India: Hijab-wearing teacher goes into depression after her students harass her by making videos saying ‘I love you’ to her

Screengrabs from the viral video.

In a strange incident, students at a school in Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, were booked for taunting a teacher and making obscene remarks about her.

The teacher, a hijab-wearing woman, filed a formal complaint, saying that she is depressed as a result of students making sexually inappropriate comments and making the videos public.

The incident occurred in Meerut’s Ram Manohar Lohia Inter College in the Kithor Police Station area, where Aman, Kaif, and Amaltas of Class 12 openly harassed the teacher teaching in their class. Occasionally they said ‘I love you’ in class, and at times they embarrassed the teacher by making vulgar remarks during the prayer gathering.

According to the teacher, who is Muslim and wears a hijab throughout school, she is quite disturbed by the students’ behaviour. The students finally crossed the limit of her tolerance when they shared the video of harassment on social media. Fearing defamation in the classroom and now in her neighbourhood, the teacher decided to take action and notified the police. An FIR has been filed as a result.

According to inspector Arvind Mohan Sharma, 4 students including a girl have been booked under IPC Sections 354 and 500 and Section 67 of the Information Technology Act. The teacher has stated that she has been going through depression as a result of this harassment.

In the videos which have gone viral on social media, the students can be seen making obscene remarks and saying ‘I Love You’ to the teacher inside the classroom while she is teaching. Three boys can be seen making lewd remarks to the teacher while one of them has a lollipop in his mouth.

The student can be seen licking a lollipop while making sexually inappropriate remarks about the teacher. As a hijab-wearing woman gets harassed, Ironically, women who wear hijabs are considered safer than those who do not. Women who refuse to wear hijab are also objectified as unwrapped sweets or lollipops by hijab apologists.

On social media, the lollipop allegory is especially popular among conservative Muslims. A lollipop with a swarm of flies on it is depicted, as is a covered lollipop with flies staying away from it. “You cannot avoid them, but you can protect yourself. Your Creator knows what is better for you.”  the caption says.

The example goes on to argue that Muslim women who wear hijabs deserve respect, but those who do not follow the Islamic mandate of wearing a veil are akin to unwrapped lollipops and candies and should be avoided and rejected.

ANTIFA Terrorists Are Reportedly Planning Terror Attacks On Tesla Dealerships

Trudeau: I Had to Use Martial Law to Suppress Freedom Convoy Because “What If Someone Had Gotten Hurt”?

A totalitarian clown doesn’t stop being a clown just because he’s also a totalitarian.

As the investigation delves into Trudeau’s illegal decision to ruthlessly suppress the Freedom Convoy protests, the investigation turned up extraordinary coordination and pressure from the Biden administration.

Meanwhile Trudeau’s defense of ruthlessly suppressing a peaceful protest is, literally, “What if someone had gotten hurt?”

Not someone got hurt. What if someone had gotten hurt.

This isn’t even, “We had to destroy the village to save the village.” It’s, “We had to destroy the village because what if someone had stubbed a toe?”

Canada’s prime minister says he is “serene and confident” in his decision to invoke never-before-used emergency powers to end a protest of pandemic public health measures that occupied the nation’s capital for three weeks last winter.

Justin Trudeau told a public inquiry Friday that he had to consider what might happen if he didn’t take action to end the so-called Freedom Convoy occupation.

What might have happened.

On that theory, Trudeau has to be urgently removed from office and fitted with one of those Hannibal Lecter facemasks. True, he hasn’t drugged and cannibalized anyone yet, but we have to consider what might happen if we don’t take action.

“What if the worst had happened in those following days? What if someone had gotten hurt, what if a police officer had been put in hospital?” he said.

“I would have worn that,” he continued. “The responsibility of a prime minister is to make the tough calls and keep people safe.”

What if the government decided to deprive people of civil liberties on a massive scale on a what if pretext that didn’t actually happened.

If Justin is so worried, why didn’t he shut down Black Lives Matter riots?

Do you know who actually sent police officers to the hospital?

It was in the short time between when I wrote the piece and when it was published that “peaceful protesters” tore down the statue of Sir John A. Macdonald in Montreal, a scene that saw a viral response of dismay erupt from a large part of the nation.

Around the same time, seven police officers were injured – some sent to hospital – following a protest that got out of hand in midtown Toronto, also on Saturday. Seven. That’s a lot.

Here’s a question. A what if question.

What if Trudeau and his regime protects violent thugs they agree with while destroying the civil liberties of peaceful protesters they disagree with.

What if?

Twitter’s Brussels office dismantled

Elon Musk. Wikipedia

The move by Elon Musk to rid the online platform of “woke” ideologues, has sparked EU concern over online content control. With Twitter dismantling its entire Brussels office, some EU officials claim the platform will no longer comply with their new rules on controlling online content.

The Brussels departures are part of a global trend, seen from India to France. Twitter executives who had previously dealt with government officials have either left the organisation in recent weeks or have been laid off in what appears to be a major staff reorganisation.

The company thus no longer has the staff to ensure compliance with local laws designed to control online content. EU sources have warned that this could expose the company to legal and regulatory action.

“I am concerned about the news of Twitter firing so many staff in Europe,” Věra Jourová, EU vice-president in charge of the “disinformation code”, told the Financial Times. “If you want to detect and take effective action against disinformation and propaganda, it requires resources.

“Especially in the context of the Russian disinformation war, I expect Twitter to fully respect EU law and honour its commitments. Twitter has been a very useful partner in the fight against disinformation and illegal hate speech and this must not change.”

Two individuals  in charge of Twitter’s digital policy in Europe, left the company last week, according to five people with knowledge of the departures. It is not clear whether the two had resigned or had been fired.

Musk issued an ultimatum last week for staff to commit to a “hardcore work culture”.

Twitter no longer EU tool

The two had been leading the company’s efforts to comply with the EU’s “disinformation code” and the Digital Services Act, which came into force just recently, dictating new rules on how large companies “must keep users safe online”, essentially banning all content that does not toe the EU line.

Other Twitter executives in the Brussels office, seen as a crucial instrument for European policymakers, left the company earlier this month during staff cuts which saw half of its 7 500 employees eliminated.

The lay-offs came in the wake of a broken promise by various leftwing and “woke” organizations not to harm the platform’s advertising revenue.

Musk explained on Tuesday that his initial plan to have a “content moderation council with widely diverse viewpoints” had been designed because “a large coalition of political/social activist groups agreed not to try to kill Twitter by starving us of advertising revenue if I agreed to this condition”. Sadly, “they broke the deal” by immediately organizing an advertiser boycott against him.

In response, Musk said that he would rather listen to the voice of the people. On the US holiday of Thanksgiving, he announced that a general amnesty for suspended Twitter users who had not “broken the law or engaged in egregious spam” would begin “next week”.

Musk had posted a poll the day before the holiday on this issue and over 3 million votes, 72,4 percent of users said “yes” while only 27,6 percent said “no”.

“The people have spoken,” Musk announced after the poll closed. “Amnesty begins next week. Vox Populi, Vox Dei.”

Last month, the ADL had threatened Musk with “dire consequences” if he allowed back “dangerous individuals” like Donald Trump, Alex Jones, Nick Fuentes, Steve Bannon, Andrew Tate and David Duke.

Europe questions Biden administration’s Ukraine war-profiteering, gas, and greenie energy policies

By Monica Showalter

Over in Europe, the locals are wondering: “Is Washington still our ally?”

Such is the mismanagement of relations by the Biden administration, whose gas sales, greenie subsidies from its “Inflation Reduction Act,” and arms sales pretty well have left the Europeans on the losing end.

According to a long report in the Daily Mail, summed up with these bullet points:

  • European Union officials are accusing the United States of profiting off the Ukraine war with Russia over the price of gas and weapons sold by the US
  • One senior European official recently said in an interview with Politico that America is the country ‘that is most profiting from this war’
  • The frustration comes as Europeans also raise concerns over President Joe Biden’s green subsidies, which they say could wreak havoc on EU countries
  • The Biden Administration denied the allegations, saying that gas prices have risen due to ‘Putin’s invasion of Ukraine and Putin’s energy war; on Europe
  • The Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) and its ‘buy American’ provisions could kneecap several European countries over the next year

So the arms sales are an issue, given that the U.S.’s $19 billion contributions have dwarfed Europe’s, and show no signs of slowing down. The Europeans, on the other hand, are running out of rockets, their own lesser contributions being more than they can afford, yet they are always being pressured to give more. That is making at least some of them suspicious that this is a Biden Crime Family profiteering operation. The longer the war goes on, the more money they make. As for Ukraine, well, the government there has no serious peace talks in the pipeline with Russia. Plenty of time, though, for Vogue photo shoots. Sounds pretty wretched.

What’s concerning to us as Americans is not that we are carrying Europe’s water in this, but that there is no auditor monitoring that the funds are spent honestly. An amendment proposed by Sen. Rand Paul of Kentucky for accountability in Ukraine spending was dismissed by the Chuck Schumer-controlled Senate. With no auditor, anything can be happening with that money. The Europeans, at least see some sort of problem given that there seems to be some kind of incentive out there to extend the war for as long as possible.

The gas sales, with Europeans being forced to pay for higher imported gas in replacement of the gas they got from Russia is a bit skeevier as an issue. After all, the Europeans laughed when President Trump warned them not to get dependent on fuel from Russia. They did, and now they must pay the piper — over in Washington, where the replacement sales are coming from.

The Mail reports that Biden was on another planet when they asked him about it:

At the G20 summit in Bali, EU officials reportedly asked Biden about the high gas prices, to which the American President ‘seemed unaware of the issue,’ according to the official who spoke with Politico.

‘The rise in gas prices in Europe is caused by Putin’s invasion of Ukraine and Putin’s energy war against Europe, period,’ a spokesperson for Biden’s National Security Council told the outlet.

The “Putin did it” excuse may fool them in Democrat circles in the states, but it didn’t fool the Europeans. So much for Biden’s diplomatic prowess.

All the same, the Europeans need to take a good look at themselves and how they got here, begging Joe Biden for cheap fuel: Maybe they can crank up their old natural gas wells in the North Sea and off the coast of the Netherlands, as well as coal plants, and nuclear plants, instead of rely on greenie energy, if they are serious about that one. Having to buy from petrotyrants because you fail to pump your own is a self-created problem. Joe Biden, of course, does the same thing himself, yet exports some to Europe, to our detriment.

Lastly, there’s the much-reviled “Inflation Reduction Act” which as it turns out, penalizes Europe, given that most of the greenie energy projects include a “Made in U.S.A.” label. It’s not as if the European Union doesn’t do this itself on a host of goods Americans buy from them. But all the same, big subsidies to non-sustainable-without-subsidies projects such as green energy has had many knock-on effects which harm allies. European companies are pulling up stakes and coming to the U.S. to take advantage of all that Biden green free money, which wasn’t exactly the plan when Biden’s minions created the Inflation Reduction Act in the first place. They are leaving Europe and the U.S. is benefitting. No wonder that leaves them steaming.

Good diplomatic management? Doesn’t sound like it. Biden has managed to annoy Europe on a host of fronts, the friendliest most anti-Trump allies out there. Maybe they will long for the days of Trump, where policies were sound and everyone knew where they stood.

Pope ‘wants me dead’ says Cardinal Angelo Becciu

Cardinal Angelo Becciu, the highest ranking Vatican cleric to be tried for financial crimes, told his family in a recent chat that Pope Francis wanted him dead, La Repubblica and Corriere della Sera dailies reported online Friday.
“He wants me dead” and “I didn’t think we’d get to this point” were two of the comments reportedly made public by the Vatican’s promoter of justice Wednesday in the trial into alleged mismanagement of Vatican funds including a London property on Sloane Avenue.
“I didn’t think we would get to this point: he want my death,” Becciu said in a message to his relative Giovanna Pani on July 22 last year, the promoter reportedly said.
This was two days before, as revealed Thursday, Becciu secretly taped a phone conversation with the pope with the help of Pani’s daughter, and Becciu’s niece, Maria Luisa Zambrano.
In the chat, Pani urges Becciu to be brave saying “you’ll see that the truth will triumph”, to which he replied “for now it is they who are triumphing and transfixing us!”, adding “victory will go to the honest”.
Pani also writes to Becciu: “He’s bad, he wants your end,” referring to “su Mannu”, Sardinian for “the big guy” and therefore the pope.
The cardinal replies: “He doesn’t want to make a bad impression over the initial conviction he gave me” and also “I would never have imagined that a man, let alone a pope, would go so far”.
Pani replies to this: “He’s a great coward, but you fight and let your truth shine out, it’s hard I know, courage, we’ll win fully”, and adds: “there’s something rotten in the Vatican”.
The messages were intercepted by finance guards from Oristano.
