Austria: Muslim taxi driver kicked kissing gay couple out of vehicle

The foreign infiltration in Vienna is now apparently also leading to social problems in the gay community. An Islamic taxi driver did not want to transport two kissing men.

Kissing among men is against religion

Christopher Wolf, senior physician in cardiology, made the incident public himself on his Facebook page. According to the story, he wanted to drive home from a Christmas party with his partner – in a taxi. But when Wolf kissed his husband in the back seat of the vehicle, the driver saw red. That was against his religion, the Muslim taxi driver allegedly said and forced the two men to get out.

Senior physician in cardiology feels discriminated against

In his Facebook post, Wolf cannot grasp the incident. “Where do I live here?” the doctor asks with a double question mark and continues to write resignedly:

After all, nobody cares if you are discriminated against as a senior cardiologist in Austria, not even 70 years after Nazi socialism!!!!!

Commentator Alexander B. agrees with him:

This is bad, this is the point where we have to let Islamists tell us what we are allowed to do and what we are not allowed to do, thanks to our government,(sarcasm) which has opened the door for these people.I am really not a racist and if foreigners behave properly and adapt, all OK…but this is not right at all, I would sue 31300 without any ifs and buts!!!!

Comment writer: “Quite Islamophobic!”

Friedrich G., on the other hand, accuses the doctor of populism:

Hooray, congratulations for 15 minutes of limelight, maybe the wolf with ZIB2 will still work out? You are as important as the cargo bike that just fell over.

And under the synonym “New Truths” a user writes succinctly:

Quite Islamophobic!

Taxi company apologises

The taxi company concerned, 31300, also joined the comment writers and apologised for the incident. The taxi company wrote:

Dear Mr Wolf,
We very much regret the incident you have described and will do everything in our power to clarify it in detail and to take appropriate action.

Nigerian President: More weapons for Ukraine end up in Africa

Boko Haram. Screenshot from YouTube

Some time ago, FWM reported on arms deliveries to Ukraine, which shortly afterwards were resold on the Internet. Nigerian President Muhammadu Buhari has warned that “weapons used in the war in Ukraine are gradually leaking into the region” and called for strengthened border security.

It has become a nightmare: heavy weapons of war in the hands of Islamist terrorists from Boko Haram to ISIS. In Nigeria, this nightmare is now becoming a reality. “Unfortunately, the situation in the Sahel and the active war in Ukraine serve as important sources of weapons and fighters that strengthen the ranks of terrorists in the Lake Chad region,” Buhari said during a summit of leaders of the Lake Chad basin.

More and more weapons are endangering the region

Noting that “a significant portion of arms and ammunition destined for the war continues to enter the Lake Chad region and other parts of the Sahel,” he stressed that “these arms shipments to the region have increased the proliferation of small arms and light weapons, which continue to threaten collective peace and security in the region”.

There is an urgent need to speed up cooperation between border control agencies and other security services to stop the circulation of all illegal weapons in the region, the Nigerian Presidency said on its Facebook account.

Anti-tank missiles, automatic weapons, ammunition, drones or even mines are sold on the Darknet. Thousands of weapon systems that Western allies are sending to Ukraine can be found online for sale.

It has never been easier to get hold of heavy NATO weapons than it is now, sent directly from Ukraine to any place in the world. A single seller listed has reportedly completed 32 successful transactions.

Of particular concern is the appearance of man-portable anti-aircraft missile systems manufactured by the United States and Sweden. Captured terrorists, Nigeria’s President added, have testified that MANPADS were bought in Ukraine and enter Africa via Poland and Romania.

Some 300 000 guns disappeared in just two years

“While the reaction to supplying more arms to Ukraine is very understandable, it would be wise to also consider the immediate and long-term security implications,” US-based think tank Stimson Center said in March about this development.

“We have seen time and time again how weapons aimed at aiding an ally in a conflict have found their way to the front lines in unforeseen battlefields. They often end up with groups that are at odds with US interests or those of civilians.”

Afghanistan: Kabul University professor tears up diploma certificate to oppose Taliban’s ban on women education

Amidst the worldwide criticism and protest against the Taliban’s diktat banning entry of women students in universities in Sharia-governed Afghanistan, a professor from Kabul University registered his protest on national TV against the regressive order.

During a live debate programme on TOLO News, the professor tore up his diploma certificates saying that he does not need those certificates if the women of the country are denied access to education.

A video clip of the debate show was shared on Twitter by Shabnam Nasimi, former policy advisor to the Minister for Afghan Resettlement & Minister for Refugees. As seen in the video, the Kabul university professor held up his diploma certificates and then tore them up one by one.

While tearing the certificates, the professor is heard saying, “I do not need these certificates as now there is no place for education in this country. I cannot accept this education if my sister and mother cannot study.”

“Astonishing scenes as a Kabul university professor destroys his diplomas on live TV in Afghanistan —“From today I don’t need these diplomas anymore because this country is no place for an education. If my sister & my mother can’t study, then I DON’T accept this education,” Shabnam Nasimi tweeted.

After its takeover, the Taliban had claimed that it will allow women to take education with strict rules and restrictions. Initially, educational institutions were ordered to implement new rules such as gender-segregated classrooms and entrances. However, in March this year, the Islamist regime took a U-turn and banned secondary education for girl students.

Taliban has also barred women from most jobs and made it compulsory for women to wear Hijabs and Burqas. Besides, Afghan women are also banned from public parks and gyms.

Crushing the aspirations of Afghan women to educate themselves and pursue a career of their choice, the Sharia-compliant Taliban regime on December 20 banned university access for female students.

Afghanistan’s Ministry of Education in a letter directed all the public and private universities to suspend access to university education for female students till further notice.

Taliban’s regressive move invited global outrage. Several countries condemned the Taliban’s order. Meanwhile, the male students of several universities in Afghanistan also expressed solidarity with the female students. Several male students at the Nangarhar University in Jalalabad and at Kandahar University in Afghanistan reportedly staged a protest and expressed solidarity with the women. The male students walked out of the examination hall at the University.

Apart from denying access to education, the Islamist regime on December 24 also barred women from working in local and foreign NGOs saying that the women employees were not following the “Islamic dress code”.

Opposing the order restricting women from working, three international NGOs Save the Children, the Norwegian Refugee Council, and CARE on December 25, announced the suspension of their aid work in the country.

On December 27, the United Nations Security Council (UNSC) also issued a press statement expressing its concerns over the denial of access to university education for Afghan women.

“The Security Council is deeply alarmed by reports that the Taliban have suspended access to universities for women and girls, and reaffirmed its deep concern about the suspension of schools beyond the sixth grade, and its call for the full, equal, and meaningful participation of women and girls in Afghanistan,” the UNSC press statement read.

On the Taliban order banning women from working in NGOs, the UN Security Council said that the move will have a significant and immediate impact on humanitarian operations in Afghanistan being carried out by private NGOs and the UN.

India: Viral video shows couple & students doing Islamic prayer in Vadodara’s MS University

Reports of people performing namaz in public have repeatedly emerged from different parts of the country. Two incidents of namaz being offered at Vadodara’s Maharaja Sayajirao University (MSU) on December 25 and 26 have come to light. Videos of both incidents have gone viral on social media (SM).

Reports state that a couple performed the Islamic prayer within the premises of the University. The video of the couple went viral on Sunday and the next day the video of two students went viral. Hindu organizations retaliated by reciting Hanuman Chalisa. Some Hindu activists raised slogans outside the Vice Chancellor’s office and demanded a probe into the issue.

OpIndia report on the matter notes:

The Public Relations Officer of the University, Lakulesh Trivedi, said in a statement that mid-semester exams of the Commerce Department are taking place at the University. Some students were found sitting at the back of the Commerce building. The vigilance team noticed them and sent them away. He further added that the University would counsel the students and make arrangements to avoid such incidents in the future.

A video of a couple offering Namaz at the campus just a day before the incident went viral. They were also found offering prayers outside the Sanskrit Mahavidyalaya. Notably, as they were not students at the University so were assumed to be parents or guardians of students at the University.

It must be mentioned that VHP has filed a complaint in the matter and demanded action against those who offered namaz within the university premises.

Glasgow Sex Trafficker Jagpal Singh was BBC Reality News Show Star

International sex trafficker Jagpal Singh starred (photo) in a BBC reality show in which “real people” were invited to give “real opinions” on the news of the day.

Singh, 52, was part of the regular cast of Common Sense, which purported to feature “real” members of the public “chosen for their sharp wit and humorous take on life, [to] discuss the week’s news” in 2017.

Last month, however, he was imprisoned alongside Chinese national Donglin Zhang, 49, Albanian national Vlassis Ntaoulias, 33, and Thai national Boonsong Wannas, 63, for trafficking women to Scotland and forcing them into prostitution.

In an article titled ‘The sex traffickers hiding in plain sight’, BBC Scotland social affairs correspondent Chris Clements recalled that, in addition to providing hot takes on U.S. President Donald Trump’s border wall and The Emoji Movie, the predator was invited to opine on the relationship between the sexes.

“Men like sex”, Singh said. “I’m not saying women don’t like sex. I think men like sex better. Women are always tired.”

Singh’s view of women on this topic may have been coloured by his relationships with his victims, such as a Chinese national described by Scotland’s Crown Office and Procurator Fiscal Service (COPFS) as having been “brought to Glasgow on the promise of paid employment” only to be “locked in [to a property owned by Ntaoulias] and compelled to work as a prostitute for [Ntaoulias and Singh], seeing as many as 10 customers per day.”

“The accused sentenced today exploited vulnerable women for their own financial benefit without any regard to the suffering they caused. Women were trafficked into Scotland to be used as prostitutes and moved around residential properties across the city of Glasgow,” commented Scottish procurator fiscal (prosecutor) Laura Buchan after Singh and his accomplices were sentenced for trafficking and brothel keeping — none to a sentence exceeding ten years, which they are unlikely to serve in full.

The BBC article on Singh’s time as an allegedly humourous everyman commentator on current affairs noted that human trafficking crimes like his are currently at a record high.

All told, people flagged as possible victims by the Home Office’s National Referral Mechanism (NRM) has increased by around 700 per cent since 2014.

“It is predominantly labour exploitation, or exploitation for forced criminality… followed by sexual exploitation,” that victims are drawn into, said Police Scotland’s National Human Trafficking Unit leader, Detective Superintendent Fil Capaldi.

“Some are hiding in plain sight,” he said of the exploiters.

“There are a number of cases we’ve had recently where members of the public have seen comings and goings at a strange hour, or seen a steady stream of men going to a particular door, and they’ve called that in.”

He explained that there is “a real international dimension” to the crimes, referencing collaborations with law enforcement in Continental European countries including Albania, Romania, and Hungary.

Paris shooting: French ambassador summoned by Ankara for ‘anti-Turkish propaganda’

On Monday 26 December, following the shooting of three people of Kurdish origin in Paris three days earlier, the French ambassador was summoned by Ankara for “anti-Turkey propaganda”.

French daily Le Figaro reported that Turkey has been blamed for the shooting in Paris.

“We have expressed our displeasure at the propaganda launched by PKK (Kurdistan Workers’ Party) circles against our country, with the French government and certain politicians being used as propaganda tools,” a Turkish diplomatic source complained.

The day after the shooting in the middle of Paris, demonstrations organised by French Kurds degenerated throughout France, leading to violent clashes with the police.

Since the shooting, Kurdish groups close to the PKK, an organisation that is a sworn enemy of Turkey and considered terrorist by Ankara, have been denouncing the hand of the Turkish intelligence services behind what they consider to be a terrorist attack.

However, the national anti-terrorist prosecutor’s office was not seized, and only a “racist motive” was retained. The main suspect, a French national, has no proven link with Turkish services at this stage of the investigation.

William M, 69 years old, was presented to a judge on Monday 26 December after his custody and charged with murder and attempted murder on the grounds of race, ethnicity, nation or religion, as well as for unauthorised acquisition and possession of a weapon. He was placed in detention.

“There is no evidence at this stage to suggest that this man is affiliated with any extremist ideological movement”, the public prosecutor pointed out however.

Paris experienced civil war-like scenes over Christmas. Violent clashes broke out between police and demonstrators on Saturday. After an initially peaceful protest in the city center, cars were overturned and set on fire, and garbage cans were also set on fire. Police officers were attacked with projectiles and officers used tear gas. The situation only calmed down in the early evening.

Already on Friday afternoon there had been clashes between an angry crowd and the police. Protesters threw objects, set garbage cans on fire and erected barricades. The windows of private cars and police vehicles were also broken. The police used tear gas to disperse angry mobs.

France: The driver of a holiday club shuttle bus is under investigation for glorifying terrorism; the person suspected of Islamist radicalisation threatened to attack Israeli guests

He allegedly made anti-Semitic remarks and threatened to attack Israeli citizens. The driver of a shuttle bus taking skiers from the Club du Soleil holiday village in Orcières-Merlette to the resort was arrested last weekend on suspicion of Islamist radicalisation.
The 48-year-old from Metz was taken into police custody on Friday. It was work colleagues who had alerted the authorities to suspicious statements. “I would love to crash the shuttle with the Israeli customers into the gorge. They don’t deserve to live,” he is reported to have said, among other things, after returning from a trip.”

The newly hired man had also shown religious videos at his workplace,” reports Florent Crouhy, the Gap prosecutor. “He merely expressed an opinion and not a threat, which is not the same thing,” he added.

The man was arrested, charged and remanded in custody by the prosecution on Sunday. He is charged with “glorification of terrorism” and “non-public incitement to hatred on the grounds of belonging to an ethnic group”. His computers and mobile phone were confiscated. They are currently being analysed. (…) BFMTV
