Austria: Only 4.4 % of Austrians receive social assistance, but 78.5 % of Syrians do
In Vienna, a massive imbalance between nationalities can be seen in social assistance. While only 4.4 percent of Austrian citizens receive social assistance, 78.5 percent of Syrians and 71.6 percent of Somalis do.
The report on migration and integration just published by Family Affairs Minister Susanne Raab (ÖVP) is full of sobering figures. eXXpress already reported on the high unemployment of Syrian and Afghan women as well as the alarming gaps in the education of children with a migration background. Currently, asylum applications from Afghans to Austria have tripled.
78.5 per cent of Syrians living in Vienna receive social assistance, 71.6 per cent of Somalis. Afghans (59.6 %), Iraqis (53.7 %) and nationals of the Russian Federation/Chechnya (37.8 %) are also among the most frequent recipients. Austrians born in Austria receive social assistance least often, at 4.4 %, and citizens of the former Yugoslavia are also rather rare recipients of social assistance, at 5.6 %.
All persons who have ever worked in Austria OR have lived in Austria for at least five years are entitled to social assistance. Persons entitled to asylum are entitled to full social assistance from the first day on which they are granted protection status as refugees. Irrespective of this, entitled persons may also receive family allowance, child benefit, care allowance and various settlement allowances.

Murder Hornets Get Name Change

The Entomological Society of America and the Entomological Society of Canada have adopted a new name for the murder hornet, also known as the Asian giant hornet, saying “the usage of ‘Asian’ in the name of a pest insect can unintentionally bolster anti-Asian sentiment” especially “amid a rise in hate crimes and discrimination against people of Asian descent.”
There is no significant discrimination against people of Asian descent in America. There are hate crimes, but they are not committed by people who have any idea that murder hornets are also called “Asian giant hornets.” They are committed by resentful urban blacks taking advantage of the collapse of law & order under liberal rule (see here, here, and here).
However, the point of Newspeak Dictionary updates is not to address reality, but to obfuscate it — often with virtue signaling intended to prop up the bogus liberal narrative.
Chris Looney, entomologist at the Washington State Department of Agriculture, authored the name change proposal, saying that the previous common name of the species, scientifically called Vespa mandarinia, “is at best a neutral and uninformative adjective, potentially a distraction from more salient characters of the organism, and at worst a racist trope.”

Anti-Semitic Imam expelled from France
The shock must have been great. Hassan Iquioussen, who has lived in northern France for decades but does not have French citizenship, applied this winter for an extension of a ten-year residence permit that was now expiring. In his eyes, a mere formality.
Hassan Iquioussen, considered a close confidant of the Musulmans de France (formerly Union des organisations islamiques en France), the French branch of the Muslim Brotherhood, has never been seriously troubled despite his unequivocal positions in favour of radical Islam, not to mention a serious anti-Semitic lapse many years ago. From his home in Lourches, near Valenciennes, he posted videos on his YouTube channel that were viewed by tens, if not hundreds, of thousands of followers.[…]
The file put together by the Northern Prefecture on Hassan Iquioussen convinced the Commission for the Expulsion of Foreigners, presided over by the President of the Lille Court. It gave a positive opinion on the expulsion on June 22. The decision was not a foregone conclusion. With five children, fifteen grandchildren and all his assets declared in France, Hassan Iquioussen could claim to be integrated in his very own way. At the meeting of the departmental commission on expulsion, the minutes of which Le Point has read, the prefect of the Nord department travelled in person to address the case before the judges, receiving the full support of the Minister of the Interior, Gérald Darmanin.
He emphasised the imam’s anti-Semitism. His remarks, made in 2004, 2005 and 2014, were “explicitly aimed at the Jews and not at the State of Israel or Zionism”. Hassan Iquioussen described them as “ungrateful” and “stingy” who lived “among themselves in ghettos”. The imam, the prefect said, had also publicly stated that “the Zionist lobby has been after his life since 2004” when he learned that his expulsion was planned.

Police dismissed the cases if complaints were filed against Asian families. An investigation found that more than a thousand children were sexually exploited in Telford amid the “shocking” shortcomings of the police and city council, the Times said. The suffering of children could have been avoided if the West Mercia police “had done their most basic work.” The investigation found that sexual exploitation of children “flourished” in the Shropshire town due to fears that investigations into Asian men would “inflame racial tensions”.
Tom Crowther QC, head of the investigation, said: “Countless children have been sexually assaulted and raped. They have been deliberately humiliated and degraded. They have been shared and trafficked. They were subjected to violence and their families threatened ”. Investigating them would have been “too politically incorrect”. Crowther said the exploitation continued “out of control” despite everyone being “aware of it in detail”.
A report by Quilliam International found that 84 percent of men convicted of being members of soliciting gangs are Pakistani Muslims.
The largely leftist #MeToo campaign and its adherents have turned their backs on these minors. The left prefers to attack straight, white, wealthy men in Hollywood. The left, happy to scream at “white male privilege” and fabricating “culture of rape” statistics in colleges, continues to turn a blind eye when this behavior comes from one of their protected groups.
When Labor Ann Cryer, elected to the House of Commons representing a constituency in the north of England, raised the issue of girl rape in her area, she was promptly accused of “Islamophobia” and “racism” and at one point she had to be placed under guard.
The story is always the same everywhere. Working-class cities, governed by Labor municipal councils, where the girls, according to the judges who presided over the trials, were chosen because they belonged to another ethnic group, meaning they were not Muslims and were considered easy “prey” (read Ayaan Hirsi Ali’s book, entitled just “Prey”).
An Associated Press investigation revealed that every year in Pakistan 1,000 girls belonging to religious minorities, mostly Christian, are kidnapped for sex slaves and forced to convert to Islam to pave the way for non-consensual marriages. Like Arzoo Raja, 13, forced to convert and marry a 44-year-old man.
And the fear of “offending” Islamic minorities has led to horror after horror in England too.
This is a continuation of what already happened in Rotherham in the north of the country, where gangs of Pakistani-born rapists were allowed to lure and abuse 1,400 children for many years. Rotherham is one of the epicenters of British multiculturalism, there is a perfectly legal sharia court and public school canteens have become “halal”, Islamically correct.
Rotherham is solidly Labor; the last Conservative deputy lost his seat a month after Adolf Hitler was elected chancellor. The Labor politicians who ruled Rotherham over the past decade entered politics during the anti-racist movement of the 1970s and 1980s. Their political instinct – and their personal interest – is not to confront or alienate their Pakistani voters, making one wonder about the meaning of democracy in our age.
The victims were eleven to sixteen-year-old white children with psychological or family problems. Labor politician Denis MacShane told the Times he did not want to investigate, although he was aware of the abuses, because “as a reader of the Guardian and a left-wing liberal” he was afraid of “sinking the multicultural boat.“
Politicians and social workers did not want to stop the violence, even though they knew of it. Officials “were afraid of denouncing the ethnic origin of those involved” with the fear of being defined as “racists”. At least Rotherham Mayor, Labor Roger Stone, has resigned over this scandal.
“Politically correct takes over Yorkshire,” headlined the Wall Street Journal. More accurately, political vote-courting. This sexual slavery has spread to other towns, Oldham, Rochdale, Derby and elsewhere, where British coal mines are built and touted as examples of a bright multicultural future – in Labor rhetoric.

Police Force Admits it Was Wrong to Warn Feminist for Being ‘Untoward About Paedophiles’
A British police force, already in special measures over its long-term failures to protect people, has admitted to have not acted in a “wholly proportionate” manner after officers visited a feminist campaigner at home for being “untoward about paedophiles”.
On Sunday, British YouTuber and feminist campaigner Kellie-Jay Keen, also known as Posie Parker, said that two police officers from the Wiltshire force came to her home to relay that there had been a complaint levied against her for one of her videos, saying: “Somebody’s phoned up because one of your videos you’re being untoward about paedophiles.”
According to Keen, the officer admitted that he had not even watched the video in question, yet, because someone had been offended, they recorded it as a “hate crime”. Keen said that the officer was unable to tell her if it was in fact recorded as a crime or the controversial “non-crime hate incident” category.
The video in question was reportedly Mermaids, Drag and Grooming, in which Keen criticised a LGBT pride event for having a 12-year-old boy dancing on stage in drag, which she claimed was a form of exploitation.
Following harsh criticism on social media, the Wiltshire Police issued a statement, tacitly admitting that the actions taken by officers were wrong, and that they no longer fell in line with the recently updated advice from the College of Policing, which told officers last week that being offensive is not in itself a crime and that police should not involve themselves in “debates on Twitter”.
A spokesman from the Wiltshire Police said on Thursday: “Following a report from a member of the public, officers visited a woman in Trowbridge to offer words of advice regarding comments made online which the complainant felt were inappropriate and offensive. No further additional police action will take place and the matter has been closed.
“Having reviewed our response to this incident in relation to the new guidance from the College of Policing concerning hate crime incidents, we acknowledge that the response from the Force was not wholly proportionate.
“However, it is important to state that our officers acted with the best intentions, working to the previous guidance, which only changed last week.
“We are currently working on ensuring the latest national guidance is fully shared within our organisation to provide clarity to officers on how reports of this nature should be dealt with on a case by case basis to ensure a consistent and proportionate response.”
Ms Keen, who runs the Standing For Women organisation, which seeks to protect women’s rights from the encroachment of transgender ideology, mocked the police statement on Wednesday, saying sarcastically that the officers “were just following orders”.
“I just want to be a fly on the wall when they had that meeting and realised what on earth they were doing,” she said.
Last month, the Wiltshire Police was put under special measures by the HM Inspectorate of Constabulary (HMIC) police watchdog over “serious concerns” about how the force uses its resources and how it responds to the public and protects vulnerable people.
HMIC Inspector Wendy Williams said that the “force is missing opportunities to protect vulnerable and repeat victims of crime. It needs to improve the way it manages victims’ calls, so that all vulnerable people are identified. Some domestic abuse victims have received an unacceptable level of service and have continued to remain at risk.”
The update to the guidelines from the College of Policing on non-crime hate incidents — of which 120,000 were recorded over the past five years by police — comes as as rapes, sexual assaults and violent crimes have hit record highs. At the same time, the number of cases actually solved by police have fallen dramatically, with just 1.3 per cent of rape cases resulting in a criminal charge.
Religion above the law?
In view of the fact that the number of foreigners in Belgian prisons remains disproportionately high, mainstream parties have tried to minimize the political impact of the facts.
Non-European newcomers place their faith above the law in Flanders, according to the results of the Living Together Barometer (Samenleven). This proportion is even higher in Brussels.
In Flanders, 9 percent of second-generation citizens of non-European origin believe that the law can be broken in the event of a conflict between law and religion, De Standaard and Het Nieuwsblad reported on Tuesday. This observation is based on the results of the study published by the Flemish government at the request of the Flemish Minister for Cohabitation, Bart Somers (Open VLD).
The political aim of the barometer with regard to diversity in Flanders and Brussels, was to present a picture of unproblematic ethnic realities.
A person is considered a “newcomer” or a “person of foreign origin” if he or one of his parents was born abroad. People born in Belgium from foreign parents are considered second generation, while those born abroad are considered first generation.
In the questionnaire, the section on citizenship particularly concerned the separation of church and state. In the survey carried out during the first quarter of this year, a representative group of residents of Belgian and foreign origin spoke about the possibility of breaking Belgian laws which are not compatible with the requirements of their religion.
Notably, Flemish and Brussels residents of foreign origin born in Belgium (second generation) are more likely to have this opinion than their parents. The results of the Barometer show that in Flanders the number of second generation foreigners (9 percent) is higher when it comes to a belief that breaking the law is in conflict with religion than the first generation (8,5 percent).
In Brussels, the difference is even more flagrant with 13,2 percent of members of the second generation who place religion above the law against 7,6 percent for the first generation.
This position is not reserved for citizens of non-European origin since the Flemish and Brussels residents of Belgian origin also believe that Belgian law should make room for religious rules. In Flanders, this is the case for 1,2 percent of those surveyed and 5,4 percent in Brussels.
The ban on ritual animal slaughter that applies in Flanders and Wallonia is, for example, a law that clashes with religion. In the Brussels Parliament, an ordinance on this subject was rejected last June.
The survey did not focus on any particular religion, nor did it say whether people had major or minor offenses in mind.
“Thanks to the barometer, politics can get to work, without taboos,” the spokesperson of Bart Somers told Standaard. “Respect for the rule of law is an essential cornerstone of society. We will not move an inch on this point. This is why we pay a lot of attention to it, both in the integration policy and in the plan for living together.”
The spokesperson added: “I also want to emphasize that the vast majority of citizens, regardless of their origin, respect the rule of law.”
Vlaams Belang reject survey
For the Vlaams Belang, there is no place in society for newcomers who put their faith above laws. “The recently published results of the Samenleven barometer show that 9 percent of second-generation newcomers believe their religion takes precedence over the law,” said Flemish MP Sam Van Rooy . “Anyone who wants to stay here must be loyal to Flanders and embrace and comply with our laws. This 9 percent already show that they are better off leaving.”
“People may be surprised about this in the media, but it is certainly not surprising,” said Van Rooy. “It is hardly surprising that this percentage is even higher in Brussels, which is known for its impunity. There, 13,2 percent of the second generation think that our laws should be broken. This proves that Islamization is doing its job.”
“The barometer only shows dark clouds gathering, the reality is much worse,” continued Van Rooy. “Research by the Berlin Center for Social Sciences (WZB) already showed in 2013 that no less than half of Belgian Muslims – because that is of course what we’re talking about when it comes to religious newcomers – are fundamentalists. Some 82 percent believe that Muslims should adhere to a strict interpretation of the Quran, 70 percent believe that the Quran should take precedence over our legislation, 63 percent say ‘yes’ to the question whether the West wants to destroy Islam and 61 percent do not want to have gay friends.”
“The norms, values and traditions of Islam are completely at odds with ours,” Van Rooy concluded. “The separation between Church and state, freedom of religion, freedom of expression and equality between men and women must not be tampered with.” He said anyone who wanted to live in Belgium and participate in public life must unconditionally conform to Flemish and European culture.
Prisons are filled with foreigners
“Almost one in two prisoners in Belgium is a foreigner and about one in three is staying illegally in this country,” according to Member of Parliament Dries Van Langenhove (Vlaams Belang). He had requested the figures from Open VLD Minister of Justice Vincent Van Quickenborne on prison populations.
“Convicted criminals should not serve their sentences in our cells, but as much as possible in their country of origin,” said Van Langenhove
Of the 10 614 people who were in prison at the beginning of this year, a total of 4 667 did not have Belgian nationality, bringing the number of foreign nationals in the total prison population to no less than 44 percent. “For a good understanding: this figure does not even include those who have dual nationality,” Van Langenhove added. “The ‘top three’ of foreign nationalities in Belgian prisons are Moroccans (861), Algerians (509) and Dutch (363).” He did not specify whether the Dutch citizens in prison were foreign-born.
Equally remarkable is the fact that a significant proportion of the prisoners reside in the country illegally. “On 1 January of this year, there were a total of 3 204 people, accounting for 69 percent of all detained foreign nationals and almost one third of the total prison population,” said Van Langenhove.
“Illegal immigrants must be sent back to their countries of origin, much more frequently than is currently the case. And that is especially true when it comes to criminal aliens. The many promises must finally be followed by concrete actions,” continued Van Langenhove. “It is therefore high time that the pressure on the countries involved was increased. Those who do not want to hear must feel.”
For the Vlaams Belang, convicted criminal aliens must serve their sentences in their countries of origin: “That would not only result in substantial savings, but also offer a solution to the persistent problem of overcrowding in our prisons”, concluded Van Langenhove . “And the prospect of serving a prison sentence in the home country would have a dissuasive effect on potential foreign criminals that should not be underestimated.”

What Islam and the Left Agree On

In the book of Genesis — whether you take it literally or metaphorically — a nation is essentially an extended family. Genesis Chapter Ten, often referred to as the Table of Nations, lists the peoples of the Earth, from Israel’s perspective, along with their lineages. The number, apart from Israel, came to 70.
Each particular nation was traceable back to an ancestor. Mankind was told to fill up the whole Earth, but disobeyed, and started to build the Tower of Babel, where, in Chapter Eleven, the languages of men were confounded, and the peoples were forced to scatter and separate.
Again, whether taken literally or metaphorically, the principle is that the deity did not want a uniform world, a one-size-fits-all culture and language, precisely because — given the nature of men — they will conspire to do evil.
And the Lord said, Behold, the people is one, and they have all one language; and this they begin to do: and now nothing will be restrained from them, which they have imagined to do. —Gen. 11:6
There was a purpose for this scattering. It was to keep men out of trouble.
There is real divine wisdom to this. Things may run slower when nations exist, but they run smoother. With mankind broken up into little portions or nations, each competing against one another, there are checks and balances in the world, with the chance of a major dictator taking over being reduced.
Leaders do not see it that way. One nation creates a successful society, a better way of doing things, in contrast to its neighbors, and decides to conquer. The reasons are multifarious.
The conquest can be simply for loot — the Spanish sought gold. It can be for glory — think France. It can be for revenge — Alexander the Great wanted to avenge the Greeks on the Persians. Or it can be just sheer monstrous brutality — think the Assyrians or the Nazis.
Of course, the most pernicious motive is that, being the carrier of a superior way of life, the empire will be improving the lives of the people conquered, and thus doing them a favor. The Romans thought they were bringing good order to the world. The British thought they were bringing decency and law. A lot of American foreign policy has been shipwrecked trying to impose democracy on people who don’t want it.
It is this last motive which often breaks and bankrupts empires.
Though the Romans did bring good order to the north, with the promise of increased trade, prosperity, and roads, Herman (Arminius) informed the Romans that the Germans did not want their help, at the Battle of the Teutoberg Forest.
The English never quite understood why the Highland Scots kept revolting, and they ended up having to ethnically cleanse them during the Highland Clearances.
Thomas Jefferson expected Canadians to flock to the American cause during the War of 1812. After all, didn’t America bring the promise of good Republican government and liberation from British monarchial tyranny?
What went wrong?
Putin can’t seem to understand why Ukrainians might not want Russian leadership.
Napoleon had massive success conquering Europe. A lot of nations joined him. His Grand Armée brought the ideas of the French Revolution, and a lot of those ideas were indeed better. He liberated Jews from their ghettoes and broke the power of oppressive European nobility. So why did Britain and Russia refuse to concede to his superior civilization?
The problem is that people are different. They were meant to be different. And sometimes, even if your society and way of doing things are genuinely better, conquered people don’t want to have improvements imposed on them, or have it rammed down their throat. They’d rather do things their own way.
Like individuals, nations and peoples have different personalities. They may be equal, but they are not identical, which is the problem with affirmative action.
Because of this natural tendency to resist homogenization, it will be impossible to quickly impose “improvements” on the world without dissolving the nation state. Nation-states — when operating rightly — are an outer fortress that can protect the people from the outside world.
And to destroy the nation, Progressives have to destroy families. The family is meant to be an inner refuge. Yes, both nations and families can go toxic, but when they work right, they are a bulwark of freedom. Indeed, families are at the core of nations. Families beget tribes or clans, which beget nations. It took England (the most modern nation at that time) centuries to break the clan system of Scotland. Though the clans were highly dysfunctional, they still held out.
In the West, Progressives have pretty much advanced on the destruction of the family to the point where Europe is failing to reproduce its native stock. European nations will soon be dissolved.
And then there is the issue of the economy. It costs money to subsidize such idiocy, and empires always go broke.
America is all but broke. China — the victim of its own brand of leftist tyranny — is broke.
Back in Europe, the Progressives had to import completely incompatible Muslims into the continent to replace — and that is the proper word — the declining German population. Berlin is now the capital of Eurabia. A sane person would have taken in the fleeing white Boers instead of letting them go to Russia.
The Boers are of Germanic (Dutch) and French stock. Easily assimilable into Berlin. Germany could have told millions of the Boers to come home. Leave South Africa. Isn’t that what the blacks wanted? Instead, Angela Merkel took in millions of Arabs, because, after all, whites are evil.
France is 9% Muslim. Ireland is now 20% foreign. Of course, a lot of that is Polish, German, and British, all of whom would be highly assimilable, but Islamic numbers are increasing.
This is what the Progressives want: a disconnected society of broken families can be ruled by elites. Destroy the family. Destroy the nation-state.
Multiculturalism is a façade. It is a lie meant to usher in a one-world order. When nobody is related, everybody is dependent on the state and can be controlled.
But the playbook is also Islamic.
Unlike early American colonists — who brought in their own wives, thus keeping their root culture — when Islam conquers a nation, it sends in single men, who intermarry with the natives. Within one generation, they produce a class of hybrid elites. Religious, family, clan, and national ties are destroyed. Once that is effected, Islam can take over.
Indeed, Islam does not have a concept of a nation, but rather an Ummah, an Islamic homeland. ISIS ripped down national flags. They wanted a one-size-fits-all caliphate.
[T]he latest edition of ISIS’ propaganda magazine, Dabiq, places a major focus on rejecting nationalism, presenting religion as the key unifying force for their “caliphate.”
This is why Israel has a hard time with the Palestinians. While Palestinians may have a national identity, their chief identity is Muslim, and Muslims want an Ummah, a unified caliphate.
It seems that both Islam and Progressives use the same tactics to produce the same end. Destroy the family to destroy national unity, and usher in a one-world order. And they are both doing a very good job of it.

The Progressives and Muslims agree on everything but the nature of that final order. They may be in for a surprise if a dictator steps in to take over the mess they both have created.
What is clear is that both Progressives and Muslims work from the same playbook. They want population replacement, and familial destruction, to destroy families and nations. They are the left and right hand of that same pair of gloves.
Nation-states are real. They are an extension of the family. Both Islam and the Progressives seek their destruction for the same reason. They want a one-size-fits-all new world order. Whether it be a liberal paradise or an Ummah, it is the paradise they seek.
A dictator will be the result. When you seek to create heaven on earth, apart from Christ, you end up creating hell on earth. We are watching the early stages of this implementation.

Owning a pet could soon be banned by law in Iran
Will dogs, cats and rabbits be banned in Iran? However, according to the BBC, a bill is under consideration that would ban residents from owning a pet, which the Middle Eastern country sees as a symbol of “Westernization”.
More specifically, the Law on the Protection of Human Rights from Animals, currently under consideration by the Iranian Parliament, provides for “the importation, purchase, sale, transportation and possession” of many pets, including cats, rabbits or other to ban turtles. Violators face a fine of 790 euros if the law is passed.
Restrictions have already begun: Iranian police recently announced that walking dogs is now a criminal offense in the country. The practice is now banned in the name of “public safety”.
While according to Dr. Ashkan Shemirani, a veterinarian in Tehran, doesn’t have “firm rules about dog ownership,” law enforcement officials have arrested people for “walking their dog or even transporting it by car.” A “prison” for pets has been created, according to the veterinarian.
Owning a pet has been in the sights of Iranian officials for several years. “The debates about this law began more than a decade ago when a group of Iranian lawmakers tried to promote a law that would confiscate all dogs to be entrusted to zoos or abandoned in the desert,” explains Dr. Payam Mohebi to BBC. President of the Iranian Veterinary Association.
Since then, the topic has been raised regularly in Iran, with MPs mentioning in particular the possibility of “corporal punishment” for dog owners.
While it is common for Iranian rural families to own a dog and the country pioneered the Middle East by introducing an animal welfare law in 1948, everything changed during the 1979 Islamic Revolution.
The new regime gives a different look to domestic animals, which according to Islamic tradition are now considered unclean and condemned as a symbol of “Westernization”.
