Germany: African man undresses in bank branch and masturbates in front of customers

On Thursday morning, a 22-year-old man undressed in a bank branch in Kasseler Street in Homberg.

The man undressed in the bank branch, lay down on the floor and manipulated his genitals in front of the customers and employees. A short time later, the man left the bank branch and stayed in the area of Kasseler Street/Drehscheibe. Here, too, passers-by had to watch the incident. Shortly afterwards, a police patrol from the Homberg police station managed to arrest the man, who lives in Homberg, without resistance.

At present, it is not possible to say what exactly motivated the man, who comes from Eritrea, to do this.

The criminal investigation department has started the investigation.

Lost in Germany – opinion

All 16 German states, including the federal government, currently have commissioners tasked with fighting antisemitism. The city-state of Berlin has five commissioners devoted to fighting antisemitism. In the “best Germany ever,” Jews should actually feel very protected in view of this fact, and that there might soon be more commissioners than Jews in the country, to put in satirical terms.

Unfortunately, there is a catch. While German Interior Minister Nancy Faeser stoically points to the danger from the extreme Right, the dangers of Islamism are being denied by her ministry.

Antisemitism from the right-wing populist side is condemned everywhere, and one can be sure of applause from the left-wing forces. If, however, one points to Muslim Jew-hatred, of which the majority of Jews are afraid, in its particularly aggressive form, one runs the risk, even as a German Jew, of being unjustifiably placed in an extreme right-wing corner.

Germany’s condition has deteriorated dramatically since the uncontrolled influx of migrants and refugees in 2015. And there is a disturbing tendency to silence those – not just Jews and women – who criticize unfettered immigration that contributes to a spike in antisemitism and misogyny.

Unfortunately, however, the government’s federal antisemitism commissioner can hardly take action either; who shoots at his own employer? Even the Central Council of Jews, the main German Jewish organization, often seems to have its hands tied. Financially dependent on the government and reliant on Berlin for ensuring the security of Jewish institutions, it is not surprising that the Central Council is often silent when an outcry would be necessary.

The antisemitism commissioner of the southern German state of  Baden-Württemberg, Michael Blume, is an example of something rotten in Germany’s fight against Jew-hatred. Blume’s position can be described as a farce. He punishes criticism of his work with publicity on Twitter.

One would want an antisemitism commissioner to end the sister-city relationship between Freiburg and Isfahan, a city in the murderous regime of Iran, which wants to wipe out Israel; and terminate the bank account of one of the largest BDS-affiliated organizations at the Landesbank Baden-Württemberg. But Blume apparently does not want to understand.

Blume prefers to look for “scientific connections” between antisemitism and decarbonization. No kidding.

Critics are defamed by him as right-wing trolls, including the prominent German Jewish author Henryk M. Broder, a child of Holocaust survivors, who with unparalleled wit never tires of putting his finger in the wound of those who like to pose as “friends of the Jews” and who he unmasks with razor-sharp precision.

In an interview with Deutschlandfunk (Broadcast Germany), Blume fabricated that there are “right-wing extremists” within the Jewish community who react with “hatred” toward his German Muslim wife. I know of no one in the Jewish communities to whom the accusation applies. Blume provided no evidence.

Why Blume defames Jews, of all people, in the interview is quite disconcerting for an antisemitism official. His inclusion in the Simon Wiesenthal Center’s “Global Antisemitism Top Ten” list of people committing the worst antisemitic incidents in 2021 is no coincidence.

THUS, AS a Jew in Germany, one obviously has to come to terms with the fact that the position of an antisemitism commissioner is in most cases cosmetic, in order to soothe the German conscience, but in reality can hardly make a difference.

Now, as is well known, the fish stinks from the head first.

During her recent visit to Israel, Germany’s new foreign minister, Annalena Baerbock, one day after visiting Yad Vashem, assured Palestinian Authority head, Mahmoud Abbas, that Germany would be his reliable partner.

This means that Palestinian terror pensions will continue to be indirectly financed by German taxpayers, and that UNRWA will not have to worry about printing anti-Israel hate textbooks.

The show must go on.

Israel is currently experiencing one of the worst waves of terror in recent years, with 14 dead in just over two weeks.

In its statement, the federal foreign office uses the boilerplate language that is already familiar from the bad times of the previous foreign minister, Heiko Maas. It speaks of a possible “spiral of violence” between Jews, Muslims and Christians. The fact that it is a matter of Islamist terror is not mentioned. Thank God, they do not call for “moderation on all sides.”

It seems as though Germany’s politicians want to ignore the fact that the Islamists who commit terror attacks against “infidels” in Germany have the same mindset as the Islamists who attack Israelis. It’s no use mourning the dead terror victims in Israel, if the money keeps flowing to the Palestinians, and Germany indirectly co-finances  “terror pensions” paid to the families of Palestinian terrorists.

How good it is that in the worst of all cases for us Jews, there is Israel.

I have no idea where non-Jewish Germans can flee.

German Scrabble introduces non-binary tile

The game manufacturer Mattel will also offer a gender tile (*in) for the board game. “With the gender tile in Scrabble, we have the opportunity to provide the impetus for gender-appropriate language. It is a visible sign that the rules of the game have changed in society,” the company said.

Thanks to the “innovation”, gendering “can be easily learned in a playful way and transferred into everyday language use,” the company emphasized. The use of the gender tile in the game is rewarded with ten points.

The game instructions for Scrabble will also be changed throughout from autumn.

Criticism came from the German language association: “Mattel has decided to curry favor with the small but loud minority of gender fans. That’s why there are now points for wrong language – analogous to universities, which punish correct language with a point deduction.”

According to surveys, a large majority of Germans reject gendering.

Fury erupts over comments of Merkel’s ex-military advisor on Ukraine war

Former military advisor to Chancellor Merkel, retired Brigadier General Erich Vad, has caused a furious reaction from the Ukrainian Ambassador to Germany, Andrei Melnyk. Referring to war in Ukraine, he had said that it had “not been Putin’s intention” to take a maternity clinic.

“Why would he do that? He is being pilloried around the world for that. As terrible as that is, we had that and the acceptance of thousands of dead civilians in Iraq, in Libya, in Afghanistan as well,” Vad told dpa. So-called collateral damage in Ukraine has even been far less than in Iraq or Afghanistan, he added.

Vad also warned against denying Kremlin leader Putin humanity and labelling him a pathological despot with whom one could no longer talk. The Ukraine war is part of a chain of comparable recent wars. “Iraq, Syria, Libya, Afghanistan – none of this is that new,” said Vad. Nor are the dead civilians in the Ukraine war exceptional.

“In war, innocent people are killed. That is the way war is. It is unfortunately inherent in the system.” Vad recalled the 2003 Iraq war, saying hundreds of thousands of civilians were killed in that war and during the subsequent occupation of the country. “Compared to that, Putin is not out of the ordinary.”

It is also double-edged to accuse Putin of counting Ukraine and Crimea as part of Russia’s geopolitical sphere of influence. It is then said that this is an obsolete view of the 19th century. “But for the Americans, the Monroe Doctrine still applies today, which says that no intervention by foreign powers will be tolerated on the American continent. And the Caribbean is certainly a sphere of influence too, not just since the Cuban missile crisis.”

“We are doing a lot of war rhetoric at the moment,” Vad said. “But the road to hell, as we know, is always paved with good intentions. We have to think of the end of ongoing war between Russia and Ukraine. If we don’t want World War III, sooner or later we have to get out of this military escalation logic and start negotiations.”

Vad also spoke out in particular against the delivery of heavy weapons to Ukraine, which is being pushed by the Green Party Foreign Minister Baerbock, for example. Such deliveries are potentially a “path to the third world war”, he said. Apart from that, complex weapon systems such as the Leopard main battle tank or the Marder infantry fighting vehicle could only be operated and used properly after years of training. So they are of no military use to the Ukrainians at present and for the foreseeable future.

The chances for a negotiated solution are not bad in the light of recent military developments, Vad said. “Both sides could come out of this saving face. The Ukrainians have proven that they have effectively defended their capital Kiev and, moreover, are waging a successful defensive struggle against a superior opponent.” The Russians, in turn, have made some land gains in the east and on the Black Sea coast, he said. “These are not the worst conditions for ceasefire.”

At the beginning of March 2022, Vad stated that the Ukrainian troops had no prospect of permanently asserting themselves against the Russian troops. From a military perspective, it makes more sense to “pull the Ukrainian resistance to western Ukraine,” where supplies are easier. Battles for cities like Kiev are purely symbolic. The Russian strategy in Ukraine is to encircle the large urban centers and let many civilians leave. “The Russians go into these cities selectively to neutralize buildings important to the government and military infrastructure.” This is the Russian strategy, which they are taking their time with, he explained.native advertising

The 2019 Ukrainian presidential election had confirmed the Russian bent of the population of Kiev-occupied Donbass (45 percent). Candidate Zelenski also held a “Russian-compatible” speech at the time, as was reported by FWM. Integration into the Russian Federation was not viewed as a problem at all.

Interestingly, in 2019, the RAND Corporation considered it extremely costly for Washington to adopt trade and financial sanctions against Russia. The decision to go ahead with such measures appears more and more like an irrational and desperate act.

Spain: An umpteenth Catholic procession is pelted with stones by a gang of allegedly isolated underage Muslim refugees, several similar attacks took place this Holy Week

A group of unaccompanied minor refugees from the Bermúdez de Castro hostel in Granada disrupted the Catholic procession in the early hours of Holy Thursday morning (…) Fortunately, the quick intervention of the police prevented serious incidents.

Total outrage in Granada. The procession had been on the road for about an hour and a half, and as it went down the Cuesta del Chapiz, a large number of objects began to rain down on those present. All of these projectiles came from the migrant shelter mentioned above, as several sources confirmed.

The president of Vox Granada, Onofre Miralles, condemned the events through his networks: “Yesterday I had the honour of accompanying the procession. I was informed that objects were thrown at the procession from the reception centre for underage migrants. They are directed against our culture and our tradition. I demand action on the part of the Region of Andalusia”.

This is the umpteenth attack on a Catholic procession during Holy Week. It is not the first incident and unfortunately it will not be the last. Last Sunday, a group of North Africans had tried to attack the Easter procession in El Vendrell (Tarragona). The local police had to intervene and arrest two of them for disturbing public order.
