A failed Somali asylum seeker has been jailed for six years in Scotland after raping a woman as she slept in a flat in Glasgow.
During the trial, the High Court in Edinburgh heard how 42-year-old Abdul Ibrahim had removed his victim’s clothing before raping her at an address in the south-west Glaswegian district of Govan.
The attack occurred on Sept. 23, 2020.
Ibrahim had continuously denied the charge of rape and was ultimately convicted after a trial.
“This was, by any standard, a serious offense,” the presiding judge told Ibrahim at his sentencing hearing on Thursday, reiterating how his victim had been asleep and was “entitled to expect not to be molested in any way.”
In mitigation, defense counsel revealed to the court that while Ibrahim has a criminal record, he had not previously been convicted of any offense pertaining to a sexual nature.
It transpired the Somali sex predator had been tried for a previous sexual offense back in 2020 for which he was acquitted at trial.
Ibrahim was sentenced to six years’ imprisonment, placed indefinitely on the sex offenders’ register, and the judge warned the attacker would be at a “very high risk of deportation” upon his release.
He had, however, not been deported prior to the offense despite having his asylum application rejected.
It is currently unknown when Ibrahim made his way to Britain, and indeed how long he had resided in the country following the rejection of his asylum application.
Commenting on the sentencing, conservative broadcaster Nigel Farage tweeted: “If this failed ‘asylum seeker’ had been deported after his claim was rejected he wouldn’t have been in the country to commit rape.
“Tory immigration policy is making our country less safe,” he added.
Meanwhile, the true extent of the asylum backlog in Britain was unearthed on Thursday after Home Office data revealed more than 150,000 people are currently residing in Britain awaiting a decision on their asylum application for which some requests date back more than two years.
Cultural guerrilla warfare means that the freedom community uses its extensive advantages against the disadvantages of the anti-freedom far-left.
The basics start with making it fun for several reasons — beginning with being a happy warrior, and sometimes because you’ll just have to laugh, or you’ll cry. What is even funnier is that we are directly using several of Saul Alinsky’s “Rules for Radicals” against them, as suggested by the book Rules for Anti-Radicals:
RULE 3: “Wherever possible go outside of the experience of the enemy. Here you want to cause confusion, fear, and retreat.”

RULE 6: “A good tactic is one that your people enjoy. If your people are not having a ball doing it, there is something very wrong with the tactic.”
Think about it this way: at this point, the far left is all tied up in contradictions, trying not to “offend” anyone. Humor is usually about skewering society’s “sacred cows,” but these days, just about everything is a sacred cow, so they can’t laugh or have fun.
Having fun is outside their experience. Did it seem as though the empire in Star Wars or the National Socialist German Workers’ Party was having any fun? That noise you just heard was them losing their cookies at the fact that we’re not ignoring their ongoing attempt at constantly rewriting history. They just cannot deal with the fact that we see through their Big Lie bluff.
Besides, everything for them is based on the latest “serious crisis,” so they can’t let their guard down for a moment (cue Greta Thunberg spitting, “How dare you?“). This is the starting point for fighting the fascist far left: we can laugh and have fun at the expense of their woke empire. That alone should make it worthwhile.
Motivating the majority, not the tyrannical ten percent
The second important consideration in cultural guerrilla warfare is that we’re out to convince the majority in the middle, not the fascist far-left. They are only a small portion of the population, so who cares what they think?
Granted, they hold the propaganda high ground, but that’s becoming more and more untenable. The ratings show that fewer and fewer people are tuning in to the propaganda press for the nation’s socialist left.
Polling indicates that hardly anyone believes a word they say, despite that they have bestowed upon themselves the title of fact-checkers to the universe, knowers of all knowledge, and writers of all that is right.
Everyone on the pro-freedom side of the political spectrum needs to keep this important fact in mind. The anti-freedom far leftists always work to obscure that they are the fringe and an extreme political minority. That is the reason why they always play games with political labels and lie with language: to confuse and confound the people as to just who they are until it is too late.
Taking them at their “word,” they are what they project
Have you ever noticed how easy it is to figure out the plans and intentions of the far left these days?
It’s easy because they can’t help using their most egregious tactic in accusing the pro-freedom side of exactly what they are doing.
It’s obvious they are out to destroy our constitutional republic, yet they continually blather on about our side being a “threat to democracy” (setting aside their deliberate ignorance on that issue).
Well, since they keep falling back on this rhetorical crutch, we might as well take advantage of that. From now on, we just take any of their false accusations as projections on their part and call them out on this basis.
Call out their lies and ask if anyone can trust them on anything else
Let’s face it: leftist is synonymous with liar. It’s the only way they can survive. They would be run out of town on a rail if the people knew their true nature, so they have to constantly gaslight and deceive to be politically viable.
How many times have they claimed that no one is talking about confiscating guns? When we’ve proven that they’ve been doing so for 30 years? Not to mention their pushing of unconstitutional “red flag” gun confiscation orders all over the states. There is a funny thing about the laws for these unconstitutional gun confiscations: there seems to be a lot of talk about gun confiscations surrounding them for some odd reason.
How many times have they accused Ron DeSantis of being an “authoritarian” without backing it up with evidence? How many times have they accused the pro-freedom side of the political spectrum of being fascists when they can’t even get the basic facts on the issue correct?
We originally had thought to label this along the lines of always pointing out their lies, but whom are we kidding? Anti-freedom authoritarians of the far left base most of their socialist national agenda on lies, so we would be doing that all the time. Better to point out their near-constant use of lies as a way of discrediting their trustworthiness.
The bottom line in all of this is that we’re saying we can have a load of fun going after people who think they know how to run your life and that have to constantly lie, project, and have way too high an opinion of themselves (just ask them). Those are their severe weaknesses; they will be their downfall.
Politicians speak out on many issues. Sometimes, however, it is more significant on which issues they remain silent. This is even more true when it comes to Israel-related anti-Semitism.
It was just a week ago that Claudia Roth (The Greens), Minister of State for Culture, pithily emphasised in an interview with this newspaper: “I very clearly reject BDS.” She said that hatred of Israel in the cultural sector had to be countered with commitment.
But what does it look like when anti-Semitism is actually shown in Berlin’s cultural scene? The answer is as meaningful as it is shameful: the never-again invocations of the aforementioned politicians then promptly fall flat. And even worse: those who express anti-Semitism even receive public funding. The most recent example is the African Book Festival, which takes place in Berlin in August and receives 95,000 euros from the Capital Cultural Fund.
Mohamedou Ould Slahi Houbeini, of all people, was appointed its curator – a former Al-Qaida supporter and Guantanamo prisoner who is said to have renounced Islamism in the meantime. Obviously still present in abundance is his hatred of the Jewish state. Houbeini, who was born in Mauritania, likes to cover it up with anti-Semitic insinuations such as: Israel commits “ethnic cleansing” or is an “apartheid state” through and through.
Just imagine if a former right-wing radical artist from the American Midwest, who continues to agitate against Israel, became the curator of a state-supported festival in Germany: the outcry would be great! And rightly so. But it is a remarkable phenomenon: as soon as someone comes from the so-called Global South and belongs to the left, criticism is dispensed with.
Can there really be a discount on anti-Semitic attitudes as long as they come from a certain political or religious milieu? Will there be a continuation in Berlin in August of what we experienced for months at the documenta? The left in Germany should urgently reflect on these questions.
Schoolgirls protest against a recent alleged assault by Afghan asylum seekers against a fellow student at a school in Kent. The suspects were arrested and interviewed but subsequently released without charge.
The incident saw four suspects, all of whom were Afghan asylum seekers determined to be of school age, arrested by police, who conducted an investigation into the alleged assault.
In a statement, Kent Police revealed the suspects had been released without charge.
“Kent Police carried out a full, thorough, and sensitive investigation into the incident which reportedly involved a teenage girl and a teenage boy on Monday, Feb. 6, 2023.
“No evidence of a criminal offense having taken place has been established and no further action is to be taken, unless any relevant additional information is received.”
At the time of the arrests, the victim was interviewed by specialist officers. The Sun newspaper reported the victim was “distressed” by the unproven attack and eventually withdrew her cooperation from the police inquiry without public explanation.

Schoolgirls at the Astor School in Dover took to the school gates on Tuesday in protest at the school’s decision to allow the suspects back into the educational facility.
With hand prints on their chests and red paint on their faces, one protester can be seen telling an interviewer in video footage on social media that the school thinks “it’s not that serious because they’ve let those boys come back into our school without an issue.”
Asked whether the alleged victim has returned to school, one girl replied: “No, because she’s frightened. She’s traumatized. As a community, we are terrified for ourselves and for that girl.”
In Dover outside Astor College, students and parents speak out about the constant sexual abuse being experienced by girls at the school.
Some girls are calling for the principal and vice principal to be removed immediately.

The girls were asked about the unproven attack and whether it took place on school premises, to which one girl replied: “Yes, allegedly, and nothing has been done about that. No one has taken into consideration that the boys will do it again. (The school’s) main concern is us causing a riot.”
The protesters also demonstrated outside Dover police station holding placards that read, “Educate your sons,” and, “My body, my choice.”

Local Conservative MP Natalie Elphicke commented on the protests in a tweet: “Concerns have been expressed about personal safety by many students at a Dover school. These are such serious matters that I have raised them directly with the Policing Minister and the Kent Police and Crime Commissioners today.”
Alex Phillips, a political advisor for the Reform UK party, called the protest a “powder keg.”
“What’s done to ensure men from other cultures adopt our values? The protection of girls is far more important than the offense. We should have learned from grooming gangs,” she added.

During his State of the Union address on Tuesday, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced that the New Start treaty, which limits Russia’s and the United States’ nuclear arsenals, would be suspended.
The suspension of the last major nuclear disarmament treaty with the United States was not an exit, but a suspension, the Russian leader emphasized in his speech to the Federal Assembly.
After the suspension of the Measures for the Further Reduction and Limitation of Strategic Offensive Arms (New START), Russia has the right to increase its strategic nuclear forces to the level of the total potential of NATO countries. This was stated to RIA Novosti by the editor-in-chief of the National Defense magazine Igor Korotchenko.
The expert noted that if Western countries refuse to accept the Russian position, building up Russia’s nuclear potential becomes imperative.
“If there is no reaction, Russia has every right to increase the numerical and qualitative composition of its strategic nuclear triad to the level of the total potential in the field of strategic offensive weapons of the United States, Great Britain and France,” Korotchenko said.
Washington considering nuclear weapons tests
According to Putin, Washington is considering nuclear weapons tests. If these are carried out, Moscow would also carry out such tests. The Russian Ministry of Defense and the Russian atomic energy company Rosatom should be ready if the Biden administration decides to make the first move. “We certainly won’t be the first to do this, but if the US conducts a test, so will we,” he explained.
The treaty limits the nuclear arsenals of both countries to 800 delivery systems and 1 550 operational warheads each. The contract was signed in 2010 by Dmitry Medvedev and Barack Obama for a period of ten years, with the possibility of an extension. It came into force in 2011. The UK government has been accused of granting an “amnesty in all but name” to migrants coming to Britain, with the country announcing it will accept thousands of people’s requests to stay in the country without so much as even interviewing them in a bid to clear its application backlog.
Thousands of migrants are set to be given the right to stay in Britain without any government worker ever interviewing them, with the Rishi Sunak administration announcing on Thursday that it will start granting asylum to large numbers of foreign arrivals without interviews.
Britain’s Tory Party has hailed the decision as a way to reduce the country’s record-high backlog of asylum claims, but critics have slammed the move, with one major border control think-tank describing it as “an amnesty in all but name”.
According to a report by The Times, in the hopes of processing asylum claims faster, all migrants who claim to have arrived from Afghanistan, Eritrea, Syria, Yemen and Libya before June last year will be sent ten-page questionnaires asking them about their claims.
So long as these migrants return this questionnaire within 20 working days, they will be granted asylum so long as officials from the Home Office believe there is enough evidence present in the paperwork to do so, with the migrants being able to bypass any interview where they might be scrutinised.
“This is an amnesty in all but name,” Alp Mehmet, the Chairman of border control think-tank Migration Watch, explained to Breitbart London.
“The message to the criminal gangs is, if you get your clients to destroy their ID and claim to be from a ‘high success’ country, they’ll be tick-boxed into the UK,” he continued. “The triple killer of Tom Roberts came from such a country, and had been denied asylum in Norway before our already-lax system allowed him to con his way in.”
He went on to warn that the plan — which is said will affect around 12,000 migrants in the short term — is a “dangerous folly”, and that the UK Home Secretary, Suella Braverman, should “think again” before proceeding with it.
Mehmet is not the only individual with such an opinion, with even members of the Conservative Party coming out on Thursday to attack the move.
“No matter how people want to dress this up, this is an amnesty and will cause an outcry in many constituencies,” one unnamed party MP toldThe Telegraph, who argued that the move would only end up increasing immigration into Britain, not help tackle the backlog.
“Rishi will become the poster boy for the smuggling gangs, and encourage yet more to come across the Channel,” he went on to explain.
Lawyers have also reportedly warned that the suggestion of handing migrants forms to fill out to finish their asylum claims could end up not working, with there being a danger that they could disappear into Britain’s criminal underworld long before the state realises they are unaccounted for.
Despite the obvious concern about opening the country to thousands without due diligence, in most cases, all of the migrants immediately impacted by this amnesty would have been allowed to stay anyway. Offical statistics indicate that over 95 per cent of migrants who claim they are from Afghanistan, Eritrea, Syria, Yemen and Libya have their requests for protection granted.
The scheme is also in keeping with other measures being heavily pushed or implemented by other Western nations.
U.S. President Joe Biden has been keen to see his country grant a large number of illegal migrants amnesty, dedicating part of his recent State of the Union address to push for the American government to grant these “essential workers” the right to stay.
Ireland meanwhile has already implemented its mass migrant amnesty, which saw a large number of illegals — some of whom may have had criminal convictions — the right to stay in the country legally, as well as even earn Irish and EU citizenship in the future.

While Bharat’s Western “allies” rail against us at every conceivable opportunity over our alleged ‘oppression of minorities’, and keep falsely branding us as an ‘authoritarian society’ in their rigged rankings, they hardly ever raise the issue of the ongoing genocide of Hindus and other minorities in Pakistan.

Sadly, the ordeal of these persecuted Pakistani Hindus doesn’t end even when they arrive in ‘secular’ India. They are mostly forced to live in cramped refugee camps where they struggle for basic amenities and have to run around for paperwork before they can earn a living or send their children to school. The many years long battle of the Adarsh Nagar refugee camp in New Delhi just to obtain an electricity connection, despite approaching various BJP MPs/ministers and bigwigs, is a case in point. The much-needed CAA law was introduced but has yet to be implemented by the Home Ministry – it seems to have gone into deep freeze after the Islamist rioting from Dec 2019 onwards, culminating in the Feb 2020 Delhi riots.
Yet, despite the largely terrible living conditions even in Bharat, these poor Hindu refugees at least have the safety of knowing that someone won’t barge into their home and abduct their daughter at gunpoint. For that alone, they are thankful to Bhagwan.
On Tuesday, February 21, Nara Lokesh, the National General Secretary of the Telugu Desham Party (TDP) promised to establish an Islamic bank if the party comes to power in Andhra Pradesh.
After a two-day break, he began his padayatra, “Yuva Galam,” on Tuesday. Nara Lokesh spoke with Muslim community representatives in Srikalahasti, Tirupati district, and reminisced how N T Rama Rao, the TDP’s founder, established the Minority Corporation. Lokesh also claimed that CM Jagan Mohan Reddy has discontinued all the welfare schemes launched by the prior TDP government and promised to restore them if voted to power.
Following this, the Andhra Pradesh unit of the Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) slammed the TDP leader calling the promise to set up an Islamic Bank an ‘ill-conceived’ move. In a statement released on Wednesday, the BJP leader Duddakunta Venkateswara Reddy said, “We want to know if Nara Lokesh actually knows anything about Islamic Bank.”
Claiming that even the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has earlier opposed the proposal of setting up an Islamic Bank, the BJP leader asserted that “while the BJP is trying to unite the country divided on religious lines as the Central government is restoring the original names changed during the colonial rule to propagate a feeling of national unity, the TDP leader is talking about Islamic Bank.”
Moreover, Reddy stated that the TDP leader’s statement regarding Islamic Bank has hurt the sentiments of the Hindu community.

Islamic Banking
Islamic banking is a form of banking that complies with Sharia laws which prohibits charging interest or Riba. Islamic banking claims to offer interest-free banking and functions on the principles of the Quran.
The Islamic banking system needs to upsell goods in order to turn a profit. For instance, if a consumer needs a loan to buy something, the Islamic bank will buy it and resell it to the customer at a higher price. This loophole allows Islamic banks to earn profits from customers without really charging interest on loans or other payments.
A major concern regarding Islamic banking is that Islamic banks can grant or deny funds to customers depending upon their interpretation of the Quran. Such banks may also indulge in furthering radical Islamist propaganda by funding extremist activities.
Sharia Index and Sharia Mutual Funds
Interestingly, although RBI disallowed Islamic Banking, there are Sharia Index in India that can be defined as an index of companies that are compliant with the Shariah Law. These companies are screened by an authorized board before getting listed in the indices. In India, there are four main indices that index Shariah-compliant companies that are S&P BSE 500 Shariah Index, BSE Tasis Shariah 50 Index, the Nifty 500 Shariah Index, and the Nifty 50 Shariah Index.
In the market, there are also mutual funds that adhere to Sharia. The top three mutual funds in this category are Nippon India ETF Shariah Bees, Taurus Ethical Fund, and Tata Ethical Fund. Such Sharia-compliant funds mostly include those companies that adhere to the principles ordained under ’Halal’. Sharia-compliant mutual funds don’t invest in companies engaged in businesses not permissible under Islam, such as alcoholic beverage companies.
Controversies around Islamic Banking in India
A Shariah Complaint window, commonly referred to as Islamic Banking or Sharia Banking, was recommended by the Reserve Bank of India in 2016. The idea was scrapped later in 2017 after receiving severe criticism and the center’s lack of interest.
Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi, the minister for minority affairs, had remarked at the time, “India is a secular and democratic country, and the government will not permit Islamic banking.”
“The current financial system is open to all, and there are many government and scheduled banks. Thus, the government is not considering implementing the idea of Islamic banking. We have no intention of introducing Islamic banking, notwithstanding suggestions from some organizations and individuals,” he stated.
In 2016, an RTI was filed where a copy of the letter was sent by the Finance Ministry on the recommendations of the Inner Department Group regarding Shariah Banking. The Ministry rejected it under Section 8(1)(c) of the RTI Act.
The idea for Islamic Banking was first proposed in a report titled A Hundred Small Steps prepared by a high-level committee on Financial Sector Reforms headed by Raghuram Rajan in 2008.

The report made a reference to Islamic banking although it did not use the terms Sharia-compliant banking or Islamic banking. It was stated that several religions forbid the use of interest-bearing financial instruments, which strongly suggests Islam since Islam is the only religion where receiving interest on money is prohibited.
Several cases wherein operators of Sharia-compliant Muslim Fund or ‘private’ banks have duped Muslims have been reported.
In January this year, a Muslim Fund operator in Uttarakhand’s Jwalapur ran awayalong with crores of rupees that were deposited by thousands of Muslims in the ‘Muslim Fund’. Abdul Razzaq, the accused in the case was running an interest-free transaction office in Jwalapur in the name of the Muslim Imdadi Fund for the last 10 years. Thousands of Muslims, including those in Jwalapur and the surrounding areas, have opened accounts with him and daily contribute a portion of their income to the fund.
Notably, a similar case was reported in Uttar Pradesh’s Bijnor in April last year, wherein Bijnor Police arrested a person identified as Mohammed Faizi. He had absconded after duping customers of the Muslim faith of crores of rupees in the name of a ‘Sharia-compliant Muslim Fund’ named Al-Faizan Muslim Trust.
