On December 4, Sunday, the Shahi Imam of Jama Masjid in Ahmedabad sparked controversy by saying that giving election tickets to women is against Islam and doing so weakens the religion. “Those who give election tickets to Muslim women are against Islam, weakening the religion. Are there no men left,” said Shabbir Ahmed Siddiqui, Shahi Imam of Jama Masjid in Ahmedabad. He also asked if there is no men left in Islam that women are being given tickets.

The Imam also said that Islam does not allow Muslim women to come out in front of the public, that’s why they are not allowed to enter mosques for namaaz, and therefore they should also be not allowed to enter the legislature.

Talking to ANI, Shabbir Ahmed Siddiqui said, ‘you just saw namaaz being offered, did you see any woman? And in Islam namaaz has been given the highest importance. If women coming out in open like this was allowed in Islam, they would not have been barred from the masjid. Why they are barred from mosques? Because there is a place for women in Islam. Therefore who are giving tickets to Muslim women are revolting against Islam’.

The Shahi Imam went on to say that an outrage erupted in Karnataka around a ban on hijabs in government schools, “but if Muslim women become MLAs, councillors etc, then the Hijab cannot be protected. Because in that case, the government will argue that your women are contesting elections, sitting on Municipal boards, speaking on stage, etc. In Islam, Aurat’s voice is also Aurat,” Shahi Imam Shabbir Ahmed Siddiqui said. He added that when Muslim women contest elections, they have to address election rallies, visit houses of voters regardless of their religion, and therefore such women can’t maintain their hijab.

Furthermore, he asked if there are no Muslim men left that Muslim women are being made to contest elections. “Had there been a law that only women can contest election then the case was different. In Delhi also, I have noticed that in Delhi also they are giving tickets to young women, thinking that if women are taken into control then the whole family will automatically come under control,” he said.

Notably, Shahi Imam of Ahmedabad Jama Masjid has time and again made inflammatory remarks. On December 3, he urged Muslim voters to vote for a single party rather than splitting their votes as they did in 2012.

Siddiqui said in a statement to ABP news that Muslims are messaging each other on WhatsApp and reminding each other of the 2012 elections. During the 2012 elections, the Bharatiya Janata Party candidate won the Muslim-majority seat of Jamalpur because Muslim votes were divided.

Interestingly, in 2012, local leader Sabir Kabliwala ran against the Muslim candidate fielded by Congress and received over 30,000 votes. Consequently, BJP was able to claim victory by a margin of 6,000 votes. AIMIM has fielded Kabliwala from Jamalpur’s seat in the current elections.

A month-long tragedy has finally found its happy ending – albeit rather symbolically. After Federal Economics Minister Habeck (Greens) was rebuffed in Qatar in the spring when he was looking for a replacement for the boycotted Russian gas, reports of an agreement are now making the rounds.

Qatar and Germany have therefore agreed on a long-term supply contract for liquefied natural gas (LNG). According to the contract, the liquid gas is to be sold to the US company Conoco-Phillips, which will then deliver it to Brunsbüttel in Germany. However, deliveries are not scheduled to begin until 2026 and will last up to 15 years. The previous major supplier Russia, has been absent since the Russian military operation in the Ukraine.

But the contract with the sheiks is little more than a symbolic “deal”. It only includes up to two million tons of LNG per year – this corresponds to about 2,7 billion cubic meters of non-liquefied natural gas per year, which represents an extremely small delivery volume. For comparison: through the Baltic Sea pipeline Nord Stream 1, around 55 billion cubic meters were delivered from Russia to Germany every year until the beginning of the Ukraine war. In 2021, Germany also consumed almost 90,5 billion cubic meters of natural gas.

Gas for China

Particularly insulting is that the meager German contract conclusion came only a few days after the announcement of a gas deal between Qatar and China, which is of strategic importance primarily because of its long term. The supply agreement with China provides for the export of liquefied natural gas (LNG) in the amount of 108 million tons over 27 years – a multiple of the delivery volume for Germany.

The Arab world makes no secret of the fact that Germany is no longer considered a reliable partner. It’s not just about the intrusive attempts to instruct the German World Cup team and the Federal Minister of the Interior, who felt she had to provoke the Qatari hosts in the stadium with the rainbow-colored “One Love” armband.

What is more serious is that Berlin has lost international trust by confiscating Russian gas infrastructure and other Russian monetary and material assets as part of the Western sanctions policy.

German politicians depend on war support for their own survival

In the face of economic hardship, it appears hat European solidarity with Ukraine has its limits. The perception of Ukraine as a haven of freedom that deserves support has also changed significantly for the worse – despite ongoing propaganda in the media. Fewer and fewer Europeans support arms deliveries to Kiev. And fewer and fewer want to see Ukraine in the EU.

A recent survey by the Bertelsmann Foundation, which was conducted throughout the EU, provides figures on the change in mood.

According to this, only 48 percent in Germany were in favor of arms deliveries to Kiev in September – in March it was 57 percent. Across the EU, too, approval fell to 50 percent. At 76 percent, the Poles, as direct Ukrainian neighbors, were most in favor of arms deliveries, while Italy had the lowest approval rate at 36 percent.

In addition, approval for Ukraine’s EU accession fell across the EU in the coming years. In March, 69 percent of EU citizens supported this, in September only 63 percent. The willingness to take in refugees from the Ukraine is also declining across Europe.

A fresh case of Love Jihad has emerged in Indore, Madhya Pradesh, where police arrested one Anwar Khan alias Annu for raping a Hindu girl student while concealing his identity and then blackmailing her. According to accounts, Anwar was also pressuring the victim girl student to convert to Islam.

The case pertains to Gauri Nagar of the Hira Nagar police station area in Indore. According to media reports, the victim who is a 25-year-old BCom student informed authorities that she met Anwar on social media roughly 8 years ago. Anwar Khan used the name Annu on Instagram. They both met each other after they got in touch while he kept his true identity concealed. Eventually, the student discovered 5 years ago that Annu’s true name is Anwar and that he is a Muslim.

A 25-year-old girl Khusi Pal (name changed) in her complaint told police that:

Anwar posed as Annu to befriend her 8 years ago, when she found about his true identity she stopped talking to him.

Following this, the girl separated from him and asked him not to contact her again. Anwar, according to the student, did not stop even after this. In September 2022, the girl’s engagement took place in Mumbai. When he found out about her engagement, he began blackmailing her and forcing her to marry him.

One day he reached the girl’s house, and finding her alone in the house, he raped her taking the opportunity. He then threatened to ruin the engagement, and forced her to convert to Islam and marry him. He also threatened to disclose to everyone that he raped her, in order to blackmail her.

After such harassment and torture continued for weeks, on Thursday (December 01, 2022), the student informed her family members of this. Following this, the family sought assistance from Hindu groups and went to the police station.

When the situation was brought to their attention, Bajrang Dal activists went to the police station and urged that the accused be arrested. Following this, the police filed an FIR against Anwar under different sections of the IPC, including rape and pressuring for religious conversion.

According to the Station House officer of the police station, the accused has been arrested and the police are investigating all the allegations by the 25-year-old victim. The accused, Anwar Khan alias Annu, son of hakim Khan, is a resident of the Sikandrabad colony in the Sadar Bazar area of Indore, Madhya Pradesh.

Several burglaries have affected businesses and homes in the affluent town of Maisons-Laffitte, just outside Paris, in recent weeks, with the crime wave prompting the mayor of the town to point to France’s worsening immigration crisis.

“Our borders are sieves. It is a serious problem which is becoming a national problem, the consequences of which Maisons-Laffitte is suffering. Insecurity is growing, and the government is not taking the measures it should be taking out of naivety, laxity, and demagogy,” said Jacques Myard, the mayor of Maisons-Laffitte.

The mayor pointed to some of those individuals who have already been arrested.

“What is worrying is that it is sometimes the work of people in an irregular situation who have not been deported, or worse, people who get kicked out and come back,” he said.

The mayor also “noted an upsurge in assaults and burglaries” in his town.

According to police sources, in recent months, several unaccompanied foreign minors in France and adult illegal migrants have been convicted of burglaries committed in Maisons-Laffitte, reports Actu.fr.

30 percent jump in robberies

A police source at the local Maisons-Laffitte police station confirmed that crime rates are rising, pointing to an “increase in burglaries,” which the source said was around 30 percent more compared to last year during the same period.

“But the rise is from a small number so that makes a little more than 10 more,” said the police officer. Maisons-Laffitte has a population of 23,371 and features a number of famous chateaus.

However, he said he observes that this trend does not only concern Maisons-Laffitte but the whole district, which also includes Sartrouville, Houilles, Carrières-sur-Seine, and Mesnil-le-Roi, and even the entire department:

A number of businesses have also been targeted, including a bakery.

“We have cameras, there are municipal police cameras. The problem is that we cannot do more and then if we do more, then we can no longer survive,” says Franck Santelli, owner of the CBD Shop on Rue de Paris.

Urban violence heads to the countryside

France has seen an enormous increase in crime over the last two decades, including a 91 percent jump in murders since 2000. Much of this crime has risen in tandem with the country’s growing immigration population.

French President Emmanuel Macron has put forward a plan to move France’s troubled migrant population out to the French countryside, which remains a stronghold of conservative sentiment.

An individual was spotted by two people flying over the high fence of the enclave that separates Morocco from Spain, and thus Africa from the EU. The story sounds crazy, but it’s real.

On Friday 2 December, Le Figaro reported that a migrant entered the Spanish enclave of Melilla using a paraglider. As a spokesperson for the prefecture said, “two people who were driving saw a person in a paraglider” flying over the border between Morocco and Spain. The witnesses immediately alerted the Spanish Guardia Civil, the equivalent of the gendarmerie, who said that this was the first time that such a means had been used.

Nevertheless, the illegal immigrant “could not be located” by the local authorities. As a reminder, the enclave of Melilla is, along with that of Ceuta, the only European Union border on the African continent.

The impressively high wire fences are very difficult for humans to cross, in addition to being monitored by surveillance cameras and guards perched on watchtowers.

However, as the daily points out, some migrants sometimes try to do whatever it takes, as was the case last June, when some twenty illegal immigrants died trying to enter the enclave to reach Spanish territory.

Some of them even risk their lives swimming to leave Africa. For the time being, the migrant who was seen paragliding on 2 December has not been found, so his fate remains unknown.

Sportswise, things didn’t go very well for Germany, but the Germans have already secured the title of world champions in moral and double standards. The political establishment in Berlin went crazy after FIFA banned the pro-LGBT ‘One Love’ headband from the World Cup in Qatar. German Economy Minister Robert Habeck of the Green Party told the German national team that they had to wear the armband anyway. Various government officials protested, including Interior Minister Nancy Faeser, who wore the “One Love” armband at the opening match in Doha.

But immediately after the “scandal”, Germany proudly announced a new mega deal on gas with none other than Qatar, an agreement that Minister Habeck described as “super”. Bayern Munich loves Qatar’s money, and German soccer stars Thomas Müller and Manuel Neuer have never publicly made a speech against sponsoring Qatar Airways.

But you know it: relativists love and love everyone. One Love. Love wins all. Or rather, not all…These world champions of morals for years have said nothing about the serial attacks on gays not in Doha, but in Neukölln, the great multicultural district of Berlin. “The vast majority of the perpetrators are young men with an Arab-Turkish migrant background or those who move in environments influenced by Islam”.

The Weltwoche weekly summarizes German hypocrisy: “When Interior Minister Nancy Faeser raised the rainbow flag in the courtyard of her ministry on the occasion of the ‘Day against homophobia’, she declared that homophobia exists ‘in all sectors of society’. But the integration officer for the Berlin district of Neukölln, Güner Balci, added that more and more gay couples are moving away from there, because they fear attacks by young Muslims”.

But it is always important to remember that Europe’s foreign and energy policy is based on its famous “values”. Qatar is founded on Sharia law and is known for its persecution of women, Christians,as well as for funding a bit of all the Islamist scoundrels in the world (like Hamas to which it supplies 400 million dollars a year but no one says anything even if it kills [or attempts to kill] Israeli Jews every week), but certainly Qatar has a much more democratic system than Russia, so in Habeck’s words “15 years is great”. The German minister is referring to the contract for Qatari gas in force from 2026 to 2041.

In German, “das Moralin”, the moraline, is a neologism coined by Friedrich Nietzsche to make fun of those who put morality on their shoulders to make it known urbi et orbi that they are on the proper side, courageous and “on the left”.

But how will Germany respond to future special editions to send to Qatari banks? Perhaps they will color stadiums to protest Iran, an ally of Qatar, where homosexuals are hanged from cranes and 4,000-6,000 of them have been killed since 1979? Or Indonesia, where homosexuals in Aceh are legally punished with 77 public lashes, and Saudi Arabia, where gays are executed?

The hypocrites are playing at home against Orban’s Hungary, for having passed a law that prevents school children from being taught that there are “infinite genders. ” He was treated as a moral criminal, but they are not even in the match with Islam.

Germany, like the rest of Europe, needs gas, but cannot get enough of it without violating its own “moral standards”.

Doha turns out to be much more honest. “We Muslims are one billion in the world and we are proud of our religion. As Muslims, LGBTQ is not acceptable. Germany? “Other than rights, when he comes here he only talks about gas”. So the me Qatar’s Energy Minister speaking to BILD this week shatters European hypocrisy.

Germany is like the entertainment giants. Disney fills Western children’s minds with gender fluid characters. But for streaming in the Middle East it applies the strictest self-censorship so as not to offend Islam.

They have to sell: copies of newspapers, films, cartoons, advertising and liquid gas. So spare us the moral exhibitionism of rainbow bands, hands in mouths and moral press releases. In 2026 there will be the World Cup in the United States and Donald Trump could be president again. There will be many armbands to put on, knees to the ground and mouths to shut.

Western morality always finds the best way to show off without paying a price.

Countless modern instances create a scenario in which I find myself yearning for past eras or alternate realities — living in an amoral culture of Sodom-like depravity is something I find detestable, and frankly, intolerable — but there’s one reason in particular that compels my nostalgia and/or wishful thinking, and it’s rather petty. I miss the time when Meghan Markle and Harry weren’t constantly in the news cycle, for one ridiculous thing after the other.

First there were claims that an unidentified family member had “concerns” about their unborn child’s skin color, not saying it didn’t happen, but those same family members slobbered over the Obamas, so I find it hard to believe; then the couple used millions of taxpayer dollars to redesign their personal residence with luxury renovations, but don’t worry, they paid it back after the scrutiny, so hats off; and just recently we learned that one of Markle’s latest podcast episodes which routinely features “serial moaning” and “controversial claims” ranked below an 8-hour track of baby lullabies.

Despite all those particulars — I would be mortified if that were me — Harry and Meghan refuse to go gracefully, dignity be damned! Apparently there was a Netflix “documentary” in the works, and the trailer just dropped….

Now admittedly, I am completely ignorant of the cinema and film industry — so I did a quick internet search, looking for what those in the field had to say about their mission when embraking on the production of a documentary. I found this:

Documentaries can preserve important events or parts of history – sometimes stories or archival footage that other people would rather bury. This gives the world not only a better understanding of events in the past but also a glimpse of what we might face in the future.

Below is a second perspective:

[A documentary’s] goal is to bring to light a certain cause or injustice with the hope that their film will help galvanize the masses to demand change.

These defined parameters and stated objectives seemed to make sense with the little I do know: Blackfish sought to expose the sordid side of Sea World (“stories… that other people would rather bury”), and therefore encourage action against whales in captivity; An Inconvenient Truth (if you can even call that a documentary) had a mission to rally support for action against “global warming” — or is it “global cooling” now?

So why the heck is there a documentary about Harry and Meghan? Are Harry and Meghan important historical figures? Are they raising awareness for a societal ill or pandemic?

No, not at all. First, they’re indistinguishable from the rest of Hollywood and philanthropic-types. They contribute to the historical record like any number of guests on Jerry Springer contributes to the historical record — for absurdity alone. Secondly, there’s no hint of this being an altruistic project, at least not from the trailer.

So what’s the “mission”?

There isn’t a mission! There’s zero evidence this cinematic endeavor fits the conventional purpose of a documentary (preserving human history or promoting humanitarianism), and, I know this is going to be hard to believe, but it’s clear that it’s nothing more than another nauseating, self-promoting, vanity project. Imagine that from a mediocre Hollywood actress.

The trailer begins with someone posing the question, “Why do you [emphasis added] want to make this documentary?” to which Markle replies, “Doesn’t it make sense to hear our story from us?”

Isn’t that what a primetime interview is for?

Furthermore, Harry and Meghan were the brains behind this project? They came up with the idea to make the documentary, rather than an actual documentarian? I mean, that’s what it sounds like given the tone of the question, juxtaposed with the (lack of traditional) content. I’d like Harry and Meghan to explain to me how this isn’t just a less-trashy version of the Kardashian show….

If Markle’s podcast can’t beat out baby lullabies, what’s the likelihood this new show will beat out Cocomelon?
