DC Mayor will not allow the unvaxxed to go to school, nor, and get this, nor will there be virtual learning without being vaxxed. So, if you have to be vaccinated to learn online, it was never about a virus.

Germany: Syrian who tried to kill an infidel compatriot while shouting “Allaku Akbar” also tried to kidnap a child

The accusation is reminiscent of scenes from a bad film: According to it, Moustafa A. (31) jumped out of a bush, grabbed a little boy (6 at the time) and tried to disappear with the child. The kidnapping was thwarted. Now the Syrian was before the district judge in Pirna. However, no verdict was reached.

“It was scary,” recalled Sophia P. (17), who spent the afternoon with her little brother and a buddy (18) in Niedervogelgesang on the Elbe in May 2020.

“There was someone sitting behind us in the bushes. I thought that was strange and wanted to go home. Then the man jumped out of the bush, grabbed my brother, kept shouting ‘My son. My son’ and wanted to leave with him.”

Sophia fought with all her power for her completely frightened brother, screaming for help. In doing so, she suffered blows. Her boyfriend resisted, but he was also beaten.

Tourists who witnessed the commotion alerted the police. Only then did Moustafa, who incidentally does not have or did not have any children, finally release the boy.

This was not his only sinister act.

A compatriot (32) reported: “My girlfriend was waiting for me in front of the house. As I walked towards her, he aggressively approached me and said he wanted to ‘kill me’ as an ‘infidel’, he kept shouting ‘Allahu akbar’.”

In both cases, police officers who rushed to the spot reported that Moustafa was “beside himself”, “staring”, optionally appearing “confused”.

The accused denied: “There was no altercation”, he explained about the incident with the siblings. The compatriot had “pulled out his hair”.

In the meantime, Moustafa lives in the district of Dahme-Spreewald, takes medication and has a guardian. The judge interrupted the trial and is now having a psychiatric report drawn up.

Italian Election Pollster: Left Likely Cannot Bridge Gap with Right-Populist Coalition

An Italian pollster says trends indicate that the left-wing parties will not be able to bridge the gap with the centre-right coalition, which is polling around 20 points ahead.

Lorenzo Pregliasco of the firm Youtrend has claimed that the large gap between the right-populist coalition, which includes firebrand social conservative Giorgia Meloni’s Brothers of Italy, populist Matteo Salvini’s League, and Silvio Berlusconi’s Forza Italia, and the left-wing parties is not likely to reverse before next month’s national election.

Pregliasco spoke of the uninominal seats, i.e. those in which a candidate is directly elected in a single-member district, rather than from a list of candidates, saying: “The gap between the two coalitions is felt very much then in the uninominal [seats] and therefore the centre-right could have an easy game,” Il Giornale reports.

According to the pollster, Giorgia Meloni, whose Brothers of Italy (FdI) leads in many national polls, holds “the cards in her hand and in these cases the only risk is to get the game wrong.”

So far during the snap election campaign, Ms Meloni has kept a relatively low profile, a strategy that seems to have borne fruit in recent polls, such as a note poll released on the 20th of August that puts her FdI party 4.5 per cent ahead of the left-wing Democratic Party (PD).

Overseas, however, Meloni made headlines recently after publishing a video on social media allegedly showing a Ukrainian woman being raped by an African migrant in broad daylight, with the Twitter post later being removed by the social media platform.

Meloni has also been associated with fascism by English-language media and described as “post-fascist” — a connection she rejected during an interview with The Spectatormagazine published earlier this month.

“When we founded Brothers of Italy, we founded it as the centre-right, with its head held high. When I am something, I declare it. I never hide. If I were fascist, I would say that I am fascist. Instead, I have never spoken of fascism because I am not fascist,” she told the magazine.

Meloni is, however, socially conservative, and has spoken out on issues like abortion, which she has previously labelled and described as a “defeat” — she but has not promised to change Italian abortion laws.

Both of her coalition allies, Matteo Salvini and Silvio Berlusconi, have opened the way for Meloni to be Italy’s next prime minister — which wouldd make her the first female prime minister in the country’s history.

Some forecasts predict the right-populist coalition could win as many as 60 per cent of the seats in parliament next month.

France: A literature teacher in a Paris suburb anonymously reports on the penetration of Salafism into the school, an Islamist ideology that has been affecting his teaching for about ten years now

In the Paris suburbs, most high schools are schools of social decline. The first problem is the ethnic mix: there is no mixing. In my première class, for example, all the pupils have an immigrant background. They feel forgotten and abandoned by the Republic and, in response, they turn to Salafism. They are looking for meaning and find it in this all-encompassing religion that has an answer to everything or almost everything. The Muslim Brotherhood is proselytising, some communities are proving compliant. And conversion to Islam is easy and quick. What is the outcome? For the last ten years or so, the school, which is a mirror image of society, has become permeable to these religious zealots. The abaya – a veil that covers the whole body except the face, hands and feet – has become commonplace there. More and more girls dress in it, sometimes even putting on Saudi-style hoods and gloves when they leave school. Fifteen years ago, this kind of clothing did not happen.

They are small signs that, taken together, reveal a worrying social climate. I witnessed an argument between two students where one accused the other of bringing tagada sweets to class. The sweets were not halal because they contained pork gelatine… Or the mother who refused to let her daughter take off her gloves in chemistry class. It was also the teenager who, after reading a text by the thinker Condorcet, bravely exclaimed: “Education is not for girls!” It is this student who, after watching a report on forced marriages in India, declares that “women are on earth to obey men” and the class did not contradict her. Or these two girls who turn up covered in a full veil for a school trip to the museum. When I ask them to take off the veil, as no conspicuous religious signs are allowed, I am accused of “racism against Islam”.

Yes, this is a new phenomenon that can be explained by both religious pressure and the rise of social networks. Some students are more likely to believe what they see on Facebook or TikTok than what is written in a textbook or newspaper article, regardless of how well-known and legitimate the medium is. In class, they contrast their truth with scientific knowledge. Some topics prove to be highly inflammable, especially in science. If you teach a course on sexual reproduction or astronomy, you clash with their beliefs. Once I handed out a text by Immanuel Kant to my class, “What is Enlightenment?”. In it, the philosopher reminded us that the earth revolves around the sun, not the other way around. The following week, a student came back waving the Qur’an and quoting a passage that said the earth, which is at the centre of everything, is fighting with the sun for supremacy. I retorted that religion should not throw reason overboard, but she went home offended and angry. Sometimes I am discouraged. Le Parisien

A teacher planned to erase Whites from her classroom décor

By Pandra Selivanov

It’s that time of year when the dog days of summer give way to the excitement of going back to school.  Children tow their parents through the store, on the hunt for trendy backpacks, lunchboxes, and outfits.  Parents shell out thousands of dollars to make sure their children have everything they need, and much that they don’t, for the coming year.  The biggest concern of most families is that their child receives quality instruction while having an enjoyable experience in the classroom.

However, in Utah, parents of children attending William Penn Elementary near Salt Lake City got a nasty shock when a 4th-grade teacher announced on social media that it was her first year teaching at a majority White school and she was interested to see whether “posh white parents” would be opposed to her classroom, which was designed to cater to non-white students.

The backlash was swift.  Concerned parents reported the incident to the school.  To her credit, the school principal took swift action, issuing a statement that it was her “personal commitment … to ensure every student feels safe and welcome,” and that it is “inappropriate for any employee to make students feel unwelcome in any way, shape or form.”  The teacher removed the offensive post and apologized.  The district is now investigating to determine if any of its policies have been violated.

More than 85% of the students at William Penn Elementary are White.  Whatever the district investigation shows, I would question its wisdom if it chooses to retain a teacher who is spoiling for a fight with White parents no matter how many White kids are in the student population.  I also question the competence of a teacher who is unwilling to design a classroom to fit the community in which she will be teaching.  I hope for an outcome that sees William Penn Elementary find a teacher who wants to nurture all the students without regard for their skin color.
