Prime Minister’s Rutte’s recent statement about “our war” in Ukraine, is a “violation of the Constitution and therefore punishable”, said PVV leader Geert Wilders.

According to Wilders, Rutte is illegally dragging the Dutch into a war. “It is not our war, Rutte and if you really believe that, you are in violation of the Constitution and therefore punishable.” Wilders referred to Article 96 of the Dutch Constitution, which states, “The Kingdom shall not be declared at war except with the prior consent of the Senate.”

A journalist asked Prime Minister Rutte during the weekly press conference after the Council of Ministers last week whether the Dutch were being drawn into a war that is not theirs. He answered that “that war over there is ours” with reference to Ukraine.

Very soon the hashtags “not my war” and “not our war” trended on Twitter. People also pointed out that the prime minister was breaking the law with this statement.

In violation of the law

“Rutte speaks about ‘our war’. So that is a declaration of war on Russia. But for such a declaration, he needs the consent of the Lower and Upper Houses according to the Dutch Constitution. With his statement, he is therefore in violation of the law,” explained journalist Joost Niemoller.

“A parliamentary debate on Rutte’s declaration of war seems the least he can do. Or are we going to pass in silence again and are we in a war without a word being exchanged?

Writer Leon de Winter demanded that Rutte resign. “Now that Putin knows this, the Netherlands is a target for Russian missiles from submarines and from the air. Rutte must take this back immediately and resign,” emphasised De Winter.

Philosopher of law Raisa Blommestijn also noted: “I wonder if the virtuous ones realise that Rutte’s statement that ‘the war in Ukraine is ours’ means slightly more than raising a Ukrainian flag or putting it in your bio.”

Ignoring the Dutch Constitution is becoming a habit for mainstream politicians

Member of Parliament Gideon van Meijeren (FVD) meanwhile asked the Foreign Minister 14 questions about the controversial Bilderberg conference. He answered none of these. Hoekstra hid behind Chatham House Rules to avoid scrutiny, but in doing so, also ignored the Constitution.

According to Dutch Minister Wopke Hoekstra, Bilderberg does not determine who the next American president will be, but is that correct? Hoekstra is the Deputy Prime Minister of the Netherlands and Minister of Foreign Affairs.

Since 2002 the British rule has been: “When a meeting, or part thereof, is held under the Chatham House Rule, participants are free to use the information received, but neither the identity nor the affiliation of the speaker(s), nor that of any other participant, may be revealed.”

“I’d like to make it more exciting than it is, but there really isn’t a decision being made there about who will be the next football champion or who will be the next US president. It is not about that. Topics are exchanged and these are exactly the topics as listed on the website,” was the only thing Hoekstra wanted to say.

Van Meijeren said he should be given the tools to do his job as a parliamentarian and monitor the government. “That is not possible if the minister hides behind this and to my knowledge there is no Chatham House Rule that is above our Constitution.”

Sighing deeply, the minister promised to “fine-tune” and answer the parliamentary questions on this.

Coincidence?

Even if Minister Hoekstra claims that the conference “does not decide who the next American president will be”, Bill Clinton was invited to the conference in 1991. Two years later, in 1993, he was elected President of America. Coincidence?

Angela Merkel attended the Bilderberg conference in May 2005. In November of that year, she was elected Chancellor of Germany. Another coincidence?

Emmanuel Macron attended the conference in Copenhagen in June 2014. Three years later, he became President of France. Still a coincidence? In May 1982 Helmut Kohl was invited to the Bilderberg conference in Norway. In October that year he took office as Chancellor. Probably just a coincidence.

Tony Blair was still relatively unknown in 1993 when he attended the Bilderberg conference. In 1997 he was suddenly Prime Minister of Great Britain. And there are many more examples. Margaret Thatcher took part in the Bilderberg Conference in 1975. Four years later she became Prime Minister.

Migrants in Germany must gain citizenship “better” and “faster” in order to make Germany a “modern immigration country,” said German Federal Commissioner for Migration, Refugees and Integration Reem Alabali-Radovan, which she argues means dramatically reforming the country’s nationality law.

“We are starting a new beginning in integration policy in solidarity with the federal, state, and local governments. We want to be a modern immigration country. It also means that we finally offer a way out of the intolerable chains of ‘toleration’ for those who have been living here in Germany for more than five years,” said the politician on Tuesday at the spring meeting of the integration officers of the federal and state governments in Berlin, according to a reportfrom the Deutschland Funk radio news service.

The minister was referring to “tolerated” migrants in the country who are allowed to stay in the country but have not had their asylum approved. If the law passes, 100,000 migrants would receive an expedited permanent residence visa after spending five years in the country instead of the customary eight years, which in turn allow them to obtain citizenship far more quickly.

“We must not continue to force them to sit around, but must give them a fair perspective,” the social democrat continued.

Germany’s left-wing government, made up of the Green party, the Social Democrats (SPD), and the economic liberals of the Free Democratic Party have long made clear their desire to ramp up mass immigration and rewrite the country’s laws to do accomplish this goal.

“We must make it possible for people to have more than one nationality,” the minister added.

The federal government will present a draft law this year.

Some were disappointed at the results of the French presidential election, but I noted thetremendous scope of the political surge for Marine Le Pen.

 Marine Le Pen has been gaining fairly steadily. In 2012, she couldn’t break out with less than 18%. Last time around, she made it to 33% against Macron, and this time she appears to have picked up over 41%.

A loss is still a loss, but there’s no denying the reality that she’s made gains that would have appeared impossible in the past.

The parliamentary numbers are much more of a gamechanger.

According to estimates, Le Pen’s party will win between 85-90 seats, up from just two in 2012 and eight in 2017, which could make it the second-largest party in parliament. Major pollsters last week estimated just 25-50 seats.

“We have achieved our three objectives: that of making Emmanuel Macron a minority president, without control of power and that of pursuing the political recomposition essential to democratic renewal,” a triumphant Le Pen told reporters after being re-elected in northern France and vowing to be a respectful opposition.

That is an even more massive increase.

Socialist veteran Jean-Luc Melenchon’s new leftist NUPES coalition secured 131 seats, becoming the main opposition force.

NUPES includes the French Communist Party and other Marxist groups. Hardly good news, but it’s also a message. The establishment had the opportunity to fix this, and after repeated promises, much of the public is going to the margins. And we’re kidding ourselves if we think it couldn’t happen in America.

An investigation has been launched following the disturbing incidents that followed. As reported by the newspaper Le Figaro on Sunday June 19, a senior teacher (CPE) at the Lycée Charlemagne in the fourth arrondissement of Paris was threatened with death. The Paris Public Prosecutor’s Office has therefore filed a complaint to clarify the circumstances of these threats, which occurred after an altercation with a student who refused to remove her headscarf to take part in a baccalaureate examination.

On Thursday June 16, a girl from a Parisian high school went to the Lycée Charlemagne for the French baccalaureate exam. She allegedly refused to remove her headscarf, thus preventing the identity check that is usually carried out before candidates enter the examination room. She insisted on wearing her headscarf “despite several reminders of the law (of 2004 on the wearing of religious symbols at school, ed.) by the staff of the education office who were present at the reception of the examination”, as reported by Le Figaro. The pupil is said to have finally given in after what was perceived as a “tense” exchange with the CPE.

The situation subsequently escalated on Twitter. An internet user who claimed to be a relative of the veiled girl accused the education ministry official of being “Islamophobic” after she committed “unacceptable” acts of “outrageous viciousness”. He then deleted his tweets and later his account, Le Figaro reported. Martyrdom for an Italian woman and now, unfortunately, everyday life:

While driving to Guidonia, a knife was held to her throat and she was forced to drive to a remote location where two tormentors who had just entered the car allegedly held her down to subject her to a cruel rape.

According to the woman, the rapists were two Maghreb men who got into her car armed with knives.

The 45-year-old woman stated that she was raped in broad daylight by two men, presumably of Maghreb origin, who got into her car on a pretext while she was several kilometres away from her home.

The gang rape took place on the morning of Thursday June 16. The carabinieri of the Monterotondo Company, who are in charge of the place where the violent acts are said to have been committed, a remote area of Fonte Nuova, a few kilometres from Guidonia, where the woman was attacked by the rapists, made the report.

The first investigations were carried out on the car driven by the woman, hoping to find useful clues for the investigation.

The woman’s husband reported the rape to the carabinieri after receiving a tearful phone call from his wife.

“I don’t think I ever saw them before,” the victim reported, “but they looked like Maghrebians. They got into the car and forced me to drive several kilometres at knifepoint. That was followed by the horrific incident “.

The woman was then taken to a hospital in Rome where military doctors carried out medical examinations.
