Algerian Saber Lahmar, initially portrayed by the press as a victim of injustice after his detention in Guatanamo, was put on trial for inciting and preparing the departure of jihadists to Iraq and Syria
Two counter-terrorism judges transferred him on February 17 on charges of criminal “terrorist organisation”, according to a decision obtained by AFP.
The trial will take place in Paris from May 10 to 13, a judicial source reported.
The 53-year-old Algerian-born man is believed by the judiciary to be a former member of the Algerian Groupe islamique armé (GIA) who later crossed Saudi Arabia and Bosnia.
He was suspected of carrying out an attack on the US embassy in Sarajevo and was detained at the US Guantanamo camp in Cuba in early 2002.
He was released by the US in late 2009 and transferred to France, where he had settled near Bordeaux and was working as an imam in a mosque and an illegal prayer room.
Saber Lahmar is accused of being ” involved in radical Islam “, which he denies, making ” very violent statements ” in sermons ” in which he attacked Jews, called for the killing of apostates and martyrdom “.
He is suspected of having maintained links with several jihadist personalities in France.
Saber Lahmar is also accused of “directly encouraging and preparing” the departure in the summer of 2015 of a man, Othman Yekhlef, who has been considered ” killed in the region ” since the end of 2015, and of a couple and their four children towards ” the Iraqi-Syrian zone “.
The father, Salim Machou, is among the seven Frenchmen sentenced to death by the Iraqi judiciary in 2019 for their membership of the Islamic State (IS) group.
The judiciary is also investigating whether Saber Lahmar was “paid” 35,000 euros for his activity on these exits by the Sanabil association, which was dismantled by the French authorities at the end of 2016 because they had attributed it to the jihadist haze.
Lawyers for Saber Lahmar, who was charged and detained in June 2017, did not respond to an AFP query.
A trial has also been ordered for the man the judiciary considers his “second in command”, Mohamed H., born in Morocco in 1977. The latter “strongly denies the charges against him”, according to his lawyer NoĂ©mie Saidi-Cottier. La Presse.ca
The sex offenders in Germany are mostly Turks, Afghans and Syrians
The proportion of foreigners suspected of committing sexual offences has increased significantly in recent years. Between 2000 and 2020, the proportion of foreigners suspected of rape rose from 35 per cent to 42.44 per cent, according to an information provided by the federal government in response to a parliamentary question by the AfD parliamentary group. According to the report, the alleged perpetrators are mostly Turks, Afghans and Syrians.
The Federal Statistical Office only had figures for jointly committed rapes for the period from 2009 to 2020. Also in these years, the proportion of non-German suspects grew from 29.55 per cent to 41.18 per cent.
In cases of sexual assault, the statistics show an increase from 35 per cent to 50 per cent within 20 years. At the same time, the number of cases dropped from 302 to 228, with Turkish nationals making up the main group of suspects, followed by Afghans and Syrians.
The co-chairman of the AfD, Stephan Brandner, commented on the figures to the newspaper Junge Freiheit. “The proportion of non-German suspects in crimes of a sexual nature, such as rape, is shocking. Women in particular could have been spared a great deal of suffering if the borders had not been open to all.”
With regard to Women’s Day on March 8, the MP said, “Especially on Women’s Day, we are told from all sides how important it is to make good policies for women. From my point of view, however, this should not mean to speak or write gender-neutral throughout, but that women can move around in safety and don’t have to be afraid to go out on the streets in the dark.”

Former French Minister of State Alain JuppĂ©, during his term as Mayor of Bordeaux, gave funding to an Islamist association under investigation for “incitement to terrorist acts”
The Bordeaux-based association “ComitĂ© Action Palestine” has been targeted by the Minister of the Interior. GĂ©rald Darmanin wants to request the dissolution of the association and accuses it in particular of “incitement to hatred”, “violence” and “incitement to terrorist acts”.
The government accuses the organisation of ” spreading communiquĂ©s” and “reporting on the activities of Palestinian terrorist organisations, in particular Hamas, the Islamic Jihad Movement in Palestine and Hezbollah”. It denounces the statute which states that it “supports all organisations in the fight against Israel, even if they use violence or terrorist methods”.
(âŠ) Several associations from Bordeaux and left-wing parties have also declared their support for the ComitĂ© Action Palestine and its president: Parti de Gauche, the trade union Solidaire (SUD), the CGT Ăducation or even France insoumise.
Bordeaux residents will also be surprised to learn that this association benefited from “benefits in kind” from the mayor’s office during the time of Alain JuppĂ© ( former minister of state and environment and mayor, editor’s note)!Infos Bordeaux

Fraud: German hospitals collected funding without ever treating a Corona patient
In connection with the Corona crisis, numerous German hospitals have collected fees on fraudulent grounds. Millions are at stake.
German hospitals are alleged to have cheated during the Corona crisis in order to collect millions for intensive care beds. In the first wave of the pandemic, all hospitals in Germany received a flat rate for hospital beds that the hospitals kept free for the treatment of Covid-19 patients.
As a key measure, it was agreed that the compensation payments for loss of income, which expired at the end of September last year, would be continued. The federal states then designated hospitals that received compensation payments for hospital beds that were empty due to postponed interventions.
Fraud is also alleged to have taken place in connection with funds for new intensive care beds. A group of lawyers, public prosecutors and a judge have filed criminal charges against two large German hospitals in the Saarland area.
In the current second wave of the pandemic, only hospitals that offer emergency care and located in a region with a high incidence of infection could still receive refunds. This was determined by the local authorities.
Specifically, in areas with a 7-day incidence of over 70, in which there is less than 25 percent free operable intensive care capacity, money flowed freely. Since the end of November 2020, German clinics have been able to collect funds if the Corona incidence figure was more than 70 patients. In this way, a hospital with 600 beds could for example collect up to 50 000 euros per day.
The lawyers said: âThe criminal complaint highlights how these institutions have benefited economically from the Corona crisis in a way that is relevant under criminal lawâ.
Eye clinics also collected money
The money was paid for all free beds in a hospital, not only for intensive care beds. Last June, the Tagesschau reported that âall kinds of hospitals had received large sums of money as retention feesâ. Among them were also âspecialised hospitals such as pure eye clinicsâ, which âwould never have treated a Covid patientâ.
The German daily went on to write: âA 600-bed hospital could easily collect 50 000 euros per day in this way. Most recently, according to the Central Association of Statutory Health Insurance Funds, every second hospital, 977 clinics to be exact, received money through these flat rates.â
In the case of the two hospitals alone, against which criminal charges have now been filed, the amount involved is said to be 18 million euros, according to the lawyers. The complaint goes on to say that not only the clinics are affected: âOnly in cooperation with DIVI, RKI and BMG can the allocation of funds, practically at the call of the clinics, be understood.â
The lawyers assume that âthe possibility of fraudulent behaviour on the part of the clinics was accepted here with obvious collusionâ.
The lawyers who filed criminal charges against the SaarbrĂŒcken clinics assume that the two cases reported are only the tip of the iceberg. âThe facts of the case should be made public, as the clinics involved here are only two of about 100 clinics that have acted in the same way,â according to the lawyers.
They fear the âpossible waste of a billion-dollar sumâ. The public prosecutorâs office in charge did not want to give any information on the state of the investigation. Public prosecutor Dominik Degel told the Berliner Zeitung in response to a question that âfor reasons of procedural protection, no information can be given at presentâ.
Meanwhile, the public prosecutorâs office in Braunschweig has confirmed that it has opened an investigation on suspicion of subsidy fraud.
The background may involve âwrongfully received payments for Corona beds kept freeâ, reported the business daily Wirtschaftswoche.
Germany: Muslim policeman threatens to “slaughter” infidels – He is deployed, among other things, to protect Berlin synagogues
The police of the state of Berlin is a very diverse force. Of course, it also offers Turkish citizens professional prospects. And for these people – as for everyone else – freedom of opinion, art and religion applies.
Tolga K. also belongs to this diverse force. He is a police officer with the Central Property Protection. A “German” police officer, mind you. Even if you don’t notice it in his YouTube videos and publications on social networks: he prefers to salute the Turkish flag rather than the German one.
On the one hand, he took an oath on the Basic Law:
“I swear that I will faithfully exercise my office in accordance with the Basic Law for the Federal Republic of Germany and the Constitution of Berlin for the common good and conscientiously fulfil my official duties; so help me God.”
On the other hand, he leaves no doubt as to whose God he expects help from and how he interprets his liberties when he sets rap songs to music with words like:
“Those who obey the infidel will be slaughtered by the Turks. We give our lives for God, for every martyr will be avenged.”
What Jews have to expect from Tolga K. & his fellow comrades-in-arms is put into words by one of his fellow comrades-in-arms in the rap song, which is set up as a duet:
“Muslim, do not abandon al-Quds to the enemy.”
By al-Quds, the holy, is meant Jerusalem, which is to be snatched from the enemy. The enemy is the Jews.
The tasks of the Central Property Protection of the Berlin police include not only the protection of diplomatic missions, but also of synagogues. How their security is affected when Tolga K. stands armed in front of the door is for everyone to judge.
The newspaper “Die Welt” quotes a German member of parliament as saying:
“Whoever works here for the German state and on the other hand is fascinated by Turkish-fascist ideology must not only accept the reproach of being misguided in the police, but also that he is apparently completely misguided in this country.”

COVID Vaccines – What Happened to ‘Safe and Effective’?
By Brian C. Joondeph, M.D.
COVID vaccines were developed in record time, one might say at âwarp speed,â the name of the operation instituted by President Trump in 2020. We were assured by those in whom we place trust that these vaccines were âsafe and effective.â
In August 2021, President Biden told us, âAfter a strict process, the FDA has reaffirmed its findings that the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine is safe and effective, and the FDA has given its full and final approval.â
The CDC said the same, and confirmed just days ago that, âCOVID-19 vaccines are safe and effective.â Dr. Anthony Fauci received his first dose of the Moderna vaccine a few days before Christmas in 2020, the same time I received my first dose of the same vaccine.
According to ABC News, âThe event was shown live on national television as part of an effort to reassure Americans that the vaccine was safe and effective.â Dr. Fauci felt âextreme confidenceâ in the vaccine science and wanted to get vaccinated publicly as a symbolic gesture for the rest of the country.
Major medical institutions such as Johns Hopkins University echoed Dr Fauci and the CDC saying, âThe Pfizer and Moderna vaccines are strongly recommended as safe and effective at preventing serious illness or death from COVID-19.â
How are vaccines developed? The College of Physicians of Philadelphia explains, âVaccine development is a long, complex process, often lasting 10-15 years and involving a combination of public and private involvement.â
Johns Hopkins agrees, âA typical vaccine development timeline takes 5 to 10 years, and sometimes longer, to assess whether the vaccine is safe and efficacious in clinical trials, complete the regulatory approval processes, and manufacture sufficient quantity of vaccine doses for widespread distribution.â
Normally, itâs a step wise process,
Each clinical trial phase follows completion of the prior phase
Can take a long time to accumulate cases to assess vaccine efficacy outside pandemic
Manufacturing capacity is scaled-up after phase III trial and regulatory approval
But this may be accelerated during a pandemic:
Some clinical trial phases are combined
Cases accumulate rapidly to assess vaccine efficacy because of the pandemic
Manufacturing capacity is scaled up during the clinical trials but at financial risk
For COVID, this process was definitely accelerated. It was in March 2020 that COVID went from an interesting news item to a battering ram pounding the entire world. And just 9 months later, not 5 to 10 years later, Dr Fauci, myself, and many others received their first vaccine doses.
The mission of the FDA is to protect public health by, âensuring the safety, efficacy, and security of human and veterinary drugs, biological products, and medical devices,â and vaccines certainly fall into this category. Many bemoan the process when it is slow. How often do patients suffering from currently untreatable or inadequately treatable diseases wish the approval process was faster, hoping they donât die waiting for the next wonder drug to be approved?
How has this played out with the COVID vaccines? I must add the standard and necessary disclaimer that I am not anti-vaccine, having been personally fully vaccinated. Nor am I offering medical advice, only an analysis of where we are with COVID vaccines now two years into this current pandemic. Any vaccine decisions should be between you and your physician based on a thoughtful analysis of risks and benefits, as is standard for any medical intervention.
Several reports are worthy of analysis regarding the âsafe and effectiveâ assertions made by regulatory authorities and leaders. Start with safety.
Last week, as reported by Yahoo! Finance, the FDA released, under orders from a U.S. District Judge, 55,000 pages of clinical trial documents which Pfizer submitted to the FDA as part the approval process. Originally the FDA wanted to suppress this data for 75 years as they had âlimited resourcesâ to prepare this data for release, yet they took approximately 75 days to review and analyze this same data before granting approval.
In the appendix is a âList of adverse events of special interest,â noting 1,291 different adverse events post vaccination, running 9 pages. There is always the issue of association versus causation, but the fact that Pfizer submitted this data to the FDA and the FDA fought to prevent its release raises red flags.
Aside from the FDA submission, there is the VAERS database which specially tracks vaccine related adverse effects. As Yahoo! Finance reported:
From mid-December, 2020 through February 18, 2022, the U.S. governmentâs database, the Vaccine Adverse Events Reporting System (VAERS), has received 1,134,984 reports of adverse events, including 24,402 deaths, following COVID vaccination. Additionally, there have been 4,021 cases of myocarditis and pericarditis in the U.S. with 2,475 cases associated with Pfizer, 1,364 cases with Moderna and 171 cases with J&Jâs COVID vaccine. These include 643 reports of myocarditis and pericarditis in children aged 12 to 17.
The U.S. Department of Defense also reported, âSharp spikes in miscarriages, myocarditis, cancer diagnoses, Bell’s palsy, female infertilityâ post-vaccination. Yet this is deemed unnewsworthy and the mediaâs so-called âfact checkersâ are always trying to âadd contextâ rather than encourage further analysis and discussion.
Then there is efficacy. British independent new site, The Expose, reported last week:
The latest data published by the UK Health Security Agency confirms deaths are rising dramatically among the triple vaccinated population whilst declining steadily among the not-vaccinated population in England.
With the most recent figures showing the fully vaccinated accounted for 9 in every 10 Covid-19 deaths over the past month; and the triple vaccinated accounted for 4 in every 5 of them.
The data are from an official government website which reports 70 percent of individuals in England receiving at least one vaccine dose, 65 percent getting two doses, and 50 percent boosted, meaning three doses. They also found vaccine effectiveness for the AstraZeneca vaccine dropping âto almost no effect from 20 weeks after the second dose.â For Pfizer and Moderna, the effectiveness dropped âto around 10% by 25 weeks after the second dose.â
They note that booster efficacy also quickly wanes, âVaccine effectiveness estimates for the booster dose are very similar, irrespective of the primary course received.â
This is just one bit of data and as the U.K. government points out, âThis raw data should not be used to estimate vaccine effectiveness.â But itâs also noteworthy, as are similar reports from other countries. NPR reported last summer, âHighly vaccinated Israel is seeing a dramatic surge in new COVID cases.â
These reports raise questions of both safety and efficacy of the COVID vaccines. This does not require a knee-jerk response of no vaccines for anyone or the opposite of how-dare-you-question the vaccines. Instead, why not a middle ground of asking questions, analyzing, and honestly reporting the data?
CDC Director Rochelle Walensky last admitted that the CDC dropped the ball on honesty saying, the CDC mislead the public about long-term effectiveness with âtoo little caution and too much optimism.â She went further, âNobody said âwaningâ when this vaccine is going to work, oh, maybe it will wear off or not be as potent against the new variant.â
By necessity, we as a society need to have a basic level of trust in our medical and government institutions, regulatory or leadership. We are told one thing repeatedly, and threatened, shamed, or chastised if we ask questions or challenge the narrative. Then when news or data are released that contradicts the narrative, trust in our institutions diminishes.
We have seen this numerous times with COVID, over subjects like natural immunity, off-label therapeutics, lockdowns, mask mandates, and social distancing, where discussion or disagreement is not allowed. Going further, many political issues became verboten to question or discuss, including Trump-Russia collusion, Hunter Bidenâs laptop, election integrity, and so on. Those who dared question the establishment narrative were banned from social media and polite society.
Businesses and lives were ruined by COVID and the resulting restrictions and mandates. Given the worldâs collective sacrifice, arenât we entitled to honesty and transparency from those who create these rules and hold the fates of so many individuals in their hands? Or has everything about COVID been simply a means to an end, replacing freedom and liberty with top-down control?
Hungary bans grain exports
After Ukraine and Russia, two of the largest grain producers in the world, the Hungarian government has decided to ban grain exports from Hungary.
Because of the rise in grain prices, the Hungarian government on Friday banned the export of grain from Hungary with immediate effect. Hungarian Minister of Agriculture IstvĂĄn Nagy stated: âAll grain exports are still prohibited by the government today because of the price increase caused by the Russian operation in Ukraine.â The reason for this is the concern expressed by Hungarian cattle breeders.
Hungarian Prime Minister Victor OrbĂĄn also commented on the challenges facing agriculture. At a congress of the Hungarian Association of Farmersâ Groups and Cooperatives, he said âthe most important thing is that Hungary stays out of this war conflictâ. It is about preventing âHungarians from having to pay the price of the warâ.
To this end, he announced that the Hungarian government will significantly increase funding for farm subsidies. This increase must be used to strengthen domestic processing of agricultural products.
While Hungary has agreed to EU sanctions, it has refused to allow arms shipments through its territory from other EU countries to Ukraine. The background is, among other things, a Hungarian minority in western Ukraine, which suffers from the same discriminatory laws as Russian-speaking Ukrainians.
With a ban on grain exports, Hungary is one of the first countries to react to the looming consequences of the Russian military operation and sanctions on the supply situation in Europe. Grain imports from Russia and the Ukraine have been restricted, while the availability of fertilizers is decreasing and energy costs are rising. As a result of these factors, not only prices will increase but also production losses are likely in Europe.
