Rumble Leaves France to Avoid Censorship Demands

This week, video platform Rumble chose free speech over funds, leaving France after the government demanded that the platform increase censorship.

The Ron Paul Institute’s Daniel McAdams reported Wednesday, “Faced with French Government demands that free-speech video platform Rumble censor Russian news channels, the company’s CEO simply said ‘no.’ No more Rumble for France. It’s a brave example of how to resist ‘cancel culture.’”

As noted above, the big target of the French government was Russian state media on Rumble. I think Russia is totally in the wrong in its continuing and destructive invasion of Ukraine, but the problem with censorship is that it never stops with the foreign enemy (and France isn’t officially at war with Russia anyway). Rumble probably saw warning signals.

Anyone can be labeled “dangerous” by modern authoritarians. In America, a Homeland Security Department (DHS) National Terrorism Advisory System Bulletin in February claimed that “false or misleading narratives and conspiracy theories, and other forms of mis- dis- and mal-information“ contribute to a “heightened threat environment.”

If the U.S. is basically calling critiques of the government terrorism, why shouldn’t France go down the same road? After all, French President Emmanuel Macron previously said that anyone refusing the COVID-19 vaccines was “not a citizen.”

Rumble is probably wise to get out of France at the initial demand of censorship.

Germany: Islamist double murderer from Oggersheim has already injured a man with a knife and was only sentenced to community service, which he did not fulfil

In the wake of the knife attack in Oggersheim, new details about the suspected double murderer have leaked out. According to these, the 25-year-old had already stabbed a man in 2021.

Even two weeks after the brutal knife attack in Ludwigshafen-Oggersheim leaving two dead, the shock still runs deep in the population and especially among the victims’ relatives! Now new alarming details have come to light about the suspected perpetrator ( aged 25), who is in custody for two counts of murder, attempted murder and dangerous bodily harm.

The young Somali is alleged to have killed two workmen ( aged 20/35) at two crime scenes in the area of Philipp-Scheidemann-Straße/Comeniusstraße on October 18 at around 12:20 a.m. and to have seriously injured a 27-year-old man with a knife in a Rossmann drugstore.

This is not the first time that the 25-year-old accused has stabbed! Already in May 2021, he attacked and injured another man with a screwdriver. However, his proceedings for bodily harm before the Neustadt district court have initially been discontinued under conditions, as reported by public broadcaster SWR.

In addition, the Somali man with a police record, who arrived in Germany as a recognised refugee in 2015 and most recently lived in a shelter in Neustadt, apparently did not complete the community service hours imposed on him. According to a court spokeswoman, he thus violated the court’s conditions.

Remarkably, his retrial had been scheduled for Thursday ( October 20) or Friday ( October 21) two to three days after the knife attack in Oggersheim. However, as is well known, this did not happen because the 25-year-old had to be neutralised by a police officer with four shots from his service weapon while still in the Rossmann shop and lay under guard in hospital for days.

‘India wrongly portrayed as a fascist state’, ‘India’s intellectual class is anti-India’: Australian sociologist Dr Salvatore Babones

Image source- Screenshot from the viral video

On Saturday, Australian sociologist Dr Salvatore Babones participated in the India Today Conclave in Mumbai, Maharashtra to opine that India is being wrongly portrayed as a fascist state by the global media, which is affecting its image internationally. He also cornered the left-liberal ecosystem in India who usually keeps on targeting the BJP-led government and called them ‘anti-India.

In conversation with ‘journalist’ Rajdeep Sardesai, Babones, who is an associate professor at the University of Sydney, stated that the organizations and the so-called ‘liberal’ intellectuals who build their opinions against the government are ‘anti-India’. “India’s intellectual class is anti-India. There is also a class of society who is anti-Modi and anti-BJP, as a class, not as an individual,” he said.

He added that the left-liberal intellectuals base their criticism on the aspect which probably is never going to change. “Suppose that the UPA government comes into power. Is it going to take down the Ram Mandir, is it going to get rid of the UAPA? So the basis on which the criticisms are made, that basis will probably remain in place. If they do, the same criticisms will apply to them”, he noted.

Sardesai, who meanwhile seemed upset during the conversation, tried defending the anti-India brigade, saying questioning the government is an act of patriotism. “Patriotism, as separated from nationalism, is questioning your government. So the intellectuals you are demonizing are the intellectuals we should be celebrating because, unlike others, they are at least raising a few red flags. This is India’s greatness. Why not celebrate these instead of calling them anti-India?” he asked.

To this, Dr Salvatore Babones said that these ‘intellectuals’ need to analyze first that are they questioning the government or the BJP-led government only. “The issue is, is this tied to the BJP government or will it continue inevitably to any other government who will come to power at some point in time? Will there be a recalibration of opinions then?” he responded.

“India has problems. And activists, journalists, and intellectuals absolutely have a role to call out the problems. But the problem is that they allow internationally to colour the overall evaluation of this system,” he said. He reiterated that India is not a fascist country and that it is being wrongly portrayed as a fascist state by the global media.

Climate terrorists glue hands to Goya frames at Spain’s Prado

Two climate terrorists on Saturday each glued a hand to the frame of paintings by Spanish master Francisco Goya in Madrid to protest inaction in the face of global warming. The protest at the famed Prado museum damaged neither painting, but the protesters scrawled “+1,5°C” on the wall between the two artworks and both were detained, police said.

Saturday’s stunt in Madrid was the latest increasingly daring action taken by climate terrorists to grab the headlines, including throwing soup on Vincent van Gogh paintings in London and Rome, and mashed potatoes on a Claude Monet masterpiece.

Climate terrorist group Extinction Rebellion posted a video online showing the two terrorists each with a hand fixed on a painting before museum security moved in. The group said the two artworks in question were “The Naked Maja” and “The Clothed Maja”.

France: Congolese Repeat Rapist with Deportation Order Arrested AGAIN for Sex Assault

A Congolese migrant with a deportation order from France who has been convicted of rape several times since 2000 has again been arrested for sexual assault, just two months after leaving prison.

The 43-year-old Congolese national, named as Pablo T., was arrested on October 25th by police in Rennes after he allegedly attempted to sexually abuse a young woman in the lobby of a building after asking her for a cigarette.

According to information given to local police, the African migrant attempted to push the woman up against a wall with the intent of raping her, but neighbours were alerted by her screams and the man fled after catching sight of them, CNews reports.

Following a description of the attacker by the victim, members of the anti-crime squad (BAV) were able to locate and detain the migrant a short time later as he was found attempting to follow another woman into the lobby of another building.

Pablo T. is said to have an extensive history of rape convictions beginning in 2000 when he was sentenced for rape. He served little time in prison, being released in 2005 — and carrying out another rape against his cousin shortly afterwards.

Following that incident, he was sentenced to a still relatively light 15 years. This dod not stop him from sexually assaulted another woman in 2018, who was visiting the prison where he was held.

Despite this, the 43-year-old was released in August of this year, supposedly under judicial supervision.

While he was initially placed in a deportation centre and was meant to be removed from France on August 4th, he was released on September 30th.

He was declared to be Angolan in 1992 when he arrived in France with his parents, who claimed to have fled to Congo from Angola. Neither Angola nor Congo have recognized him as a citizen and have refused to accept him back.

The case is yet another of a migrant arrested for a crime while being subject to a deportation order in France, a topic that has been the subject of discussion following the murder of a 12-year-old girl named Lola in Paris last month after it was revealed her alleged killer was also scheduled to be deported.

French Interior Minister Gerald Darmanin has vowed to do more to facilitate deportations, including floating the idea of putting those with deportation orders on the criminal wanted list.

How You can Derail the Climate Agenda

By Denis de Bernardy

It’s time, once again, for another climate conference. This will be the 27th desperate effort to save the planet. It doesn’t have to be this way.

The fearmongers are hard at work. They’ve put out no less than 8 reports in the run-up to the event. We must act now, experts squeal. The alternative is dire, as always. The coverage is relentless, especially in rags that take money from conservancies.

A small twist this year is the number of leaders who won’t show up. UK prime minister Rishi Sunak was among the first to pass. The event was set for failure by the time he changed his mind. As of writing, the leaders of China, India, and a host of other countries will not attend.

Buckingham Palace stepped in to steal the spotlight in between. King Charles hosted a reception on Friday to signal how critical the issue is for him. He understands the stakes better than anyone. The Crown pockets rent revenues for offshore wind turbines, and the conservancies that run its hunting reserves pocket carbon offsets.

The usual charade will start on Sunday. Dignitaries who arrived in private jets will lecture us about fossil fuels. Except for John Kerry, that is. He’s flying commercial this year. That’s more virtuous, still a lot of carbon emissions. Try sailing and riding a mule next time, John.

Looming food shortages might put land use tied to meat in the spotlight. Or not. This problem seems to be solving itself. Feed costs are prompting feedlot operators to thin their herds. Schools are getting our kids used to eating bugs.

Another question mark is deep-sea mining. The Metals Company has just finished tearing down what few legal barriers stood in the way. Destroying our oceans to save the planet may seem offbeat, but mineral reserves are short, and our green tech transition demands that we mine more, faster.

Thankfully, climate experts have sketched a few options for us to stay on track. One is simply to use less energy. This makes sense, except no one wants to be told to lower their thermostat or drive less. You do that only when off-the-charts energy prices (or rationing) force you to. Or when blackouts rule out heating your home and charging your electric car.

Another option is to capture and sequester the carbon dioxide that comes out of industrial smokestacks. Fossil fuel giants love this idea. Pumping carbon dioxide down a well makes oil come up. The market potential is huge. They will be rebranding themselves as climate saviors in no time.

The last option is bio-sequestration. If you know anything about rocket mass heaters and hemp’s knack for soaking up toxins, this might conjure up the image of a smokestack piped inside a hemp field using a glorified irrigation system. But that would hurt carbon sequestration profits.

In practice, bio-sequestration stands for activities that range from benign ones like coastal restoration projects and regenerative farming to far less benign ones like tree planting and nature conservation projects.

The latter two are nothing short of malevolent, in fact. One’s wilderness is another’s home, and conservancies tend to mismanage it after taking over. Minesare that much easier to open once the locals are kicked out. The park guards sometimes leave huts behind for the tourists.

In their defense, conservancy donors seldom know that they are funding big game hunting estates, safari tourism, commercial tree plantations (tree planting), and mining operations on stolen lands in developing countries.

It’s less defensible that environmental policy preachers don’t know that they’re promoting racist neocolonial policies. They’ll be thrilled to learn what they’re devoting their careers to if you politely tell them.

At the same time, methinks exposing this egregious reality to them will not stop the climate agenda any more than debunking climate science ever did. A clique of “experts” is all that’s needed to keep it going. What might stop it, however, is an oversight that I’d like to share with you.

Climate science, you see, is not just wrong about the link between carbon dioxide and climate. It is so wrong that it doesn’t even get the diagnosis right when you take the narrative at face value.

The proof of this arose out of the 2020 lockdowns. Two findings emerged. The first was that fossil fuel use dropped by only so much. The other was that atmospheric carbon increased like clockwork.

Explaining the fossil fuel use drop is straightforward. Take a supply chain, the violence needed to secure it, the job you need to buy what it is, and the parasites like bankers who facilitate this all. Food is what you use this Rube Goldberg machine for most. Food is huge. Heat is the runner-up.

It follows that the most effective way to reduce fossil fuel use is to promote gardening and urban farming. Concerned activists would be much better off doing just that. (Some do.) For heat, use a rocket mass heater.

The low correlation between fossil fuels and atmospheric carbon is subtler. It derives from an accounting chicanery. Whereas industrial emissions get tracked, natural emissions get stashed inside a carbon stock black box. This keeps them out of sight except for cherry-picked entries like meat.

This framework makes sense only if avoidable natural emissions are small. Forestry research shows that they are anything but. A cleared forest emits kilograms of carbon dioxide per square meter until the canopy recovers, or nothing at all if you leave a canopy behind by thinning the forest instead.

Farm fields emit too. You can tell on NASA visualizations when farmers are tilling or harvesting. In the past, hedgerows would keep the fungi alive, slow down the wind, and help soak up these emissions. Nowadays, farm fields are more like cleared forests: they’re wide open with no canopy.

These emissions are so much bigger than fossil fuels that it’s not even a contest. A recent research paper showed that a mere 12% of the carbon dioxide in the atmosphere was tied to fossil fuels. So clearly, it’s soil, not oil. The carbon hockey stick is a simple canopy loss problem.

Planting trees where we harvest crops would trivially solve it. Switching to alley cropping is a good way to do that: you get the hedgerows, and you can still use machinery. It is profitable and allows one to harvest more water when done right. Enough water harvesting will allow us to re-green a desert.

So there you have it. Promote growing food if you care about fossil fuels; alley cropping if you care about the carbon hockey stick; or both if you care about stopping the climate agenda.

The latter will end this clown show in my opinion because empowerment breeds hope. There is no more effective way to wake up a demoralized person than to give them hope by empowering them. This is because it’s easier to give hope than it is to dispel fear. Hope is a potent weapon.

As such, live empowered and empower others at every opportunity. You can do your bit to spread hope by sharing this information far and wide.
