Arab civil war in Essen, Germany: It is all about a parking space

A background for the civil war-like clashes on June 25 in Essen has been clarified. Up to 400 members of extended Arab families attacked each other with knives, baseball bats, tables and chairs. Several people were injured, one of them fatally.

A small question from the AfD parliamentary group to the state government has now shed some light on the matter. According to this, a dispute over a parking space is said to have triggered the mass brawl. This was reported by the Ministry of the Interior led by Herbert Reul (CDU). The “Battle of Essen” had caused quite a stir, especially since there were repeated clashes between clan members in the city in the following days.

According to the Ministry of the Interior, the background of the quarrel has not yet been fully clarified. However, it is assumed that on the afternoon of June 25, five clan members had argued about a parking space. In the evening, members of the extended families met in a restaurant in the Altendorf district. In the end, 200 to 400 people had turned on each other. Many were armed with knives or baseball bats. Chairs and tables were also used as weapons.

A 30-year-old man was fatally stabbed in the neck. The Ministry of the Interior reported that a man four years younger than him was suspected of the crime. The latter is said to have been stabbed in the stomach by the later victim.

Green Agenda: German State TV Accused of Editing in Black Smoke Over Nuclear Power Plant

German state television has been accused of editing in black clouds of smoke over a nuclear power station in a report on the ongoing energy crisis.

State-owned broadcaster Zweites Deutsches Fernsehen (ZDF) has come under fire for an image used in a recent broadcast on the continued use of nuclear power in Germany, with many accusing the TV station of editing in black clouds in post over an image of a nuclear power station.

With an ongoing energy crisis partly brought about by the country’s climate crazy agenda causing havoc in the country, many are now calling for a planned decommissioning of the country’s remaining nuclear power stations — which are due to be turned off by the end of the year — to be halted in order to help alleviate the situation.

In a report on this question aired by ZDF however, according to an article published by Bild, the broadcaster appears to have edited in post an image of a nuclear power station to include black clouds, despite such stations naturally releasing only water vapour that takes the form of white clouds.

The image was both used within the broadcast, as well as a thumbnail for the broadcast on a number of online platforms such as Youtube.

The Bild report ponders whether the black clouds were added in order to make nuclear power — frequently seen as a boogeyman by climate warriors such as Greta Thunberg — appear more environmentally unfriendly. A remarkable admission given it tacitly states the broadcaster deliberately doctors images to provoke emotional responses in viewers.

ZDF have outright denied this, reportedly telling the publication — incredibly — that the dark cloud is instead there to reportedly represent the possibility of blackouts and overall instability within the energy grid.

The publicly owned broadcaster however has since replaced the thumbnail of its broadcast on Youtube with a different image of a power station, this time with correctly coloured white clouds.

While no doubt a strange occurrence on its own, perhaps the most bizarre element of this story is that this is reportedly not even the first time ZDF has been caught adding black smoke to an image of a nuclear power station.

The public broadcaster had in fact been previously caught out for a similar stunt in February of this year, with a spokesman for the organisation reportedly claiming that a darkening layer had been added to the image to make text added to it easier to read.

“Unfortunately, this level was incorrectly positioned,” the spokesman reportedly said, in reference to the fact that the black smoke seemingly added to the image was not even located behind the added text.

Fatal ECJ ruling: Italy can no longer control migrant ships

A judgment with a devastating message: Italian authorities will no longer be allowed to check rescue ships of various “refugee” aid organizations, which usually enter the ports with migrants. Only in case of danger will this be allowed. This emerges from a decision of the European Court of Justice.

The judges in Luxembourg ruled that the EU rules on port state controls also apply to ships belonging to humanitarian organizations. For an inspection, the authorities would have to prove in detail “that there are reliable indications of a risk to health, safety, working conditions on board or the environment”.

The number of people on board alone – there are often hundreds of migrants on board the ships who are taken on board by the organizations – will no longer in itself present a reason for an inspection.

“The verdict is a great success for us,” a spokesman for the German “aid” organization Sea-Watch told dpa. Italy must now present concrete evidence for a port control. The ECJ judgment on Monday concerned the ships “Sea Watch 3” and “Sea Watch 4” sailing under the German flag.

They act as water taxis in the central Mediterranean to take migrants on board, often in cooperation with local human traffickers. The Luxembourg judgment will give further impetus to the illegal mass influx from across the Mediterranean.

Germany: Somali stabbed police dog

After the large-scale operation in the railway station district in Frankfurt, in which a man was killed by police in a threatening situation early on Tuesday morning, the background of the crime is now being clarified. According to current information, the 23-year-old Somali man “ordered” two prostitutes to the hotel on Moselstraße early in the morning. According to the public prosecutor’s office in Frankfurt, he then forced the women to consume drugs during the meeting, which the women refused.

The man, who had previously been known for drug-related and violent offences, then threatened the women with a knife. He also allegedly had a firearm with him, but it was not fired. The women were finally able to flee from the hotel room. When officers of the special task force came to the hotel a short time later to overpower the attacker, he had injured the police dog so severely with a knife that the animal collapsed bleeding profusely, according to police sources. The dog had to undergo emergency surgery. It is currently unclear whether the dog will survive.

As the situation escalated further, one of the officers finally fired shots, which initially seriously injured the twenty-three-year-old. He was taken to hospital. However, he died there a short time later.

HAGIA SOPHIA: Hundreds of children shout “Allahu Akbar” – Watch video

Two editions and a documentary on the conversion of Hagia Sophia into a mosque

A few days ago, on the anniversary of the conversion of Hagia Sophia into a mosque, Turkish media reported on the two special editions as well as the documentary presented by the Directorate of Communications of the Turkish Presidency.

The President of Turkey, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, wrote the foreword to one of the two books, recalling that a presidential decree on July 10, 2020 ensured the reopening of Hagia Sophia as a mosque.

“Glory be to Allah, who gave us the opportunity to restore the symbol of the Fall [of Constantinople], the will and trust of the Conqueror, Hagia Sophia, to its original state 86 years later,” Erdoğan said in a message on Twitter.

“May the resurrection of Hagia Sophia be once again beneficial. In the framework of international law,” he added.

In the preface of the book, the Turkish president states that the fact that Hagia Sophia regained “its position as a place of worship does not mean that it has lost its status as a world cultural heritage”.

And this is because, as he argues, “the Hagia Sophia mosque, which is a symbol of the victory of a conquest that opened and closed an era and the important relics of our ancestors, will continue to live as a world cultural heritage, as it is a work that adds beauty to Istanbul.”

“Its re-opening as a mosque after 86 years is certainly a historic event. This project, prepared by the Communications Directorate, reveals the historical, architectural, religious and cultural importance of the Hagia Sophia mosque.

“It also places the reopening of Hagia Sophia as a mosque in the context of national and international law.”

Lockdown Returns! Health Minister Agrees New COVID Crazy Restrictions for Next Six Months

Germany’s lockdown-loving health minister has reportedly agreed with authorities a package of COVID extremist restrictions to be forced on the population over the next six months.

Forced masking and the use of COVID passes are back on the table for ordinary Germans after the country’s lockdown-loving health minister, Karl Lauterbach, agreed a host of new COVID-crazy measures with his fellow federal bigwigs.

Rumours had been circulating for a while that the EU state would bring back harsh measures over the winter month, with Lauterbach previously comparing possible restrictions to winter tires required in the country for half of the year.

It appears now that, according to a report by Die Welt, this rhetoric was far from hyperbole, with authorities now confirming a host of new measures that will last almost six months.

Starting from October 1st and lasting until April 7th next year, the new “Infection Protection Act” will involve the reintroduction of forced masking in many areas, draconian lockdown rules that have long since been abandoned in other EU countries.

The new measures will include the continuation of forced masking on air travel and long-distance public transport, as well as the reintroduction of forced masking and COVID testing in hospitals and other care facilities.

What’s more, individual states in the country will also be given the power to reimplement blanket mask mandates for all indoor publicly accessible locations, including bars, restaurants and public transport, as well as certain outdoor venues should they fill the need.

If a state decides to impose such a restriction, federal authorities are demanding that members of the public are allowed present proof of vaccination within the last three months, proof of recovery, or a “current” proof that the individual has tested negative for the disease to get around mask mandates in restaurants, bars, sporting as well as cultural venues.

Local publication Der Spiegel speculates that this demand is an attempt by Lauterbach to boost vaccination numbers in Germany, which has reportedly trailed off significantly according to data from the European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control.

Lauterbach had, at one point, wanted to make getting vaccinated against COVID-19 mandatory in Germany, but was forced to abandon the scheme after the country’s government shot it down.

States will also be given the power to reintroduce forced masking to schools, as well as implement social distancing requirements in public places.

While on paper the new federal government rules do not necessarily mean individual federal states will reimplement lockdown, devolution of lockdown powers to the local level has had negative outcomes in the past.

For example, when Germany finally decided to loosen its draconian lockdown in March, many of the country’s states decided to ignore the move, instead opting to keep measures involving forced masking and vaccine passport rules in place.

Some individual authorities in the country even decided to tighten measures further, with the city of Hamburg even at one point banning vaccinated people who had not received a booster from restaurants unless they could prove that they have tested negative for the disease.

Another meanwhile implemented a regime of coloured bands that could be worn voluntarily by vaccinated individuals in order to differentiate them from the unjabbed, allowing them to more easily access facilities those without a vaccine were not allowed enter.
