Number of passengers doubled in 2022 despite doomsday predictions

screen grab

Something doesn’t add up. While climate activists are warning us about the end of the world, the number of passengers doubled in 2022. In other words: A massively growing number of people are using the air’s “dirty” transport and are responsible for copious amounts of CO2 emissions.

The increasingly radical warnings of the climate movement have apparently fallen on deaf ears: those of the passengers. The most recent passenger numbers published by the 23 largest German commercial airports for 2022 show that the number of passengers has more than doubled.

This evidently shows that climate hysteria is not a popular theme although the mainstream media would like us to believe otherwise.

According to the German Statistical Office (Destatis), German airports counted 155.2 million passengers. This corresponded to an increase of no less than 111 percent over the previous year. Of course, the Corona pandemic was at its peak in 2021, which was accompanied by massive restrictions on air traffic worldwide.

As far as the number of passengers before the pandemic is concerned, a total of 226.7 million passengers were counted in Germany in 2019, an all-time high. If you look at the significant growth from the previous year, the number of passengers is moving towards this record again – despite increased climate hysteria.

Speaking of climate hysteria: Two of the climate activists, a couple, joined the legions of passengers last year. Instead of attending a court date because of their participation in a road blockade near Stuttgart, they jetted to the beaches of Southeast Asia on a decidedly “climate-unfriendly” long-distance flight.

Double standards: In Bali instead of in court

Not only “long-distance Luisa” Neubauer (Greta Thunberg’s best friend) jets constantly around the world. The climate activist couple could not appear at their trial because they were on vacation in the Far East. Their organization, Last Generation, justified the double standard.

In September 2022, the two members of Last Generation Yannick S. and his girlfriend Luisa S. blocked commuter traffic in Stuttgart with a banner “Save oil, don’t drill”. They had to answer for their punishable action in court. But they couldn’t come because they had started a long-distance journey. The climateers flew a total of 23 000 kilometers by plane to Thailand and Bali and eventually back.

So they are currently doing exactly what they protested against. According to German daily Bild, the CO2 balance for the long-haul flights is 7.9 tons. The Last Generation has also justified airport blockades by claiming that only “a wealthy percentage of the population” can undertake such trips.

Climateers are supposedly allowed to do this privately

Because of the blockade of a main road, the 24-year-old had to face justice. His girlfriend, who is two years his junior, was summoned as a witness before the district court in Bad Cannstatt. When the judge asked the other defendants where they were, it was said that they were vacationing in the Far East; first in Thailand, then in Bali.

A spokesman for the Last Generation actually defended the glaring double standards of the two: “They booked the flight as private individuals, not as climate protectors. You have to keep that separate.”

Luisa Neubauer, spokeswoman for Fridays for Future is struggling with similar image problems. Because she had boasted about travelling to Indonesia, China, Canada, Hong Kong, Morocco and Namibia at the age of 26, she was nicknamed “long-distance Luisa” on social networks.

Why, Why, Why? Woke Welsh Rugby Bosses Axe Tom Jones Song ‘Delilah’

screen grab youtube

Crowds attending international rugby matches in Wales at the Principality Stadium will no longer hear choral renditions of the Tom Jones classic Delilah after it was banned Wednesday by the game’s organizers.

The hugely popular song was first excised from half-time playlists in 2015 after critics said lyrics depicting the murder of a woman by her jealous partner could cause offence to those with delicate sensibilities.

A stadium spokesman told the BBC it was “respectfully aware that it is problematic” and now pre-match crowds in Cardiff will also be denied hearing it from guest choirs.

The decision follows a week in which the chief executive of the Welsh Rugby Union was forced to resign, following allegations of sexism, misogyny and racism within the organisation.

Wales winger Louis Rees-Zammit made an oblique reference to the decision via Twitter on Wednesday afternoon: “All the things they need to do and they do that first…”

Others joined him to point out the absurdity of banning songs.

But the Welsh Conservative shadow sport minister Tom Giffard called the decision “wrongheaded”.

“One that amounts to simple virtue signalling, designed to ease the pressure the WRU are currently under,” he said. “Calls to ban the song span at least the last decade, yet the WRU have chosen now to act.”

This is not the first time rugby fans have been scolded over their love of songs and community singing.

As Breitbart News reported, the unofficial anthem of England rugby, Swing Low, Sweet Chariot, was branded “cultural appropriation” of a traditional African American slave song by a U.S. academic in 2017.

Watch below as rugby fans join to sing ‘Swing Low, Sweet Chariot’ at Twickenham:

Josephine Wright, a professor of music and black studies at the College of Wooster in Ohio, told the New York Times: “Such cross-cultural appropriations of U.S. slave songs betray a total lack of understanding of the historical context in which those songs were created by the American slave.”

The song was first adopted by English rugby fans in 1988 when England beat Ireland at Twickenham following an impressive come-from-behind win.

It has been sung at matches involving the national team ever since while artists including UB40, Ladysmith Black Mambazo and Ella Eyre have released their own rugby-inspired versions.

Los Angeles-based Prince Harry issued his own call for a review of the song’s use in 2020.

Rugby fans have happily ignored the U.S. academic’s disapproval – and that of Prince Harry – and continue singing Swing Low, Sweet Chariot at Twickenham to this day.

Germany: Iraqi woman Shahraban along with her boyfriend kills Instagram ‘lookalike’ by stabbing her more than 50 times, to fake her own death

Accused Shahraban K (L), deceased Khadidja O (R), source: telegraph.co.uk

In a horrific incident, Shahraban K, a 23-year-old German woman of Iraqi origin has been accused of mercilessly killing her doppelganger in an attempt to fake her own death. As per details disclosed by the German authorities on Monday (January 30), the accused took the assistance of her boyfriend Sheqir K to execute the heinous crime in the month of August last year.

Sharaban K and her friend Sheqir K, accused of assisting in the plot, were arrestedon August 19, 2022, but the entire scope of the investigation and their alleged intentions were not made public by officials until Monday this week.

Veronika Grieser of the Ingolstadt state prosecutor’s office was quoted by The Guardian as saying on Monday, “Investigations have led us to assume that the accused wanted to go into hiding because of a family dispute and fake her own death to that effect.”

According to reports, in the week before the murder, the accused, who lived in Munich in Germany, contacted several women who resembled her and were operating on social media sites under numerous aliases on Instagram. The accused then narrowed down on the victim- a cosmetics blogger and an Algerian citizen Khadidja O (23), who lived about 100 miles away.

According to authorities, Shahraban K and her boyfriend, Sheqir K approached Khadidja O and lured her by offering her cosmetic products. Khadidja O agreed to meet the duo. The accused, on the day of the murder, went to Khadidja’s house to pick her up.

On their way back, when the car reached a section of woodland between Heilbronn and Ingolstadt, the accused duo reportedly drew up an excuse for the Algerian woman to step outside the vehicle. As soon as she got down, the accused brutally stabbed the victim around 50 times, leaving her face completely disfigured.

Reportedly, before going to meet the victim, accused Shahraban had told her husband that she was going to see her ex-husband. However, when Shahraban didn’t return, her parents began searching for her in Ingolstadt, a city in Bavaria, Germany. Upon searching, they came across her Mercedes car near the banks of the famous Danube river.

As they approached the car, they saw the body of a dark-haired young woman brutally murdered in the back seat of the car, and they thought it was their daughter.

According to police, several knives were found near the car, which was reportedly discovered not far from Shahraban’s boyfriend Sheqir K’s flat.

Initially, due to the uncanny resemblance between the deceased and the accused, the latter’s family members identified the body. However, an autopsy report that came in the next day and subsequent DNA reports proved that the body was actually Khadidja O, an Algerian beauty blogger from Heilbronn in the neighbouring state of Baden-Württemberg.

The German police arrested Shahraban K and Sheqir K for the brutal murder.

“The crime weapon has not been found, but the evidence is overwhelming,” a police spokesperson, Andreas Aichele, told the tabloid Bild. “The victim was killed with over 50 thrusts of the knife, the face completely disfigured.”

French police unions furious at internal memo banning car chases

Motorbikes confiscated at the Marseille central police station in France. While the Interior Minister cited the scourge of ‘urban rodeos’, it is well known that drug criminals use them to evade capture.Twitter

A video released by a police union denounces an internal memo banning officers from chasing fleeing offenders. The memo coincides with a marked rise in crime.

The video was published on Wednesday (1 February) by a police union denouncing an internal memo forbidding officials to pursue fleeing criminals, reported CNews. The video, published by the Alliance police union and based on computer-generated images and an authentic police radio exchange, shows police officers chasing a man driving a stolen car. “Due to note 89, stop following,” one can hear. “I acknowledge receipt of this note,” replies one of the police officers in intervention. The pursuit of the offender is then interrupted.

This “note 89” is authentic and actually exists. It requires police officers to pursue a vehicle only in very serious cases, such as the escape or evasion of a dangerous individual, or the tracking of a perpetrator of a blood crime. For other situations, considered less serious, there should be no systematic chase.

An internal memo is therefore calling for a relaxation of this rule.

“We even have individuals who taunt us on stolen motorbikes,” Alain Barberis, departmental secretary of Rhône Alliance, told CNews. “It’s unbearable. The police are there to maintain order,” he concluded.

Delinquency up sharply in Île-de-France, with Paris and Seine-Saint-Denis well ahead

According to the latest figures from the Ministry of the Interior, all crime indicators have risen sharply in Île-de-France in 2022.

After two consecutive years of decline, delinquency rose again in 2022. This was revealed in the annual statistics of the Ministry of the Interior published on Tuesday 31 January and reported in Le Parisien on Wednesday 1 February. Most crimes and offences increased last year in Île-de-France, with the exception of violent robberies.

According to the ministry’s statement, Seine-Saint-Denis alone saw an increase of 22.8 percent in domestic violence alone, while cases of sexual violence recorded in the capital rose by almost 20 percent. In Paris and the Yvelines, drug use is the type of crime that has increased the most in 2022, with an increase of 37.8 percent in one year. Intra-family violence has also seen a significant rise. They have increased in particular in the Paris suburbs, with rises of 22.8 percent in the immigrant zone of Seine-Saint-Denis and 15 percent in Val-de-Marne.

The great return of international syndicates

Another notable increase is the theft of car accessories, which has jumped by 25.7 percent in the Île-de-France region. According to Le Parisien, this trend is due to the return of international crime syndicates to the region. The same applies to the number of burglaries, which is also on the rise. They have increased by 5.3 percent in Île-de-France. The increase is 8,8 percent in the capital itself.

The only positive point is the drop in violent robberies, which have fallen by 20 percent in the Ile-de-France region. This trend is attributed by the new Paris police prefect, Laurent Nuñez, to the reinforcement of the number of police officers in sensitive areas such as railway stations and theme parks.

High-flying Austrian FPÖ launches full-on assault on ‘catastrophic’ economic policies from government wedded to Brussels

screen grab youtube

The opposition Freedom Party (FPÖ) in Austria has upped its level of attack on the current administration, accusing the incumbent People’s Party (ÖVP) of being blindly led by the European Union and implementing policies that have had catastrophic consequences for the Austrian people.

In a debate in the National Council on Tuesday, FPÖ energy spokesman Axel Kassegger called for a radical change to the government’s energy policy, which he claimed has driven the Austrian “homeland into an economic war.”

Kassegger slammed ÖVP for its economy-destroying coronavirus rules and for blindly adopting Brussels’ anti-Russian energy sanctions — which he called a “knee-jerk” policy. He called for an end to the sanctions and for the government to “start peace talks.”

He said the current coalition had “fueled the problems and crises through their actions and policies,” claiming, “The crisis did not fall from the sky but was produced by this federal government itself.”

The ÖVP-led administration is still acting “completely excessively” to the coronavirus pandemic with “emergency regulations” that are crippling businesses and making life more expensive for the Austrian people, Kassegger told lawmakers.

On the country’s climate policy, the FPÖ politician accused Chancellor Karl Nehammer (ÖVP) of succumbing to the whims of his coalition partner, the Green party, “who want to save the global climate at the expense of their own population and with a completely wrong approach.” He called for an end to the “demonization of coal, gas, and oil.”

“That leads to nothing, except for emigration and the associated destruction of our industry,” Kassegger said. “Let’s make a reasonable energy policy (…) Of course, expand renewable energies, but please do not forget about grid stability and grid expansion.

“We need €18 billion, and the federal government is putting the brakes on it,” he said in reference to the level of investment he believes is needed to secure the country’s energy security.

He endorsed remarks made recently by former Chamber of Commerce President Christoph Leitl who said in an interview, “I don’t see anyone in the federal government or the European Commission who really represents the interests of Austrians and Europeans.”

“ÖVP and the Green party wants to please Brussels instead of representing the interests of the Austrians,” emphasized the FPÖ energy spokesman, revealing his party had submitted dozens of applications to the EU main committee on how to better tackle the energy crisis, “all of which have been rejected,” he said.

Kassegger’s remarks were corroborated by FPÖ MP Roman Haider who spoke in the same debate. He claimed the “massive price explosion” experienced in Austria’s energy market was a direct result of “the European Union’s misguided energy policy.”

“Inexpensive natural gas from Russia was exchanged for expensive LNG and fracking gas from the USA and Qatar,” Haider told his parliamentary colleagues.

“Without question, the Russian war of aggression in Ukraine should be condemned in the strongest possible terms, but the sanctions in the energy sector do not end this aggression, nor will they lead to Russian bankruptcy, because Russian raw materials are now flowing to other countries,” Haider explained.

On the issue of greener energy in general, Haider stressed that “even if all of Europe were plastered with wind turbines, we would still need fossil fuels in the future.”

“In view of this misguided European energy policy, I, unfortunately, view our economy in Europe pessimistically. The energy policy of both the EU and the black-green government is catastrophic. This energy policy is a serious threat to the livelihoods of Europeans,” he added.

FPÖ’s popularity among the electorate has skyrocketed in recent polls, and the party is now the top party in Austria for the first time in seven years.

The party is also known for its strict line on immigration. A dramatic rise in asylum applications last year has seen Austrian Minister of the Interior Erhard Karner (ÖVP) call for Brussels to allow for stricter measures to contain the flow, a move FPÖ claims is simply paying lip service to the issue without any real intent on solving the problem. In 2022, Austria had nearly 60,000 asylum applications, almost triple the figure recorded in the previous year.

The party saw its newfound popularity bear fruit in Sunday’s regional elections in Lower Austria where FPÖ secured 24.2 percent of the vote, up 9 percentage points from last time.

FPÖ federal party manager Christian Hafenecker said on Sunday evening, “This is the beginning,” revealing further ambitions to propel the party back into power.

One such policy recently proposed by the party is for a referendum on the anti-Russian sanctions and on arms shipments to Ukraine.

“We want to ask the population how they feel about the current sanctions policy against Russia and arms exports to Ukraine,” said MEP Harald Vilimsky, head of the party’s delegation in the European Parliament on Monday.

The party believes the Austrian people will agree that sanctions on Russia are proving to be too high of a burden for ordinary people to bear and that they have only helped to drive inflation higher across the country.

Biden family values: Hunter Biden refused to pay employee unless she showered naked for him

By Monica Showalter

So where’s the #MeToo movement on this one?

Hunter Biden threatened one of his cash-strapped young female staffers with withholding her pay if she didn’t FaceTime him for sex.

Shocking texts between the President’s son, 52, and his young assistant, who was 29 at the time, show Hunter asking for video sex sessions and sending her cash via Apple Pay after she pleaded that she was struggling to make rent.

The woman, who DailyMail.com has chosen not to identify, worked as an assistant at Hunter’s law firm, Owasco, in 2018 and 2019. She is the fourth employee he is known to have had a sexual relationship with.

Documents on his abandoned laptop show Hunter put his lover and brother’s widow Hallie Biden on his company payroll, as well as her sister Liz Secundy, with whom he also had an affair, texts reveal.

That’s from the Daily Mail. Here’s more from PJMedia:

Texts show that Hunter demanded the impecunious coquette FaceTime (FT) him so he could watch her shower and “do what she does when she is alone” if she wanted her pay. Messages show it took him several months to send the woman her wages.

The unnamed woman worked as Hunter’s assistant at his company, Owasco. She tried to contact Hunter when her direct deposit payment of $837.06 didn’t arrive and her insurance was turned down by a dentist. She told Hunter she couldn’t afford to pay her rent.

It appears Hunter failed to pay her for several months.

It took two months for Hunter to send her a paltry $500 — and an apology for “treating her so poorly.” He claimed he had “‘really no money’ due to ‘alimony tuitions and other sh*t like girls insurance etc.’”

So we have a basic conflict of interest with Hunter “doing” the help. We also have the unjust deprivation of wages for lawful employment. Then we have coercion to tie them together — a money relationship based on sex, a cheating of wages, and wage payments  conditioned on sexual performance.

This allegation, straight from the emails of the Hunter Biden laptop, almost make #meToo perverts like Harvey Weinstein and Andrew Cuomo look like pikers. Hunter Biden is well, well, well in their league except that he was so much grosser — and he remains so untouchable, so to speak.

How many investigations has Joe Biden’s Department of Labor got going for workers deprived of their wages? Why isn’t the press all over this stuff, given its sexist, coercive nature? It’s not enough to say the matter was too gross to report — they had no problem reporting on Cuomo’s misdeeds or Weinstein’s. And where on earth are the pious feminists? If they thought Bill Clinton was worth losing their credibility over, what does this say about their claims to favoring women’s equality in the workplace?

It raises questions about the Bidens themselves and their Biden family values. What gives a loser like Hunter Biden, whose main interest seems to be playing with his private parts, the idea that he can coerce and cheat like that, particularly since he was ordered by courts to pay child support for a child born to a stripper he was having a fling with at roughly the same time? This stinks of some kind of divine right of kings or king-and-concubines, or whatever it’s called. And as PJMedia’s Kevin Downey Jr. notes, what is it about the Bidens and their showers?

Obviously, he was steeped in a culture of Bidenhood, which is increasingly coming to being revealed as sexist and rather violent and cruel to women who allowed themselves to be used. It also was illegal. But with so much illegality going on in that family, what’s a little sexual coercion?

Nigerian Lawmaker On Trial For Organ Harvesting in London

World Hijab Day Celebrates Islamic Rape Culture – “If she was in her room, in her home, in her Hijab, no problem would have occurred”

Today, Feb 1 is World Hijab Day. The annual Islamist event commemorates the return of the Ayatollah Khomeini and the beginning of the mandatory ‘Hijabization’ of women in Iran.

While women in Iran are risking their lives to remove their hijabs, facing arrests, beatings and even death, the media in this country, much like the media in Iran, continues promoting the hijab.

The origins of the hijab are ugly and you won’t hear about them on World Hijab Day.

The Prophet Mohammed had to recruit a gang of rapists with promises of capturing and raping young girls.

Since the various rapists also had wives, and since Islam frowns on Muslim men assaulting each other’s wives (the wives of non-Muslims however are fair game, as Koran 4:24 states, “And all married women are forbidden unto you save those captives whom your right hand possess”), the hijab, the burka, the abaya and all the other exciting ways to repress women arrived to distinguish the women that could be raped from those who couldn’t.

“O Prophet! Tell your wives and your daughters and the women of the believers to draw their cloaks all over their bodies that they may thus be distinguished and not molested,” Koran 33:59 states.

A commentator on the Koran adds, “It is more likely that this way they may be recognized (as pious, free women), and may not be hurt (considered by mistake as roving slave girls.)”

It’s always awkward when you confuse your wife, or somebody else’s wife with one of those roving slave girls.

Muslim women cover their hair and elbows to show that they’re the property of a Muslim man.

In response to a gang rape, the Chief Mufti of Australia said, “If she was in her room, in her home, in her Hijab, no problem would have occurred.”

By wearing the Burqa or Hijab, women participate in a narrative that gives rapists a pass for sexual assaults on women who don’t dress the way the Mufti or Imam says they should.

That’s what World Hijab Day is really about. Just ask the women of Iran or Afghanistan.
