Cats and dogs also to blame for the climate crisis…says CNN

A CNN article that recently made the rounds of social media suggested that Americans should henceforth purchase smaller breeds of household pets and begin feeding them an insect-based diet to help curb their deleterious effect on the climate.  As you might expect, the article drew a heavy response after CNN posted a link to it on Twitter.

The article, titled “Our pets are part of the climate problem,” stated that “researchers” say dogs and cats “play a significant role in the climate crisis.”  It read in part: “Our four-legged friends don’t drive gas-guzzling SUVs or use energy-sucking appliances, but that doesn’t mean they don’t have a climate impact” and noted that it’s pets’ “meat-heavy diet” that is “the biggest contributor to their carbon pawprints.”

Climate terrorists, “progressive” activists, certain media figures — and other assorted whackos — have recently begun vociferously arguing that humans, too, should immediately normalize the routine consumption of bugs and “lab-grown” meat in a supposed effort to save our planet.

(It is obvious they believe that the planet would be healthiest if there were no humans or meat-eaters at all on it.  Noah shouldn’t have gathered up all those animals; he should’ve just let them perish.  At the very least, he could have been more selective, perhaps saving only the herbivores.  The planet would be far better off today had he done just that.)

Think how low the inflation rate would be — and how strong the economy — if we aborted all babies, human and pet alike!  And visualize how much money you would save if you didn’t have to buy diapers or dog food or set up a college fund!

If the global elites are successful in implementing the Great Reset, you can bet that they will mandate that a certain percentage of our — and our pets’ — diets be made up of insect-based “food,” while they still dine on chateaubriand and pork tenderloin.

But we can do more.  Let’s start encouraging everyone to force his pregnant pets to get abortions.  That will surely help.  It will be better for the economy and pet-owners’ personal finances as well!  And it will probably help reduce inflation.  It’s a win-win-win-win!  Let’s make Janet Yellen and Stacey Abrams proud!

The elites have gone from saying of the rest of us, “Let them eat cake” to saying, “Let them eat insects.”

That should more than bug us.

Macron says half the crimes in Paris are committed by foreigners

French President Emmanuel Macron admits that half the crimes committed in Paris are the work of foreigners during an interview yesterday on the France 2 television channel.

“Yes, when we look at delinquency in Paris, we can see that half of the delinquent acts come from foreigners in an irregular situation or awaiting asylum approval,” said Macron.

However, Macron also said that despite the issue with immigration and insecurity, he sees no “existential” link between the two.

“I will never make an existential link between immigration and insecurity,” said Macron just 10 days after the murder of 12-year-old Lola, who was raped, had her throat slashed, and was stuffed in a suitcase by an Algerian migrant who was in the country illegally.

Macron is under severe pressure after the murder, with a number of leading opposition politicians laying the blame for the murder at his feet and pointing to his abysmal record on deportations. Macron previously promised in 2020 that he was aiming for a 100 percent deportation rate. That rate currently hovers under 6 percent, and in the case of Algerians, it is 0.2 percent.

Despite growing anger, Macron is pushing a plan to send more migrants to the countryside, a move that is overwhelming rejected by the French public there. He also said in February of this year that migration from Africa and the Middle East “can make France greater.”

On top of inflation and growing unrest, the issue of immigration is turning political opinion against the French leader. As in the past, such as following the beheading of French history teacher Samuel Paty by a Chechen Islamist teen, Macron has put forward a number of “reforms” to assuage public anger, but many of the proposals were never enforced or have done little to disrupt France’s issues with insecurity, including a 91 percent increase in murders since 2000.

This time around, Macron claims he wants “in-depth reform” and a “debate in parliament on immigration.”

“We must reform our laws in depth to be able to better welcome those we want to welcome,” he said during the Europe 2 interview. He offered little in terms of how he plans to address problems with integration and the country’s inability to deport cirminal migrants.

However, Macron’s admission that illegal migrants or migrants awaiting asylum are responsible for half the crime in Paris is supported by data. The recently retired Paris chief of police, Didier Lallement, made assertions just this month, writing in his new book that “one out of every two crimes is committed by a foreigner, who are often in the country illegally… It is clear that some of the newcomers are integrating through delinquency.”

It is also unclear what the racial and ethnic breakdown of crime statistics is in France, as there are many French citizens of “foreign origin” who are not counted as foreigners since they have obtained citizenship. France does not keep data on the ethnic or racial identity of suspects. However, in other cities, such as Marseilles, 55 percent of all crimes are committed by foreigners, a rate even higher than Paris, illustrating that it is a countrywide issue.

If minorities abandon them, wokeists are over

There was that English cartoon in which a Labor candidate approaches two voters of the working class and asks them: “Why don’t you racist fascists vote Labor?”. Something similar is happening in America among the leaders of the Democrat Party. Minorities, a historic pool of votes for progressives, are moving to the right.

The New York Times is in a panic. The Republicans are fielding a list of 67 black, Latino, Asian and Native American candidates. NBC is panicking to report that Republicans are winning among Hispanics. Bloomberg is panicking: “Republicans have the record [votes] of black and Hispanic candidates despite Trump …”. Time Magazine is panicking because in California (where the “woke revolution” has sickened minorities) Asians are looking to the right. The Washington Post panics: “The Hispanic voting margin for the Dems shrinks.” Again the New York Times: “Hispanics are shifting to the right.”

Jonathan Chait, an essayist who was among the first to sound the alarm on the “illiberal left”, writes in New York Magazine that “impenetrable jargon, irrational crowds, disturbing forced apology sessions, absurd dismissals, slogans such as Black Lives Matter, Green Transition, trans women are women, 1619, Defund the Police ”went too far. Especially because, as we read in the Wall Street Journal, Hispanics today identify themselves more and more with three words: “Family, faith and freedom”.

And it is quite clear that the Democrats have attacked these values ​​in recent years.

The Atlantic explains that what was once the backbone of the Democratic base, white working class voters, have migrated to the Republican Party since the 1960s, largely due to the alienation from the liberal positions of the Democrats on cultural issues and racial considerations. Half a century later, those white working-class voters became the foundation of the Republican coalition, especially in the Donald Trump era.

Now a chorus of political analysts is arguing that the same change has begun among non-white working-class voters, especially Hispanics. “We are seeing a real-time political realignment,” Axios said in a recent analysis. “The Democrats are becoming the party of high-level voters most concerned with issues such as gun control and the right to abortion. Republicans are quietly building a multiracial coalition of working class voters, with inflation as an accelerator.”

Asians are some of America’s brightest students. The Wall Street Journal brings us an exemplary story about why Asians have had enough of liberal delirium. “Public schools in Lacey, Washington, made headlines when their ‘fairness report’ ranked Asian-Americans alongside whites rather than ‘students of color’. Apparently Asian Americans fared too well academically to be students of color. Modern progressive theory more or less divides the nation between the oppressors, defined as white, and the oppressed, defined as everyone else. In this context, achieving success puts you on the side of the oppressors and therefore makes you white or ‘adjacent white’, even if your family comes from China or India. Asian-American success is an embarrassment to progressives because it undermines the claim that structural racism condemns non-white citizens on the fringes of the American dream. “

In his book just released in France, Les Dépossédés, political scientist Christophe Guilluy, one of the best in the world, explains: “One of the strengths of Trumpism is that it has been able to attract 40 per cent of Hispanic votes and part of the black vote. . The Latinos who went to Trump, or more generally the immigrant populations who go to the populist vote, are people who have integrated or assimilated in the old way and have identified with the majority”.

When the landlord went home, the young man was still hanging around at the mountain station of the Alpspitzbahn. “When I recognised him later on the internet, I of course informed the police.

Police officers then drove up to the restaurant with four-wheel drive vehicles and searched the building. In a storage room for blankets, the officers discovered the suspect, who was arrested without resistance.

Gadde, who spent 11 years at the social media giant, had earned the distinction of being the ‘censor chief‘ of Twitter. She was responsible for terminating the Twitter account of US President Donald Trump and killing the ‘Hunter Biden story’, which impacted voting in the 2020 US elections.

However, during her tenure, Twitter failed to remove videos of child sexual abuse despite repeated requests by the minor victim and his parents.

The Background of the controversy

In 2021, a 17-year-old boy, alias ‘John Doe’, filed a lawsuit against Twitter for not removing two child pornography videos featuring him, despite multiple requests to the social media giant.

The victim informed us that the videos were shot when he was just 13 years old. He accused Twitter of allowing the dissemination of disturbing videos and profiteering from his traumatic experience.

The teen had alleged that sex traffickers, posing as a 16-year-old female classmate, had lured him for a chat on Snapchat. After exchanging nude photos with the traffickers, he was subjected to blackmail.

The accused had coerced him into sending more sexually graphic images and videos by threatening to send the nude images to his pastor, coach and parents. The victim was made to include another child in sexual acts.

Eventually, he mustered the courage to block the traffickers. Later in 2019, the videos of his abuse surfaced on Twitter. They were reported several times to the moderation team, which refused to take them down.

Meanwhile, the victim was subjected to bullying and harassment by his classmates over his child abuse videos. After several requests, Twitter responded to the victim and claimed that the two videos were not in violation of the company’s policies.

By then, the videos were watched over 1.67 lakh users and retweeted over 2.2K times. It was only after a formal complaint to the Department of Homeland Security that Twitter acted against the user that posted the videos.

In August 2022, The Verge reported how Twitter was planning to start a subscription model for adult content creators, along the lines of OnlyFans. At that time, a team of 84 Twitter employees pointed out how the social media giant lacked tools to identify potentially harmful sexual content.

“Twitter cannot accurately detect child sexual exploitation and non-consensual nudity at scale,” they concluded. Interestingly, the social media giant was quick to terminate the accounts of those individuals who questioned the efficacy of Covid-19 vaccines and the mainstream narrative about the pandemic.

In May last year, a Russian court fined Twitter for failing to delete illegal content, including posts related to child pornography, drug abuse information, and calls for minors to commit suicide, which was highlighted by the telecom regulator Ruskomnadzor.

‘No One Wants These Laws’: Ireland to Jail ‘Hate Speech’ Offenders for Up to Five Years

Those who use so-called “hate speech” will soon be jailed for up to five years under new legislation published on Thursday.

Any individual found guilty of using “hate speech” in Ireland will soon find themselves facing up to five years in jail. The country’s Justice Minister, Helen McEntee, has been at the centre of the country’s push towards implementing effective “hate speech” legislation, with her department announcing on Thursday that the first draft of the new laws would soon enter the country’s parliament.

Under the rules as proposed, those found guilty of “any intentional or reckless communication or behaviour that is likely to incite violence or hatred against a person or persons because they are associated with a protected characteristic” would face up to five years in jail.

What’s more, any individual convicted of such an offence would be branded a “hate criminal”, a label which the minister says is designed to “follow an offender in court, in garda vetting, and so on”.

“[H]ate speech is not about free speech,” McEntee declared in a statement published by her department.

“Hate speech is designed to shut people down, to shut them up, to make them afraid to say who they are and to exclude and isolate them,” she continued. “There is nothing free about that, and there is, frankly, no place for it in our society.”

The announcement that the current Irish government — which is now considerably unpopular in the wake of its chronic mishandling of the ongoing cost of living, housing, and migrant crises — now aims to implement hate speech legislation as soon as by the end of this year has angered many, who have accused the ruling coalition of trying to silence critics.

Speaking to Breitbart Europe, a representative from Free Speech Ireland said that the Irish public was largely against the implementation of such legislation, and that the move would almost certainly strain policed resources in the country.

“No one in Ireland asked for these laws except for elite NGOs,” the spokesman said, telling this publication that the new laws would almost certainly restrict freedom of speech in the country.

“As recently as 2018 the Irish public affirmed the right to free speech in the Blasphemy Referendum,” they continued. “This government is seeking to restrict the speech of voters while members of [parliament] would have special protections for their own freedom of speech.”

“There would be different laws for different people – ‘protected’ groups and unprotected ones, politicians and ordinary people,” they went on to say. “We know discontent is on the rise. At a time when [police] resources are at the brink, our political elite is looking to utilise such limited resources to silence people.”

The notion that police could be weaponised against those who question progressive politics is not without precedent, with equivalent “hate speech” laws in neighbouring Britain now having repeatedly seen individual members of the general public arrested and hauled in front of courtrooms for questioning issues such as transgenderism.

“I’ve been confronted three times by police on the orders of online trolls,” Graham Linehan, the famous Irish TV writer responsible for Father Ted and The IT Crowd, previously told Breitbart in regard to such anti-free speech legislation.

“The police in the UK have been acting on behalf of what is essentially a criminal gang of misogynists and conmen who use muddled laws to avoid scrutiny and criticism,” he went on to say, describing how “embarrassed” UK law enforcement have been whenever they have been forced to act against him due to the country’s “hate speech” laws.
