Let’s Pay Attention To The Experts Who Challenged The COVID Narrative

Even from the start of the mRNA vaccine rollout, a small number of physicians were sounding an alarm about the dangers of Operation Warp Speed and the safety protocols that the mRNA vaccine development bypassed. Near the end of year three of dealing with COVID-19, much more is known about the efficacy of the new mRNA vaccines and their safety profile. This post sums up the information and concerns that multiple physicians have offered, all leading to one conclusion: the vaccine program needs to be stopped due to both safety concerns and lack of efficacy.

As the experimental vaccines were rolled out in December 2020, Dr. Michael Yeadon and Dr. Wolfgang Wodarg petitioned the EMA (the EU’s medicine regulator) to stop trials of mRNA vaccines due to potential concerns about the accuracy of COVID-19 PCR testing (proven inaccurate now), infertility concerns (still to be investigated), polyethylene glycol toxicity (minor and severe allergic reactions seen), and antibody-dependent enhancement (still being researched).

In May 2021, Dr. Peter McCullough led 57 scientists in a call for the vaccine program to stop due to safety signals that had arisen in the first six months of mRNA vaccine use. Some of their concerns were incomplete knowledge about a range of side effects, patients getting informed consent, certain low-risk age groups not requiring vaccination, and questions about whether patients understood the significance of the fact that the pharmaceutical companies were relieved from liability.

In June 2021, Dr. Tess Laurie sent a letter to MHRA (UK health organization) asking that the mRNA vaccine program be stopped. She asserted that side effects accumulating in the UK Yellow Card system revealed that the mRNA vaccines were no longer safe for humans.

Dr. Aseem Malhotra, a UK Cardiologist who originally promoted the vaccine and took the first vaccines, was on BBC TV a few weeks ago and was allowed to mention that the mRNA vaccines were associated with cardiovascular disease. He has called to stop the mRNA vaccine program.

Dr. Angus Dalgleish, Oncologist at St. Georges in London, has written a letter to British Medical Journal asking that the mRNA vaccine program be stopped. In his practice, he was seeing stable cancer patients have rapid recurrence and progression of their cancers after receiving their mRNA boosters. He also mentions other side effects, such as vascular, heart, and nerve injuries.

Dr. James Thorp, an OB-GYN for 30 years, points to Pfizer’s own data showing that the mRNA vaccines are not safe in pregnancy and should not be given to women of childbearing age. (Naomi Wolf has written about this at dailyclout.io.)

Dr. John Campbell, a UK nurse educator for over thirty years, has been doing video lessons about COVID and the vaccines on YouTube since the pandemic started. After noting the excess, unexplained deaths in the UK since vaccine rollout and that the risk/benefit analysis for vaccination had changed, he called for a pause in the mRNA vaccination program in December 2022. He called for a new analysis of the risk/benefit merits of the mRNA vaccine program in an open trial before further use of mRNA vaccines.

Dr. Abdullah Alabdulgadar, Cardiologist and President of The International Congress for Advanced Cardiac Science, said that, due to the risk of myocarditis in young adults and the increased risk of sudden cardiac death, the mRNA vaccine program should be stopped until more is known.

Dr. Richard Ennos, retired professor of Evolutionary Biology at Edinburgh University, published an extensive analysis of mRNA vaccines in Jan 2023, concluding “Glaring safety signals are apparent indicating harm to the lymph system, the heart, and the female reproductive systems. There can be no question that the mRNA vaccines should be withdrawn with immediate effect.”

Dr. Joseph Fraiman, ER doctor and lead author on peer-reviewed research in 2022 reanalyzing Pfizer and Moderna trials on mRNA vaccines, says his group has autopsy evidence that the mRNA vaccines are causing sudden cardiac death. He called for the mRNA vaccines to be pulled from the market now until more studies can be done to assess if any benefits from the vaccines outweigh the risks.

Dr. Paul Offit, Philadelphia pediatrician, FDA advisor, and vaccine expert, said in September that we should not approve the new, bivalent mRNA boosters based only on data from mouse studies. Recently, Dr. Offit penned a letter to the New England Journal of Medicine saying we should stop boosting young, healthy people with mRNA vaccines against strains that might disappear in a few months’ time.

Dr. Masanori Fukushima, professor emeritus at Kyoto University, physician-scientist, said in November 2022 that the “harm caused by the vaccines is now a worldwide problem.” and “given the wide range of adverse events, billions of lives could ultimately be in danger.” He has advocated for a more serious investigation of the vaccines with Japanese public health officials.

Last week, Dr. Retsef Levi, MIT professor with 30 years’ experience in risk analysis in health systems and safety/quality of manufacturing of biologic drugs, stated, “all COVID mRNA vaccination programs should stop immediately.” He stated that the efficacy claims have not been met, and the evidence shows they cause an unprecedented level of harm, including the death of young people and children.

Doctors for Patients, a new UK doctor group, has called for a stop to the vaccination program to investigate the safety profile of the mRNA vaccines before more are given. Canadian Covid Care Alliance produced a video in 2022 demonstrating that the Pfizer mRNA vaccines are causing more harm than goodMany physicians have said they will not take any new boosters.

Initially, there was a trickle of doctors that spoke out against the government, media, pharma, medical complex COVID narrative. Now, a stream of physicians and scientists have advised stopping the CoVID-19 mRNA vaccines.

The list above is not comprehensive. The ones listed are all excellent clinicians/scientists with impeccable credentials and vast experience. Many have spoken out with severe repercussions. They have been censored, de-platformed, threatened with losing their medical license and credentials, and fired from their jobs. Nevertheless, they’ve had the courage to follow the science and then communicate these findings to their patients and the world.

The pharmaceutical industry will never voluntarily admit error. Our politicians seem unlikely to admit their policies were ill-advised and damaging. It feels as if the mainstream media no longer has any real investigative journalists who will report the truth. They just endlessly parrot the narrative.

It is past time for the medical profession to speak out more and right this injustice. This stream of physicians/scientists speaking out must turn into a flood.

Will other physicians/scientists within the FDA and CDC find the courage to come forward? Will the large physician groups (AMA, ACP, ACOG, etc.) seriously investigate the excess deaths and vaccine injury? What about the physicians, physicians’ assistants, nurse practitioners, and nurses who have been through the COVID pandemic and seen what is happening in their practices and in the hospitals? Despite the consequences, will they have the courage to come forward and tell the truth? The time is now if medical providers will heed their oath to do no harm!

As Dr. Fukushima said, “billions of lives could ultimately be in danger.”

Sanction failures piling up

Western sanctions were supposed to “ruin” Russia not only economically, but also technologically – according to the well-known announcement by German Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock.

The ban on supplying electronics was intended to paralyze the Russian armaments industry. But Western war planners appear to have gotten even the most basic facts wrong. As is now apparent, an “isolated” Russia has managed to circumvent US-imposed sanctions in the technology sector. What’s more, Russia is importing even more microchips and semiconductors than before the war.

Among other things, the US and the EU banned the supply of microchips and semiconductors to Russia, depriving them of “70 percent” of their imports. The most important companies in the sector, such as Intel, AMD, the Taiwanese chip giant TSMC and Nexperia from the Netherlands, stopped doing business in Russia almost overnight.

At the end of March, US President Biden confidently announced that Russia would no longer be “able to rebuild those devastating weapon systems” and was on its way back “to the 19th century” as a result of the Russian operation in Ukraine, while US Commerce Secretary Gina Raimondo stated: “We have reports from Ukrainians that when they find Russian military equipment on the ground, it’s filled with semiconductors that they took out of dishwashers and refrigerators”.

Raimondo spoke at a Senate hearing in May last year, noting that she had recently met with Ukraine’s prime minister. “Our approach was to deny Russia technology — technology that would cripple their ability to continue a military operation. And that is exactly what we are doing.”

And in September, the President of the EU Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, defiantly announced that Russia’s industry was in ruins. “The Russian military is taking chips from dishwashers and refrigerators to repair their military equipment because they are running out of semiconductors. Russian industry is in tatters,” she claimed in a speech in the European Parliament.

Total Western failure to predict outcomes

But the Russian armed forces never had to do that during the war, as is now evident. Referring to an official report, the weekly German newspaper Zeitreported that Western sanctions in no way reduced Russian imports of electronic components – on the contrary: Russia imported even more processors and semiconductors in 2022 than before the war. Overall, imports in this segment have increased from 1.8 billion euros to 2.45 billion euros.

Beyond that, Russian imports fell by just 16 percent on a yearly basis. This was also confirmed by US economist and sanctions advocate Matthew Klein. According to his calculations, Russian imports in November were only 15 percent below the monthly average for 2021. At the beginning of 2022, shortly after the Russian operation started, Western “experts” had expected a slump of at least 30 to 40 percent.

The fact that Russia was able to circumvent the sanctions is due to countries like China, Turkey or the United Arab Emirates, which quickly filled the gaps left by Western corporations. They also act as a location for Russian intermediaries who obtain Western technology from letterbox companies.

At the same time, Russians have been manufacturing their own goods to fill the gaps that have arisen as a result of sanctions and the withdrawal of western corporations.

IMF expects Russia’s economy to grow

Until recently the West doubted that Russia’s economy would survive under sanctions, but the International Monetary Fund (IMF) is now sounding more optimistic than even the Russian government. Known for its gloomy forecasts, The IMF has predicted that Russia’s GDP will expand this year.

By far the most important trading partner for Russia is China. Overall, imports from China rose by 13 percent in 2022. Many Western companies such as Apple or Ikea had supplied the Russian market before they withdrew. This decision to leave could be compensated for.

China’s companies now deliver the majority of new cars and smartphones, computers, but also heavy equipment such as construction machinery and trucks. In fact, exports of trucks from China more than tripled in 2022 while imports of construction equipment have doubled.

Most importantly from a Russian point of view, however, are the imports of microchips. Together with Hong Kong, China shipped $900 million worth of semiconductors to its neighbour in 2022, more than double than the figure for 2021.

Finland Mulls Policy that Could Evict People Who Smoke in Their Own Apartments

A group within the Finnish Ministry of Social Affairs and Health is developing a policy that could ban people from smoking in their own apartment buildings and possibly evict those who do not comply with the ban.

The Working Group on the Development of Tobacco and Nicotine Policy of the Ministry of Social Affairs and Health has proposed to allow housing associations and other companies to ban smoking entirely in apartments and even on balconies.

While measures exist to allow property companies to attain a smoking ban from local governments, there are no firm measures for violating the ban, broadcaster Yle reports.

The government group is looking to increase penalties for smokers, including the possibility of allowing housing companies to evict those who smoke in their own homes.

“First there is an opportunity to issue a warning, and if the violation of the ban continues, then control can be taken,” legal expert at the Finnish Property Management Association Jenni Valkama said.

The group is also looking to restrict tobacco use in other areas, including banning the import of snuff, which is sniffed, rather than smoked. The group also wished to raise the age limit to purchase tobacco products from 18 to 20, as some have argued that previous age limit increases have led to fewer young people consuming tobacco products.

Finland’s proposed restrictions on tobacco use follow a general trend across much of the west as more and more countries restrict the use of tobacco, with the Austrian government becoming one of the last western countries to ban indoor smoking in 2019 after the populist Freedom Party (FPOe) attempted to stop the ban in 2017.

Other countries have gone to even more extreme lengths to tackle tobacco use, with the leftist government in New Zealand under former Prime Minister Jacinda Arden banning anyone born after January 1st 2009 from ever buying cigarettes.

Media uproar over Conservative deputy chair’s support for death penalty despite it being a majority view in Britain

screen grab youtoube

Lee Anderson, a 56-year-old former coal miner who this week was appointed as deputy chair of the governing Conservative party, has faced a mainstream media backlash for his long-standing support of capital punishment for the worst offenders. However, the view of the Ashfield MP is supported by the majority of Brits according to the most recent polling on the matter.

Anderson was dubbed the “worst man in Britain” by left-wing newspaper The Mirror back in 2021, and left-wing activists have derisively referred to him as “30p Lee” after the Conservative MP claimed back in May 2022 that he could make a meal from scratch for just 30 pence when questioning some people’s use of food banks.

The MP’s appointment to deputy chair of the party earlier this week was met with scathing criticism among Britain’s left-wing commentariat.

“What was Sunak thinking when he elevated this proven Neanderthal?” tweeted broadcaster Jemma Strong, while Pippa Crear, the Guardian newspaper’s political editor, called him “the Red Wall rottweiler.”

“It sort of snakes around the place… You’re going to have to wipe down the floor and the walls afterwards,” left-wing broadcaster James O’Brien said of Anderson on Wednesday, describing him as an out-of-control shower head that Prime Minister Rishi Sunak will now find difficult to control.

Anderson has long been outspoken on several sensitive topics. He boycotted the English national team last year for its decision to take the knee before matches, and has criticized nurses who say they must rely on food banks because they don’t earn enough. However, one small matter the left-wing media establishment finds it difficult to accept when berating the conservative politician is that his views are often in alignment with the silent majority across the country.

Mainstream media outlets including the BBC, Britain’s public broadcaster, now frequently describe Anderson as “controversial,” yet allies warn this attempt to discredit the politician is ill-judged.

“Interesting that BBC News and others describe Lee Anderson as “controversial.” His views are not controversial to the huge numbers of ordinary people who think similarly. Media will exacerbate public distrust amongst such audiences if they persist in this labeling,” tweeted Baroness Stowell of Beeston, a Conservative peer.

She’s right. It’s a fact that the mainstream media will simply continue to further alienate those already disillusioned with its perceived left-wing bias by sowing the seed that someone such as Lee Anderson, a blue-collar worker from the north of England who previously served as a Labour councilor before defecting to the Tories, is somehow dangerous or unsavory for holding certain views.

The latest media outrage is based on his historic support for the death penalty in Britain, which he says should be reserved for the worst offenders.

“Nobody has ever committed a crime after being executed,” Anderson has previously said tongue-in-cheek, no doubt aware such a brazen remark will rile up his political and media opponents.

Speaking on Thursday, Anderson qualified his view on the issue, telling Talk Radio, “I’ve said it in the past. I said it before I got into parliament. Obviously, it’s not government policy. It never will be. I was asked a question, and I answered it.”

He explained how in certain circumstances “it’s difficult to argue against,” using the abhorrent public murder of Lee Rigby, a fusilier in the British army who was gruesomely attacked on the streets of London by two Islamist extremists in May 2013, as a prime example.

“Murders like that where the proof is there, there’s hundreds of witnesses. It’s very difficult to argue against the death penalty in cases like that. I pretty much stick to that view,” Anderson said.

U.K. Prime Minister Rishi Sunak was quick on Thursday to distance himself from Anderson’s views, insisting they were not government policy.

In the opinion of the mainstream media, such views warrant Anderson to be described as “controversial,” despite a YouGov poll from Jan. 9, 2023, revealing that 53 percent of Brits would be in favor of the death penalty being reintroduced for the most abhorrent crimes.

In fact, more Brits than not believe capital punishment should be reserved as a sentence for those convicted of murdering a child, multiple murders, terrorist murder acts, or murdering a police officer. The percentage of those who firmly oppose capital punishment for the aforementioned crimes didn’t surpass 36 percent in the latest polling.

Left-wing media activists like James O’Brien may well try to discredit Anderson by calling him “thick as mince,” but the more scorn they pour over those in the spotlight unafraid of speaking out in favor of views deemed unpalatable by the self-proclaimed intelligentsia, the more popular individuals like Lee Anderson will become.

Italy: Trial of relatives in ‘honour killing’ opens in Reggio Emilia

The boyfriend of Saman Abbas, an 18-year-old Pakistani-Italian woman allegedly killed by her family near Reggio Emilia in April-May 2021 for refusing an arranged marriage with an older man in Pakistan, will set up a foundation for other victims of so-called ‘honour’ crimes with any damages he gets from a trial that started against five of her relatives in Reggio Friday, his lawyer said.
Saqib Ayub wants to see justice done for his late girlfriend and will use any damages from standing as a civil plantiff in the proceedings to set up a foundation against ‘honour killing’ and to help victims of forced marriages in her name, his lawyer Claudio Falleti said.
“If we ever get any money, we will use it to open a Saman Foundation to safeguard victims of forced marriages,” Falleti told QB-Il Resto del Carlino newspaper.
The young man will not be present in the courtroom Friday, Falleti said.
“Only I will go. He doesn’t want to see those monsters,” he said, referring to three of the five defendants who will be in the dock: Danish Hasnain, Saman’s uncle, and her two cousins Ikram Ijaz and Nomanhulaq Nomanhulaq.
Missing will be the late young woman’s mother, Nazia Shaheen, still on the run in Pakistan, and her father Shabbar Abbas, in jail in Pakistan, which has yet to grant his extradition to Italy.
Falleti called the delays in the extradition process “unacceptable”.
    o judicial sources.
On January 31 Saman’s uncle, Hasnain, accused by his nephew, Saman’s brother, of strangling her, said that he did not do the deed but did accompany the young woman’s two cousins, Nomanhulaq and Ijaz, to bury her body together near the family home at Novellara near Reggio Emilia, according to judicial sources.
On November 2018 Hasnain took police to the place near the family home where they buried Abbas after 18 months of vain searches, even with sniffer dogs, because the body was too far down in the ground.
Hasnain, the uncle, reportedly told police her cousins blamed the mother for the murder but he did not think she had done it either.
On January 4 Saman’s body was ID’d from her teeth, said a lawyer for the Penelope missing persons and women’s rights group who is also a civil plaintiff in the trial.
The lawyer, Barbara Iannucelli, said a bone in Abbas’s neck had been broken and further examination will be needed to establish if this injury was inflicted pre- or post-mortem.
The fracture of the bone in the front of the neck would support the hypothesis that she was strangled by her uncle, as he has been charged.
The alleged ‘honour killing” was perpetrated, police said, because of Saman’s refusal to marry the older man in Pakistan and also because the family objected to the western-style life she was living with her boyfriend, Ayub.
Saman had taken refuge in a women’s shelter but her mother lured her back to be killed, police say, by promising her that they would let her live as she wanted.

UK report deems Islamist terrorism the greatest and deadliest threat facing the country

UK counter-terrorism report calls Islamist terrorism the deadliest and greatest threat in UK

An assessment of ‘Prevent’, one of the four strands of the United Kingdom government’s anti-terrorism strategy ‘Contest’, released on Wednesday has declared Islamist terrorism as the “primary threat” to the country, “consistently accounting for the majority of terrorist attack plots both carried out and thwarted by the intelligence services.”

Further noting that currently, 80 per cent of the Counter-Terrorism Police network’s live investigations are Islamist, the report offered recommendations to combat it.

‘Prevent’ is one of the four main areas of the UK government-led programme- Contest, to prevent British people from being drawn into terrorism. The other three strands of the program are: Pursue, Protect and Prepare.

The independent review of the UK’s scheme to prevent terrorism was carried out by Commissioner for Public Appointments William Shawcross and published Wednesday (February 8).

Islamist terror termed the deadliest and greatest threat in UK

The report identified pro-Khalistan extremism and the radicalisation of British Muslims by rhetoric emanating from extremist clerics in Pakistan relating to blasphemy and Kashmir as among the emerging terrorist threats facing Britain.

The report cautioned that Pakistani rhetoric is “inflaming anti-India feeling, particularly around the subject of Kashmir” in UK Muslim communities. It also warned against a false narrative being spread by a small number of pro-Khalistan groups operating in the UK.

“There is an element of crossover between those who seek to impose limits around blasphemy with those who voice incendiary rhetoric on Kashmir. I have seen evidence of UK extremist groups, as well as a Pakistani cleric with a UK following, calling for the use of violence in Kashmir. I have also seen evidence demonstrating that flashpoints related to Kashmir lead to a significant surge in interest from UK Islamists,” Shawcross said in the review.

On the issue of pro-Khalistan extremism, the report added, “Prevent should also be mindful of pro-Khalistan extremism emerging from the UK’s Sikh communities. A false narrative is disseminated by the tiny number of pro-Khalistan groups operating in the UK that the government is colluding with its counterpart in India to persecute Sikhs.”

“I wholeheartedly accept all 34 recommendations and am committed to quickly delivering wholesale change to ensure we are taking every possible step to protect our country from the threat posed by terrorism,” said Suella Braverman.

Islamic terrorism has become an emerging problem in the United Kingdom. Last year, amidst the anti-Hindu attacks in Leicester, British MP Bob Blackman had come forward in support of the community and raised concerns about the Islamist attacks in Leicester.

Attacks on Hindus in Leicester and Birmingham

The Hindu community in the UK, particularly in Leicester and Birmingham, is under attack by the Islamists. What initially appeared to be a clash between the two communities following the T20 match between India and Pakistan turned out to be a well-planned and well-organized attack on Hindus, their homes, businesses, and properties in Leicester.

Several arrests were made by the Police following the attack on Hindus in the city. Later, calls were made by the “Islamist influencers” to gather in Birmingham to circle a Hindu temple to mark a “peaceful protest” against an event where Sadhvi Ritambhara was scheduled to appear.

Despite the event being postponed a week before the scheduled date, the Islamists circled the Hindu temple, hurled abuses, and threatened to attack Hindus if they were followers of BJP and RSS.

Catholic Church’s World Youth Day supporting enhanced access to abortion?

Image: Pixabay / Pixabay License

By Eric Utter

A group of Catholic parents in Poland have written a letter to members of the Catholic Church’s hierarchy demanding that this year’s World Youth Day (WYD) event in Lisbon, Portugal cease its bizarre promotion of the United Nations’ pro-abortion 2030 Agenda.

World Youth Day is a huge outdoor festival sponsored by the Holy See and attended by the pope that’s held about every three years, intended to gather young people from around the world to share the Gospel. Pope John Paul II was famous for the gigantic gatherings he drew.

The parents’ letter, penned on January 3, was sent to Portuguese Bishop Américo Manuel Alves Aguiar, the head of the 2023 WYD Lisbon organizing committee, and to pro-LGBT Cardinal Kevin Farrell, head of the Dicastery for the Laity, Family and Life.

The missive, translated and provided to LifeSiteNews, begins with a plea by “parents of young people planning to attend World Youth Day 2023” to have the event’s stated commitment to the United Nations “Agenda 2030” and its “Sustainable Development Goals” removed as a “guiding element.” One of the goals for the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development is enhanced access to abortion and women’s “reproductive rights.”

The group of parents also took issue with WYD’s inexplicable endorsement of the “Global Tree Initiative” (GTI) that promotes other religions, such as Buddhism, on its website. They also noted that many of these globalist goals are “irreconcilable with the Gospel and the Church’s teaching,” and may “mislead” or “bring moral confusion to young people.”

It is decidedly ironic that World Youth Day, a Catholic festival, would support any agenda touting other religions. It is even more ironic—and disturbing– that it would directly or indirectly support increased access to abortion.

(Groups don’t always act in their best interest, and not just because of altruism. The United Auto Workers endorsed Al Gore in the 2000 presidential election despite the inconvenient fact that Gore had called for the abolition of the internal combustion engine.)

World Youth Day effectively lauding abortion? What’s next, breweries and distilleries supporting prohibition? Oil companies lobbying for a ban on drilling? China calling for a moratorium on spy balloons? Democrats calling for expanded First and Second Amendment rights?

Okay, okay, I know…the last one is preposterous.

Three in Four Children Suffering Psychologically Post-Lockdown, German Government Says

A considerable majority of children have been left struggling psychologically as a result of lockdown restriction, a German government report has claimed.

The revelation that many children have been left scarred as a result of COVID lockdown, Germany says, is met with officials now calling for measures to be taken to help those impacted.

It comes shortly after the country’s health minister, Karl Lauterbach, admitted that the country’s decision to shut down schools and daycares for much of the pandemic was probably a bad idea, blaming the move on a lack of available scientific evidence at the time.

In a press release published on Wednesday Lauterbach, alongside Family Minister Lisa Paus, further discussed the extent of the damage COVID restrictions in Germany had on children, with the pair launching a government report claiming that very nearly three-quarters children of have been left with psychological issues as a result of the pandemic.

“73 per cent of young people are still extremely stressed by the restrictions during the pandemic,” Paus said, adding that many in the country are also now struggling as a result of the war in Ukraine, inflation, as well as the so-called “climate crisis”.

Meanwhile, Lauterbach discussed the “particularly heavy burden” restrictions aimed at combatting COVID had on young people, before declaring that the German health system is now “doing its bit to help young people cope with the mental and psychosocial burden of the pandemic”.

While the press release goes on to say that so-called “mental health coaches” will be deployed to schools in order to provide support to struggling children, young people in the country may require a little more than that to get their lives back on track.

For example, a study published last year found that a significant number of children had their academic capabilities stunted by lockdown, with the reading levels of fourth-grade children in the country post-pandemic being substantially behind their pre-pandemic peers.

To make matters worse, such damage may have partly been caused by an unforced error on Germany’s part, with Lauterbach saying that the country’s decision to close both schools and childcare facilities for large swathes of the pandemic was likely not the best idea in hindsight.

Describing the closures as being “really hard” on children, Lauterbach said that the country’s understanding of the pandemic was “not really good enough”, and that there were a number of measures implemented by the country’s government that “never have happened”.
