“Either money or sex”: Iraqi with multiple convictions attacks woman from Vienna, Austria
For allegedly assaulting a 26-year-old Viennese woman on April 1, 2022, a young Iraqi man was sentenced to six years imprisonment for sexual assault and robbery at the Regional Court on Friday. The 24-year-old already had a number of previous convictions at the time of the offence. Between March 2018 and June 2021, he had been convicted a total of three times for coercion, assault, theft and narcotic offences. He was not deported.
The 26-year-old was on an evening walk when she was approached by the accused near a student dormitory on a towpath along the Danube Canal. She made him understand that she was not interested in a conversation. He then grabbed her, pulled her towards him, according to the indictment, pushed her against a wall and said in German: “Either money or sex”, pulling a condom out of his pocket. She fought him off, whereupon he pushed her to the ground, lay on top of her and tried to abuse her.
In this situation, the woman managed to distract the 24-year-old by trying to give him money. He let go of her for a moment, which she used to shout for help and attract the attention of passers-by. Then the Iraqi forcibly snatched the mobile phone from her hand and ran away. However, he had left DNA traces on the woman’s body, and due to his already troubled past he could be quickly traced using the DNA database and arrested.
“He is very sorry. He was in great need of money. It is clear to him that this was not in order,” the man’s legal assistant stated before a panel of lay judges (chaired by Stefan Huber). The man then surprised the court by saying afterwards: “I tried to kidnap her. But I did not rape her.” The woman’s resistance had surprised him. He then tried to kiss her at least on the neck: “But she resisted.” In the course of this, she fell to the ground. In retrospect, he does not know what was going on inside him at the time: “I was unconscious.”
The 24-year-old did not agree with the verdict. He filed an appeal against it. The decision is therefore not legally binding.

Major setback for Transatlanticism: Italian Five Star Movement splits over Ukraine policy
In Italy, the dispute over the Draghi government’s Ukraine policy has led to a political earthquake: Foreign Minister Di Maio has resigned from his party, the Five Star Movement, after considerable squabbling over Ukraine.
Although the Five Star Movement is part of the government’s alliance of supporters, it is apparently on the verge of splitting. Di Maio now wants to create a new parliamentary group that wholeheartedly supports Mario Draghi’s course on Ukraine again.
Di Maio’s party resignation follows disputes between him and former Italian Prime Minister and current Five Star leader Giuseppe Conte over, among other things, arms deliveries to Ukraine. On this issue, a deep rift has been running through the party for some time, but also through the Italian public at large. Di Maio accuses a number of star politicians of risking to weaken the country with their stance.
During a press conference, Di Maio stated: “We had to choose which side of history to stand. The leaders of the Five Star Movement risked weakening Italy, putting the government in difficulty for reasons related to their own consensus crisis. I thank the movement for what it has done for me, but from today a new path begins.”
The fact is that the Ukraine policy of the non-party head of government Draghi is particularly hotly disputed in the Five Star Movement. Party leader Conte recently called for no more weapons to be delivered to Ukraine and for diplomacy instead.
Di Maio headed the Five Star Movement himself for almost three years from 2017 until he announced his resignation in January 2020. According to media reports, he now wants to take supporters of his camp from the Five Star Movement into the new party Insieme per il futuro [Together for the Future].
In order to launch this parliamentary group in the Senate and the Chamber of Deputies, he must achieve a minimum number of parliamentarians. According to media reports, 60 Star parliamentarians have already pledged to join him.
The Five Star Movement had been the largest party in Italy’s bicameral parliament since the 2018 general elections. In the meantime, it lost much of its importance. In local elections in the middle of the month in almost 1 000 cities and municipalities, it only achieved just over two percent.
Not only Italy, but France too
The Italian party system is once again in a state of flux – the case shows that the Russia and Ukraine policies of Western European governments are by no means set in stone. Also, as a result of the election results in France, the transatlantic camp in the EU is likely to be hit by further shocks soon.
In public discussions, the hype around Ukraine has noticeably died down in recent weeks. Reports of disintegration and mass casualties among the Ukrainian armed forces have now dampened confidence that the Russian advance can be stopped with ever more excessive arms deliveries.
This week, US Lieutenant Colonel Daniel Davis told Fox News: “There is no rational basis upon which to hope that the war can turn around because Russia is methodically moving through and destroying the Ukrainian armed forces in the Donbas, more than capturing territory, they’re destroying their ability to defend the country anywhere else. And even the sum total of all of the weapons that we have pledged, much less has shown up — it’s barely a 10th of what would be the minimum necessary.
“And when you look at those two things right there alone, there is no rational path to a victory for Ukraine.” Davis appeared on one of the most popular programs on American television with Jesse Watters Primetime.
In the West, the realization is coming that all attempts to help Ukraine are simply irrational and cannot lead to a turning point at the front.
Western war fatigue
Munich-based military expert and political scientist Carlo-Antonio Masala considered a much more sobering scenario as conceivable. He did not rule out that the Ukraine support of Western countries could dwindle in the face of a prolonged war with many negative side effects.
Masala therefore predicted: “The more this fighting drags on into autumn and winter, the more the people of the European states will ask themselves to what extent this support for the Ukrainians is still useful at all.”
Especially in the event of a shift in the balance of power after the US midterm elections from the Democrats to the Republicans, the US would also ask itself to what extent continued support for Kiev would still be justifiable.
“The more people feel this war personally in their gas bills, food and petrol prices, the more public support will possibly erode for Ukraine,” the military expert continued. This could lead to “some states breaking out of the [EU] front and saying, ‘now you finally have to start some negotiations; we have to accept that that territory is gone’.”
Reports of Ukrainians welcoming Russian troops have furthermore eroded trust in Western mainstream reporting. The situation in Ukraine will be resolved through negotiations, NATO chief Jens Stoltenberg admitted on Friday in an interview with Spanish daily El Pais.
Germany: Tormented by Syrians because he is Jewish

The two Berliners with Syrian roots allegedly attacked T. in September at a Jewish vigil in Mönckebergstraße, whereby only the older one is said to have struck: His cheekbone, nose bone and glasses were smashed. A piece of glass injured T.’s right eye so severely that he has been blind ever since.
“There was a request by the defence lawyer, an attempt to apologise, whether this could not be sorted out. But I don’t believe him. That was just tactics,” T. tells the newspaper BILD. He is convinced that the attack was out of pure hatred for Jews: “They didn’t leave afterwards, they even laughed, that was quite normal for them. Appalling!”
The public prosecutor’s office also seems to assume anti-Semitic motives, because the file number they gave this case starts with 71: 7101Js1209/21. Department 71 is the state protection department, responsible for politically motivated crimes.
Because the defendants are minors, the trial is being held in camera.
According to BILD information, Aram A. Freitag has pleaded self-defence. The verdict is due in August.
Germany: Moroccan arrested for 20 fake identities and 7 arrest warrants
A 27-year-old man in Germany has accumulated 20 personal details and seven arrest warrants. The police caught the man on Wednesday during a check in a train at Rosenheim station, as the officials reported on Thursday. The 27-year-old, who is actually from Morocco, could not identify himself. His fingerprints revealed that the man was wanted for theft and aggravated robbery, among other things.
The police took him to the prison. If he does not pay his accumulated fines of 5,400 euros, he will have to face 434 days of imprisonment in lieu. He is also being investigated for benefit fraud, illegal entry attempt and giving a false name.
Melilla: 400 Africans tear down border fence
On Friday, 400 young Africans managed to tear down the border fence from Morocco to the Spanish enclave of Melilla and to penetrate EU territory. The incident is not the first of its kind. And since the invaders are not expected to be returned to Morocco quickly, it will certainly not be the last.
Pictures speak more than a thousand words. And the images of the charging, laughing young men shown in the video are making the rounds in Africa. Most invaders have a smartphone with them. They film and cheer on their compatriots with their recordings. Anyone who tells a success story, incites imitators.
At least 18 migrants died as the up to 2000 men rushed to the border fence. This was reported by the Spanish newspapers El País and La Vanguardia. According to the Moroccan Ministry of the Interior, people died in the stampede or by falling from the fence.
In addition, another 63 migrants and around 140 Moroccan police officers were injured. The Moroccan Interior Ministry accused the migrants of using violence.
Many of the people arrested by Moroccan authorities are said to be of Sudanese nationality. They had come from the surrounding forests, where they had been gathering for the past few days, to then try to reach the Spanish city in North Africa together. At least 133 migrants managed to get over the two parallel six meter high fences, according to German tabloid Bild.de, but other sources including Focus.online cited 400 men.
The Spanish border guard was clearly overwhelmed. Such a mass of people cannot be stopped without drastic measures – and who wants to be responsible for that?
Europe continues to tempt these illegal immigrants with social security payments. If they are not rewarded – especially in Germany – why would young Africans set off for a remote, foreign world? They often have hardly any prospects when competing in their own labor market, and none at all in Europe. In Germany, their economic livelihood is secured for at least a few years without gainful employment.
But Europe lacks the will to assert itself even when confronted by fresh images like these from Melilla.

‘Iranian-Norwegian’ terrorist kills two in Islamist attack on gay bar: Moment suspect is arrested after storming club in Oslo and opening fire leaving two dead and 21 injured
Two people were killed and 21 injured after a suspected terrorist gunned down clubbers at an LGBT+ hotspot in Oslo last night.
An Iranian Norwegian suspect, 42, has been charged with murder, attempted murder and terrorism.
He was known to police, having previously faced charges of drugs possession and carrying a knife.
The unidentified man was detained by cops on the scene with the help of revellers at London Pub, one of two clubs targeted in the attack.
The other site hit during the attack around 1.15am today was next door’s Herr Nilsen Jazz Club, where revellers described being hit with flying shards of glass.
One woman was forced to play dead to escape the gunman’s fire. She told VG Norway: ‘There was a woman who pulled me down and told me I had to play dead.’
The man then shot the table directly behind her. She escaped London Pub unharmed.
Police lawyer Christian Hatlo said: ‘Our overall assessment is that there are grounds to believe that he wanted to cause grave fear in the population.
‘We need to go through his medical history, if he has any. It’s not something that we’re aware of now.’
Oslo was due to hold its annual gay pride parade later on Saturday, but organisers cancelled the event amid fears of potential follow up attacks.
Organisers Oslo Pride wrote on Facebook this morning: ‘Oslo Pride has received clear advice and a recommendation that the parade, Pride Park, and any other event in relation to Oslo Pride be cancelled.
‘We will follow the police’s recommendation and take care of each other’, lead organiser Inger Kristin Haugsevje added.
Oslo Police District confirmed last night: ‘Two people have been confirmed dead in the shooting episode. There are several seriously injured.’
National newspaper in Norway, VG, reported that ‘witnesses said people ran from the scene in panic’.
Oslo’s university hospital said it had gone on red alert following the shooting.
When a conservative is asked ‘What is a woman?’

A common way to put Made-up Sexual Status (MUSS, aka “transgender”) activists on the spot is to ask them “What is a woman?” They’ll hem and haw because their current emotion-based creed dictates that the only possible definition is “anyone who identifies as a woman.” Some sexual devolutionaries, however, may come back with what a YouTube commenter under a very clever, topic-related Babylon Bee video claimed. “Let’s be real, conservatives do not have a tenable definition of woman,” he stated. “[C]onservatives don’t talk about their definition of woman — they know it’s not good enough.” Okay, then, challenge accepted. I’ll talk about it:
A woman is an adult member of the species homo sapiens; this means in principle that she has an XX chromosome configuration and is, consequently, genotypically and phenotypically female.
Yes, that’s a mouthful, because it’s precise. But the sexual devolutionaries would no doubt interject here, saying, “No, no! Some ‘women’ are not genotypically XX or wholly phenotypically [appearance-wise] female.”
Yet they’d have overlooked two key words in my definition: “in principle.” One learns in good philosophy, rarely taught today, that there’s a difference between something being true in principle and it being true in the particular.
For example, an apple in principle is something that doesn’t contain a worm; this definition isn’t negated by the fact that the occasional apple has a worm because the worm isn’t integral to the apple. The worm-infested apple is “the exception that proves the rule,” meaning that there cannot be exceptions unless there’s some norm they can be exceptions to.
There obviously are deviations from the female norm; it’s also obvious that these are exceptions that prove the rule of femaleness. They have no bearing on what a woman is in principle.
Not understanding this (not that they’d want to), sexual devolutionaries will didactically “explain” how there are more than just the two “XX” (female) and “XY” (male) genotypes, with others supposedly being the “intersex” varieties XXX, X0, XXY and XYY. While these configurations’ existence, again, has no bearing on what the two sexes are in principle, here’s what the sexual devolutionaries don’t say:
These are all abnormalities that afflict one sex or the other. Here’s the science, courtesy of WebMD (emphasis added by me):
- “Triple X syndrome (also called trisomy X syndrome, XXX syndrome, or 47,XXX) is a rare genetic condition where females inherit an extra X chromosome.”
- “Turner syndrome [X0] is a rare genetic disorder that’s found only in girls.”
- “Klinefelter syndrome [XXY] is a genetic condition in which a boy is born with an extra X chromosome.”
- “Although genetics are hereditary, a phenomenon in genetic alterations occurs when male babies receive an extra Y chromosome in each of their cells, resulting in an XYY combination.”
And that’s it. By the way, you can search the WebMD pages I linked to, and you won’t find the term “intersex” anywhere on them. “Intersex” is not a scientific designation, but a social one. It’s not reality, but fantasy. There are two sexes and abnormalities afflicting them, nothing more. This is much as how someone suffering with hypertrichosis (excessive hair growth. Example: “Jo-Jo the Dog-Faced Boy”) isn’t “inter-species,” but a fully human person with a disorder.
What we’re actually seeing here with the “intersex” illusion is the now-common desire to define abnormalities as either “lifestyle choices” or “normal variation.” But as G.K. Chesterton put it, “A fallacy doesn’t cease to be a fallacy because it becomes a fashion.”
People enduring these chromosomal abnormalities certainly have crosses to bear and, assuming they haven’t joined the sexual devolutionary phalanx of social engineers, deserve compassion. What no one deserves, ever, is to have all of society’s grasp of reality altered to facilitate the lie that his abnormality doesn’t exist as such because he can’t accept the truth. Warping a civilization’s sense of reality is dangerous and shouldn’t be tolerated for a moment.
Anyway, there’s the traditionalist answer to “What is a woman?” Your move, sexual devolutionaries. But I think that’s checkmate.
