Germany: Syrian gang of children attacks and tortures prostitutes

They are almost still children – and brutally attacked prostitutes to rob them. The gang includes ten Syrians, the youngest is only 14, the oldest 19 years old. Among the victims: Ioanna (aged 24) from Hagen. On Tuesday, her alleged tormentors were caught.

In a high-rise building in Röttgen Street, officers arrested the accused brothers Abdelkarim (16) and Mahmoud A. (17). Arrest warrants were executed against two other accomplices (16, 17) at their addresses. In addition, the flats of six other co-accused (14, 15, 16, 17, 17 and 19) were searched.

During the raid by the “Date” investigation commission, suspected weapons (including a pistol) and valuables such as jewellery, which might have originated from the robberies, were seized.

The gang’s scam: They were looking for their victims on the internet portal www.ladies.de. One of them pretended to be a client, called the prostitute and arranged a meeting. Then they started robbing the ladies, usually in groups of five. There were at least three victims, and more are suspected. According to the newspaper BILD, the investigators found a video of another alleged crime on a confiscated mobile phone.

The attack on Ioanna on July 1 in Hagen shows how brutal the perpetrators were. The Greek-born woman was choked, held down and beaten. She briefly lost consciousness. Then Ioanna felt the next blows. Kicks hit her skull. One of them poured the dustbin over her. Everyone laughed.

Someone even tried to set fire to the rubbish, but was pushed away. After about ten minutes, the perpetrators locked Ionanna up and fled with over 1000 euros in cash, a gold bracelet and a mobile phone.

Her lawyer Christian Simonis told BILD: “Ioanna is still suffering from the injuries of the attack. She is very relieved that the criminals have now been arrested and hopes that they will get a deserved punishment in court.”

Germany: Syrian asylum seeker murders prostitute

In four years of pre-trial detention, Mohamed A. ( aged 28) has already grown a long beard – since Thursday, he has been on trial for the third time for the murder of a prostitute.

Senior public prosecutor Dirk Stickeln (58) is convinced: the Syrian asylum seeker had sex with Natasha D. (†35) on the Hamm prostitutes’ patch on September 12, 2018. “Then he grabbed her from behind and strangled her. He intended to cause the death of the victim,” said the prosecution representative.

On April 15, 2019, Mohamed A. was sentenced to eight and a half years in prison for manslaughter. The Federal Supreme Court (BGH) overturned the sentence.

In the second trial, the accused then was sentenced to life – for murder! But this sentence was also overturned by the senior judges in Karlsruhe!

The reasoning is complicated. The Syrian probably didn’t have the money to pay for sex with Natasha. Did he kill her so that she could not report him? Or did he do it to prevent passers-by in the vicinity from not noticing the crime? According to the Federal Supreme Court, these questions have not been sufficiently clarified.

This motivation of the killer must now be clarified by the court headed by judge Matthias Röcken. All witnesses will be heard again. In the end, however, the life sentence may be confirmed.

Mohamed A. remained silent at the start of the trial. His lawyer Jerritt Schöll (41) announced, however, that there would be a statement in the further course of the trial. In the first trial, he did not want to remember what happened after the sex in the bushes at the airport.

The man, who studied economics in Syria and fled to Germany in 2016, said at the time: “I woke up at home and a voice told me I had a big problem with a dead woman.”

Natasha D. left behind a young daughter (now 7). The sister of the single Bulgarian, Iliana Z. (38), told the newspaper BILD: “She worked as a prostitute because she wanted to give her daughter a better life. Later she wanted to study foreign languages.”

The Dortmund Regional Court has scheduled five trial dates this time. A verdict could be reached on November 17.

Playing a dangerous game: Permission granted to launch attacks on Russia

The West officially claims that it is not a party to the war in Ukraine. However, in view of the immense arms deliveries and entire training programs with which Western states are supporting the Ukrainian armed forces, this is extremely questionable.

Even the scientific service of the German Bundestag came to the conclusion in the spring that the training of Ukrainian soldiers would make Germany a party to the war.

However, the West apparently still has a much more direct influence on the Ukrainian conduct of the war – and is thus playing an extremely dangerous game. The Swedish mercenary Kenneth Gregg, who fights as a volunteer on the Ukrainian side and regularly reports on Facebook about the current fighting situation, revealed this involuntarily. His Facebook page has over 11 000 followers.

On October 17, he wrote that there was “good news regarding our right to attack Russian military targets on Russian soil. To think that it has taken so long for the West to give us the right to eliminate the threats before they reach the border. We attacked 35 different military targets around Belgorad and Kursk, including a military airport, missile launch pads, fuel depots, command centers, etc.”

So the Kremlin is not entirely wrong when it claims that Russia is confronted with the military capacities of the “collective West” in Ukraine, as the Kremlin chief Putin recently explained in his speech on September 30.

To date, Western governments have always denied any such involvement in the actions of Ukrainian troops. In September, head of the US Special Operations Command Europe Steven Edwards claimed that US special forces involved in training Ukrainian soldiers had been pulled out of Ukraine after February 24.

However, the New York Times reported weeks ago that, for example, the plans for the current counter-offensive by the Ukrainians had been drawn up in Kiev with the significant participation of American and British officers. American voters however, do not support this escalation.

Information published on the US State Department website earlier in October revealed that Washington has been involved in providing Kiev with military training-related assistance since 2014. Other countries which trained the Ukrainian Army include: Canada, Germany, Denmark, Netherlands, Spain, Portugal, Sweden, Finland, Norway, Iceland, Estonia, Lithuania, Latvia and New Zealand.

EU countries agreed earlier in October to train 15 000 Ukrainian soldiers as part of its so-called Military Assistance Mission under Admiral Herve Blejean, the director of the EEAS’ Military Planning and Conduct Capability, acting as mission commander. French Armies Minister Sebastien Lecornu will be providing training to some 2 000 Ukrainian troops.

Only Hungary’s Foreign Minister Peter Szijjarto declined to take part, saying that Budapest would “not participate in this training mission”.

‘Don’t make changes in Muslim Personal Law, Sharia has to be obeyed’: General secretary of Indian Muslim League’s women’s wing

Image: SirajLive

PK Noorbina Rasheed, national general secretary of the Indian Union Women’s League (IUWL), has requested that no alterations be done to Muslim personal law that will be in conflict with Islamic/ Sharia Law by the Department-related Parliamentary Standing Committee on Personnel, Public Grievances, Law and Justice, which was formed to review personal laws in the country.

IUWL is the women’s wing of the Kerala-based Indian Union Muslim League.

The IUWL leader stated in a memorandum to Deputy Secretary Goutam Kumar attached to the Rajya Sabha Secretariat that Muslim personal law was promulgated and maintained to allow Muslims to follow the teachings of the Quran. Personal laws based on religion, faith, and belief were enacted in accordance with the Indian Constitution for a specific class or group of people, she added.

Everyone in India belongs to different castes and religions, each with its own faiths and belief systems based on religious scriptures. According to Noorbina Rasheed, Muslims’ faiths and belief systems are based on the Quran and Sunnah.

The subject ‘Review of Personal Laws’ has been identified for detailed examination by the Department-related Parliamentary Standing Committee on Personnel, Public Grievances, Law, and Justice, chaired by Sushil Kumar Modi. The Committee has invited memoranda having thoughts and suggestions from relevant parties interested in the subject in order to have a broader consultation. Following an examination, the Committee will recommend to the government various statutory and non-statutory reforms in personal and family laws that are followed by the country’s various religious and social groups.

“The Committee is deliberating on various issues pertaining to personal laws in India and inter alia exploring the possibility of codifying different personal laws with a view to responding to the demands of social change and stamping out discriminatory practices that have crept into these laws,” the press release issued by the committee reads.

The Warmists Cop a Plea

By Norman Rogers

When the golden god

Gives their light; drowns the Earth

We the people go blind

Steven Koonin, a prominent scientist, has written a book critical of global warming with the title Unsettled: What Climate Science Tells Us, What it Doesn’t, and Why It Matters. Plenty of important scientists before him have been critical of global warming, but most of those were not as well connected as Koonin, who held a high position during the Obama administration.  Koonin has been harshly attacked by the advocates of global warming doom for not following the party line.

Koonin exposes the faulty science behind the global warming doom theory. As a member of the science establishment, Koonin doesn’t go so far as to use the word “fraud.” He probably should have

Compared to other exposés along the same lines, Koonin’s book carries more weight due to his prominence. Koonin is a high-level defector, and his former friends are not happy.

Koonin’s defection is ideological. He really believes that science is a search for truth, not for fame and fortune. At the age of 70 he is ready to act on his beliefs.

The global warming doom theory is more science fiction than science, but a fiction that is very good for the professors who invented the theory. Climate science was an obscure corner of academia until the professors got the idea that by burning fossil fuels and emitting carbon dioxide mankind will trigger a catastrophic change in the climate. Global warming made the professors important. Instead of toiling away at dusty desks in the basements of tawdry academic buildings, they are flying first class to important meetings wearing thousand-dollar suits.

The evidence for global warming is provided by complicated computer models.  Computer models are the lazy scientist’s friend. It is a lot easier to write a paper or promote a theory using a computer model as compared to, for example, taking samples from a cave in Mongolia. Critics can’t get traction against computer models because it takes entirely too much work to understand the details buried in thousands of lines of code. The climate computer models must be “tuned,” a process of adjusting coefficients and massaging data to make the model agree with previous years’ climate. If a model fails to predict future climate catastrophe, that is a signal that more adjustments are needed. Most scientists are not consciously committing fraud, rather the unconscious process of confirmation bias is at work. Confirmation bias is the tendency to find a path consistent with existing belief. Confirmation bias does not excuse a fraudulent theory. Scientists are supposed to avoid confirmation bias.

Koonin is far from the only critic of computer models. The prophet of population doom, Professor Paul Ehrlich said “to err is human, but to really foul things up requires a computer.” In an oblique reference to the benefits of prophesying doom, Ehrlich said that if he was going to take a trip on the Titanic, he would go first class.

Koonin suggests using red and blue debate teams to aid in revealing the truth. This is a system often used by the military. It is like the adversary system that plays out in courtrooms every day. The terms “red” and “blue” are not meant to refer to political parties.

The red and blue teams are a good idea, but implicitly assumes good faith on both sides. The advocates of global warming almost never engage with their critics due to the danger that the weakness of their position might be revealed.  Attorneys in a courtroom or military officers analyzing a military strategy are not going to lose their jobs if their side in a red and blue debate doesn’t prevail. But if global warming advocates lose the debate, the doom theory will be weakened, and the advocates of the theory will suffer career damage. Thus, if forced into a red and blue team, the global warming professors can be expected to behave unethically and try to destroy the credibility of the debate.

If critics of a scientific theory are attacked or fired from their jobs, that is a signal that the scientific theory really is a political movement. Climate scientists understand the danger and are careful to follow the party line. Secretly, as exposed by anonymous polls, they know that the theories are weak. I’ve often had the experience of a climate scientist swearing me to secrecy before having a discussion.

Global warming is being taken seriously. As a result, trillions are being budgeted for completely impractical wind and solar energy.

There is an extensive network of amateur scientists and non-profit organizations that have websites and write articles critical of global warming doom. A good example is the highly credible website wattsupwiththat.com run by a television meteorologist Anthony Watts. Koonin never mentions this network of critics. Even to the dissenter Koonin, these are invisible men. Professional science tends to be clique science that ignores outsiders and enforces ideological conformity.

Real reform of science would require supervision by people not members of the establishment. It would require cutting extravagant budgets. It would require punishment of unethical conduct. The climate doom situation provides motive for real reform. But if the science establishment is allowed to enter a plea to a lesser crime such as an honest mistake, then real reform will be evaded. They should not be allowed to cop a plea.

German doctors protest government plan to legalize recreational marijuana

Germany is proposing the most radical plan in Europe when it comes to marijuana legalization, but a number of doctors’ associations are pushing back against the plan, arguing the health risks are clear for young people.

The president of the professional association of German pediatricians and adolescent physicians, Thomas Fischbach, has warned against the plans of the country’s so-called traffic light coalition to make cannabis legal.

“Regular cannabis use can cause irreparable brain damage in adolescents and young adults, up to and including permanent impairment of intellectual performance and social competence,” he told Rheinische Post in an interview.

The doctor also pointed out that the drug can cause “irreversible brain damage” in young people, with studies increasingly showing that the drug damages neuron connections and hinders development.

Therefore, the pediatricians and adolescents’ doctors would prefer that there be no legalization of cannabis, because it is unclear how it can be prevented that legally bought cannabis is passed on to under 18-year-olds.

As Remix News previously reported, marijuana is a threat to public health and is increasingly seen as an addictive and dangerous drug due to increased THC content and changing substance abuse patterns related to the drug:

Studies have shown that cannabis use in young people is associated with suicidal thoughts and increased suicide attempts. People who partake in regular use of high-potency THC have an elevated risk for anxiety disorders and schizophrenia. In the city of San Diego, California, there has been a stark increase in emergency room visits since legalization occurred.

“We’re now counting 37 cannabis-related diagnoses a day,” Dr. Roneet Lev, an addiction medicine doctor at Scripps Mercy Hospital in San Diego, told the New York Post, describing her own emergency room experience. “It’s been steadily increasing over the years. When I started in the 1990s, there was no such thing. Now I see one to two cases per shift. The most common symptom is psychosis.”

Lev described just one ER in San Diego, which totals over 13,000 cases related to cannabis every year, with many such cases related to psychosis.

“We probably see 20 THC-induced psychoses for every amphetamine-induced psychosis,” said Ben Cort, who heads a drug and alcohol treatment center in Colorado, which was among the first two U.S. states to legalize marijuana in 2012. In fact, one study showed a 24 percent increase in psychosis cases in ERs in Colorado after marijuana was legalized.

Marijuana also has the highest conversion rate to schizophrenia of any drugs. Two Danish studies, along with a large-scale study from Finland, put the chances of someone developing schizophrenia after going through marijuana-induced psychosis at approximately 50 percent. With psychosis cases rapidly rising in the U.S., the country is also increasingly facing a long-term mental crisis related to marijuana use.

Despite the threats posed by marijuana, on Wednesday, the federal cabinet agreed on key points for the legalization of the drug. According to the agreement, the active ingredient THC in the drug will no longer be classified as a narcotic. The purchase and possession of up to 30 grams is thus to be permitted and limited home cultivation will also be allowed. Sales would be made through specialist stores.

Federal Health Minister Karl Lauterbach (SPD) wants to push ahead with a law to this effect if the plans pass a European and international law test in Brussels.

The Association of German Criminal Police Officers (BDK) also has a number of questions about how the law will be implemented even if the organization is fundamentally in favor of “decriminalizing consumers of all narcotics,” its chairman Dirk Peglow told the newspapers of the Funke Media Group.

However, Peglow said it may become difficult for officers to effectively control the substance. It has not yet been clarified how officers could tell the difference between marijuana purchased legally or illegally. Black market marijuana, for example with higher THC content, is still expected to be sold in Germany. As in the U.S., this black market marijuana may also end up being cheaper than that which is sold legally.

Peglow also said young people need to be protected, warning that the legal purchase of cannabis for adults would threaten to concentrate the illegal trade more on the target group of children and young people.

German education: ‘There has never been a decline like this’

Compared to the overall current picture, the German education disaster looks comparatively harmless. But it is fatal for Germany’s future as an industrial nation.

There is a new study that makes the extent of the decline clear and the Munich ifo Institute for Economic Research has sounded the alarm about the educational and learning deficits of German elementary school students.

“The marked lag is worrying. After all, the basic skills taught at school are the basis of the children’s future life chances and future prosperity in Germany as a whole,” explained ifo education expert Ludger Wößmann. He was referring to the new results of the “Education Trends” of the “Institute for Quality Development in Education” (IQB). “There has never been a decline like this before,” said Wößmann, dismayed.

A learning loss of about a third of the school year has been noted. Calculated over the entire later professional life, this deficit goes hand in hand with an average of around three percent lower earned income for those affected. For the economy as a whole, this could lead to an average 1,5 percent lower gross domestic product over the rest of the century.

According to Wößmann, the decline in results is only partly due to the recent Corona “pandemic”, but also reflects a long-lasting downward trend. What is clearly implied by this trend are the consequences of mass immigration. According to the “Educational Trend”, an average of 38 percent of all primary school children now come from immigrant families.

According to the IQB study, the results in the subjects German and mathematics at the end of primary school are between a quarter and a third of a school year below the level of five years ago. One in five fourth graders no longer even meets the lowest standards for reading and arithmetic.

Compared to ten years ago, the educational losses even correspond to half a school year. All federal states except Hamburg show a significant deterioration.

UK: MPs believe that the inclusion of terrorist Usman Khan’s name in an enquiry report into the London Bridge attack “plays into the hands of the far right”. They want him removed

The name of a Staffordshire terrorist who killed two people in the London Bridge attacks is to be removed from a council report over concerns including it could play into the hands of far right extremists.

Usman Khan, from Stoke-on-Trent, was responsible for the attack at Fishmongers Hall in 2019. At an event to help ex-offenders, he fatally wounded Prisoner Education Scheme volunteers Saskia Jones, 23, and 25-year-old Jack Merritt, before being shot dead by police.

But at a meeting of Staffordshire county council’s Safeguarding Overview and Scrutiny Committee on Monday, which was receiving the chief coroner’s report outlining how future deaths could be prevented following the inquests of Khan’s two victims, debate focused on the inclusion of Khan’s name in the report.

One member claimed that including Khan’s name and ethnic background could provoke an increase in hate crime, while an opponent said the authority should be wary of “watering down” information that was in the public domain.

At the meeting, Councillor Gillian Pardesi said: “Can I suggest those two details are removed please? My concern is that mentioning the name of this person, who happens to be of Pakistani descent, further demonises the Muslim community and it embeds in people out there a stereotypical profile of what an extremist is.

“We are in dire financial straits as a country and the far-right in particular will look for scapegoats to exploit that situation. Unfortunately that has meant, and will continue to mean, a further rise in hate crime and attacks on our Muslim members in particular.

“It also detracts from the fact that we have, in the world as a whole, a far more far-right and neo-Nazi threat than we have now of Islamist jihads. The NSPCC recently reported that a record number of our children are now being groomed by the far-right.

“The far-right, the neo-Nazis and extremists are not hiding away in their bedrooms behind screens. They’re working and living amongst us.

“Over the summer they appeared, confidently and brazenly, at a planning meeting just across the road at Stafford Borough Council. They were openly turning up in numbers, confidently recruiting and handing out leaflets and cards and holding the most disgraceful placards.”

Councillor Bob Spencer, who chaired the meeting, disagreed with Cllr Pardesi. He said: “I think the expression of how that translates into the far-right threat is not 100% clear. I don’t think it’s a fact that the far-right threat is the greatest threat of terrorism in this country – far from it.

“I think we ought to be careful about how we report some of the things and some of the words that we use. However, having said that, if we are simply mirroring or echoing the phrases and words already used by the coroner, that gives it the requisite validity around us using those as well.

“I think this is public knowledge and within the public domain – we’re not telling people something that they don’t know. I don’t see the value personally in changing the language of Home Office reports. I do worry about us constantly watering down facts.”

Chief Coroner Judge Lucraft’s Prevention of Future Deaths report names Khan, but does not include a reference to his heritage.

But the Staffordshire council report that was to be received by the committee, which was written by an officer of the authority, included the following text: “On 29 November 2019, five people were stabbed, two fatally, in Central London. The attacker, Usman Khan, a 28-year-old British national from Stoke-on-Trent, of Pakistani descent, had been released from prison in 2018 on licence after serving a sentence for terrorist offences and was wearing an electronic tag. He was living at an address in Stafford at the time of the attack.”

Cabinet member Councillor Victoria Wilson, who presented the report to Monday’s meeting, said: “I have to admit I did not want those words to be put in the report. If the person in question was from Spain or Ireland, I don’t feel it is relevant.

“For that reason I am happy to remove those words from the report. I don’t see how it relates to anything else, I think we can remove those words from the report if that’s what the committee wants.”

The report presented to Monday’s meeting was “prepared to provide assurance that relevant lessons have been learnt and that actions have been taken by the appropriate agencies to prevent future similar events occurring”, Councillor Wilson said.

The committee was asked to review the report and note the matters of concern raised by the Chief Coroner.

Councillor Wilson, cabinet member for communities and culture, said: “The prevention of future deaths report required 10 organisations to provide a response to the report and these included Staffordshire Police, West Midlands Police and the Probation Service. It didn’t require Staffordshire County Council to respond.

“Recommendations that impact on Staffordshire (are) risk assessment process, clarity over agency leadership, prison actions to manage radicalisation, procedural issues and communications. Key changes agencies have made indicate that lessons have been learned and appropriate action has been taken to mitigate against future similar events taking place.

“For local reassurance, The Staffordshire Police, Fire and Crime Commissioner held a meeting with senior partners and stakeholders to share learning and current offender management arrangements as well as relevant legislation changes. Whilst no local actions have been identified, the improvements that have been made at national and regional level will positively impact Staffordshire, as any CT (counter terrorism) offenders being released into the county will be subject to tighter controls.”

Councillor Spencer said: “It was quite a damning report. The management of this individual here in Staffordshire wasn’t the best and unfortunately two people lost their lives, partly as a result of that.

“We are not looking to find out what the failings were, those are clear. What we are looking for is some reassurance that whilst we can’t say this thing will never happen again, we do need to know that there is a robust process in place, that we’re doing everything to mitigate risk and keep the people of Staffordshire safe.

“The change through all of these organisations is absolutely significant; the probation service and prisons, how people are managed in, out and on their release, changes to counter terrorism practices is quite extensive. I think we can take some reassurance from the fact we have learned those lessons and are moving on positively from that.”

Austria: 12-year-old Syrian rapes Austrian woman

As reported by the newspaper “Heute”, an 18-year-old woman was allegedly sexually assaulted by an unknown youth in a public toilet facility. After the assault, two youths allegedly robbed the woman of her handbag including her mobile phone. The suspects fled. The young woman filed a complaint and her mother used her own mobile phone to locate her daughter’s mobile phone.

It turned out that the phone that had been stolen at Praterstern was probably at the police station Am Hauptbahnhof. The officers informed about this immediately searched all persons in the guard room. The mobile phone of the 18-year-old was found in the possession of a Syrian ( aged 12). At about 7.20 p.m., the 12-year-old stopped a passing police car in the area of Laxenburger Straße and told the officers that he had just been threatened by a young man with a knife.

The Syrian told the police that the suspect had demanded cash from him. The officers were able to stop the fugitive, a Syrian ( aged 15), immediately. During a search, the officers found the knife and seized it.

The 12-year-old had come to the police station Am Hauptbahnhof as a victim of the robbery with two witnesses when the 18-year-old’s mobile phone was located on him. He and one of the two witnesses, also a Syrian ( aged 12), could be clearly identified as suspects for the robbery at Praterstern, according to the police. The two children were handed over to their legal guardians. As far as the sexual abuse is concerned, the ongoing investigation is being conducted by the Provincial Criminal Police Office, Eastern Centre Branch.
