The son of Abdelhakim Sefrioui, an Islamic extremist accused and imprisoned in connection with the murder of Samuel Paty, was arrested late Saturday morning by the Sous Direction Antiterroriste and taken into police custody as part of the investigation into the teacher’s murder, according to a source familiar with the investigation.

The 29-year-old was arrested when he went to visit his father in Beauvais prison. According to the same source, the reasons for his detention in this case are currently unknown.

General Waldemar Skrzypczak, former head of the Polish ground forces, has raised eyebrows by calling for Poland to occupy the Russian enclave of Kaliningrad.

However, Kaliningrad (formerly called Königsberg) was never Polish, but German. It became part of the Soviet Union as a postwar settlement at the end of World War II, and was thereafter part of the Russian Federation. The Germans have never demanded it back. In the Final Settlement treaty of 1990, Germany renounced all claims to it.

Russian authorities shrugged off the Polish general’s comments. “Such statements do not mean anything. There are many fools. It is not worth paying special attention to their words,” said Andrei Klishas, ​​chairman of the Federation Council Committee for Constitutional Legislation and State Structure.

Konstantin Kosaczow, vice-chairman of the Federation Council (the upper house of the Russian parliament) said, in turn, that “Polish leaders must get to know the history of World War II and their country better”.

The politician, quoted by RIA Novosti, added: “It seems that this general either did not even go to school or completely skipped all history lessons. The brainwashing process has been going on all these years – and here’s the horrible result.”

Kosaczow argued that Western politicians have forgotten about their history and “have no conscience”.

On Saturday, a spokeswoman for the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs also commented on Skrzypczak’s words on her Telegram channel suggesting that the comments of the Polish military were mere attention-seeking.

BILD learned: Gokhan S. (25) allegedly got into the car of a young woman (24) in Ramersdorf on Thursday ( January 20). The drive went about eight kilometres to the vicinity of Leonrodplatz square, where S. lived. There he apparently wanted to rape his victim in the back seat. He is also said to have threatened her with violence.

The woman resisted and was able to flee naked onto Dachauer Street. Walkers noticed the shocked 24-year-old and alerted the police. More than ten patrols searched without success.

Anne Leiding, spokeswoman for the public prosecutor’s office, told BILD: “We are conducting a preliminary investigation into a sexual offence in which a suspect is already in custody.”

How could Gokhan S. be caught? According to BILD information, it is the same man who allegedly threatened a Mercedes employee (47) at the car dealership on the street Arnulfstraße only five days later.

S. threatened the 47-year-old with a butterfly knife and forced her to hand over the keys to a Mercedes G-Class car. Another employee noticed this and alerted the police. Officers were able to arrest the perpetrator as he was about to leave the car dealership premises.

The crime concerning the Mercedes was reported, but the attempted rape has not been reported to date. According to the public prosecutor’s office, Gokhan S. remains silent about the accusations.

In the trial for the killing and beheading of a homeless man in Lower Bavaria, several witnesses were heard on Friday.

Pleadings were also to be held. The defendant before the Deggendorf Regional Court is a 22-year-old who allegedly killed a fellow resident in a homeless shelter in July 2021 with at least 111 stab wounds and decapitated the body. The prosecution accuses him of murder. The trial is about the Somali’s placement in a psychiatric ward. He is said to have been in a state of criminal incapacity.

Two therapists reported several conversations with the accused. He had told different versions of the crime, sometimes expressing surprise that his victim had died, and sometimes saying that his flatmate had asked him to kill him. Police officers reported that the accused could not be calmed down after his arrest in the detention cell, that he made a ” mental ” appearance and that he repeatedly ran full force with his head against the wall.

Several officers were needed to handcuff the man. In the process, one of the officers, according to his own statement, suffered a clean break in his left wrist.
