, was that Subramaniam had made it all up.

“The defendant actually wrote this note himself,” revealed Justus Wassenberg, the press spokesman for the public prosecutor’s office.

It transpired that Subramaniam had also drawn SS runes and a swastika onto the doorbell panel outside his house.

Subramaniam subsequently resigned from his position as a local councilor, and Erkelenz District Court issued the disgraced politician a penalty order of €3,600 for faking criminal offenses, a fine he appealed.

On Wednesday, his complaints against the court decision were finally withdrawn after a court ruled the amount of the fine to be final.

Germans news outlet Junge Freiheit reported how Subramaniam burst into tears in the courtroom and was handed handkerchiefs by his lawyer, all to no avail.

The site also reported that Subramaniam has since returned to his post as a local councilor despite the criminal conviction and fine being upheld by the appellate court.

Paypal Melbourne Fashion Festival (MFF) recently came under fire for the display of religious texts on the garments at the event, on Saturday, March 11. MFF was criticized over a dress by the label ‘Not a Man’s Dream’ with the Arabic phrase, ‘Allah walks with me’ emblazoned on it.

MFF and the designer Samantha Saint James who is also the founder of ‘Not a Man’s Dream’, issued an apology, on Sunday, for the incident. “The festival did not intend to disrespect anyone and we apologise for any offence caused,” it read.

James conveyed, “I apologize for any offense or disrespect caused by certain pieces I showed in Saturday evening’s MFF runway. I have come to understand how some garments have caused offense. It was the opposite of my intentions and for that, I’m truly sorry.”

The apology has since been deleted, with only screenshots of the Instagram story being shared online. The label’s Instagram page has since been made private following the outcry.

At least two designs at the Melbourne event on the weekend featured the script in Arabic saying, ‘Allah walks with me,’ infuriating many. The festival has removed all designs from the label from its social channels while it investigated complaints about the designs.

In addition to publishing a post denouncing the occurrence, Eritrean-Australian Instagram model, Mona Khalifa, also put out a video, saying, “There is a fine line between art and disrespect and this falls way, way over disrespect.” She remarked, adding that there is no justification for anyone to add the name of Allah or other Islamic symbols to something like this. “It is transparent fabric,” she added.

“To use religious texts or write Allah (God) in Arabic which is sacred to both Muslims and Arab Christians and also to have it styled in such a nude and immodest manner is wrong on so many levels. The pieces also had the models’ heads covered, which feels like a direct dig at hijab & Muslim women,” she stated in her post.

The design was inappropriate, according to Tarik Junaid Asmat, another model who was present at the show on Saturday night. “It is no secret that I grew up lovingly Muslims, so I have zero shame in sharing this, designers do better,” he wrote on his Instagram story. “To my Muslim brothers and sisters who witnessed this, I have you in my prayers. I’m not going to say anything else about this,” he said further.

Bilal Rauf, a spokesman for the Australian National Imams Council, called the attire offensive and pointed out that people of all faiths use the phrase Allah. “The use of certain words and symbols which carry a religious significance ought to be used with respect,” he commented.

“Sadly, there is an increasing incidence of sacred symbols and words being flippantly used. Allah, which means God in Arabic, is used by Arab-speaking Christians and Muslims around the world. It is unfitting for such a word to be used with discourtesy and disrespect as seemed to occur at the Melbourne Fashion Festival,” he voiced his displeasure.

The controversy comes after Channel 10’s flagship program, The Project, faced backlash over a joke about Jesus made live on air by a guest. Queer comedian Reuben Kaye, who was a guest on the show, made an ‘offensive’ joke about Jesus Christ. Co-hosts Waleed Aly and Sarah Harris issued an on-air apology a day later following criticism by the community.
